Requesting help in GRAW
I am actually trying to determine if there is a flaw in my disc (it is a used game) so any help from those who have played through the game would be great. Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure what mission it is, but you are airlifted into the zone, which is a rooftop. From there you work your way across rooftops. Your task is to destroy a roadblock and two antiaircraft areas. Once I get to the third area, I have the tank take care of the Transport Truck while I take out 3 enemy soldiers. Problem is, after I take out all the enemies soldiers and vehicles and complete my objectives, nothing happens. Supposedly I'm supposed to be airlifted from a roof somewhere, but like I said, nothing happens. No new objectives, nothing. I don't know if there was something I missed or if the game is glitching or dysfunctional. Help would be much appreciated.
By the way, I did backtrack through the battlezone checking for any more enemies and there were none to be found.- Posted Sep 5, 2006 8:15 am PT

Review of Halo PC
Even though Halo: Combat Evolved (PC) is an older game, I thought I'd give it a review anyway...
Halo PC is one of the best games I've played in a long time. If you own a decent rig, and enjoy PC gaming, this is definitely a good game to get if you don't already have it. The game is cheap (around $20) and doesn't require a spectacular system to fun it. Although campaign is fun, it's not much different than what'd you'd see in Halo (xbox). However, the multiplayer is where the difference lies. Fact is, the game supports a great multiplayer. It is much the same as the online multiplayer for xbox, but the community is where the difference lies. The community on the Halo PC is much friendlier overall. You still get the occasional "trouble-maker," but there are more quality gamers. You don't get as many people fighting and swearing. All in all, Halo PC is great. If you liked Halo or just want a great multiplayer, pick up this game. Sure, it's an older game but it's cheap and enjoyable. I have great expectations for the Halo 2 (PC), so hopefully it will live up to it's pre-quill.- Posted Aug 20, 2006 5:09 pm PT

Halo Controversy
While the game or series of games, Halo, are among the most popular and most entertaining of their kind, I find them to be extremely overrated by many users. Personally, I enjoy the game, especially the multiplayer. Although I haven't had much experience with the game and its experience on Xbox Live, I do own Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC and the online multiplayer is like nothing I've seen before. The campaign however, disgusted me. A friend of mine, TheCritic9392 wrote a blog comparing the Halo's to Metroid Prime: Hunters. He made a good point that a terrible con of Hunters was the fact that levels and bosses were extremely repetetive. The campaign for Combat Evolved was one of the worst and most repetetive campaigns I have played in my life. When I think of Halo, I think of the awesome FPS multiplayer that put Xboxes on the selves. I respect those who enjoy the game (because it is a fun game whose multiplayer can be played for long periods of time before it gets boring), but I detest the Halo fanboys. (I detest most gaming-fanboys. Videogames are awesome and all, but if you're gonna be a fanboy about them then you need to find some other things to get into.) Bottom line, Halo is a great game for multiplayer, but the campaign is nothing special. It's just another Sci-Fi special. I've just had enough of these fanboys (and I don't mean to direct it at only Halo-Fanboys. I'll probably write some other blogs ridiculing other fanboys.)- Posted Jun 23, 2006 2:36 pm PT
