It's a blog, a blog, a blog...muahahahahah
-
18Nov 09

Heylo everyone. I haven't blogged in a long time. The thing is, I've just been in one of those no blogging moods. I'd have the idea, hell a whole blog, the layout and everything ready to go, but then no oomph to get it done. It was going to be serious, but since I don't want to do that type of blog anymore, I figured music will do.
So here goes.
As the weeks and months have past, I have been listening to all kinds of music non-stop. You name a genre, I have checked it out. I am always willing to give a genre of music a chance. I'm open-minded, so when something is recommended to me, I'll check it out. So far the music I cannot get into are death/black metal, metal core, screamo, crappy pop (there is some good pop music out there, so hush) and really bad rap music.
I use Last.fm to record everything I've listened to. I joined back in 2005, but started from scratch in June.
So while listening to the music on last.fm, I've found a whole slew of music that I've gotten into. Soon they will be added to my vast collection.
So here they are:

With that stuff done above. I'll talk about the 3 albums I bought on Tuesday.
I grew up on him. He's also from around my way. I had been waiting since October to get this. It got pushed back and I was heated. Then I went to HipHopDX and heard 'Holy Are You'. Good track.
Now I went back to the site and they gave the album 2.5 out of 5. They obviously seem to be obsessed with beats and not words, because like I told my friend Chris, this album will go above people's heads and it did.
Rakim Allah is by far my tie for my favorite rapper ever. The other guy goes by the name of KRS-One. I've listened to this album 4 times already. I'll probably bleed it out by the end of the week.
I discovered them again through last.fm. So far this album s very good. It's nice hard rock that's not trying too hard.
It was just to complete my catalog. And it was a mere $7.99! You can't beat that. And there is a DVD included with it too. I've seen them live a few times, so the live stuff is nice to have. This game thing here, I must speak of.

It's licensed by SEGA, so it's not illegal.

Hey everyone. How's life treating you all?
Yup it's that time of year again. The leaves are starting to fall and I've had to resort to this
. I own quite a few, but I didn't think I'd have to start wearing these this soon in the Autumn. I plan on buying more though. It's an obsession I think, because I don't like to wear jackets.
The cat from next door
There is a new cat that seems to want to be a part of our family. The kids next doors kind of adopted him from the old lady across the street from them. He's a tan and white cat. We call him Surfer Dude. When I call my cats to come in, he just gingerly shows up and wants some grub. Of course as the animal lovers we are, we feed him. hell we feed the birds and squirrels and possums too.
He's taken a liking to me. I feel like I'm Eliza Thornberry at times because animals are so happy and trusting around me. too bad I can't them all in.
My camera has died
Mr Z as I like to call him, has officially died.
May he rest in peace and be recycled.
I'm on a quest to find a good one and I think I have. I'll just have to narrow it down to me wanting one with double A batteries or one with a rechargeable one that will suck ass in a year's time.
I bought 3 games
Hotel Dusk- Room 215
-I have been trying to get this damn game for a while. when I saw it at the local Gamestop near us, I picked it up. So far it is a good game with a hell of a lot of talking.
Sega Soccer Slam
-I have not played this one yet.
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009
-Yup I'm late. :p I'll be picking up 2010 next week too. I loved how the GS guy asked me to pre-order the game. (sarcasm)
Fist of the North Star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GameInformer said: Koei Tecmo just put up a teaser site for a new game franchise. The official press conference to announce this mystery game will take place on October 14th. According to IGN, the rumor circuit in Japan holds that the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors team is behind the title, which is actually a game based off the popular Japanese manga Fist of the North Star.
http://koeitecmo.info/new/
Let's hope it's good.
Movies
-Stay away from it. I couldn't even finish it. That's how bad it was. Lena Headey in all her loveliness and acting abilities could not save this tripe.
-What Pete (from Pete and Pete) is holding in his hand is right. That's what this movie is basically about. If you just want to laugh for the sake of laughing and going WTF from time to time, watch this flick here.
Ours
The title of the blog refers to the name of the song by this very band. No one I know has ever heard of them or even knows who they are. But when I got their first album as a promo (free stuff in the music world) 8 years ago, I became hooked. He (Jimmy Gnecco) has such a lovely voice.
Ours- I'm A Monster
Am I a bad guy?
Am I a bad soul?
My eyes roll backward
My head fell forward
We want the vampires
They want the daylight
Undecided if we will feel it
All the lies and fantasies I picked to deny what is right
as the lawyers lie down to the sound of a broken man clinging
to the legs of a butterfly.
We live to see our children die,
turn to the bright to describe what we never will find,
I'm a monster singing through the side of a left eye
And I will pay for, and I will pay for,
I couldn't have her,I couldn't save her,
If I could grab on, I'd pull the ......
All the lies and fantasies I picked to deny what is right
as the lawyers lie down to the sound of a broken man clinging
to the legs of a butterfly, of a butterfly
We live to see our children die,
turn to the light to describe what we never will find,
I'm a vampire clinging to the sounds for a fast high.
All the lies and fantasies I picked to describe what is right
as the lawyers lie down to the sound of a broken man clinging
to the legs of a butterfly.
I live to see our children die,
turn to the bright to describe what we never will find,
I'm a monster singing through the sigh of a left high.

There is a void in TNA and the reason is that the young lady in that photo above, is no longer in the company. Hopefully she returns.
Season Premieres
I watched more season premieres of shows that I wanted to see and could see last week and this week.
Due to my workout regime, I have missed Eastwick. I'm hoping for repeats the way that they do SVU.
Speaking of SVU...

That premiere was absolutely amazing! There were twists and turns at every bend. I had to watch it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. Wentworth Miller was awful. Everything he did seemed forced. Never have him back on my TV again please.
The fact that a serial rapist shows up years later to finish his work so to speak, was one of the most terrifying parts of the episode.
Olivia and her partner were great as usual. The way they had to solve the case was very interesting. The new ADA is growing on me.
Next was Smallville

Smallville was good. When the last season ended I was hoping that the dialogue would get better and it did. I liked how Clark is now in 'training' to get to use his powers. What I want to know is, why did we have to wait until S9 for it? Seriously, during high school and the entire puberty thing could have taken care of all this stuff. But I digress.
Chloe is still annoying, but in a good way. She's still pining after Clark after all these years. Why? Move on girl, he's destined to be with the annoyance that is Lois. Who by the way has become a better actress. Hopefully we'll get a new interest for her this season.
Oliver (Green Arrow) was playing into the bad poor little rich bad boy thing. It's played out, but he's sexy, so I don't mind.
The story was basically Clarke talking to his dad, Lois returning from the future after 3 weeks, a boring fight scene between Clark and some assassin woman and Zod.
Zod's military thing and the beat down that was handed to Tess was basically one of the best things I've seen on this show. Tess Mercer is just so good, that I hope to see her as a more prominent character in the show this season. She's evil conniving and is an awesome dresser.
The ending of the episode showing Lois and Clarke and other things was interesting.
Sunday I caught Desperate Housewives

It was OK. Each family has their own thing going on.
Mike is marrying the dumb one Susan. And the woman that Mike left for Susan, Katherine, has been relegated to deranged stalker woman.
Gabrielle's character is boring! That family blows.
Bree is having an affair with Susan's ex loser of a husband, Karl because her husband Orson is just a weirdo or something of that nature.
Lynette is pregnant yet again and that family blows.
Julie gets choked by some masked man and the new neighbor's son have a connection with Julie. The episode was eh. No Edie made me sad.
Last was Dexter

I watched it either last night at 1am or the other night at 1am. This is a great series.
Dexter the serial killer is now married (which I hate). He has not killed in a long time and after a bit of a mishap at work, he feels he must do it again. He's got 2 step kids and one newborn. He tells his little one he kills people.
While that goes on, his foul mouthed sister Debra, is dating some musician dude. Their chemistry isn't really there. I find her character to be too forceful, yet fun. She's on a quest to know more about her dad. It will be interesting to see how she reacts when she does find out stuff.
Angel the detective and his boss are having an affair. Who cares. They look awful together and thank God there were no sex scenes. It is fun how they are all googly eyed with each other during the episode.
There is a new killer introduced. Not a bad episode.
Paula Zahn will be back on TV very soon. 10.18.09! I'm very happy about this.
Our Lady Peace

