Round 2

Sorry about the delay, I was busy with Star Wars Battlefront. Fighting against imperial walkers was cool, but it doesn't let me ride them. That's disappointing. I did manage to get through several more levels in Doom 3. I'm thinking it got easier after overclocking the video card a little. Now onto some classic + handheld recommendations!

GBA: Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, Wario Ware Inc., Sonic Advance 2, Boulder Dash EX, F-Zero Climax (import only)

NES: The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Mega Man (any)

SNES: Tetris (any), Super Mario All Stars+Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, Gradius III

Atari 2600: Donkey Kong, Pitfall II, Keystone Kapers

Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure 2, Wetrix +, Bust A Move 4, Crazy Taxi, Power Stone

C64: Risk, Boulder Dash, Test Drive II

That's not all! I've still got more games for you to go out and play. Come back again.

The summary
The biggest gaming surprise I had was trying to sell my Xbox (never played it) and PS2 (I want the slim version!). It taught me that GBA trade-ins are far more valuable at Gamestop and EBgames than either of those two consoles. GBA games drop from $30 new to about $6 on average, while pretty much everything on PS2 or Xbox drops from the disgusting $49.99 to around $1.50 or $3.00. What a difference! If you're curious about the ones I suggest you look into buying, read on. If not, go play your own favorite game and leave me alone. Anyway... Selling those consoles let me afford a DS. People around here are just astounded by the sight of one. Everybody seems to marvel at the technology. The PSP would get even better reactions from it's visual quality. Today, I had some people check out how cool Doom 3 is. Too bad I'm not a good enough player to finish the very first level. On to the brief suggestions- GC: Metroid Prime, F-Zero GX, Puyo Pop Fever - PS2: Kingdom Hearts, any Mega Man game - Xbox: GTA double pack - PC: Sonic Heroes, Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, Doom 3 - GBA: Wario Ware Inc., Sonic Advance 2, Classic NES The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Advance 2 and 4... My next purchase idea is one of those universal NES/Famicom systems, they're so stylish! See you next time for my recommendations for classic systems, like SNES and GBC.
