The tooth, the bench, the trailers, the movies and ...

What if they rebooted it and we never saw parts 2 & 3? God I miss this man in good action flicks.
The Tooth

Cute little guy isn't he? He'd probably come at you and brush your teeth until they can't take it anymore. I've always wanted one of those cool brushes where they had toothpaste as lasers and you just shot at your teeth and they were clean in an instant. I drifted off there for a sec.
Sunday, my tooth (the upper right hand part) was hurting me. It hurt me so much that I had to take 3 Motrin just to try to make it go away. Then that didn't help it, so I took some other medicine. Note to self *never take that much medicine without any food in the tummy*.I was so loopy all day that it seemed as if I were how you say drunk. I've been drunk before, the bad drunk (I'm of age) and this was reminiscent of it. The bad part about is that I had a doctor's appointment on Monday (which was canceled without my knowledge) and I could not take any meds for 6 hours before the procedure.
Thank God I took the medicine at around 9am. I have not had any tooth problems.
The Bench
We got this bench in the photo above, for my sister's birthday last week. She loves to enjoy the outdoors in front of our house. She was on a mission on Saturday to put it together so that we could watch the fireworks display across the street from us. We worked as a team, which is hard for the three of us to do at times in terms of building something. It took us an hour because we had to recharge our electric screwdriver. It turned out great.
After that we went to Carvel, got some ice cream, sat and watched the fireworks. My camera died. He was a good one. Mr. Kodak version Z from 2006 lived a long life. I was unable to get some great photos which bothered me.The Trailers

-I plan on finishing it this week. I absolutely loved the dialogue and the way they spoke. It really make me want to go back and read some stuff that's similar to this.
-Shame on me for never reading the book. I could never find it in stock anywhere I went.

-I tried to believe, but I didn't. It was a semi-sci-fi movie spliced with some love story. Get that **** out of here. Give me the sexual tension and no touching and get back to the conspiracies and stuff I have enjoyed since I was 12 please (I've been into this stuff for a very long time before this show ever aired).
-The movie is so slow at times that you want o go up to the the director and shake the hell out of him.
Then you realize why it's so slow, so that you can be totally immersed in it.
-Mr. Damon plays the emotionless lead character all too well.
Well that's it for me.- Posted Jul 7, 2009 11:58 am PT

Pull up your damn pants!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This blog at first was going to start about the 2 graduations I attended for family friends. But after what I was subjected to with my eyes, I had to say something about this first.
What the **** is this **** supposed to be?
I was subjected to this everywhere my head turned. I wanted to yell at them and say 'pull your damn pants up!'. My neighbor, who's daughter was graduating, saw it and he turned and told us 'I just want to kick him'. I yelled out the window for him go for it! Has it come to the point now that if you wear jeans that your ass has to be shown like this photo up above? With that being said, this is not fashion, this is not cool, this is just plain dumb. And you look like an assclown.

It's official as my sister said, we are old. Why did she that? The Graduation I went to on Saturday was for my neighbor who we've know going on 15 years. We've known his daughter since age 2 or 3, who is I think 17 or 18, that graduated. We used to babysit her. While we were there, another person who remembered us from church, her little brother was graduating. We remember him from when he was in his momma's belly. Then we saw someone else. It was like a parade in front of us to remind us of how old we are.
It was fun though to see these kids all grown up and ready to go to college. Hopefully they don't party too much and do well in school.
I saw this movie last week. I had it on my DVR and decided to watch it finally. This was my 6th time trying to watch it and I'm sure glad I did. It had subtitles, which I adored.
Here is the plot for it: Persepolis is the poignant story of a young girl in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. It is through the eyes of the precocious and outspoken 9-year-old Marjane that we see a people's hopes dashed as fundamentalists take power--forcing the veil on women and imprisoning thousands. Clever and fearless, Marjane outsmarts the "social guardians" and discovers punk, ABBA, and Iron Maiden. Yet when her uncle is senselessly executed and as bombs fall around Tehran in the Iran/Iraq war, the daily fear that permeates life in Iran is palpable.
It is absolutely one of the best animated movies I've ever sen. You forget that it's animated and subtitle, because you become enthralled in just watching what is going one ecause you can basically figure it out. The way she spoke her mind was great. There is one scene where she is in school and the teacher asks if anyone has a question. She raises her hand and says what all the women in Iran were feeling. She basically talks about the double standard that has been imposed on women. That was one of my favorite moments in the movie. I also loved when she discovered metal, the Bee Gees, Micheal Jackson and others. Good good movie here.

