I have started using Filmspot and Gamespot websites, hopefully over the next few weeks I will find time to explore all these sites have to offer.

I have been watching 7th heaven season 8 in the UK and it has been good so far, I do hope that season 3 sells well on DVD this month - as it will give further incentive to release season 4 and so on.

I hope that the reports are true that 7th heaven is coming back, even if it is only for 13 episodes as it will allow fans to say goodbye to the series properly.

This is a really great show, one of the best shows if not the best show about families. There is only one problem...it is finishing!

After 10 great years we have to say goodbye to the Camden family and the town of Glen Oak.

I do not fully understand the reasons the WB are stopping this show -- it does not make sense for a network to cancel its highest rated show; especially when it is merging with UPN to form the CW network. 7th Heaven would have given the new network a good start.

But at least we will have 10 years of this show to enjoy; hopefully we will see the rest of 7th heaven released on DVD so we can enjoy them for years to come.

This is a great comedy and is very funny.
It is a shame that there were only 3 sesons.

    This movie was great!
The movie was fast paced, action packed and had an interesting story.
Fans of firefly should like this film. You can tell from this film that Joss Whedon has left TV and enter the world of film, and I wish him success.
I think Joss Whedons next film projects are a supernatural thriller called Goners and a Wonder Woman movie.
Even if there is not another serenity movie, this one was good enough and answers some questions from firefly. The good thing about this film was that you did'nt have to see the tv show to watch the film.

I have just watched the first tv movie of Hercules called hercules and the amazon women. Yes the special effects are not good by today's standards but the story was good.

It has its moments, a good story, good action and a pretty good theme music. So...all in all a very entertaining hour and a half.

It was a good start to hercules and i would give it 10/10.

I have just started watching this show, it took a while for me to get into it but it was very good.

There is some humour in the show and no doubt the most interesting character is the mysterious Remington Steele (played by Pierce Brosnan).

I was not expecting much from this show and I was surprised, it was not boring but interesting. It is not just the stories that make shows like this good, it is also the group of characters.

I like the characters and the stories so far (I have been watching episodes from seasons 1 and 3). It shows you just how much work is involved in missing persons cases and just how difficult and frustrating it can be.

All in all this show is quickly becoming a personal favourite of mine.

I have just started watching this show called Profiler, from the 4th episode of season one called "I'll be watching you". This episode, (being the first one I have seen) was good. The show has a very dark look and feel to it, even the opening credits music is dark in tone. At least there are some light hearted elements in the show, showing that it is not all doom and gloom.

I wanted to dedicate this blog entry to the actor James Doohan, who as many of you know passed away recently. He was most well known for his role on Star Trek as Chief Engineer Montgommery Scott or "Scotty".

He was a great actor and played one of my favourite characters from the original star trek.

There are so many good shows (that I like watching) that are on TV at the moment -- I normally have to use the summer to catch up on them all.

I've recently finished watching Firefly -- all in all it was a good show and it is a shame it did not continue for longer. The upside is that the film Serenity is coming this year, which I am looking forward to. If Firefly had been on a cable network rather than Fox, it might have lasted longer.

I have recently started watching Firefly. I missed the show when it was showed on TV, and after seeing the trailer for the upcoming movie serenity I decided to watch it.

I was not disappointed, the pilot episode I really enjoyed and the two episodes after that entitled "the train job" and "bushwacked were very good. I have watched two other shows that Joss Whedon worked on, buffy the vampire slayer and Angel. I enjoyed these shows and firefly, which I think will work well on the big screen. From what I've heard the movie serenity is set 6 months after the final episode of firefly.

I have yet to see the entire series of firefly but so far it is hard to see why the series was cancelled. Some shows that run on major network sometimes only run for one year, which could have continued had they been on cable networks. In the case of firefly it was probably better it didn't, otherwise this feature film may not have been made.

Who knows, the future of Firefly may be on the big screen...I hope so.

Now that Episode III Revenge of the Sith has been released and the saga is now complete; george lucas has said that the future of star wars will be on television. There will be no more movies.

There will be an animated series which will be an extension of the clone wars animated shorts; these will be using CGI or 3D animation and will be 30 minutes long. These will be set during the clone wars, in between episodes II and III. This animated series is set to begin either late this year or next year.

The live action series will be set between episodes II and III, this will about side characters or as Lucas calls them 'incidental characters'. Lucas said that he will write the first season all at once, and will direct only the first season himself (all at once). After this Lucas will hire a showrunner and step away from it.
Rumours are that we may see a young bobba fett in the series, possibly played by the young actor in episode II attack of the clones.

I liked the clone wars animated shorts and hopefully this new animated series will be just as good. I think this new live action series will be a good idea as long as it is kept interesting. It will be a good idea if they can try and tie it into the movies in some way. The live action series lucas and co are still coming up with ideas for at the moment. Hopefully we will hear something definite next year about what direction the show is taking, and when we will see it.

One thing is definite...star wars is not finished. I think this is good and gives me (and other star wars fans) something to look forward to.

Some good TV shows are ending this year: including JAG and some shows that were not given much of a chance, i.e. medical investigation (one season only) and Joan Of Arcadia.

Star Trek Enterprise has finished its fourth and final season on UPN. This show has gone through phases of being good, bad and then good again. The biggest problem being rewriting trek history as they went, or finding convenient loopholes to get around this. Although I thought the group of actors they got worked well together, sometimes some of the storylines they came up with were weird to say the least, i.e. Commander Tucker getting pregnant.
I think that the next star trek series (if they actually do one) should be based around black ops and can be connected to the storylines of the other three shows. Does every star trek show have to be about exploration? This may help revive star trek I think.
