What I listen to everyday on the computer:

Batman:The Dark Knight has been seen (possible spoilers) and trailers I saw

tdk

-Movie was good.

-Definitely worth the $10 or $12 if you do IMAX.

-Bruce, Batman, Scarecrow, Joker, Gordon, Rachel, Dent, Two-Face and some Lucius Fox make a for a great film.

-It was dark, edgy and no cursing.

-I enjoyed the Joker due to his belief in his own insanity. He actually felt that he was doing the right thing.

-The fight scenes were OK, but my favorite part of the movie action-wise was the entire sonar thing. My God that was lovely. It was done so well. And guess what, I think it gets used in our real time too.

-Two-Face's transformation was great. There were traces in the film throughout.

-You could guess how things would and could happen in the flick. My bud and I were right 5-7 times of guessing.

-Look for a Zeus scene (this is for wrestling fans and if you've ver see No Hold Barred, you'd know who I referring to).

-If you know anything about Spawn The Movie, the guy who played him is in there too in a good tiny role.

-The mayor wore eyeliner. I pointed it out to my friend.

-And lastly my friend said: "Where the hell did they find Eric Roberts?"

-Honestly I'd see it 5 again times if I could.

A comedy about five actors who go on location and find themselves relying on their boot camp experiences when they get stuck in a real war-like situation.

-First off I ws wondering what this movie was about and then I realized it and it looks interesting from what I saw. ^

A complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, "Watchmen" is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen?

-Wounds sent me the link and and at first I drooled. Then I watched it again and I was mesmerized by Dr. Manhattan's transformation and powers. Then afterwards I told Wounds I wanted to marry the trailer. ^

Continuing on from the events of Casino Royale, Bond is once again on the track of the Lords Resistance Army.

-I haven't watched a Bond film for a decade. Yes that's how long it's been. Mr. Craig might make me watch it again, but also Olga Kurylenko who's in the flick, did her own stunts, so I might see it for that too. ^

-Yes remake #6 cagillion this century. Not sure how this will do though. ^

Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

-I saw the trailer and loved it. Then watching it again in the theater was sweet. I'll see it. ^

I got 3 new games and Jerry Lynn speaks the truth

My family and I took a trip to Circuit Citylast night to pick up an AC for my mom. It was so hot that when I filled up a water bottle with ice and water, it melted within in a few ours. Damn! I was sweating like a fat man in the desert or as my sister says a liar on the witness stand in court.

My older sister decided to treat herself to some movies and she got me these 3 games:

A TV show, a movie seen, movies to been seen (at home) and WWE L.O.W.

sdoacg

I've been watching this off an on the past few weeks. It always seems to happen at around 2am. It's a very good show. It's based on a young lady who became a prostitute without really knowing it. It all started when she had a one night stand with a man (who in the episode looked to be fairly older than she) and he gave her cab fair, or so she thought. Apparently as it's told, he gave her a wad of bills. I assume he thought she was a call girl/prostitute. She does have a Madam or Shifter as she called her. There is no pimp and I think she gets to keep all of her money.

The show has some comedic elements to it as well as some serious stuff. She (from what I gather) wants that one person to settle down with (she hides it which is eating her up). She tells jokes throughout the show and when she stairs into camera with a funny (huh?) kind of expression, you have to laugh. One scene that had me going was when her CPA asked her to become a Dominatrix. She stared into the camera and said something along the lines of "the things people do for pleasure". I honestly let out a loud chuckle because it's true. I had a friend who did that for a living for a year and hated the job, but loved the money.

smdd

I watched this past on Saturday and found it to be good. It wasn't even due to Supes supposedly dying (which of course I enjoyed); it was the story that got me hooked. No I will not read "The Death of Superman". A friend of mine has been trying to get me to read that for year. I enjoyed Luthor (although he looked like death had fallen upon him). His first and last lines in the film are the best:

Beginning: "Enjoy your reign while you may, Superman. For as surely as night follows day, there comes a time when even gods must die."

End: "It would seem you can't be destroyed after all, Superman. It would seem"

I disliked one thing:

  1. Why the hell did Lois look like she was 20 years old while Supes looked to be aged to his 40's or up?
  • That was just creepy (why because in the movie, they are dating).

A song I enjoy

Artist: RA lyrics
Album: From One
Year: 2002
Title: I Believe

Listen here: Ra - Walking and Thinking

I'm doing all I can... to separate your hate from me
It always seems to be the way you look at me...
That gives it all away

No one around you cares, about you or your sacred ways
They only see a sacred fist, they only see a bomb today

I believe in a world that can take you high
In a place where patience can prevail
I believe in a thought that can set you free
And the seeds of hatred always fail
Loud

In your mind you can't forget what evil has been done to you
It lives in what you say or do and dictates your reality
But your soul is clean, disinfected by your innocence
And while it makes no sense, you pursue a slave's insanity

I believe in a world that can take you high
In a sky where sunshine breaks the clouds
I believe in a thought that can set you free
In a mind that fears it's heartbeat
Loud

But you won't let go... because you're always right
And you won't say no, so you die tonight

I believe in a world that can take you high
In a place where patience can prevail
I believe in a thought that can set you free
And the seeds of hatred always fail
I believe in a world that can take you high
In a sky where sunshine breaks the clouds
I believe in a thought that can set you free
In a mind that fears it's heartbeat
Loud.... (so loud)

I saw some flicks and wrestling game news (there will be a lot of photos)

wdlha

I remember watching this before, but never really watching it. I caught it late last night and it's based around these 4 friends. The men are best friends. Jack is best friends with Hank. Jack is married to Terry and Hank is married to Edith. Jack and Edith decide to have an affair. Then they set up their husband and wife to do the same, but for some reason Jack gets upset and Hank does not. Terry decides she won't do it anymore, but Jack is in love with Edith. Eventually they all find out and "work" things out. The end of the movie is a shocker, but very good. I enjoyed it.

tbh

I've seen this movie over 100 times. I know the movie line by line. Phyllis Neffler must become a scout leader for her pampered Beverly Hills friends kids and her daughter. Hilarity of course ensues when they try to be wilderness girls.