The title of the blog is a lyric from the song 'Everyone's A Junkie'. I love this Canadian band. They always have some great songs.
Everyone's A Junkie
I'm not waiting for the answers
On a Sunday afternoon
I'm just too drunk to remember
Why I always slip through
The drugs and fake ambition
Have been helping me to hide
But it's the endless television
That has kept me inside
Where does it stop?
Where does it end?
Where do we go?
Why am I always complaining?
I can be good
I can be bad
I can be loved
But everything's gone black
You're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
Black, you're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie
I'm not asking for forgiveness
For the things that I don't know
But I'm really not that different
You just made me think so
Where does it stop?
Where does it end?
Where do we go?
Why am I always complaining?
I can be good
I can be bad
I can be loved
But everything's gone black
You're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
Black, you're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie
Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie..
Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie..
Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie
Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie
You're the big green monkey, everone's a junkie
Black
You're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
Black, you're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
And I'll remember this someday
Black, you're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
Black, you're looking for that sun
You're looking for that light
Lonely, you're not the only one to feel this way
Big green monkey, everyone's a junkie

This is just too cool, I had to share:

All they needed was for ONE man to beat him. God this movie was terrible.
Just One of the Guys

I caught this movie the other night. For me it was a fun flick. It revolves around a young female journalist who because she doesn't get her internship feels that she is not being taken seriously because she is a very beautiful woman. So she decides to do her own kind of research as a man. She gets help from her all too horny brother to teach her the ways of a man. Hilarity ensues. She falls in love and has to decide if she will tell the dude she's in love with that she's a woman.
It's a 1985 movie. I saw it in 87 or 88.
Totally Spies

This cartoon was based around 3 really girlie girls that become spies in their spare time. They are high school students who are really rich girls. The way they solve the crimes and things that they do are interesting.
It reminded me of Charlie's Angels due to how ditsy they were at times. Also instead of Charlie they had Jerry. He was a British dude who supplied all of their gadgets. It's a shame I never got to see how the series ended. Apparently they had a season 5 (they were in college) and they also had comics made for them in Sweden.
pete.

I've been listening to him a lot lately. I got their album for free in 2001. Apparently they vanished off the face of the earth after 2001. Not only is the album lovely, it was a refreshing sound. I really wish that they'd release something new already. I can't find any info on them for a new album.
Mike Quackenbush

This dude is one of the best in the indies. Guess what he's not an ROH guy either. I know, I know, everyone and their mother thinks ROH is the best thing ever. They are good but they are not the be all end all to indy wrestling. This guy is in another company (CZW. Shut up about it just being all about violence) and he is also is the co-founder of the awesomeness that is CHIKARA Pro. It's all about fun and Lucha Libre over there. I'm hoping that one day they'll tour in NY so that I can catch them like tell him how awesome he is.
Just to show you how deliciously cool he is check these out:
"Master of a Thousand Holds", Mike Quackenbush Tribute
TPI 06 - Mike Quackenbush vs Claudio Castagnoli
RevPro: Mike Quackenbush vs Super Dragon
And now he's going to be a part of this young upstart of a company heralded by Gabe Sapolsky.
So he is ONE of the few who can do many versions of the almighty PileDriver. He also invents his own moves too. He's very quick too.
Barkley: Shut Up and Jam
You know how sometimes you have a game that stands out more than most? Well this ONE does for me. People who know me, know that I am a diehard basketball fan. And I am also a fan of the PF position. I played that position in high school. It's one of those positions that is not really talked about much. I'm not sure why. It's gritty position. To be able to box out that center or that other PF and pull down that rebound or throw in that put back, is not easy. This game had it all. It had smack talk, the hard elbow shots, angry rebounding and more. why it was received so poorly is beyond men.
Remember my TV show premiere list?
Well I saw ONE show and my God was it awful!
Oh Good Lord do I want my brain and time and eyes back. I don't care if it was the highest rated show in CW history. the show was awful. The acting was terrible save for Ian Somerhalder. I refuse to give it another try. I hope my brain cells are better.
Thank God for Smallville on Friday. They might have the time of death slot. If fans really want to see it, show CW how much you care and represent hard for this show that has seemingly lost it's way.
Be well everyone! There was a theme in this blog, can you guess what it was and what movie is represented in the header?

-What a good band. I miss them on my TV and the C.lassicc rock station. If I have to listen to the same Beatles, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd or Hendrix songs one more time...
-BTW, that band in the photo is The Cult.
Books and Magazines
On Saturday, my sister and I did some errands and then we stopped off at out local gigantic Barne's & Nobles. I tend to go there on a whim, because their sales on books can be really good. We were there for a good 45 minutes.
After going around the magazine rack for a while, I picked up 3 magazines.
-I bought this one because it's a fun metal magazine. Half the music in there I don't care for, but it's still interesting to read about all things metal.
-I got this one because I like Tool. I wanted to learn more about the band. And man are they weird. I like that.
-I got this one because well let's face it, The Source sucks. There is no more Vibe right now and Right On! is no longer my cup of tea.
I also got these two books
My sister asked me why I got it. I told her, well I do have the Chris Benoit one. I should have his best friend's books too. Next up is to buy his (Eddie's) DVD. I'll start this one after my book about the Gnostics later this week.
I have a similar book about Weird People in America. This one looked interesting and funny. So I'll start that one soon too.
Music
As you have read the title, it's part of the lyrics to my favorite Doors' song, When the Music's Over. I'm a very big fan of the band. I hated that they got new singers, even though I do love myself some Ian Astbury. It's just never the same and never will be.
When the Music's Over
My Top Ten Songs Right Now
Alice In Chains- DiedThe Doors- When the Music's Over
Our Lady Peace- Life
Onyx- Getto Mentalitee
Eurythmics - Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves (feat. Aretha Franklin)
Ice Cube- No Vasoline
Tupac Shakur- Only Fear Of Death
Queen- The Prophet's Song
Da Youngsta's- Hip Hop Ride
Bob Dylan- Blowin' In the Wind
Cartoon of the Blog
This cartoon aired on ABC from 1997-2001.
It revolved around a young 7th grader named Pepper Ann Pearson and how she dealt with life. She had two friends Milo the nice guy and Nicky the girl who was great at almost anything. She had a single mom and her aunt was married to a cop. Her cousin was obsessed with cheese.
This show was very similar to my life in middle school. She daydreamed a lot and at times the show made you go WTF. The one boy she loved, liked her, but he could only tell her through his music. She never knew.
Cute show, but it's not on DVD.

One of the better guitarist around right now. And not a bad looking guy either.
No More Titles?I really think that I've run out of titles for my blogs. I normally end it with 'other things'. Maybe I'll start all over and say 'Blog 1...with other things'. I doubt that would last since my attention span is pretty much crap. Well if you have an idea for what a good title would be, I'm taking suggestions.

Speaking of music...
Guitar Lessons
I own 3 or 4 guitars. 3 were given to me and one I bought on my own. One is electric (Ibanez) and the rest are all acoustic.
The other day we got something in the mail. It was a mailer from my old alma mater (high school) and they have these Adult Education c.lasses. Well I was flipping through it a and bam right there at the bottom, 8 weeks of Guitar Lessons for $45. So next week Ill register and finally learn how to play the damn thing.
They'll be teaching us how to read the notes, learn the notes on the guitar, finger placement and all that good stuff. I've had guitar lessons before, but the girl was really impatient.

He is one of my favorite rappers.
Everything he says is either hilarious because you know it can't be true or you get a shock and say it could be true.
Where did all the boom boxes go?
I went to Best Buy and some other places and there was no damn CD boom box 3 or 5 disc changer anywhere. And where did this lady have to go? I had to go to the place that my sister and I had sworn not to purchase things from.
They had the one I wanted by Sony and we plan on getting it next month. Has it really come to that? Has it? I don't want no damn iPOD (I have to buy one for my sister). I have an MP3 player that isn't even compatible with my Vista. I want to listen to music on CDs you bastards. Give me my CDS!!!!
Wow I really had to get that out. I'm very passionate about my CDs. I have over 1000. It's not like I want them all on my computer.

