Shadow Complex is excellent. It's not the longest game but at $15 there's no complaining. I've been playing Shadow Complex while also playing Super Metroid lately and it's been cool seeing all the similarities. There are so many. It's really just like they took Super Metroid and put it in a Metal Gear environment and added a little bit more stealth. I love both these games and now I'm addicted to Metroidvania. Next stop Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission.

I'm also still playing Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga still and still haven't opened Bowser's Inside Story! Little sprinkles of Scribblenauts, Oblivion, Dead Space, Metroid Prime 2 and Halo 3 here and there too. I'm kinda disappointed in Oblivion. I liked it a lot at first but I guess I screwed up my character cuz they suck and I couldn't close the first Oblivion gate. I started wandering around doing quests and joining guilds to get better, but I'm just not feeling a commitment to the game. Maybe I'll get into it eventually. I played the South Park demo on my 360 and it was pretty cool. Looks like fun if you've got enough people playing. It's got tons of fan service. I'm considering buying.

In fact I've got a ton of games I just have to have right now and I'm busy enough as it is with the ones I have
    I've just gotta get:
    Metroid Zero Mission
    Metroid Fusion
    Castlevania Symphony of the Night
    Final Fantasy VI Advance
    Batman Arkham Asylum
    Psychonauts
South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play

    and I'm impatiently awaiting:
    Brutal Legend
    Dragon Age Origins
    Metroid Other M
    Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver
    Super Street Fighter IV

And then there's a plethora of other games that I badly want but don't quite make this VIP of games list
There's not enough time in the world. And now I've gotta do some homework..ugh

    lol.

I think it's funny how even today Street Fighter's sequels continue to have awesome prefixes and subtitles. Imagine Super Gears of War or Super Bioshock 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting.

Anyway I am super excited by this addition of super to Street Fighter IV. At first I was a little confused why they aren't taking advantage of dlc but as long as this is retail the more content the game will have. They are adding T. Hawk and a new character named Kuri and around 8 other characters to the roster, expanding online play with new features, giving characters new special moves and ultra combos and quite a few other things. Apparently there will also be a bonus for people who hold onto their copy of Street Fighter IV but it is unknown. Maybe it's a trade in offer that would be cool. The game will not be full priced so probably around $40. I can't wait for it.

I started playing Superstar Saga and I'm likin it but it's weird goin back to the first game. I really want to play Bowser's Inside Story but I'm forcing myself to finish Superstar before it. Fawful I have noticed is one of the greatest videogame villains of all time. And I just started Elder Scrolls Oblivion nearly 2 months after I got the game because of my 360 problem. Yeah I finally got my 360 back. They were cool for giving me a one month membership gold card. Anyway Oblivion is really cool I really like it so far. I made sort of a mage character of the one reptile-like race. The guy asked me if I was a pilgrim and I was like **** no! I was pretty upset he recommended the lamest sounding character type to me. It's just that sneaking up on enemies was addicting.

When are they gonna announce Mortal Kombat 9!

Has anyone seen the new Nintendo Channel Show? lol

Ah. I've been at college for approaching 2 months now (8 days of school) lol and the work for it is really starting to pile up on me now. I'm actually a bit glad I don't have a job right now I don't know if I could handle it . I've been playing Scribblenauts which I got on Tuesday lately which is second to only Super Smash Bros. Brawl as the title I've anticipated most ever. And Scribblenauts is definitely not a letdown I love it and reccommend it to everyone who thinks it looks even kind of cool. It's so much fun I have spent hours on the start screen it's hard for me to get into the main game the start screen is so much fun I'm still on the second level lol.

Besides that I've been playing Metroid Prime Trilogy which for the record is worth repurchase I loved it. Playing through Prime 1 again was a blast. And the tin case is so cool. I also got Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story but have not opened them yet. I'm excited to start them. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 I rented and played for 5 hours last night till 4am with a buddy till I was falling asleep. I think it's better than the last Ultimate Alliance but its a lot more simple which some may not like. Besides that it's mostly the same. I had to send in my 360 though I don't know what the problem was it just didn't have sound anymore and I tried new cables new tv and nobody seems to have had my problem.