Best scene is this:

I made a video, wrestling stables/factions I enjoyed and a peculiar news article

I made this video on July 4th of this year. I had to stop watching SD (that could be why they got a supposed 1.6 rating). This was all done with my digicam. It's a Kodak z700 and it looks like this: z700. We bought a 2GB card which allows me take up to 5 minutes of vdeo stuff.

The voices you hear are my, sister, people around us and myself.

------

Oh how I love wrestling factions or stables as they are called. But everytime I hear the word stables, I think of horses, cows, chicks and what have you.

Here are some my favorites.

rf

Remember when they first started to form on WCW? (Yes I know Raven originated it in ECW) It not only was one of the best angles and storylines for wrestling, it also took a bunch of supposed nobodies (excluding Raven of course), and put them on TV and allowed them to showcase whatever talent they had. The thing about this faction was the fact that Dr. MindBender (That's wha tI love to call Raven) was able to convince these dudes to follow his lead, put on some jeans, get out of those tights there would wear and give them the personalities tha tthey never had before that faction formed. It was a very interesting turn of events that followed. I enjoyed them a lot.

dod

Ah yes one the worst yet fun factions to watch in action. Who could forget The Taskmaster and his promos on how much he wanted to end Hulkamania. Remember how the Master had that promo, oh god that promo was terrible. I liked it because as a fan, you want to see soething new. And with Mr. Sullivan seemingly always being a heel, he played the part perfectly. And this was his starting line-up of people his his faction: The Shark, Kamala "The Ugandan Giant", Zodiac, The Barbarian, and Meng. Too bad they only lasted 2 years, because if they had gotten younger talent mixed in, they could have lasted longer. I enjoyed them just due their utter shear massive madness of epic proportions.

tb

The Brood. During this time in the wrestling era that was the late 90's, the WWF as they were named at that time, needed to put some spark back in their show, so they hired a man who thought he was a vampire and would do bloodbaths on people in his matches. He had 2 young dudes with him. Christian on the right (who looked like Lestast in that shirt) and Edge on the left (who always looked like he didn't belong). Why did I like them? They were vampire loving people, they looked evil, and their entrance was the bomb. Also E&C had some sweet finishers as well.

nhf

Angry Canadians and Brits make for good TV in wrestling for some reason. I absolutely loved this version on teh Hart Foundation, because not only could all these guys put in down in the ring (yes even Anvil, watch him dammit) and they could cut great promos. Yes great. Brian Pillman of course owned them all in my view. their heat with Americans and Vince and Shawn and what have you was just awesome. When you make a stable/faction liek this, you need each person to not overshadow the other and this is how it should be done. It's a shame 3 out the 5 of them are no longer gracing us with their presence.

mod

The devlish Satanic Undertaker and his minions was yet another evolution of his character. He's probably changed his character more than his underwear. I see this stable as a step in the direction of great dark angles that was cut too soon. Their mission (not sure what it was) got the job done in more ways than none.

tnctnc

Most people whonever saw TNA in it's heyday before it got that sweet SpikeTV deal might not know who these people are. They are called The Dicsiples of The New Church. Their quest to end Shamrock, Raven and just TNA basically as a whole. Not only were they just evil, they just went in and decimated who it is that they wanted to without asking questions.

tr

The Radicalz as they were called when they first showed up on WWF RAW is WAR way back in 2000. This doesn't always happen much, but it culminated into the joy thatis wrestling. They all had on street clothes and all that good stuff. They were being held back in WCW. All 4 very close friends decided to leave together for better things as a whole. You had the charisma and Lucha wrestling ability of the late Eddie Guerrero, the straight old school ****of wrestling from Mr. Malenko, the odness yet sweet sweet Martial Arts stuff from Saturn and the stuff from he shall not be named all made for good TV. They seemingly brought wrestling back to the then WWF that was just spending around an hour talking and doing jokes for some time.

So suffice to say this is part 1. I will leave the obvious ones for part 2.

Mercedes-climbing goat, dog picked up by cops

updated 7:55 p.m. ET, Mon., July. 7, 2008

CAPSHAW, Ala. - The goat was arrested, the Mercedes-Benz was assaulted and the dog came along for the ride.

It happened Sunday when a woman driving the Mercedes saw a goat and dog playing on U.S. 72 in northern Alabama, Sheriff Mike Blakely said.

She stopped, afraid they would get hit, Blakely said. But the goat jumped on the car and wouldn't come down. Fearing scratches and dents in her import's paint job, she called the Limestone County Sheriff's Department. A deputy got the goat down and put it in his patrol car, but then the dog jumped into his back seat too.

The deputy took the dog to a veterinarian and the goat to the home of another deputy.

"If anybody is missing a goat and dog, they need to let us know," Blakely said.