STOP the re-makes please!
Rob Zombie is going to remakethis. And he's not going to re-make it with love, but he's going to not have it be the blob itself!
:My intention is not to have a big red blobby thing -- that's the first thing I want to change, Zombie said. That gigantic Jello-looking thing might have been scary to audiences in the 1950s, but people would laugh now.
That's what made it cool. It was jell-o but it was oh so scary.
Note to Hollywood, STOP killing my childhood. You've decided to re-make The Karate Kid into the Kung-Fu kid. What the bloody hell?; And that's just the start.
Here are the rest:
The Crow
Buffy (the cheesy movie)
An American Werewolf In London
They Live
Suspiria
Oldboy
Flight of the Navigator
The Warriors
Dirty Dancing
The Host
Let the Right One In
Alien

Hellraiser
My God it never ends.
I swear one day someone is going to go up to these movie people tell them that they need to stop this ****.

And so it continues:
Care Bears
Ah yes, the cute cuddly bears that when you were upset, they gave you a Care Bear Stare full of rainbows out of their bellies and into you. I have a few care bear stuff stashed somewhere. I also used to have one the lunch boxes from the 80's. They were so much fun to watch especially the movies. But man what the hell did they do to them in 2007. They look awful.

Oh, BTW, they also had their own comic book and they were greeting card bears before they became a cartoon.
Ducktales
This was an awesomely fun show on the Disney Channel. It too was based off of a comic book. My God was anything not based off of toys, comics and cards back then? Geez!
Well anyway, it revolves around Uncle Scrooge and his 3 great nephews. Donald had to go to the navy so he dropped them off at Scrooge's. He was so cheap, that in that huge ass mansion, the boys shared a room. I doubt it was by choice.
Then there was the friend Launchpad dumb-ass McQuack. That duck was a dumb as a post. He was an awful pilot, but he was always hired I assume because Scrooge was cheap. Then there was Mrs. Beakley who brought with her Webby, the lone little girls in the household.
We also had the designated Mr. Fix-It, the cool cat known as Gyro. Yes he's named after a food. He was funny though. He fixed any and everything. Doofus was the geeky friend who was clumsy and obsessed with Launchpad for some reason.
The villains were the best:
Magica DeSpell...
She wanted his Numba One Dime. That's the way it sounded when she said it. She would do anything for it. Anything!
The Beagle Boys were idiots.
They wore their prison numbers hanging on something around their necks. I guess it meant that they were prisoners forever.
And what always made me wonder was, when they would be in disguise, how come no one knew who they were when they had their tags right their on their bodies? Good show that lasted a good 3 years. DVDs are available.

The Flintstones
Very funny show. I always felt like it was the cartoon version of The Honeymooners. Fred was fat loud mouth dude who was married to a slim looking gal named Wilma who had a baby for him named Pebbles. Their next door neighbors were nice people. Barney was short and a jokester who was married to tall slim Betty who adopted Bam Bam.
The Real Ghostbusters
I ain't afraid of no ghost.
Funny show. The show really reminded me of the movie I saw. Slimer was fun and the guys did their thing really well. It lasted a good 5 years and it was in syndication the entire time. All the characters were very much like their movie counterparts.
DVDs are available.
GI Joe (the originals)
What better way to make kids want to go into the army than to make this cartoon? Seriously, think about it for a minute. They glamorized everything. They made it all look cool and all that good stuff. But I was not fooled, I did not go into the army, navy or any of those things. I did however wanted to just kick ass all the time.
The villains and the heroes were cool. I found Destro
to be the sexiest man on the planet. And he made me want to be The Baroness because that was the love of his life. He also had an awesome full name too...James McCullen Destro XXIV. They would have an endless battle against Cobra, Serpentor and other people. But the Joes at times always got the best of the villains.
The PS3 issue for me anyway
As a Sony owner of the PS One, PS One for the car and the PS2, I feel the need to continue my ownership for this company. I don't play into this system is better or not because my personal preference is just that MINE. I've told myself that I would not buy a PS3 until the games I want and play no longer will get released on the PS2. Ifigure that day migth come soon and I think I'm ging to hold out hope for a PS3 by Christmas. If that doesn't happen, then I'll purchase the PS3 some time next year.
The drop down price hasn't always been an issue, it's always been one of those, my PS2 library is not finished yet.
Hopefully with this price drop they will see their sales pick-up hevily just in time for the holidays. Smackdown Vs Raw 2010

While existing features like create-a-wrestler and create-a-finisher have received important upgrades, the big news for creative types will be the design-a-story mode. Using what looks to be a flexible set of tools, you'll be able to unleash your inner Vince McMahon (or, if you're evil, your inner Vince Russo) and design broadcasts of RAW, SmackDown, and ECW from the ground up.
That's interesting because they left out my inner Dusty Rhodes or my inner Kevin Sullivan. If I were able to remake the worst faction yet best at the same time, Dungeon of Doom, I'd do that in a hearbeat. Hopefully the game is really solid. Nothing, and I mean nothing will ever beat the 4 most awesome wrestling games for the N64, but this might do it.
THQ has stepped their game up and I'm just going to sit back and see what transpires because I play the game because I love wrestling and playing games. And I should know, with the amount of **** wrestling games I own (WCW games for the Playstation) then anything is s step up from that.

Avatar:
Who saw the trailer? and after seeing it didn't you jus tthink that the blue people creatures were the cutest thing ever. All this hype and I got blue looking fish people. If this film bombs, that would stink for Cameron and the blue people.
Wolfman:

I drooled watching it. The transformation of Mr. Del Toro was done so good. I really wished it was even more graphic. Yes I want mah GORE! Much like Sherlock Holmes, to me this is a must see.
BTW, it's HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another good actress. Guess her name.
Glad to know that my previous blog about cartoons that I loved has brought some memories. I have a bunch more too. Making these blogs makes me realize that really, really good cartoons, don't happen as much as they did when I as a kid. Thank you God for DVDs, youtube and video tapes!
Popeye
I'm Popeye the Sailor Man, I am in love with a woman named Olive Oyle who can be a real **** to me sometimes and I love myself some spinach.
This is a show that I grew watching with my mom. She still watches it today too. I loved the fact that it was once again bread put of a comic. A comic strip that is. He started in the 30's a part of a show and then with Betty Boop.
What I liked about him was his corny jokes and the fact that he always triumphed over evil. Bluto was a pain the ass to he and Olive. At times I actually wanted Bluto to get with her because Olive was such a **** to him. I remember one episode where she flipped her hand and went to Bluto. Then she noticed that he is Mr. Grabby Hands (we ladies know what that means and to an extent some men) she screamed for her love Popeye and he'd eat that spinach and save her and others. I did not like the baby, but his unle I think it was who ate the burgers was too funny.
He had a game, a really awful movie made about him and now he's on Boomerang TV in full color.
Pound Puppies

This was a cute cartoon that I recall actually made me like dogs. I'm a cat person and forever will be, but this show, which was launched after a line of toys, made me appreciate dogs more. you always learned something from it and I own a pound puppy myself.
I'd also like to say, they were a gang. They all had odd names and wore clothing that you as a human would wear.
The names:
- Cooler
- Nose Marie
- Bright Eyes
- Howler
- Whopper
I thought the names of my cats weird. They had villains who were OK, but not really scary.
Bananaman

This has got to be a show that most people I know has never heard of. When I watched it, it eaird on Nickelodeon. He was a hero that ate bananas and when he did he he became Bananaman.