I'm reading the Kite Runner for school and just finished Frankenstein. Frankenstein was okay but mindnumbingly boring. The Kite Runner however is one of the best books I've ever read I'm not even finished with it yet I couldn't put it down though. District 9 was awesome. Inglorious Basterds was pretty good too.

I know I made one of these a year or two ago. I think I did atleast...But opinions change and I probably don't have the same choices as before. Besides I have a lot of new games. So I present to you the 2009 Edition of my 25 favorite games.

    25.Kirby Canvas Curse

I actually didn't like Kirby Canvas Curse at first I can't remember why, but I picked it up again and I loved it. It's a great pick up and play game and the controls are perfectly suited for the DS. It couldn't be done on any other system it's a great showpiece for how the DS can enhance gameplay.

    24.Galaxian

My dad used to have an old Galaxian arcade machine in our house. It broke a while ago, but I had a lot of fun with that game. It's just like Space Invaders and can be very addictive to play.

    23.Mario Kart 64

I think this is one of the greatest multiplayer games of all time. Personally I got tired of Mario Kart a while back, but it's always fun to play every once in a while with the right people.

    22.Bully

I really liked the setting and characters in this game. It had a really interesting story and I liked the missions a lot.

    21.X Men Legends

What a cool game this was. Finally a cooperative X Men experience. Or maybe just the first good one. I played through this game several times it was one of the first non Smash non Pokemon games I was really hooked on.

    20.Advance Wars Dual Strike

Who knew what looks so simple on the surface was actually such a deep game. This is the only Advance Wars game I've played, but I can't imagine why I'd need another. There is so much to do in the game it's overwhelming.

    19.Portal

I would count the whole Orange Box but that wouldn't be fair. Portal stands out for me. It's not a long game at all you can complete it in about 2 or 3 hours, but it is so funny and brimming with personality it's hard to ignore. And the puzzles themselves are brilliant thanks to the portal gun, try the advanced maps.

    18.Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy X is a very good traditional jrpg. But the reason it's great is the story.

    17.Super Mario Bros. 3

To be completely honest I've never really gotten past World 3 in this game but it's hard to ignore on my list. Super Mario Bros. 3 is so much fun and features the best level design in all the sidescrolling Super Mario games.

    16.Pokemon Gold/Silver

A few years of my life can be summed up with the word "Pokemon". I played the hell out of Red and Blue. Kind of like how everyone else on the planet did. Silver/Gold was a huge improvement over Red/Blue and had me and my buddy hangin out trying to catch em all for entire days. I took my gameboy everywhere!

    15.Dead Space

This is a new game for me in fact I just completed it a few hours ago. But I cannot resist putting it on my list. To me it's one of the most flawless games I've ever played. The atmosphere, the sound, the nongimped gameplay. It's the way Resident Evil 5 should have been controlwise and it's a much scarier experience than any Resident Evil game I've played. The one major issue is it has nothing more to it than a single player game, but I easily got over that. This can only rise in the ranks.

    14.Age of Empires II

Okay along with Smash Bros. and Pokemon and maybe Guitar Hero this is still probably my most played game to date. I actually havn't played it in ages (hehe) though and could use a refresher. I really like real time strategy and this game is why.

    13.God of War II

God of War was one of the best games on the ps2 so a sequel could have easily been a disappointment. Especially since God of War II wasn't upgrading hardware to the ps3. What we got though was a game bigger and badder than the first game in every way. In essence, the perfect sequel.

    12.Guitar Hero II

Nowadays I am done with music games. I can't get excited for them anymore and they are costing more and more money. But back in 2006 when the series was still fresh, Guitar Hero II was there. And what an addicting game it was. I never could finish Jordan on expert though.

    11.Paper Mario

This was tough to choose since all 3 Paper Mario games are fantastic. Actually all Mario RPGs seem to be. But when it came down to it I had to choose the first one for having the best characters and I guess just being the first to do it.

    10.Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess

I can't count Ocarina since I never got far into it so this was a toss up between the Zelda games I have beaten. Twilight Princess vs. Wind Waker. It was close, they are each amazing in their own ways and I'd like to award them both. But when it comes down to it I give the position to Princess because Windwaker's sailing got annoying sometimes. I'm still waiting on a dream Zelda game.

