Sony Ericsson V630i review

Hello dear gamers and whatever you are ...

This post will be little different from others cuz I'll write some kind of a review for my new mobile phone, it's not classical review, but you'll see that while reading (if you feel to)...

So, lets start. Couple of days ago, my old mobile phone (Sony Ericsson K300i) broke, actually it had some problems before but that days was his last) and i decided to buy a new one. I looked over the Internet and since I've liked Sony ericsson phones i bought one one more time, V630. Btw, it's Vodafone model.

It's pretty much what every mobile phone these days has: camera (2mpx), support for music (.mp3, .wma, .aac, etc.) and videos (.3gp), also there is support for video conversation (3G), memory card included (Memory Stick Micro M2 256mb), bluetooth, screen in 256k colors...

Here are some pictures I took.

Right:

I like the design, but in every review I have read so far, it said that design had suck3d (literally) but I find it just fine.

Let's move on.

Music: With 256 mb card included you can store about 50/60 .mp3 songs with no problem. There is media player included and it's easy to play music trough it. You can search by artist, album, song name, and you can make your own playlists. In Vodafone's pack I also go Mobile Speakers MPS-70 (great sound, but they use too much battery).

Videos, pictures: .3gp format for videos, good quality and also Video player included so you can play/pause/stop the video. You can also change the size of vid and see it in landscape view. There is also VideoDJ for editing and making your own vids. Simple but effective. Most formats for pictures are allowed. Just like for video there is PictureDJ for pics. You can change the size, add all kind off effects, change quality etc.

Camera: Like on K750i and bunch other Sony Ericsson mobile phones, it's 2.0 Mega Pixels camera. It doesn't have flash (odd) so quality lacks on low light. When camera is on, you're in landscape view which i like and there are also few useful functions like panorama. Here is the example of picture taken outside by V630i. (resolution i used is 1024*768 )

What else? Ahh, games. All you get are free demos (trials) which you can play for short time. Pacman, ridge racer, extreme air snowboarding, towers... that are the games you get. They are not bad, just trials.

There is also support for direct uploading pictures to your blog on Blogger.com account. Interesting option, but i don't think i'll ever use it.

Memory is upgradable to 4gb, although i doubt it works.

Conclusion:

All in all, it's best buy for me. All things that mobiles phone these days needs to have are in this one, and it's best in price range. There are minor problems with bluetooth connection, but that happens very rearly and also missing flash light is a minus. But everything else is perfect. I recommend this photo to everyone.

I think that's it. If i remember anything more, i'll edit this,

Until next time,

Svenky

Week 2nd of April

Okay, few things happened this week, i'll write what happened every day this week. Just to say that this week was first and last in this spring break vacations...

Day 1: Monday:

It's the day after Easter so it's non-working day, everything was closed. I woke up around 9 am, eat something and went to training in nearby city (if you can call it that way). It's actually remainings of the old town called Salona. For those who don't know, I train Le Parkour (L'art du deplacement). We also captured few shoots while training (you can see them here). If you don't know what Parkour is go here and read few lines. I came back home around 2pm, so that was like 3 hours of training and i was exhausted. Than i had lunch, and than i just laid on sofa for like 3 hours and at the evening I made few things in photoshop, played Act of War: Direct Action and went to bed around 1am.

Day 2: Tuesday:

People started to work, but i didn't...haha...that's not funny at all but anyway. I was tired from yesterdays training so I just stayed home and messed around with pc. Made few things in photoshop, if you wish to see them go and visit my DeviantArt account.

Day 3: Wednesday:

My friend had birthday (happy birthday to him one more time ). So it started like this. He called (actually send me massage via msn) to invite me. It was around 4 pm and birthday was planned to start at 6 pm, but i said i'll come. First we went to see Mr. Bean on vacations in cinema (i watched that film before but i didn't want to be rude and refuse invitation so I just went there and watched film that is imo not funny as first one was). Than we went to his apartment, ordered some food, eat it and just talked or some of us played pc... And i went home around 10.30 because i got really bored. And i went to sleep around midnight.

Day 4: Thursday:

Woke up around 10. Called my (girl)friend and we went on coffee around 12.30 pm. Talked with her for like 3 hours,it was entertaining believe it or not, came home around 3 pm, had lunch, went to training. Returned around 8/9 pm. Was so tired that I went to sleep around 11/midnight.

Day 5: Friday:

Woke up around 1pm, had breakfast/lunch and went to training. Came back home around 7pm. And one more birthday (happy birthday to you too ) to go on. It was supposed to start at 8pm, but i came at 9 cuz i din't have enough time to do all things between 7 and 8. The party went like this. 9am: we all met and went to store to buy some drink (there was like 15 people on party). Than around 9.30 pm we came to party destination, 2 guys brought their guitars and they are excellent guitar players. So, party started, we danced, singed, talked, drink. At 11/midnight 3/4 girls got drunk so we had to take care of them and somehow got them home. And we actually managed to do it. Around 1am we started to go home. Me any my friend took care of 2 girls (i mean returned them safely) and went to hot donuts. The party was good, but I'm not much of drinker so i don't like when people get drunk, especially girls. Came home around 1.30 am. Just opened the door, said hello to my mother and went to bed.

Day 6: Saturday: /today/

Nothing really interesting happened. In morning I started to learn (maths most, i have exam on tuesday i think). Than went to my parents friends boat (it's actually yacht made of wood, really good looking), came home around 4 pm, that went to visit my grandmother, she doesn't feel so well so i wish her to get well soon. After that started to play Act of war, but quickly stopped to write this blog post.

I might start to write blogs like this every week, but we'll see, i think i'm to lazy for it.
So that's it for now.

Until next time...

Sven