-Don't watch it. It's awful!
Celebity Deaths
I found that when celebruties die, people tend to get upset when fans are deeply touched by it. I always wondered why. When you have people doing things to bring you a bit of joy or laugher or even anger into your house, doesn't that mean something ? Charlie's Angels was as cheesy as cheese gets and it lasted adecent amount of time and Farrah became 'the one'. She also did a movie called The Burning Bed (look it up) which is hard to watch, but boy was she amazing in it. She also made many a young boy happy. :p And MJ was great. He made some great songs, had great videos and set the bar high for dancing. Ed McMahon was a great host on Star Search. Billl Mays was an awesome pitchman and shiller. So even if you don't know or ever knew these people personaly, they touched someone in someway.

MK vows to be gory again, some TV stuff and other things
Takeshi Kaneshiro
Ed Boon said: People want an M-rated MK, Boon said. Dammit, we will give them an M-rated MK.
Mortal Kombat has vowed to be M-Rated again!
http://www.gamespot.com/n...tle;0
Well there you have it folks, we are going to get the gore and over the top stuff that is MK. Makes me want to throw in my GB MK game and play it again. It's slated for a 2010 release, but he's working on it.Thanks for the gormories...

Best Buy to test used game buyback system

http://www.gamespot.com/n...tle;8
Why let G-Stop, G-Crazy, Wal-Mart, FYE and others make all the money, when they can too. I like the Wal-Mart one where it actually tests if the game plays or not (it should come over here dammit).
The plan is for them to make money off of you buy putting the credit you get for the game on a BB giftcard. At FYE, you can ask for cash (which is less than a credit). Not sure if it will work or anything, but hey, money talks and **** walks right?
Screw you PS3, we might be leaving...says Activision
http://www.gamespot.com/n...tle;1
They supposedly are demanding Sony to drop the price on the PS3 or they will walk. I doubt they'll leave, but I do think that they may come up with a compromise and want more of a cut.
2 new wrestling games on the horizon

Not sure if anyone actually watches stuff that is not WWF/E, TNA or ROH related, but there is a little company that goes by the name of AAA. Asistencia Asesoría y Administración is the full name of the promotion. They've been around since 1992.
Well anyway, they've got themselves a videogame deal. And the teaser trailer looks really sweet. You can check it out here http://www.gametrailers.c....html. It's got the 6 Sided ring that TNA has adopted and it looks good. It's developed by the Unreal 3 Engine guys.
The other one is a game by the name of PWX. This group of wrestling fans that decided to make their own game. I've known about them for years and it's coming to the PC and 360 in a few years or so.

New addition to the family
He showed up on Saturday at 1 am outside and well he's found a home. His names is still being chosen. It's between Flash, Big Foot, Kitty Fantastico, Fiasco and Junior. I call him Big Foot.
TV Stuff-I've found myself watching the show again fro some reason. The show was awful in the beginning, but from late 2005 to late 2007, the show rocked so hard. I've always wondered why they never had Degrassi the College years. It could work wonders for people who are not 15 anymore.

-I watched the 2 new episodes of the second season it has left much to be desired. The introduced Mysterio without really a background. It's like he was just thrown in for some reason. That irked me. Then they had Kraven the Hunter, who's reason for being on the show is idiotic. I did like his transformation though. Hopefully the other eps are really good.
The Philanthropist
-It airs on NBC at 10pm tonight. I might check it out. I love the concept. And since Life has been killed on that channel, this one might make me watch it again.
I saw another movie
Live Nude Girls
-It's a bout a woman who is going to get married and they have a sleep over bachelorette party for her. The cast included a post-Mannequin and pre-Sex and the City Kim Catrall as the bachelorette. She is of course the naughtiest of the bunch. She also has cold feet about the marriage happening. Cynthia Stevenson (Dead Like Me) plays the weird friend who is just odd. Then there is Olivia d'Abo (Wonder Years) who plays the lesbian character who is dating the hostess played by some woman who I can't remember. Dana Delaney and 2 other people are there too. And Mark (Roseanne) plays a small role as the stalker boyfriend to Cynthia Stevenson.
Basically they share stories about their love lives and get into arguments some things.