    09.Metroid Prime 3 Corruption

I've always said the first Metroid Prime was the best (and for its time it definitely was), but going back and playing Metroid Prime 3 this summer made me rethink that. A lot of the backtracking is gone from Metroid Prime 3 and it makes it a more enjoyable experience. Add that to the always incredible atmosphere and always brilliant puzzles and you have one of my top ten games of all time.

    08.Street Fighter IV

I guess I just really like the original fighting game cast. The characters all have lots of personality even if the story doesn't show it much. I love the mechanics behind the game.

07.Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal

The Ratchet and Clank games are all about inventive weapons and an amusing story. I don't think it was ever done better than in Up Your Arsenal. Upgrading weapons is genius and I don't think it's ever been done better than Ratchet and Clank.

    06.Bioshock

Has maybe the best setting in a game of all time. It's often cited as one of the few games that define the business as art. Add to this setting a great plot full of twists, Plasmids, upgradable weapons, and cinematic gameplay moments that immerse you in Rapture and you have one of the best games of all time.

    05.Okami

I loved Okami and it's art and the characters and the thrill of running as a wolf and of course the paint brush mechanic. It's a bit like Zelda, but it's more than that. It does its own thing and I can't get enough of it.

    04.Chrono Trigger

This is my favorite videogame story. I think of it as the pinnacle of jrpgs. This is how characters should be, this is what the plot should be, this is how the gameplay should be. I suppose that makes it a bit of a late archetype.

    03.Resident Evil 4

Awesome. This game was such a thrill. I'm having trouble explaining my logic for this choice, but I think it's pretty understood that this is one awesome game.

    02.Super Mario 64

I was very tempted to choose Galaxy instead of Mario 64, but this is the first game I really really liked and I say it's the game that got me into videogames. I have better memory of this 13 year old game than I do of most new ones. So although Galaxy may be better, Mario 64 is the one that will always be in my heart. (I know that sounds gay lol)

    01.Super Smash Bros. Melee

And just like last time no surprises here. This just never gets old for me. Brawl is almost as good and has the benefit of much more content but the more offensive fighting in Melee wins.

Honorable Mentions: some games I really like that didn't quite make the list, this is in kind of a sloppy order so the numbers aren't especially literal here

    Wave Race Bluestorm
Prince of Persia The Sands of Time
    Soul Calibur II
    Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
    Goldeneye 007
    Donkey Kong Country
    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
    Halo 3
    Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
    Tetris
    Peggle
    Luigi's Mansion

There are so many more games to play and this list changes quite a bit.

    Chicken Butt.

I just got off my suspension last night. I was suspended for over 7 days because I told someone on system wars they were acting like a moron. Big mistake. Never point out the obvious. But it angers me I didn't even directly call them a moron, though he totally deserved it. Gamespot moderators are a joke. I sure hope I don't get suspended for saying that.

Speaking of system wars I don't understand the whole fanboy thing. What is so great about having an exclusive? Does it really hurt you that much if the game goes to another console? You don't need to justify your purchase of the system by having the most third party exclusives. If you really care why don't you get 2 systems? Or for the really hardcore, all three? They really aren't THAT much money. You can get a 360 for a bit more than the price of 3 new games for it. Of course not everyone should do this, but if you're upset enough to complain then you ought to. And all the system bashing and stereotypes are real immature as well.

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden II, No More Heroes, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Peggle, Soul Calibur II, Street Fighter IV, Halo 3 and Brawl this summer. Ninja Gaiden II and No More Heroes remind me a lot of eachother because they are both action games that definitely have their appeal, but they are VERY unpolished. Ninja Gaiden II is a lot of fun, but there is tons of slowdown and the ai is so cheap it's ridiculous. Whenever you walk into a room there's someone you can't see at first going to attack you. So much for being a ninja right? On top of that enemies spawn behind you and above you coming out of nowhere to surprise you. Most of the damage you'll take is either from the annoyingly cheap grab attacks from some of the fiends where they grab you and repeatedly beat the crap out of you and then throw you back or the ranged attacks. You are constantly being shot at by fireballs, arrows on fire and rockets. I wish I could post a video of the annoyance I had in a few parts of the game where you're having a projectile fight. You'll get hit by like ten rockets and then you get up and are about to shoot and then ten more hit you. Or when you're surrounded by flying fiends it's the same thing. Also whenever you get close to a rocket guy in hopes of killing him he'll launch em right before you get to him so you always take damage. I should probably mention the camera. It's cool that you get control over it, but the game could atleast point you in the right direction every once and a while. Moving the camera while your fighting is frusturating. It's official, Ryu is the worst ninja ever.