He had his own comic strip in 1980. I'm not sure when it ended, but dammit it gave birth to a really fun show.
The Berenstain Bears
I read the books as a child, so when they made a TV series out of this, hell yes I jumped at watching it. It was really cool to see something you read come to life and not feel all jaded about it the way I am now. Also a fun fact is that one of the characters that appeared in the show, ws not from the book, but eventually made it into the books afterwards. How interesting is that?
Bionic Six

As a kid superheroes were always my cup of tea. I stumbled upon this gem back in '87. Well man what a good show. They were jumped by aliens or something and then they were in a radioactive coma due to it. Well what do you do when that happens?
You have a leader who is immune to this radioactivity, goes to his doctor
and boom, they each get some type of bionic ability to counteract the radioactivity so that they won't die. And now they will be able to make the world better. They had a villain, show looked like this
and was also the brother to the Doctor who helped save the Bionic Six from death. Such a shame that they would have to fight, but he is an evildoer, so he must be crushed!Sadly no DVDs are in the works. Curse you DiC!
Camp Candy

Anyone who has ever been to camp would understand how this show is pretty realistic in a sense. John Candy was a buffoon who tried to show the kids how to live in the great outdoors and failed at it miserably. But he looked so funny doing it. He also tries to get the kids to get a long and has a villain who is a rich bastard. He wants to kill the camp to put up condos or something of that nature.
The kids were alright. the smallest kid was annoying and wanted to give him a dropkick to put me out of my misery.
And of course, they spawned their own comic book series. Gummie Bears

I'm actually humming the song right now...gummie bears, bouncing hear and there and everywhere...that was a great intro to this fun show. The show was based off of the delicious Gummy Bear candies.
When you watch it you get a sense that they could be a friend down the street or someone you've seen due to the way they acted. They had really good human characteristics. I also wanted their gummi berry juice.
Much like The Smurfs, not everyone could see them. Only certain ones did. Cavin is the most well know one. When things would get bad, he'd drink Gummie Berry juice and he'd get strong. When the bears drank it, they'd bounce.
Very good and fun show. Gruffi Gummi (the angry one) was always so funny and mean. I thought he was really real, if you know what I mean.
DVDs are available.
The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show
You have to have been living under a rock or never read a newspaper to know who that human and dog are. Based on the comic strip Peanuts, we got this gem of a show back in the 80's.
Of course Charlie Brown would be the bunt of man a joke, was treated bad and would be the man on the outside looking in once again. I am waiting for him to beat the **** out of that **** Lucy.
Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers

This has got to be one of my favorite Disney shows ever! You had the two original little dudes from the early days of Disney Chip and Dale.
Chip is as always the level headed one and Dale, well Dale is just a goof, but means well. They have a great theme song and they have a detective agency. They have Gadget (because she makes cool ones), Monetery Jack (who has this affinity for cheese) and the stupid fly who never spoke Zipper.
They solved many a human and no human case. Thier villain was a bit of a knock-off of a mobster called Fat Cat. He had henchmen who were a lizard, a crackhead or pothead cat, a mole and a rat. I really think that the cat Mepps was on drugs all the time.
It was a great show that I felt could have gone on for decades, but they go killed. DVDs are available.
Dinosaucers
They are intelligent creatures that seemingly are in an endless battle with the Tyrannos. It was also interesting to see that the Tyrannos wanted to get the technology that they had. Apparently the Tyrannos were not as smart, but just really animalistic.
There are no plans to have them released on DVD. DiC has done it again!
Fun fact- Coca Cola owned the characters.

Alex shelley is so full of awesome.
As a child at an extremely young age, you don't hold or remember everything 100%. But as you get older to me, you tend to hold maybe 85% in. Saying that may get people wondering, what is she talking about? Well as I was making this list (and i'm not sure how many blog this will be), the first thing I jotted down were cartoons that I recalled that made me watch the shows all the time. Then I thought, hey, that can't be all that I saw right? I then went and looked at some of my collection and also the interwebs! *gasp* Some might say that I cheated and I will say, yes I did.

With that being said, I hope you enjoy the blogs and that it jogs your memories and brings a bit of joy into ones life.
The Smurfs

The show Smurfed it's way onto our tv stations back in 1981. I was only 2 then, but I recall it being in syndication in the 90's. And not that the joy that is
I can DVR it for as long as it's on.The show I think it either about a man that is so hopped on LSD, or crack or some other type of hallucinogen or the creators had an active imagination. Gargamel who is the worst wizard ever is always seemingly hungry with his cat Azrael. Tthey foil his misdeeds because Papa Smurf is a wizard in his own right.
At times I felt sorry for Gargamel because he was kind of poor and there was a reason why he'd steal the smurfberries and tried to cook the Smurfs. The dude was hungry man!
The show was fun and my favorite characters were Grumpy Smurf. He hated everything. I also loved Brainy Smurf. He was annoying assclown, but he was funny as all hell.
BTW, did you know they were a comic? Neither did I.
C.O.P.S.

Remember when liking cops didn't get you yelled at by people? Think about it, if you liked a cop now, you'd get an ear full about how one way or teh other, those **** are all crooked somehow. Thank you Serpico!
Well this show gave us some futuristic looking people in there. The plot is the basic, good guy vs bad guy story. And boy was it awful, yet fun to watch. Did it make one want to be a cop? hell no for me anyway.
They did have some cool names though:
Baldwin P. "Bulletproof" Vess, Hardtop, Mainframe, Mirage, Nightshade, Taser, CheckPoint, A.P.E.S., Airwave, Inferno and Powderkeg. they all had that cop feel to it.
Then we get the crooks' names:
Brandon "Big Boss" Babel
Doctor BadVibes and Buzzbomb
Buttons McBoomBoom
Berserko
Squeeky Kleen
Rock Krusher
Turbo Tu-Tone
Ms. Demeanor
Nightshade
WALDO
Nightmare the Android
Koo Koo
BullitPure crap with some of those, but man watching the show ws fun. 88-89. This was another comic book semi-based cartoon. This will be a patter.

Captain Planet and the Planeteers
"Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Heart! With their 5 powers combined, they summon earth's greatest champion, Captain Planet! The Power is yours". Is it really ours CP? I mean think about it. If those kids didn't have those rings, would be able to do all of those awesome things? And Mr. Planet you wouldn't be around without those rings!
I'm being sarcastic. This show I loved a lot because, I always wanted evil people to get there's. And these kids did it. And man were they corny while doing it. But we did get tob ask in Reading Rainbow's own LeVar Burton. He played the African dude. I liked his power of earth. You can do anything with that.
The villains were really mean too
. They were able to make there own Captain Planet. And he was known as Captain Pollution
. How awesome was that when they were able to channel the evil parts of the rings? And what the hell was up with his voice. He was all surfer dude sounding. Not only did this show teach you stuff, it made you chuckle as well. Street Sharks
This was one of those shows that decided we needed more animal human things to help save earth and stop evil doers from running amok. Supposedly it was also made create a line of Mattell toys. Yeah this sold a lot for them.
Why do companies do that. The show in it's self wasn't great, but it did it's job of having enjoy non human be heroes again. No DVD is in the works. Possible forever.
Mummies Alive!
What a really fun show. You had the stuff of ancient Egypt and Mummies! Also the premise was cool. Prince Rapses is killed, buthe has been reincarnated somehow. And when the killer of Ramses travels through time, he is on a quest to get that boys soul or body. I forget. Kind of a harsh remise for kids, but what is really.
David the Gnome

It was a spanish TV series, but it aired in English over here on Nickelodeon. The show revolved around David and his wife. They had cool powers that gave them the ability to telepathically speak to the animals. I dug this show so much!
Wacky Races

I am convinced that Hannah-Barbera ran out of for their other shows when they created this stuff. I watch it a lot on Bommerang and I'm fascinated by Dick Dastardly and Muttley. they had the lamest villain name for a car ever. Mean Machine...ooh that made me scared. It was so laughably bad that you just tuned in to see what would happen next.
The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest
Think about the other Johnny Quest from back in the day and then give him a more edgy and teen like persona, and you get this. This show I liked. It was really interesting to see how times had changed when you compare the older stuff with this one. I loved the virtual reality things that they did too. the show felt real and not forced.
Curious George

What an awful show now that I recall. But as a kid, I loved it. I'm an animal lover and the fact that the creepy man in th eyellow hat had this dude as a pet, well it was intersting to see what George would do. It airs on PBS now, but I haven't watched it.
Popples

This show was based one, you guessed it, a series of toys. And they had their own comics. Is it me, or do they make a comic out of anything?! They are just annoying creatures who bother humans. I have a popple actually. It's somewhere in my room. At times I wanted to punch them in their cute little noses.
Hope this has jogged a few memories for a bit.

