It's great!!

Strike is now over and tonight we get a new episode of CSI.
I know I haven't been here for a while....to tell the truth, I haven't been watching much tv since the strike and now that it's over, there are just a select few shows that I will continue watching. I've come to realize that I watch too many shows and I actually kind of lost interest in some of them.

At least I was able to entertain myself watching my Portuguese shows during the strike, and now I seem to be more concentrated on them now (just look at the videos I have on my youtube account)

Anyways, I think I've about finished for now. Basically, I just wanted to say that I was happy that CSI is now returning.

Oh and I hear WP has sighned for next year. I think it's great. And honestly I don't care if people think that he's just coming back for the money, as long as we still have CSI. And for those who say "He should have known he had to be concentrated on the role and not to want to do other stuff" or whatever the wording may be, I just say this to you.....It's been 8 years since CSI started! How was he supposed to know it would last that long, and once you play a character for that long, it may sometimes get to you or for some people, they get bored with it if they don't get a chance to do something else once in a while.

So I say STOP COMPLAINING about it and be happy we'll get Grissom back next year.

So it's been over a week since anyone's seen my cat

I have come to terms with the fact that he will not be returning home, although I will always carry a tiny glimmer of hope of his possible return because I have no clue what happened, i don't even know whether he's gone to kitty heaven or not

At least with my last cat, I knew he had gotten run over by a car so I knew he was not coming back, but not with this one

My brother's pretty sad about it
Everyday he asks whether or not we've seen the cat and I even find myself looking around outside every time I'm leaving or coming home
It's kinda sad really, my brother had been slightly more irritable and generally mad when he first went missing, but he's been slowly been getting better with the situation

Anyways.....
Rest in Peace my poor kitty, wherever you may be.... You will be missed

Well I've been away from here for close to 2 weeks

I didn't go anywhere, mind you, I've just been busier than usual. It might be partially because there haven't been any new episodes of CSI this past month, but mostly because I'm a manager now and I had some extra things to do in order to be a certified manager.

I've been doing Servsafe online (that's like a food safety course) and just last week I went to Head Office to do my First Aid and CPR training. So if any of you ever need a bandaid or the heimlich (sp?), then I'm your woman

Anyways... what else happened...oh yeah, I got an ipod video yeah I feel cool now

I wasn't planning on getting one though cuz I have an mp3 player so I used it to listen to music, but then I started watching NCIS cuz CSI wasn't showing any new eps anymore. I got all the other seasons and started watching them on my computer and started thinking how much faster I would get through them if I would be able to watch it during that time I spend on the bus on my way to school. Then it hit me, ipod video.

I gotta tell you this thing is so cool. I got my CSI and NCIS on there, I got music videos, and a whole bunch of songs and it even has solitaire so I can play it while listening to music.

To be honest, I was always skeptical of the whole ipod thing. The way I saw it was that it just played songs (this time I'm referring to the regular ipods) and my little mp3 player could do that too. But I have seen the light and come to my senses. IPOD VIDEO rules ....but not more than CSI

CSI number 1 all the way.

Only problem I have is that the Canada itunes store doesn't have tv shows available so I download the shows, convert the files then put them on my ipod (I'd probably do that either way, but let's just pretend )

I am so very sorry for boring you with my rambling, but it's my blog and that's what it's for. It's for my rambling and random irrelevant thoughts. I could talk about flying purple monkeys, not that I've ever seen any, but there was that one time.........oh never mind, I must've been high on some cough syrup or something

YAY FOR CSI!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

GSR!!

okay i got a bit of a rant to do here so bear with me

so...there's this whole controversy surrounding GA and the incident concerning Isaiah Washington and his co-stars

for those of you who don't know about it....

