They took the lawnmower, a vacuum, and a tv (not a big loss on the tv though). And it happened while me and my brother were in the house.
Let me paint the picture. We have a two car garage with two doors, one of which is always closed, but never locked, that way we can open it and put the car in whenever we get home without having to go through the front door. Now, inside the garage is a door that leads to the hallway that further leads into the innermost door. There's this box on the wall next to that door, on which we keep the keys to it.
I honestly can't believe I didn't hear anything. I mean, I think I MIGHT have, and then I heard some keys jingling, so I thought it might be my parents coming home, but it was really my brother playing with some keys. So I dismissed it. It was only when my parents got home that I found out about the robbery. It was a quick one, seeing as there was plenty of other stuff to take, but none of it was, and there are bound to be some fingerprints around. But I KNOW that the police will likely do nothing about it. Well, what the jerkwad-skirtwearing-yeastycodpiece thieves what done it DON'T know, is that our oh-so-lovable neighbors from the house next door have a CAMERA THAT CONSTANTLY RECORDSTHEIR FRONT YARD FROM LEFT TO RIGHT, and UNLESS they were planning to get out of the neighborhood by driving in reverse, the front or back of their vehicle would have at SOME point been in FULL VIEW OF IT.

Really, just gotta wait for the neighbor's son to get here so we can check out what the camera recorded, and uh, I smell a nicely cooked lawsuit.

Yeah, so, I'm having some trouble with my cat. See, some months ago she started going into heat, and as so she's always rolling around on the carpet, rubbing against the floor, hissing. So anyway, I went to my neighbor and asked if they had a guy cat we could borrow. They did, and so we get the cat together with our cat, and you know what she does? She goes into a fit of -- for lack of better words -- unbelievable b*tchiness. She has this thing where if she doesn't like your smell, she gets agressive. It's mostly when you smell of another animal, but now I'm not sure. I mean, she wants a cat, right? So we get her one and she hisses him away! And take note that we borrowed the cat MINUTES after we saw her rolling around the carpet. So what is it? Did she not like the cat? Was it his personality? Can cats be superficial? 'Cause if you ask me, the cat was a good-looking cat, kind of orangish-yellow with horizontal stripes of oranger-yellow from front to back.
So does anyone know anything about cats? Do cats want "the" cat for them, or does any cat do, and if they do, then why did she get so angry?
And on an unrelated note, the lady in the red dress on the main tv.com page (she's from battlestar gallactica, aparently), is GORGEOUS. I mean, wow, she looks great!

This, in my opinion is the BEST fight scene ever. Perhaps not in terms of special effects, but of action. Every move that Neo does is perfectly chosen if you look closely.

AND I HATE HANNAH MONTANA! SHE'S FREAKIN' EVERYWHERE! ON TV, IN MAGAZINES, THOSE STICKER MACHINES -- YOU KNOW WHERE I WANT TO SEE HER?! ON THE BACK OF A FRIKIN' MILK CARTON!
Thank you, I shall now let you enjoy that fight scene. Unless you saw it first.

Stick around 1:25, it's when this song is at it's coolest. And I'm still deciding on the next magic trick.

Seriously, have any of you ever just gone to youtube, pulled up the Hakuna Matata video and sung along to it? I've been doing so for the last 2 days, it's FUN!
And who doesn't just LOVE the thought of being a villian when they hear Be Prepared?!
And let's not forget Circle of Life and I just Can't Wait to Be King!
But honestly, The Lion King has got to be the best Animated Disney Film (NOT SPIRIT!!! Although I understand everyone is entittled to their opinion . . .)
Oh I just can't wait, to be Kiiiiing. . . .

I'm going to make it "of the month" now. Anyway, there are only so many magic tricks, and some of them are really difficult to pull off. So there you have it.
And to the owner of the Yellow Mazda, you're being towed.

I think I'll reveal a big one this time. The ever-famous, voted magic trick of theyear, self-tying shoelace.
The effect: You walk by a COMPLETE stranger. They look down and happen to notice your shoe is untied. When they make this obvious to you, all you do is smile at them, give your foot a little shake and the shoelaces turn into a REAL, INSPECTABLE KNOT, right before their very eyes!
- Pros: Requires very little practice.
- It's incredibly visual, your audience will never believe their eyes.
- Once you do the trick, your shoe is fully inspectable.
- It's a REAL knot.
- Cons: The trick can only be done once per shoe.
- It's pretty easy to give it away sometimes.
How you do it: It's really quite simple, but it's a bit hard to explain. Here's a video of the explanation. http://youtube.com/watch?v=hJZCPCxJ7CE