Fantastic actress.
Hey Yo.
It's true, I'm still working on my cartoons list. I was going to put Anime in it, but I changed my mind. the time line has been changed from cartoons of the 30's - the 00's. Popeye has to get in there somewhere.

So for the time until maybe Tuesday or Wednesday, it will be all about movies. And then the games one and then the music one. I'll give my take on my favorite 100 artists (that includes bands, solo artists, instrumentalist, and all the goes with that) and also my favorite 100 albums.
Remember this is MY list. So critiques, hatred, madness, silliness, odd stuff will be welcomed. Enjoy.
Now on to the movies of my birth month (trailers if available will be linked).
August 14th
The Time Traveler's Wife
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-The concept and premise for the flick is interesting. The lead character has a disorder that allows him to time travel when he feels threatened. And all the while he makes it his duty to find the love of his life and spend time with her.
The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-The movie looks hilarious. The lead character has to sell every car in 24 hours on his lot. Will he do it? And how much fun will he have while trying to sell them? We'll have to watch it to see.
Taking Woodstock
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
District 9
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-It's all about those lovely praying mantis looking aliens. Or is it?
Spread
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
Ponyo
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
August 21st
-Anything Hayao Miyazaki does is visually stunning, has a message and is just really fun to watch.
Inglourious Basterds
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-It might be a re-make. It might not. But it looks like a lot of fun to watch.
Shorts
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-From the trailer, it looks like a parody of many a kids flick. But not a crappy parody.
World's Greatest Dad
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
August 28th
The Final Destination (Final Destination 4)
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-I like these films. Part 2 was my favorite. Hope this one is good. I'm sure we'll get a #5.
Halloween 2 (H2)
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-Who saw part 1? Was it any good? I'm not sure I'll see this in theaters. I love Rob Zombie, but he hasn't sold me on this sequel yet.
Big Fan
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-Remember the movie The Fan with Snipes and DiNero? I wonder if it will be just as crazy and good.
The Open Road
http://worstpreviews.com/...ailer
-Hey dad, mom's sick. I know you haven't been around, but she needs you and secretly I do too. Let's talk it all out on our road trip to see her while my fiance' in the back seat will listen to our bickering.
Alright son, let' s do it.
-Will they make it there and make amends? Who knows.
What I'm playing
I haven't been doing much lately. It's been so damn hot that doing anything made me angry. Even getting something out of the fridge pissed me off.- Posted Aug 9, 2009 1:43 pm PT

5Aug 09

Yesterday, my sister and I went back to where it all started for us in terms of our first wrestling event, Nassau Coliseum. We got really good seats too. We were able to see everything from where we sat.
Onto the show...
Dark Match:
*Jimmy Wang Yang beat Eric Estrada or Escobar.-As were waiting for the show to begin, the ring announcer told us that were were going to see the tapings for Superstars, ECW and Smackdown!
-Eric Estrada came out with his own entrance theme and he got booed out of the building. Seriously, booed. I don't think anyone even knew who the guy was. He cut a heel promo about being from I think it was Puerto Rico and did something similar to what The Rock used to do (inhaling the air) and then did a Goldust thing where he whispered his name. Good promo.
-After that, we get the music for JWY. My sister asked me, "Is that an Asian Cowboy?" I told her yes. I also reminded her that he's the guy we saw at ROH during the winter of death ride home a few years back. And she remembered him.
-This was a good match. Nice back and forth stuff that had JWY winning with his moonsault. Lots of kicks happened and Estrada hit a nice move that almost got him the win.
ECW:
Before the show started, the ring announcer asked for everyone to stand and show their signs so that they can get them on TV. I don't bring signs, and I didn't stand. Yeah I'm like that.
-Abraham Washington's set was set up. Ugh, I can't stand him and his lame jokes. My sister was wondering who he was. He cut the beginning of the promo by saying he liked LI. I told my sister just wait for it, he'll heel us. And he did. The 'don't rob' me thing was hilarious. He obviously was in the wrong town to say that, because it was the town next door that robs people.
Well anyway, Zach Ryder (who is from LI) comes out and he is so over with the crowd that it's crazy. We were all going "Woo, Woo, Woo" when he said it. Abe heeled him a bit and then he cut into mocking Shelton and then the Goldman comes out. He cut a good promo with substituting every bad word with Smurf. Good stuff there. Zach Ryder vs Shelton should be awesome!*Ezekiel Jackson won a squash.
-TV does not do this fellow West African justice. He is a big big man. And the skinny guy he squashed got killed! His Urinagi or whatever it's called, on the little guy was done so hard, I felt it. Kozlov got cheered. Big Zeke's entrance music is really good.
*Sheamus defeated Goldust.
-This was a fun match. After so many year, Goldie still gets love from us fans. He's in great shape too. I was also the only one who was yelling SOS for Sheamus. The guy next to my sister asked her, "who's Sheamus" in that kind of, he's a nobody sort of voice. Really good match too. Sheamus is really that pale and I love it!
-When he won and cut that promo, about looking for gold and all he got was dust, I liked that. After that, an attack from Goldust happened, the feud will continue. SOS is the man!
*Tommy's promo
-It was right to the point and no one cared.
-The hot-dog cart this was interesting. Christian's car door was a nice touch. When they started getting into it, the fans started chanting for tables. I yelled, "Shut Up, the match just started!" I hate that stuff. The table is meant to be used for impact, not to just be used for the hell of it.
-Weapons were used. The hot-dog spot where Christian got hit with the silver thing, you saw he did not block it at all. That was scary. The part with the crutches on his head was sick! And then the spot with the car door was fun. Good match and hopefully it's over!
*William Regal & Paul Burchill defeated Tyler Reks and Yoshi Tatsu
-When Regal came out, I cheered for him. You always cheer for who you like, so there.
Paul is the man and Katie, she needs to tell people how she gets in those pants. It's not humanly possible without help.
Reks got no reaction, none at all. Y-oshi got a lot of cheers. -Really fun match that saw lots of back and forth action. Reks needs to change his finisher, he might fall hard one day. I thought he was going to last night.
*WWE Intercontinental champion Rey Mysterio defeated Mike Knox by DQ.
-I was the only person cheering for Mr. Knox. The cheers for Rey scared me and hurt my ears. The fireworks are so damn loud, but it's fun to see. Ziggler is over too. Lots of cheers for him. When he came out, my sister said, "Is he trying to be like Mr. Perfect?". I told her no. She said that he really has the mannerisms down. I said he does the Sid Vicious hair thing really good too.
-Great match really. A lot of people like to say Knox isn't much in the ring, but they obviously have not been paying attention. Dude is good and he works really well with Rey.
*Opeining segment:
-CM Punk came out and cut a nice promo, but my God it was boring. I know what he is trying to do, but put some emotion into it. He sounded like a bad motivational speaker. BTW, he got booed out of the arena. I neither cheered or booed. My sister cheered for him because she liked what he said.
-After that the World Title match was announced. My God Jeff Hardy fans are loud. He got cheered so loud that I thought my ears would burst. All I saw coming into the arena, were little 8-12
year-olds wearing his stuff along with Batista. Eh, he's got fans, does it matter how old?