apparently back in october, Washington made a comment using the word "f*gg*t" directed towards a fellow co-star and it didn't go well with the rest of the cast and there was some sort of confrontation between him and Dempsey

later Knight ended up coming out of the closet to his cast members and there was this huge thing that stirred up cuz of it placing blame everywhich way for his confession

anyways, appologies were issued, all was forgotten and done with somewhat, then Washington uses that same word again this year at the Golden Globes while trying to deny that previous incident and now there are daggers flying everywhere again

this whole controversy started up again and now there's this whole thing of "will we or won't we fire him"

this is where my beef comes in

i understand that Isaiah's comments were inappropriate and it brought up issues that were thought to have been dealt with by now but obviously not

what i don't understand is why they are making such a big deal out of it

don't get me wrong, i'm not condoning him, the problem i have with this situation is that, in my opinion, ABC is somewhat maybe using this unfortunate controversy to somehow stir up more publicity for GA

they keep saying they will discipline him accordingly, and there are even rumours that he might even lose his job over this

the way i see it is, if they're gonna fire him, then do it already and get on with it

if not, then i see no point in carrying on with this issue, it'll just create more animosity than there already is, it would be best to just drop it once and for all

even though this might create some negative publicity for GA, let's face it publicity is publicity whether it's negative or not

as long as this issue keeps itself in the headlines, it'll still be publicizing the actors of GA and the show itself

i bet that if this happened on the set of any other little show, it would never cause an uproar of this magnitude, but since it happened on the set of one of the most watched shows, it's all of a sudden become a huge deal

i hope i'm not coming across as insensitive cuz i understand how the situation might get people agitated
i happen to have some gay and bisexual friends whom i think are incredible people so don't take me the wrong way

i actually like watching GA, but i just think ABC is just using this situation for their own personal gain and by prolonging their decision on what they're going to do with this actor, they are just dragging it on unnecessarily

if you're gonna fire him then go ahead and do it once and for all, if you're not then don't and make your decision and put and end to all of this once and for all, stop dragging it along

so that's what i think
i could also be wrong about it but i don't care cuz this is my blog for a reason
i write what i'm thinking and people can either agree or disagree with me

yes i do realize it's about 9:30 but it's morning to me.....i just woke up a little while ago

ever since i started working nights i can hardly tell what day or time of day it is and when i'm having a conversation with some of the morning people near the end of my shift and i'm telling them a story of something that happened to me on a specific day i get confused as to whether it was yesterday, today, 2 days ago and such

but oh well....just one week of overnights left then it's back to my regular sleeping schedule

it's actually not that bad working nights
the bad part is i'm up all night and sleep all day leaving me limited time to come on here

which leads me to say I HAVEN'T BEEN HERE IN AGES!!!!! and i miss everyone at the CSI board

i've missed so much especially the opening of GSR Club #25

well, i just felt like making a blog just for the sake of it
this isn't much of an exciting one but whatever

so tomorrow we get a new ep of CSI....i just can't wait for it

but unfortunately, after CSI i usually come on here and like to discuss the episode or just squee with happiness for the new GSR moments but i won't be doing it anymore

starting yesterday night i took over being the overnight manager at work, well i did it yesterday and my position became official as of today and now i'm the new overnight manager...well, at least until January cuz that's when i'm gonna be going back to school

but i don't think it'll be that bad cuz from what i saw on the tvguide here is that next week is a rerun and i think that tomorrow is the last new ep until January so it all works out for me

then again... i could be wrong about that so don't take it from me

anyways, i'll be going now

and that got me thinking.... this is probably how the team feels like when they get off work, they don't really have a sense of what time of the day it is

it's GSR of course and i actually had it in mind for a while when i was listening to the song and i could actually picture the clips as that would be playing while the song was going on

but i hadn't made it till today cuz i had no idea how to make one until someone said that i could use windows movie maker

now i can make as many as i want....not that it would be many

today has been going good so far

yes i know it's only like 10:40am or something, but i've been up since 6 so it's been a few hours

i just got back from court and i'm so happy cuz my speeding ticket got thrown out

i got it in july of 2005 and since it had been over 1 yr the guy i hired to go for me had filed an 11b which is pretty much a request to have it stayed since so much time passed, but for that i had to be present

so i went, i was there for like 5 mins then left

the guy did all the talking, all i had to do was "state my name for the record" and that was it

my ticket is nonexistent and that's just the way i like it 

anways, enough of my ramblings

go GSR and hooray for CSI!!!!!!