But complaints aside it's still an enjoyable game with hilarious gameplay, long chapters, awesome weapons and great graphics. No More Heroes is interesting because it's half tedious half awesome. The bosses are among the most enjoyable I've ever played and certainly the coolest cast of bosses. Travis himself is pretty awesome too. The gameplay has a good system going for it too and the story is great. The graphics are low quality but there's a big emphasis on ****over substance. This games got **** However the openworld parts of the game are so boring and tedious that you wonder if you should just stop playing. There's not much to do except take jobs and do some assassin jobs to make money. These are okay, but you end up doing the same thing over and over again and everytime you fail anything the game makes you drive all the way back there instead of just letting you restart. The overworld is awful filled with glitches too which is weird because it's so simple. I have faith NMH2 will be a much better game.

I recently got a membership at a gym. Been going there almost everyday. As far as movies, Transformers sucked something awful. Harry Potter and Bruno were pretty good though.

I got Peggle which is awesome I reccommend it to anyone with xbox live. It's one of the most addicting games I've ever played. And I started some of my old games. I forgot how great Metroid Prime 3 was and I can't wait for Trilogy. I finally got all 120 stars in Galaxy and unlocked you know who. The greatest character ever.

Oh and shout out to 2good2betrue who recently came back from the dead

Stay out of caves. That will be all.

I've been thinking about the next Super Smash Bros. ever since I heard about the possibly meaningless Professor Layton twitter about the smash world tournament where he was told to fight a blue robot boy, a posessed doll, and a tiny boxer. So he was told to fight Megaman, Geno and Little Mac respectively. There were a couple tweets on the subject but the next day he made one about people reading too much into things not that there's anything wrong with that. Still the fact that this account is somebody who works at Nintendo is interesting and could end up being all true whether the next game comes out on Wii, DS or the successor to Wii. I'm thinking they are finally gonna make a DS version of SSB, it only seems logical. Logical, hence Professor Layton lol.

So I thought alot about the characters for next big Super Smash Bros. game and I created this list. Prepare for wall.

    Mario characters:

    52. Geno (or Square character maybe I don't know)
    53. Professor Layton
    54. Ice Climbers
    55. Captain Olimar
    56. Mr. Game and Watch (hidden)
    57. Isaac from Golden Sun (hidden)
    58. ROB (hidden)

    Third Party Characters: (all hidden)
    59. Snake (Metal Gear Solid)
    60. Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog)
    61. Shadow (StH)
    62. Megaman (Megaman)
    63. Simon Belmont (Castlevania)
    64. Crono (Chrono Trigger)
    65. Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden)*******
    66. Ryu (Street Fighter)
    67. Viewtiful Joe (Viewtiful Joe)
    68. Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil)*******
    69. Bomberman (Bomberman)

    70. Toon Link

And the official never gonna happen #71 is Banjo Kazooie. Would be great though.

Rejects: Popular third party characters I just don't think fit
    1. Dante (Devil May Cry)
    2. Cloud (Final Fantasy VII)
    3. Sora (Kingdom Hearts)
Sora could fit but he's all about Disney and they would have to take that away which would ruin him.

So the grand total is 70 characters with 34 hidden and 36 available from the start. Kind of a stretch I think from the 35 or 36 in the last game but I think all the characters here are mostly reasonable. Now I'll go over some of the *s.

    * Luigi could use his vacuum as an attack much in the same way Mario uses his FLUDD. Just not as crappy. On that subject make FLUDD a bit more useful.

It's about time Ganondorf finally gets his own moveset. Give him one! And he needs atleast one attack with his double swords and maybe can use them for basic A attacks too.

Mewtwo needs to be improved very badly from how he played in Melee. He was too slow and had too many useless attacks. Falco and Wolf need more dramatic differences from Fox too although leaving them be would be understandable since they are similar characters anyway.