-They brawled for a while and Teddy came out. Then when he couldn't do anything about it, guess who came out? This man
. We all cheered him. He cut a promo on how Teddy is still on probation and that in order for things to happen in a good way, he will have an enforcer for the match. And he said, well I'm going to make you wait. Suspense......................*John Morrison vs. Tyson Kidd.
-The entrances happened and JoMo is popular. The Hart Dynasty got some cheers too. Natalya fell during the part where they put her on the ring apron. They'll edit that out most likely.
-When they announced it would be Kidd against JoMo, I salivated. This was one sweet match that had one botch. This stole the show.
*Charlie Haas vs. Slam Master J.
-No one them got any cheers or boos. So sad, since both are really good at what they do. Nice match for what it was. SMJ's music is hot.
*Dolph Ziggler vs. Finlay vs. Mike Knox vs. R-Truth in a four-way for a shot at the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam with Rey on commentary.
-When I saw who the contenders were, I didn't care who won since I like them all. Truth is so over with the crowd that it's a wonder why he hasn't broken the glass cealing so to speak. We did that "What's UP!" thing with him. I love my Sun Tan SuperMan.
-The match was really good. Lots of good spots and outside stuff. Ziggy won with his finisher on Finlay. After that Ziggy went to talk smack to Rey and ge got dropped for his efforts.
*Backstage Segment:
-Maria and Melina talked about Dolph. That's all we got. There were no ladies matches at all.
Melina's shirt was really nice.*Chris Jericho vs. JTG.
-Jericho got cheered very loud. I like the mash of the entrance themes. Cryme Tyme got loads of cheers. Very good match that had you wondering who will win. JTG won.
*Great Khali vs. Ricky Ortiz.
-Khali got the win in a minute. Kane came out and kidnapped Khali's manager. Looks like mind games will be happening,
*Jeff Hardy vs. C.M. Punk for the World Hvt. Championship with a special guest enforcer referee.
-Not a really good match, but it was decent. The guest enforcer was a great surprise. Why, because we got
. He got loud cheers. I liked how he didn't interfere until needed. Hardy won.-After it went down, Punk beat Hardy up again. Then Teddy came out and he said I hope you're happy. Punk said he was and that he wanted a re-match. He said OK, because you will get it, but in Jeff's kind of match. I yelled LADDER! But we will be getting a TLC match. TLC was chanted for a few minutes.

-After the match Punk came from in the back, and he said we won't be waiting until SummerSlam for a TLC match because tonight, I want you in a cage. Well we got a 2 minute match, Jeff hit the swanton and were were done. Punk was laying on the mat a good 15 minutes after it was over. Hope he's alright.

Screw "Joe is going to kill you". It should be "Kong is going to kill you" and make you look good while doing it. Kong is just that damn good. TNA got a gem here when they hired her.

I have gotten 6 new games for my collection.
They are:

I have yet to play the PS2 games, but I have started the DS game. It's fun and a bit weird. It's also a maze kind of game. The Zombie kids are funny.

I haven't been to the theaters this year, but I've seen quite a few movies last month though.
When Nietzsche Wept (2007)
-It's a movie based on the book of the same name that has Nietzsche get some help from a therapist. the therapist then asks him for help with the dreams he's been having. The therapist Dr Josef Breuer talks to a very young Sigmund Freud about what goes on in the sessions. It's a very good movie. Lots of great dialogue and big words.
Valentine (2001)
-This one is a nice horror flick that's also based on the book of the same name. I read it and the book was nice. Can I remember all of it? No. Well it's about a person that wears that mask in the poster there that is killing women. As you watch the movie you realize that there is a connection between said killer and the women. Very good ending too. Nice cast as well.
Heartbeeps (1981)

-I saw this as a kid and loved it. For it's time, the robot designs were great. Two robots find each other, fall in love, escape and have misadventures together. It's actually a heart wrenching movie at times. It stars Andy Kaufman and famed musical theater woman, Bernadette Peters.
The Number 23

-This has got to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. It had bad acting, over acting, bad moments and it just seemed to be everywhere. The ending is supposed to be a twist, which you know how it was going to be after like 20 minutes in.
The Women (200

-If botox were an advertiser, they sure would have earned their money here. I have never seen so many women's faces tat looked so fake since I saw some wax museum photos a few years ago. It saddened me because, when you look at the cast on paper, they are all gorgeous women in their own way. I honestly could not get over that which made the movie not interesting to me. It pissed me off really.
National Lampoon's Vacation

-I never tire of this and never will. It makes me laugh all the time.
Stay

-From what I saw, it was a brief 30 minutes, I need to see the full movie. I'm a big Gosling fan (MMC) and it will be seen by me.

-I had to take two of my cats to the vet last week. The little one that we got last month, (Junior Flash) well he had something wrong with his eye. All I know is that I fed him and then 3 hours later, I heard a loud shriek. I run down the steps and there he is, screaming about his eye. We find out that he had some ulcer thing that will go away. He's on his meds, cannot go outdoors for a while and is better.
My other cat Whitey, had some issue in her lower extremities and I found out she is allergic to flea bites. Well we got her on her meds and now she's fine, angry, but fine.
Taking a pet to the vet is really tough because you have to put them in that damn carrier. They both didn't cry or anything when they got to see the vet, but man did they cry on the way there.

-I'm working on another blog series. This one will be on animated stuff. It will be MY favorite cartoons. It will be around from the late 70's to the end of the 90's.

What if they rebooted it and we never saw parts 2 & 3? God I miss this man in good action flicks.
The Tooth

Cute little guy isn't he? He'd probably come at you and brush your teeth until they can't take it anymore. I've always wanted one of those cool brushes where they had toothpaste as lasers and you just shot at your teeth and they were clean in an instant. I drifted off there for a sec.
Sunday, my tooth (the upper right hand part) was hurting me. It hurt me so much that I had to take 3 Motrin just to try to make it go away. Then that didn't help it, so I took some other medicine. Note to self *never take that much medicine without any food in the tummy*.I was so loopy all day that it seemed as if I were how you say drunk. I've been drunk before, the bad drunk (I'm of age) and this was reminiscent of it. The bad part about is that I had a doctor's appointment on Monday (which was canceled without my knowledge) and I could not take any meds for 6 hours before the procedure.
Thank God I took the medicine at around 9am. I have not had any tooth problems.
The Bench
We got this bench in the photo above, for my sister's birthday last week. She loves to enjoy the outdoors in front of our house. She was on a mission on Saturday to put it together so that we could watch the fireworks display across the street from us. We worked as a team, which is hard for the three of us to do at times in terms of building something. It took us an hour because we had to recharge our electric screwdriver. It turned out great.
After that we went to Carvel, got some ice cream, sat and watched the fireworks. My camera died. He was a good one. Mr. Kodak version Z from 2006 lived a long life. I was unable to get some great photos which bothered me.The Trailers

-I plan on finishing it this week. I absolutely loved the dialogue and the way they spoke. It really make me want to go back and read some stuff that's similar to this.
-Shame on me for never reading the book. I could never find it in stock anywhere I went.

-I tried to believe, but I didn't. It was a semi-sci-fi movie spliced with some love story. Get that **** out of here. Give me the sexual tension and no touching and get back to the conspiracies and stuff I have enjoyed since I was 12 please (I've been into this stuff for a very long time before this show ever aired).
-The movie is so slow at times that you want o go up to the the director and shake the hell out of him.
Then you realize why it's so slow, so that you can be totally immersed in it.
-Mr. Damon plays the emotionless lead character all too well.
Well that's it for me.- Posted Jul 7, 2009 11:58 am PT

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This blog at first was going to start about the 2 graduations I attended for family friends. But after what I was subjected to with my eyes, I had to say something about this first.
What the **** is this **** supposed to be?
I was subjected to this everywhere my head turned. I wanted to yell at them and say 'pull your damn pants up!'. My neighbor, who's daughter was graduating, saw it and he turned and told us 'I just want to kick him'. I yelled out the window for him go for it! Has it come to the point now that if you wear jeans that your ass has to be shown like this photo up above? With that being said, this is not fashion, this is not cool, this is just plain dumb. And you look like an assclown.

