it's so weird not being on gamespot, when i log in and see i have 23+ messages i almost screamed. now i really have to come back, honestly i missed talking about video games with all you cool cats!

i guess sometimes people need breaks, plus a ton of my friends will be leaving for school so i've been spending time with them.

Wow, this summer went by way too fast.

that game looks just as good, and by ratings it is just as good!!!! yay ^.^

So, i haven't been on gamespot in awhile, and i've really missed it! but i've been sooo busy playing Syberia II this really fun/tedious point and click game. (yeah, it's actually fun if you like puzzles ALOT)

i played for a week straight and finally beat it! but the game was absurdly hard in some places (i'm still not sure how some of the puzzles are put together, it boggles me ) and unfortunatly the final puzzle in the game was so impossible i had to use gamefaq (pretty dissapointing really....) but how am i suppposed to figure out the song of the mammoths?! really?!

i think that might be the only thing i actually don't like about point and click games (which isn't bad b/c most people seem to hate these games). the puzzles are either moderatly easy, trial and error based, or insanely hard. the latter hurts my overall experience in these games

yet, now i want to play Dreamfall:the longest journey

i have high hopes with this point and click game, i've heard many good things about it. and fortunatly for me, i'll be getting it in the next few days b/c my boyfriend has it! yay!

ok, so i had this idea....

when i was watching the Nintendo press conference they were talking about the Wii Fit and the Wii Board, right?

well, i guess i was expecting something different (something more like a real game, not a self help game yknow?). so i started thinking of games that could come out for the Wii board. I had this idea for a Mario Surf game, (now i don't how well it would work but it was just an idea). i also recently thought that a SSX game using the board would be a good idea to.

Now is this just me? Cuz i think it would work great.

As for the rest of the conference, it was ok....too many statistics proving how good nintendo is doing. i also didn't think there was enough game play and i didn't think that there was enough information about upcoming games as well. people have mentioned it before, but the high school musical game idea just plain sucks, srsly. hahah but it happens. I mean, remember Escape for Bug Island????

there's my two cents, i wish i would have watched the other conferences.....hmmm i could just watch them on here though i guess....

Yeah, so I've gotten pretty far in Pokemon Pearl....and i can't help but tell you guys about how much fun the Underground is. Problem is my base is full of rocks and I have no friends in this world!! ::sniffle::

So here are the details thus far...

1. Pokemon: Ambiguous Ponyta (level 26), Respectable Luxray (Level 32), Quick Staravia (Level 31), Powerhouse Roselia (Level 32), Above Average Bibarel (level 30) and Amusing Prinplup (level 31)

** i don't know where those adjectives came from, but they seem appropriate

** i started raising a Ponyta b/c otherwise i'd have a hard time in an upcoming ice gym (so I've heard).

2. So i beat Crasher Wake ? yesterday. He was a pushover despite being the 4th badge

4. Gambled for 2 hours straight! I rose from about 70 coins to a wopping 2000! Luck was on my side....THIS TIME!!!

anyways...that's my dose of pokemon for the day. Otherwise, I'm drinking a black iced tea lemonade at Starbucks in my local mall and looking for a kick ass Katamari Damacy shirt online.

Interesting news from Pokemon Pearl:

1. I just kicked Gym Leader Roark's ass hahah

2. My team consists of my Mighty Piplup (level 13), bland Bidoof (Level 11), powerhouse Budew (Level 12), quick Shinx (Level 11), powerful Starly (Level 11) and the tedious Kricketune (Level 10)

3. I've spent 4 hours just leveling up my pokemon. (and this was before i went to the first gym) anyone who knows me, knows i am the leveling up queen....but i think i'm pushing it lol

i think i'll keep a log on my pokemon travels from now on. so with my weekly blogs will come Pokemon fun!!!

Gitaroo Man (which i highly doubt i'll get because it's so hard to find. it turns out the last copy they had a gamestop was recently sold)

Pokemon Pearl (which i'm almost positive i will receive! i can't wait to play 8+ hours straight! i'm gonna get the worst headaches hahah)

Hotel Dusk (which looks so amazing! i love games with difficult puzzles (at least i hear they're difficult...))

so, i'm currently playing Final Fantasy xii right now and enjoying ALMOST every minute of it. i love the battle system, i love the story but i am currently in a part in the game in which i can basically do what ever i want. i CAN continue with the story, but i kinda want to do the hunts and possibly get some more summons. i think this would be great, but i never thought about how tedious this would be!

So i was fighting this gigantic t rex in a desert (i seriously cannot remember the name of the monster or the location i was in). i was really getting into this battle, maybe 40 minutes into it. His hp is slowly dwindling, my characters are growing tired (but thankfully for me, penelo has every single shield block LP, she is evading like mad). but then the t rex goes into rage and begins attack me like crazy and i die!

i don't let stuff like this get me down, but man was i upset! i tried this hunt again later and finally beat the monster with a stronger battle strategy in hand. it's good to lose sometimes because then you know what to expect the second time (coughfinalfantasytacticscough).

Now, i'm starting to get a little tense about future battles...there are so many and if i plan on getting Zodiark i'm gonna have to level up and build my characters like crazy!!! (but not like i already haven't...)

hmmm...a lot to look forward to. a little nerve wrecking, but overall pretty fun and challenging. i'm looking forward to beating this game with everything i can possibly get in the game.

i'm really excited!!!!