**Bowser Jr. could transform into Shadow Mario in much the same way Zelda and Pokemon Trainer transform.

***Waluigi whether you like him or hate him (I personally find him hilarious) would be a great addition to the series. Reason being he has the potential for a great, varied moveset with his stalky figure and lanky stance. Give him a bob-omb attack. I understand all the haters of Waluigi I've heard all of you, but this is a smash bros. game not a Mario adventure. All that matters I think is popularity and eligibility.

****I'm on the fence about Ridley because he would be so cool but he'd also need to be scaled down ALOT. But then again look at first Bowser who is a bit smaller than normal and second Olimar. Olimar is MUCH smaller than the other characters but in the game they scaled him way up to a competitive size.

*****Rival Pokemon Trainer would be great. He could have the starters from a newer generation or he could have an Eevee evolution trifecta or something else. He has to look like Gary Oak.

******I didn't include anymore Earthbound characters. I looked into a lot of them. Jeff, Poo, Paula, Klaus, Porky etc but they all seem like they'd be better as assist trophies. Then again I dunno I've never played a game in the series.

*******Ryu Hayabusa might be shocking to some because of how bloody and gory the Ninja Gaiden games are but I actually think he's one of the more possible characters here. His moveset would be easy he has a large set of ridiculous attack, weapons and ninpos at his disposal and then look at the collaboration with Team Ninja and Nintendo on Metroid. I think it's safe to say Ryu is a likely possibility. As for the blood issue it's Super Smash Bros. Characters don't bleed so he'll be as child safe as anyone in the cast.

Leon S. Kennedy I think is less likely because the creator doesn't like firearms attacks but I think they could do it by giving him incendiary grenades or flash grenades, the rocket launcher and his roundhouse melee attack. I don't think a shotgun that only hurts at close to mid range but be much of a big deal. It would be lame to pass up on Resident Evil's most popular character and the star of one of the most beloved gamecube (and wii) games.

And one last thing I'd like to go over is the new assist trophiest/adventure mode. A lot of great Nintendo characters just would not work as playable fighters or just aren't popular enough. And regarding the new adventure mode I think many Nintendo characters could replace the stupid shadow enemies in Brawl. Think of all the glorious minibosses. Anyway here's the list of adventure enemies/assist trophies I just thought of. There are so much more they could use. They have such a huge library of characters.
    1 goomba
    2 koopa and paratroopa
    3 shy guy
    4 metroid
    5 space pirate
    6 hunters
    7 Kraid
    8 Motherbrain
    9 Wart
    10 cackletta and fawful
11 villains of super paper mario (count bleck, ochunks, mimi, dimentio, MR L!) and the other paper mario games
    12 Elite Beat Agents
    13 Donkey Kong Country enemies
14 semi popular fire emblem characters
15 The Earthbound characters listed above
    16 Kid Icarus enemies
    17 gorons
    18 wallmaster (lol jk)
    19 pak E. derm
    20 Slippy and Peppy
    21 9 volt
    22 Chibi Robo
    23 Stanley
    24 Ryota Hayami
25 Knuckles, Tails, Dr. Eggman, Amy etc
    26 phoenix wright
    27 king hippo
    28 zack and wiki
    29 kamek
    30 raiden

I could go on and on but I won't.

Cuz this blog took forever to make.

So that's about it. Thank you for reading my wall of text(if you did)

    And one more thing

    STAY OUT OF CAVES

    Scribblenauts!

Okay I didn't wanna jump on the bandwagon, but no nevermind actually I don't mind. Scribblenauts was the most impressive game there. It seemed to have come out of nowhere at E3 and take everyone by surprise. If you don't know anything about Scribblenauts yet it's a simple premise. There's a place you have to reach on each level. However the possibilities of getting there are almost endless. You write in whatever items you can think of to reach your goal. Things like skateboards, penguins, ladders, cars, shotguns, and even God. From what I've heard people at E3 were trying to come up with words that would not register in the game and the game provided an item every single time. Incredible. This should be the best DS game ever.

I don't think there was a clear winner at E3 this year. All conference's had parts that blew me away (Metroid, Natal, GOWIII) and groaners as well (mostly in the middle section of nintendo's conference). Oh and prepare for a long read I have a lot to say I guess.