It's official as my sister said, we are old. Why did she that? The Graduation I went to on Saturday was for my neighbor who we've know going on 15 years. We've known his daughter since age 2 or 3, who is I think 17 or 18, that graduated. We used to babysit her. While we were there, another person who remembered us from church, her little brother was graduating. We remember him from when he was in his momma's belly. Then we saw someone else. It was like a parade in front of us to remind us of how old we are.
It was fun though to see these kids all grown up and ready to go to college. Hopefully they don't party too much and do well in school.
I saw this movie last week. I had it on my DVR and decided to watch it finally. This was my 6th time trying to watch it and I'm sure glad I did. It had subtitles, which I adored.
Here is the plot for it: Persepolis is the poignant story of a young girl in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. It is through the eyes of the precocious and outspoken 9-year-old Marjane that we see a people's hopes dashed as fundamentalists take power--forcing the veil on women and imprisoning thousands. Clever and fearless, Marjane outsmarts the "social guardians" and discovers punk, ABBA, and Iron Maiden. Yet when her uncle is senselessly executed and as bombs fall around Tehran in the Iran/Iraq war, the daily fear that permeates life in Iran is palpable.
It is absolutely one of the best animated movies I've ever sen. You forget that it's animated and subtitle, because you become enthralled in just watching what is going one ecause you can basically figure it out. The way she spoke her mind was great. There is one scene where she is in school and the teacher asks if anyone has a question. She raises her hand and says what all the women in Iran were feeling. She basically talks about the double standard that has been imposed on women. That was one of my favorite moments in the movie. I also loved when she discovered metal, the Bee Gees, Micheal Jackson and others. Good good movie here.

-Don't watch it. It's awful!
Celebity Deaths
I found that when celebruties die, people tend to get upset when fans are deeply touched by it. I always wondered why. When you have people doing things to bring you a bit of joy or laugher or even anger into your house, doesn't that mean something ? Charlie's Angels was as cheesy as cheese gets and it lasted adecent amount of time and Farrah became 'the one'. She also did a movie called The Burning Bed (look it up) which is hard to watch, but boy was she amazing in it. She also made many a young boy happy. :p And MJ was great. He made some great songs, had great videos and set the bar high for dancing. Ed McMahon was a great host on Star Search. Billl Mays was an awesome pitchman and shiller. So even if you don't know or ever knew these people personaly, they touched someone in someway.

Mortal Kombat has vowed to be M-Rated again!
http://www.gamespot.com/n...tle;0
Well there you have it folks, we are going to get the gore and over the top stuff that is MK. Makes me want to throw in my GB MK game and play it again. It's slated for a 2010 release, but he's working on it.Thanks for the gormories...

Best Buy to test used game buyback system

http://www.gamespot.com/n...tle;8
Why let G-Stop, G-Crazy, Wal-Mart, FYE and others make all the money, when they can too. I like the Wal-Mart one where it actually tests if the game plays or not (it should come over here dammit).
The plan is for them to make money off of you buy putting the credit you get for the game on a BB giftcard. At FYE, you can ask for cash (which is less than a credit). Not sure if it will work or anything, but hey, money talks and **** walks right?
Screw you PS3, we might be leaving...says Activision
http://www.gamespot.com/n...tle;1
They supposedly are demanding Sony to drop the price on the PS3 or they will walk. I doubt they'll leave, but I do think that they may come up with a compromise and want more of a cut.
2 new wrestling games on the horizon

Not sure if anyone actually watches stuff that is not WWF/E, TNA or ROH related, but there is a little company that goes by the name of AAA. Asistencia Asesoría y Administración is the full name of the promotion. They've been around since 1992.
Well anyway, they've got themselves a videogame deal. And the teaser trailer looks really sweet. You can check it out here http://www.gametrailers.c....html. It's got the 6 Sided ring that TNA has adopted and it looks good. It's developed by the Unreal 3 Engine guys.
The other one is a game by the name of PWX. This group of wrestling fans that decided to make their own game. I've known about them for years and it's coming to the PC and 360 in a few years or so.
http://www.youtube.com/us...XDave
New addition to the family
He showed up on Saturday at 1 am outside and well he's found a home. His names is still being chosen. It's between Flash, Big Foot, Kitty Fantastico, Fiasco and Junior. I call him Big Foot.
TV Stuff-I've found myself watching the show again fro some reason. The show was awful in the beginning, but from late 2005 to late 2007, the show rocked so hard. I've always wondered why they never had Degrassi the College years. It could work wonders for people who are not 15 anymore.

-I watched the 2 new episodes of the second season it has left much to be desired. The introduced Mysterio without really a background. It's like he was just thrown in for some reason. That irked me. Then they had Kraven the Hunter, who's reason for being on the show is idiotic. I did like his transformation though. Hopefully the other eps are really good.
The Philanthropist
-It airs on NBC at 10pm tonight. I might check it out. I love the concept. And since Life has been killed on that channel, this one might make me watch it again.
I saw another movie
Live Nude Girls
-It's a bout a woman who is going to get married and they have a sleep over bachelorette party for her. The cast included a post-Mannequin and pre-Sex and the City Kim Catrall as the bachelorette. She is of course the naughtiest of the bunch. She also has cold feet about the marriage happening. Cynthia Stevenson (Dead Like Me) plays the weird friend who is just odd. Then there is Olivia d'Abo (Wonder Years) who plays the lesbian character who is dating the hostess played by some woman who I can't remember. Dana Delaney and 2 other people are there too. And Mark (Roseanne) plays a small role as the stalker boyfriend to Cynthia Stevenson.
Basically they share stories about their love lives and get into arguments some things.

The movies I saw:
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

I saw this movie at 1 am. It did not factor in how I felt about it and my reaction to it, because I was wide awake. With that being said here is my review of it.
I love visually appealing movies and really weird creatures, so this of course did it for me. Thing is, that's what this movie basically was. The action was great. Hell even the comedy was great. All of the spectaculars of Mr. Del Toro spilled into this movie as eye candy. The intertwining stories were good. I liked the Fish guy's (Abraham's) special powers. We all know what part 3 is going to be like, if they go there. Hellboy will have to man up and decide if he wants to bring damnation or not.
Anyway, you have the story that has been done since the dawn of time with outcasts. It's the 'If they won't accept me, I will make them by any means necessary'. That is exactly what Prince Nuada decides that since his daddy is not with him, then he is of course against him. He has a twin sister that feels everything he does and thinks. And vice versa. He goes on a quest to unleash the massive Golden Army. He needs a third piece of the puzzle from his sister to unleash this army of whatever they happen to be.On the way there, a love story develops and one continues. You of course have HellBoy and Liz (who have a volatile, yet special bond). Upon the saving of Princess Nuala, Abe (Abraham) falls for her and he vows to not have her die. The Prince kidnaps his sister and yada, yada, yada, Hellboy and his cohorts go after him and engage in the battle to save earth once more. Great fight scenes and special effects ensue.
The Golden Army themselves looked cool, but I of course with my imagination was looking for something else. The ending left it up to a possible sequel.

Sex and the City
What the hell was this ****?! It felt like I was watching the season finale of the show. What is with Carrie and Big? After all the crap he put her through, she still forgave him. Samantha in a marriage? Come on! Steve cheating on Miranda, not surprising. Charlotte was just there. She really wasn't an integral part of the movie, that's how she was in the series too. And who dressed these ladies? This movie just didn't have it for me. And now there is a sequel.
The best part of the movie for me was Samantha's entire ensemble of outfits. This lady can throw it down with those dresses. And also her next door neighbor was great looking.

Wrestling stuff:
He might be coming to the WWE. His name is Don Caras, Jr. Look him up and watch his matches.

WWE's stock dropped after this so called bombshell of an angle with Trump 'buying' Raw. As much as I absolutely love pro-wrestling, and at times McMahon's ideas, wrestling will never be where he wants it. The sport is still looked down upon for some reason, yet a lot of these execs are closet fans. I'll never get why McMahon wants the company to be so mainstream. He already makes a **** load of money off of tickets, terrible movies, great docs and other merchandise.
I also
so hard when other companies thought this was real. No one is taking this company away from him. It's his family's livelihood. It is not just a promotion/business to them. So in a way, his plan worked and then it didn't when people found out it was fake as all hell.
The KOTM match with the X Division guys should be great. Of course the Knockouts match should be decent.
Bow down to your new ROH World Champion. He is the first ever 2 time ROH World Champion in this company's history.

He died after a belly to back suplex in the ring in Japan on 6.13.09. Hopefully the person he last wrestled is OK mentally. A lot of watchers of just the WWE has never heard of him which is kind of sad. Look up his matches or even highlights. He was great.

