    Two new reviews

I wrote two new reviews: one for Donkey Kong Country (SNES) and one for Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS2). Check them and out if you want, and give them a thumb rating!

I actually wrote the Jak review 5 months ago, but I only posted it on IGN.

    My thoughts on LittleBigPlanet

Today I finally got to try out LBP (my friend VladimirIon has it). And... wow. It's awesome.

I was playing multiplayer (sort of cooperatively) and I tried out some user created levels, like a sweet Mirror's Edge type level, which was probably my favorite user level. I also played through a few missions of the main campaign, co-op again, and I really loved the levels we played in that mode. Pure brilliance. The whole idea of a co-op platformer is really appealing to me, especially when it's pulled off this well

I pretty much liked everything about the game, although I didn't get to experiment with the level creating. But it was a whole lotta fun, and it totally surpassed all of my expectations, which were very high. It felt really good to play a great 2D platformer again. Man, I feel like playing it right now!

    GoldenEye multiplayer

I've finally tried out GoldenEye's split-screen multiplayer mode with my friend who's had the game for years. Now I know why it's been given so much praise. Split-screen is a freaking blast. Just having two players is fun, so three and four-player matches must be pretty amazing.

As for the actual income of the matches we played... well, it was pretty close overall, which made me appreciate the mode even more. We played three matches, one 20 point round and two 5 point rounds. My friend beat me by a fair margin in the 20 point round, but I won the second match (a 5 point game) although it was extremely close (I'm talking split second reactions). He beat me in the last round, though, despite 2 suicides (involving rockets, of course).

Anyways, playing this game eleven years after its initial release really makes me appreciate just how good it was for the time. It's crazy to think that it could still be such a blast, even after so many years. Great job on Rareware's part for crafting such a masterpiece!