Microsoft was first and they showed off the games Rock Band Beatles, Modern Warfare 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Final Fantasy XIII, Crackdown 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Alan Wake, Forza Motorsport 3, Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach, Shadow Complex, Tony Hawk Ride and MGS Rising.

I really wasn't too interested since I already knew about most of these games and they aren't games I'm dying to play. Alot of them are good if you're fans of the series, but there's not alot here for me. ODST would be pointless for me to get. I don't play the single player mode in Halo 3 much + I have no interest in the Halo storyline and I am perfectly fine with the multiplayer mode. I'm not big on rpgs unless the characters and story are phenomenal so we'll see about FFXIII. It better be better than the crapfest that was FFXII. Modern Warfare 2 I may get since I missed out on the first one and I hear great things about it. Same goes for Left 4 Dead, I've played a bit of each of these games and they are both fun but I don't own them. Maybe I'll start with the sequels. Anyway doesn't Left 4 Dead 2 seem a bit too early, what could they possibly have done to make it better that quickly? I've been over music games for a while so no Rock Band Beatles for me. Forza Motorsport 3 looks great and that video thing looks awesome but I'm a strictly arcade racer so it's not for me. Tony Hawk Ride could be cool, but probably won't be...MGS Rising on 360 was cool I guess, even though it's also on ps3. At this point it's too late for me to get into that franchise, but nevertheless a good announcement. I've never even played a Splinter Cell game so I'm definitely passing on Conviction and I'm just not sold on neither Alan Wake or Shadow Complex.

Then after Microsoft showed off some neat Twitter, Facebook and Blast.FM connectivity they unveiled Project Natal. I was not impressed at first, but a bit into the footage it really grew on me. It could be the next big step in gaming. It could be a huge step over the wii. They showed off Milo which is what really blew me away. The fact that we not only have that technology, but it's open to the public is amazing. I mean it looks boring, but still I liked what I saw.

Nintendo was next and first off I want to take this time to address the ridiculous hypocrasy and disrespect from people on these forums to the wii. I've always been supportive of motion control since the wii was announced and like the South Park I wanted to freeze myself lol. Then the wii came out and it was a bit underwhelming and I was disappointed. It wasn't as immersive as I wanted it to be. But it was a step in the right direction which Nintendo took before the rest. Now that Microsoft and Sony are coming out with their competition for the wii I see all these people bashing Nintendo saying the wii is awful and useless because Microsoft's technology looks better and Sony's looks about even. Obviously these people don't understand how competition works. Nintendo's came out first, of course it's the most primitive. And do you think they're just gonna sit there and not do anything about it? Hell no maybe not next year, but they'll be back soon with something just as good if not better. And the hypocrasy is even worse. All the same people that hated the wii because motion control gameplay is too casual and they like buttons better are all going bananas over the new technology for whatever system they have. It's fanboyism at its best, but then again maybe Nintendo has been too cocky at their press conferences.

So onto the conference. It started off really strong in my opinion with the announcement of New Super Mario Bros. on the Wii. I'm really excited about this because I've been waiting for something like it for a long time. Kind of like Little Big Planet, but with the fantastic control of Mario Bros. It's a great feeling when a game you imagined comes true. Then after that it got really lame. Wii Fit Plus, expected and not my thing. Wii Sports Resort should be good I can't wait for Motion Plus and the first opportunity to try out 1:1 motion control. They talked about all the games taking advantage of Motion Plus including Red Steel 2 which looks a helluva lot better than the poor first game. Then they showed a bunch of trailers mostly of games we already knew about. Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers, Kingdom Hearts, Mario and Luigi 3 and Golden Sun DS. Alot of people are excited about a new Golden Sun and it does look pretty good. I love the Mario and Luigi series also so 3 is a mustbuy for me. Then they announced yet another Mario game in Mario vs. Donkey kong on the dsi. They showed a trailer of a game called ****Savvy which was the low point of all of E3 this year. Good job. A game on the DS called C.O.P. which probably will suck. Then some mystery game which was boring. They introduced the Vitality Sensor which is just stupid. Why did they even unveil it when they didn't even know how they were gonna use it in games? Then finally they had another big game announcement. Super Mario Galaxy 2 sequel to one of this generation's finest games and one of the best Marios ever. Looks like it's more varied than the first which was the one nitpick of the first. Then they showed off trailers for the conduit, resident evil darkside chronicles and dead space extraction. I may get the conduit depending on reviews and probably will atleast rent it. I'm bound to try out one of these wii light gun games that keep coming out eventually. Could be one of these, both have potential to be a great light gun game. Which is...still not a deep experience. At this point I thought it was over and I was incredibly disappointed because there was not one big announcement for a non Mario game. Seriously even the biggest mario fan gets tired of Mario. But then the biggest surprise thinkable happened. Metroid Other M. This stole the show for me. Team Ninja the guys behind the incredible Ninja Gaiden series teamed up with Nintendo to make an action Metroid game grittier than any before? I'm sold. And they managed to surprise me, this really raised my opinion of their conference. Alot.

