  Graduated!

  My high school graduation was Friday, so I'm officially done with high school... What a relief!
  This August I'll be going up to North Carolina for college, then from there, who knows what!

  

  I know I'll be headed to the beach a lot this summer...

  SAT's

  Got my scores back from taking it my junior year.

  My reading & writing scores were 590 a piece.
  And my math score was a 660.

  Making 1840 altogether, or 1250 for just the original two scores.

  Supposedly this is a good enough score for my college of choice, but I'm going to take it again next year because, hell, if this is my first time taking it, I should be able to do better my senior year.

  So I Downloaded Nas' Untitled Album Today

  
  
  

  It leaked 2 weeks early, and I must say, it's every bit as amazing as I thought it would be...
  This album is c lassic in my eyes, and of course, I'm going to purchase it when it officially drops to show my support.
  My favorite songs... probably Hero, America, and Black President.

  It's hard to say though, strictly a no-skip album in my opinion.
  I'd recommend this easily; album of the year for me.
  Obviously, if Nas or rap music isn't your thing, you probably shouldn't take my word for it, buteven so, it's worth a listen.

  Level 21!

  I figured I'd commemorate this achievement seeing as how it takes three centuries to go from level 20 to level 21.

  A Pretty Random Blog...

  Where to start:

  First, I skipped level 16 overnight and went from 15 to 17. Wooo..

  Lupe Fiasco's "The Cool"; if you like rap... real rap... you need to purchase this album one way or another. It's ingenious
  

  The Tar Heels are still ranked 1 in college basketball, and they're 12-0. I smell a championship!
  

  Now, I'm bummed because I have to send my Wii in for repairs to get rid of these dreaded DRE's I'm getting I had 71 stars in Super Mario Galaxy and was cruising through Fire Emblem and Metroid Prime 3 too. But it won't read Metroid at times, and Geometry Wars it won't read at all!!!

  I would go out and buy Zack & Wiki, but what's the point, I won't be able to play it for a couple weeks!
  Guess I'll be playing Counter-Strike, Command & Conquer, and the Orange Box until I get it back.

  I think I need to make a banner image, because that plain black ain't doin' it for me...
  Maybe something to match my blog header... Maybe put some Tekken, Fire Emblem, and Street Fighter up there... Oh, and Resident Evil! Definitely Resident Evil...

  I got AMF Bowling for Christmas, and I can tell you that Wii Sports Bowling is better... significantly better might I add, but hey, it's a Christmas gift, what kind of person would I be to complain!

  I don't think I've ever had this many games on a console that I've had for only a year. I mean... I have 11 Wii games, then Wii Sports, and 11 Virtual Console games... pretty cool. Most of them fun.

  Hmm.. I never beat Elebits... I should get on that when I get my Wii back.

  I guess that's it for now... it's not often I get to do random blogs like this one! But something's missing...

  Getting some 2D Fighters

  

  Well, I've decided to go back and buy all... well... not all
  but a bunch of the 2D fighters I missed on the PS2.
  And there are a lot of 'em.
  
  Street Fighter Anniversary Collection and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core being two that I really want. Maybe King of Fighters '00 and '01.
  I could get Guilty Gear on the Wii though.. the Hori Fighting Stick would go great with it.
  
  I have Street Fighter Alpha Anthology
  I want Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (I know it's rare) and Capcom Vs. SNK 2.
  
  Anything missing that I really shouldn't pass up? Suggestions for the Dreamcast would be awesome too

  Ubisoft (Mini-Rant)

  Okay, so Ubisoft's been "supporting" the Wii ever since it launched. Or so it seems, but if what Wii-owners have received from them is what they call support, then I don't want them getting involved whatsoever in the Wii library.

  I mean, let's take a look at their early titles for the Wii:
  
  

  With the exception of a great minigame collection:

  

  And this was prior to their apology:

  "We made mistakes," they told the magazine. According to Spiegel, Ubisoft wanted to be first to capitalize on Wii and in its haste to release product it sacrificed the quality of the titles. Ubisoft has reportedly learned from its mistakes, though, and is promising that the quality of its forthcoming Wii projects will be significantly better."

  So, one would think that things are going to pick up and we'll see quality games from Ubisoft, right?

  

  But, if done correctly, we'll see an unrushed version of Red-Steel.

  

  I don't think this is enough, and now Ubisoft CEO is speaking of "Nintendo-Quality" games from Ubisoft for the Wii in '08. I find that incredibly hard to believe with what we're seeing now. They issued an apology and since then have done nothing to make up for it, and now this.

  Yeah, I don't see Ubisoft getting any support from me anytime soon.

  And I'd just like to add they promised that Assassin's Creed would average 90% from professional reviewers. So far, it's at 83 out of 100 on Metacritic and 81.7% on Gamerankings

  A Birthday Present...

  It's my little brother's 7th birthday, so I decided to get him a present.
  An awesome present, veeery awesome.
  
  I went out and bought him Super Mario Galaxy today. I know he wanted it, and I know we would all enjoy it, especially me and him.
  
  Fantastic, right? Well...............
  
  His birthday's on the 29th, so I decided to do the noble thing and not play it until then.