too bad today there is no new ep this week 

but at least House returns next week so that means i got something to do on Tuesdays again

oh just in case you're wondering, i'm talkin bout my computer

it had a problem that needed some fixin but today they called and told me i could pick it up cuz it was fixed

although i still wish i would've gotten it yesterday cuz then i could've had CSI recorded on there so i could watch it over and over

but it's ok now, i downloaded the ep and i'm actually watching it as i type right now 

my old computer was starting to annoy me cuz it was kinda slow and it would't allow me to download the ep and do other stuff at the same time cuz it's 7 yrs old and slow but at least it served a good enough purpose while my other one was gone

anyways i'm off to pay attention to my fav scenes of the ep *cough* GSR *cough*

Well this doesn't really have a purpose. Well maybe it does, it's more to vent my frustrations.

Anyways, I know nobody's perfect, much less me, but when there are people who post (I'm refering to one in particular) cannot spell half of the words they're writing, it really, really annoys me. Makes me wanna get them a dictionary or better yet spellcheck or something.

I know I make mistakes and alot of people do too, but when you have 1 out of 50 words spelled right it gets very frustrating, especially if what you are doing is insulting people cuz they do not agree with you.

Yes, people, I am refering to an infamous friend of ours over at the CSI board.

I don't really care what this said person writes cuz we're all entitled to an opinion, but I am frustrated when this said person writes nonsense (cuz that's what I think it is, therefore I do not pay attention or care for it) and mispells every other word of it in the process.

Okay, end of ventilation. I feel much better.

September 21 is almost here. Just 10 days 21 hours and 6 minutes left until the season 7 premiere of CSI. Woot woot!!

Can't wait till Thursday. I so love Thursdays.

Anyways, I still can't believe it's already September. It seems like just yesterday it was July. Summer just went in a flash and now it's back to school and back to work already.

Well hello everyone!!

I'm finally back from my vacation. I gotta say I had lots of fun, so much that I wanted to stay another week. Maybe that was just my subconcious wanting to stay due to the fact that time seemed to pass so much faster and that would mean it would be closer to the start of season 7 of CSI.

I sure missed everyone on the CSI board, especially the GSR nuts (no offense meant to anyone cuz i'm one too ).

well, i'm gonna be gone for 6 weeks with no computer *gasp*

i would've gone through some CSI withdrawal but happily i say that i won't cuz i'm bringing my DVDs with me so whenever i want i can watch CSI

i even have the books as well just in case

and besides i'm pretty sure they give CSI in Portugal too so that's even better

on another note, something funny happened today (well it's funny in a sense)

i had all my stuff in my bag and as i was zipping it up i noticed there was something weird goin on

i go take a look and, low and behold (not sure if that's the correct expression), my zipper got unstitched from the actual bag part

so  now my mom has gone to some store to go buy me a new one so that's means i'll have to transfer everything  from that bag to the new one

it'll be like repacking all over again

anyways i'll be leaving now cuz i got to double check to make sure i have everything i need

i will miss you all, especially all of you at the GSR Club

Portugal won again and by the looks of it they've made it to the next round for sure whether or not they loose the next match.

Right now it's pretty crazy cuz all us porkchops (nothing derrogatory intended.... i am one too ) are out on the streets with our flags honking our horns like the crazy people we are.

Mentioning crazy, it reminds me of my fellow GSRers (if that's even the way to say it). Heck, if GSR had an official flag, I just might be crazy enough to go partying with it. Now that would earn me a whole lot of strange looks from total strangers. It gives me the giggles just imagining what they're faces would look like.

Here I am sitting at home with nothing to do hoping it was September already cuz then we'd be having a new CSI episode tonight rather than a repeat.

But to pass the time away I'm watching my DVDs from the previous seasons.

It's just about summer and that means fun and games in the sun, but also reruns with just about every show.

I used to have a system. I'd have at least one show to watch each day of the week and now I have none. Well they're still on but it's reruns.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to bear it for another 2 months. Luckily, I'm going on vacation in July and will be too busy partying to notice it much.

But until that time arrives, I got one question:

"IS IT SEPTEMBER YET?" LOL