And finally Sony's which I admittedly did not watch most of and was mostly paying attention to my yearbook I just got seeing as I don't have a ps3. So naturally I don't have as much to say. I think they had the best game line up though. They had a lot of psp games apparently I didn't see that part though. Also the leaked PSP Go, I'm not sure if people like this and I don't know anything about it so nothing to say then. Good to hear the psp is still being supported though and hanging in there. They showed a trailer for Gran Turismo 5 but once again, I'm not really a sim racer guy. The God of War III demo looked AWESOME. Another game I really wish i had a ps3 for. It sucks thinking the last GOW I will play through could be the one that ended in a cliffhanger. In my opinion the new playstation controller is too similar too the wii and feels like a me too thing unlike Microsoft who really innovated with theirs. So they get no points for that. They are making some LBP racer game and a very interesting game from Team ICO called The Last Guardian. They also showed Uncharted 2, that series seems great.

So they all have their pros and cons and I really couldn't tell you who won. Many will say Nintendo's was worst, but that's okay it was pretty bad if you're not a fan of Mario or Metroid. And no Wii Zelda Kid Icarus, Pikmin 3, F-Zero, or Star Fox was a bit weird. But the press conferences as a whole were great, they had something for everyone. Except fighting game fans. >.>

Anyway since this blog is already the longest thing ever freakin written I'll just add some more stuff. I got Halo 3 and The Orange Box. Those two games have convinced me that I suck at online shooters. But I won't give up! I graduate next Thursday that should be notable for me I guess lol. It took me 20 ranked matches of street fighter iv online before I lost last night. I don't mean to brag but I must've became a street fighter stud all of a sudden. Err let's see...Portal is awesome...Umm one of the windows in my car is broken and won't roll up which is quite bad in this world that we live in where people will.....crap I'm rambling, this blog is long enough. See ya. If you managed to read this whole thing you are a god.

Gamespot's sister site Gamefaqs is doing this Best. Game. Ever. series of polls. The cool thing is that anyone with a gamespot account was allowed to make a bracket guessing what games would win each poll. And I don't know exactly how points are given out, but the closer you are to the results the more points you would get I presume. The best part is that it's a contest and the winner gets $500 online gift certicate, 2nd and 3rd get $250, 4th and 5th get $100, and 6th through 10th get $50. So I created a bracket. I thought nothing of it until just now when I finally decided to check up on how the contest was going. I was shocked when I found out I am in third place out of thousands of entries with 179 points only 4 points away from #1. The contest is probably 3/4 of the way through so I could still also drop out of the top ten probably though. My last two divisions don't seem to strong. Here's a link to the contest stats and my bracket (incase you want to help me).

    ...to defeat the Huns...

So hey I havn't written a blog in a while. Because well I dunno there's nothing to write about. I've been pretty unexcited about everything but I'll give this a shot.

Let's see I got Resident Evil 5 a little while ago. Been playin that quite a bit. It's a bit sad that it is so similar to RE4 after all these years and the only changes are for the worse. Don't get me wrong I really like the game I just think it could of been amazing. Some of the things like the real time inventory screen in single player were definitely bad ideas. No merchant? What the fu.....Capcom is also quickly becoming the most evil dlc company around. First Street Fighter's way overpriced costume packs which were already in the game on release and now Resident Evil 5's vs. mode. I'd buy maybe if it was real added content, but for something already on the disc.....It's only 5 dollars but I'm not supporting greediness. I already payed 60 bucks. Anyway it's still a really fun game. Just disappointing compared to RE4.