My Gaming Update
-I'm at 74% and on my way to SummerSlam to defend my WHC (the best belt in my opinion).
I need to get 2009 this summer.
-I started playing it again and I'm in Tyre. I got to the Basilisk level, but as as true weenie, he ran away and now more obstacles to go.
I love it and was hoping for a DS sequel, but I guess it won't happen.
Music
-Her album should hopefully save R&B because well it needs it. September 1st it drops and I might buy a new album for the first time in almost 5 years. And that does not mean I download either. I just buy catalog stuff.
My life
-I got acupuncture done to alleviate my severe back pain due to that -bleep- car accident from last year, so that I don't have to take this damn medicine again. It didn't work, but it did help my mom, which makes me happy.
-We went to the doctor today and I'm going to get epidural shots. Am I happy, not really, but it has to be done. I go in on Monday. Hopefully this is the end of my paina nd no surgery will ever be needed. I'm praying hard.
I love you Phillip J Fry

US, June 9, 2009 (IGN) - You just can't stop Futurama. A day after news broke that the show looked to be coming back, Comedy Central has made it official, announcing they have picked up the series for an impressive 26 new episodes – thirteen more than originally expected.
As Comedy Central notes, this will mark the first true new episodes of the show in six years – though the four recent, straight-to-DVD Futurama movies were re-cut into 22 minute episodes.
Comedy Central will begin showing the new installments beginning mid-2010. An interesting note in the press release states, "Twentieth Century Fox Television retains the option to license the original runs of the new episodes to a broadcast network," seemingly implying there is a chance a network (though come on, it would be FOX, right?) could potentially air the new episodes first, before Comedy Central.
Says co-creator Matt Groening, "We're thrilled Futurama is coming back. We now have only 25,766 episodes to make before we catch up with Bender and Fry in the year 3000." Added his fellow Futurama creator, David X. Cohen, "We're excited and amazed that the show is coming back, perhaps due to some sort of mysterious time loop. We look forward to working with Comedy Central and 20th Television to make this the best iteration of the loop yet!"
Futurama mirrors another 20th Century Fox production, Family Guy, by its impressive resurrection, years after cancellation. Says 20th Century Fox TV Chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden, "When we brought back Family Guy several years ago, everyone said that it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing - that canceled series stay canceled and cannot be revived. But Futurama was another series that fans simply demanded we bring back, and we couldn't have been happier when Matt and David agreed that there were many more stories yet to tell.".....

Hi everyone. Hope all is well.
I'm excited. Why? It's because the Orland Magic have gone to the NBA Finals by defeating the team that had the best overall record in the NBA regular season in 6 games.
Next task are the LA Lakers.
People are doubting the Magic already.
I'll say JUST WATCH!

The stars play a couple who attempt to grieve for their dead child by living in seclusion in the middle of a forest. But their story does not end there: in the forest, they encounter pure evil in Satan. With Von Trier at the helm, ANTICHRIST promises to be a challenging, intelligent film that doesn't adhere to the conventions of cinema or religion.

The drama based is on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, which was cut short by Keats' untimely death at age 25. (WP)

I'm an 80's TV watcher, so I'll go see this.
Just a thought
I noticed that there are a lot more comic book/graphic novel films being made. Also there are a slew of re-makes and reboots on the way of old 80's flicks. I'm trying to figure out why Hollywood likes to do that.
I'm waiting for someone to get their own ideas like this creepy movie here Hiss. I watched the trailer and it was so creepy that I wanted to see more. Or this movie Grace where at a special filming people fainted from seeing it.
I'm not saying a movie has to be creepy as all hell, but it could be good or even looks good like this American Violet movie.
It's time for Hollywood to take a page from the indie folks and come up with something new and interesting.
Much like some music nowadays, movies need to be saved.Loved this Kupy Poster:

-Hey maybe the Holly vs Kennedy thing will happen? Only wrestling fans will get what I mean.

My jumping for joy thing will come shortly after I do this review.
Just bask at this:

I watched TNA Sacrifice today.
Here is my review:
Four-Way Ultimate Sacrifice match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship:
Sting vs. Mick Foley (c) vs. Kurt Angle vs. Jarrett- Not a bad match.
- It wasn't great and Foley needs to never wrestle again.
- Sting gets the win and he is now the leader o fthe MEM.
- Sting is a face...WTF?
- Angle did a cool spot with the Anglesault on Mick when he was sitting at the desk.
- Don West needs to GO AWAY forever!
Finals in the Team 3D Invitational Tag Team Tournament
Beer Money, Inc. vs. The British Invasion- I'm a fanatic for good tag teams.
- This match did not fail until the very end.
- Mush like AMW was, Beer Money is just that damn good.
- Don't sleep on the British Invasion just yet either because Doug Williams is in there.
- Don't know who he is, look the man up.
- Beer Money gets the win with a lame finish and Rob Terry **** up the ref spot.
- All muscle and nothing else much I guess.
TNA Knockout Monster's Ball match
Taylor Wilde vs. Daffney (with Abyss)- Throwaway match.
- Seriously, Daffney is apparently the new Roxxi (in the sense of hardcore stuff).
- Wilde, is OK, but I've heard she's better, just haven't seen it yet.
- The aftermath was much better than what the match was.
"I Quit" match for the TNA Legends Championship
A.J. **** (c) vs. Booker T- Please kill thsi feud.
- PLEASE!
- It's awful.
- And these two don't have much chemistry in the ring with each other.
- AJ won.
Singles match for the TNA Women's Knockout Championship
Angelina Love (c) vs. Awesome Kong- Funny match that saw Love be scared and take a big spot.
- And the miscommunication happens with Kong and Saeed was OK.
- Love retained, thank goodness.
- It will give Kong more of a reason to want her belt back.
Kevin Nash vs. Samoa Joe
- **** match.
- Pure and utter ****
X Division Championship Match
Suicide vs Daniels
- This match made me angry.
- Why, because I drool over Daniels due to his awesome skills and I get this.
- Whether it was Kaz or not, this match was stinky.
Lethal Consequences & Eric Young vs MCMG & Sheik Abdul Bashir
- Great match.
- Every spot was there.
- MCMG should be the TNA Tag Champs, but they need to stay in America more.
- Those belts looke like crap, not sure why, they just do.
- No team is more over than the MCMG and since TNA doesn't want to see that, they have them LOSE.
The show got a 6.5/10 from me for the tag team matches alone.
Now my jump for joy.
Rumor has it that the Black Widow is on her way to TNA on Thursday!
I am a BIG fan of hers. The lady can wrestle her butt off. I had stated when she retired/left the WWE, that she would make her way over to TNA. She is training to do MMA as well.
Now with that being said, the Knockouts division has been missing something. It's not even Gail Kim either. It was that one woman besides Kong that made you want to watch these women fight and wrestle each week.
Think about the match she could have against Kong, Saeed, Velvet and Love. Plus Sarah Stock is there who is by far one of the best female Canadian wrestlers right now. Seriously, I hope she i sused well and they don't have her win anything just yet. I see her as a member of MEM though.

Also these two men here

are returning as well. I love ECW and these two men helped that company out a lot. Hopefully they can do it for TNA again.NBA Playoffs

How many people thought the Magic would be up 2-1 besides me? Raise your hands if you're sure. I had talked to a dude on another site and he said that the Magic were overrated and that they had NO chance against the Cavs. I asked him how? He had no answer. I laughed at him as I am laughing now.
Dwight has fouled out and his teammates still won the game. LeBron cannot play 1 on 5 down the stretch of the game in the last 5 minutes. I don't care how great a player you are, that stuff wears you down.
This is a great series and I hope they can get the win in Orlando to go up 3-1. I really do. Imagine if Hedo was on point tonight...just imagine.
Watch these shows:

Iron Man: Armored Adventures
- I find it to be fun.
- Pepper's annoying, but hey it happens.
- Good stories.
- Good animation as well.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold- I like cheese with my wine.
- It's so cheesy and so much fun.
- No Dark dreary guy here at all.
- He even tells jokes.
- Funny episodes with lesser known villains.
- Me likey.
