Well, so I'm done with level 20: metal slime...
Woohoo for me I guess. It just doesn't seem as important anymore as it once was. But I guess it's still nice to see a change in level, and one that I worked really hard to pass. From reading news to preveiws to actual reviews, looking at gameplay movies, etc. It's really just me and my obsession with anything rpg-like.
In other news, as you can see I'm playing Kingdom Hearts and I think I'm very much near the end. Now I've finally played all the Kingdom Hearts games, and until the remake is released in December, I will be anticipating the DS and PSP sidestory games.
After all, way back when the only thing that I was going to buy a psp for was KH: BBS. But now luckily there are five more games that I'm planning on picking up, and I guess it's kinda worth it to get a psp. I mean I'm buying a psp around 2009-2010 so it's obviously going to be dirt cheap. There's no denying the failure of Sony's handheld system (and you'd think they'd have seen the ps3's demise beforehand based on the status of this system) and this is strengthened by the fat that the psp 3000 actually makes some games look worse. (The article's somewhere around here, it'll explain how Sony have become just so totally *#(@&@#%)
Oh dear me, my blog post has transformed into yet another rant on Sony. I really need to stop that, some will think I actually care about the outcome of Sony's horrendous decisions. Well good bye for now, I hope you all enjoy your games and systems.

I beat Final Fantasy 10!!! What a beautiful game...
Just wow... One of Square's best works, I have to say. I think I almost got as teary as I did during Ocarina of Time's ending.
But do you know what this means? Only one more Final Fantasy to go! I just need to play and finish FF 12, and then I can eagerly anticipate FF 13 with the rest of the fans! Though not as much actually, since its multi platform announcement will surely damper what could have been a very great game. But oh well, I've put the fact that Sony has failed behind me, and that the future of next gen rpg's is all but lost.(I just can't buy that other console, my situation doesn't allow me to)
Of course now I'm going to have to take a short break before playing FF 12. It's too early, and my lingering thoughts on FF 10 will interfere with my gaming, especially since it seems FF 12 has strayed from a few of the conventions of the FF series. I don't want to hate on 12 when I've just finished 10 and loved every minute of it.
So in the meantime I think I'm going to try my hand on the two Tales games for the ps2: Tales of Legendia and Tales of the Abyss. Which would you recommend I play first? And do you know any other top quality rpg's or action rpg's that should be played while I have the ps2 in my possession?
All in all things are looking good... if only I wasn't so hasty to purchase a ps3, believing Sony to once again be king of the rpg's! (where do MS come up with all the money to pay developers to abandon the ps3?). Now my ps3 is inside it's box and stuffed in my closet collecting dust. Well, once again I'll remember to be smart next time with my purchases.
Well, have a nice day all! I wish you guys nothing but good luck and a happy forthcoming Eid!

Happy Birthday to me!! And one of my better birthdays!!
So yay for me, I've turned 19 and everything (yeah I know what you're thinking, what's a 19 year old doing playing video games, but who cares) and this has been one of my better birthdays.
Usually September 2 always marked the day of or day after school starts, and that was a real bummer. My birthday was never a celebration so much as a reminder that school was about to start, and that the carefree summer days were over, so it did get a bit depressing at times.
Even though my leg's still broke I'm happy, b/c we don't have college for a whole month! The start of the holy month of Ramadan marks the first time that we've ever gotten the whole month of before attending schools and universities. So we're really going to be relaxing now, I for one can't believe my luck.
Well anyways have a great day everyone!