I just watched Dragonball Evolution. No comment.

Oh braces are off in 6 days! Just in time for my birthday where I expect to get lots of porn and cigars. Guess how old I'll be.

In much darker news my good co-officer at the South Park union 2good2betrue has been banned. He's might try to appeal but I don't think they'll help him. Even though he wasn't using his account. I'm surprised gamespot has so many members with the way they treat their users. I realize I'm part of the problem. Speaking of South Park the pirate one last night was hillarious. I love how the Kevin kid from the lord of the rings episode came back to once again piss Cartman off with his Star Wars obsession. One of the best endings ever too.

Wolverine looks like it's going to be a good movie. I've read alot of comments from people who saw the leaked version and reaction hasn't been great, but the movie hadn't been finished yet. It looks really cool still from the trailers and I can't wait to see Gambit in it. I'd be interested in seeing Deadpool also, but apparently they ruined him. Others like Blob, Cyclops and Emma Frost I wanna see too. It was really lame what they did to Cyclops in the other movies.
Speaking of X Men movies, it seems there are a ton more spinoffs along the way. First is another origin story this time about Magneto which is set to start filming soon. Fox is also in talks about making Deadpool and Gambit movies. And finally the most interesting one to me is X Men: First Cla$$ which seems to be about the original x men team. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman and Angel. I hope this is a reboot because it won't work in the preexisting universe. Iceman and Angel having not been with them. Anyway it's nice to see some X Men movies that don't center around Wolverine.

One last thing of importance, the Janitor on Scrubs is married! We're gonna find out his name soon I know it. Season 8 has been great so far. It's great they are ending with a bang.

So that will be all thanks for reading. Yo Adrian, I did it!

Peggle is hands down the most addictive videogame I've ever played. I've played both the pc trial and the xbox live arcade one. Never bought it, but I must. Best game ever? Maybe.

Oh and having silver sucks. I miss gold. D:

I woke up today with acne near my lip (as all crappy days start) even after putting some benzoyl stuff on it over the weekend. It's gay balls and my mom thinks it's because of my soul patch so she wants me to shave it off. Well not gonna happen. So I got to school today and found out that I have a big math placement test for community college today and tomorrow that I hadn't yet signed up for. I just hope I can take it, should be real easy. So I had second period cooking and I had the fantastic idea of sneaking out of class to go to the career center and sign up for the test. I was caught and now I think I'm on my teacher's bad side, one more slip and I'm out of the class. Then she said she would have let me go if i just asked and I wanted to hit myself. The next 2 periods slowly went by and I got out at lunch and drove with a friend down the hill (our town sucks) about 30 minutes away to see a good movie and find a gamestop to get my copy of Street Fighter IV. Well we looked all over for gamestop, but apparently they got rid of the one that used to be there. So we tried Walmart who ended up not having it in yet. Bummer. So we went to the theater and went to see Push. I knew it looked bad, but I can honestly say it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Do not see Push. It is crap. Seriously. I usually give movies a chance to finish before I hate them, but I was squirming in my seat the whole time and I almost fell asleep a few times. Everything about the movie was bad. The plot, the dialogue, the acting with few exceptions, the ending, the intro, the creativity...I've never walked out of a movie just because I didn't like it, but I contemplated it with this. So when the movie was over we went back and I decided to try the kmart in our town for street fighter iv. No luck again. Balls. Oh and I also was supposed to ask this girl out today, but I didn't and now I have that on my chest. So I just got home and everything sucked about today, everything went wrong when it was supposed to be a good day. i'm not mad, or anything I actually think it's kinda funny. Oh and one more thing, I think my mac computer might have a virus (blasphemy), it's having serious problems all of a sudden. No joke

In slightly less lame news I have been downloading as many demos as possible on xbox live before my free gold subscription runs out. I'm at about 15 right now. Played a couple of em. The Burnout Paradise one is a must have demo lol. Now good day sirs and madams.