So here's a new thing I'm going to try. Every week, or maybe at more regular intervals, I'm going to choose a magic trick I really like, show a video of it to you, and then explain how it's done. I'm not always going to have a video, unless it's already uploaded by someone else, because I haven't gotten to figuring out youtube . . . Anyway. . . .
First trick:
How it works: You have a spectator, maybe two, and you tell them if they want to see something cool. You take out your trusty deck of cards and ask them if they want to shuffle it and inspect them to make sure there's no funny business going on. You get the cards back and say that now it's your turn to shuffle them. You even shuffle them behind you, and when that's done, you show them the top card and ask them to tell you what it is. You put them behind your back, and when you show the next card in the deck, you magically know what number and emblem it is without even having looked at it! What's more, you guess the next one. And the next one, and the next one, and the next one. You can guess them the ENTIRE deck, and it doesn't matter how much they shuffle it the next time, you will ALWAYS know what the next card is!
- Pros:Very simple, requires no practice at all.
- Can be used with any deck of cards and has a simple reset.
- Gets good reactions.
- Cons: You have to be careful where your audience is standing.
Now for the main event.
How you do it: You take the cards from your spectator(s) after they've shuffled them like mad. Once you're "shuffling" them behind you, what you're really doing, is taking the BACK card of the deck, and flipping it over. Next, show them that card, but make sure they don't see the other side of the deck. Ask them to tell you what the card is. But this is only a distraction, as what you're really doing, is looking at the original top card. Take the cards behind you and proceed to place the card you just saw on top of the one they just named for you. As you name them that card, you will already know the next card . . . because you'll be looking at it!
So I hope you liked that one and please be sure to tell me how it went if you perform it for anyone!

Darned school. Around the end of last semester we got to choose our classes, as I'm sure everyone did. Well, at the time I was still really into becoming an animator or something. And I still think that would be cool, but that's not the point. The point is this: to take Animation Class, first I needed BCIS or Computer Applications. You tell me which one sounds like it would be harder. BCIS, right? What? No? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? BCIS COULD BE ANYTHING! Jeez . . . Anyway . . . I chose Computer Applications and right from the first cla$$ the teacher starts raving on about how hard the cla$$ is gonna be and how we'll need to work on our own time too and that we should quit now if we're not up to working hard--well, I stayed. Mostly because I just didn't want to have to switch out. Well it's not so bad now, but it's definitely gonna get harder and guess what? I WILL NEED TEAMWORK. TEAMWORK. That's like the ant having to ask the grasshopper for help in gathering food. Or the other way around, I'm not sure which one fits my case.
But that's just the first obstacle. I have this minimum number of at least two projects due in Drawing cla$$, and I've only started working on one. That was like two weeks ago. I HAVE NOT WORKED ON THE FIRST OF THE TWO AT ALL SINCE THEN. So even if I ever get around to finishing that, I have the second one to look forward to. Guess what they are? Series pieces. I have to have a bunch of them by the end of the year. "Well, that's an awful lot of time, I'm sure you'll make it." Right? Nope. Procrastination is my ever present enemy. For example, by tomorrow I have to have a rough draft of a "This I believe Speech," and I also have some Precalculus homework. Have I done either of them? Nope, I'm here instead, telling you all about it. I've been doing my Precalculus homework during lunch (I never go to lunch anyway) at the Library, and the Rough Draft seems simple enough. So I guess I have it easy today. "You haven't worked on them for two weeks? What have you been doing in that time?" Some ink project the whole cla$$ was doing. Did I finish it? Nope. But hopefully I did enough to pass it for finished. Which I don't think I did. "But it's Art Class! How can it be giving you a hard time?" That's a stereotype people . . . I would so rather take History of art, honestly, at least I would get everything I need from a book without actually having to do anything else . . . right? I don't know what Art History's like, I've never taken it.
But Art is not the only issue, there's also Precalculus. I was doing fine for a while. 'Till around the end of last week when we were practically writing sentences out of math symbols. I am not that smart. Sure, I'll have that occasional burst of unbrightled intelligence (did I say that right?) but when it comes down to it, I'm much less than average. I've really been making an effort this year to keep up with things, make sure I turn stuff in, finish daily work . . . I have a ton of time on first period, so that cla$$ is practically in the bag. There's alsoComputer Applications, and I can only imagine what that Dragon hatchling will turn out to be. Drawing I already told you about, Precalculus too. History, by a strange stroke of luck I AM NOT FAILING YET. We have a substitute until tuesday I think, and we haven't really had to do that much, just the one worksheet he gave us. Incredibly I'm passing Chemistry (which is much harder than last year's science class, which was really easy, so that's not saying too much). I have a project due there next friday but I have no idea where I put the sheet that tells me what to do. I haven't started on it. English has been fair to me so far, not too much . . . 'Cept that speech. All we have to do on Fridays is read (and keep a log on it. They always manage to sneak some actual work in there, don't they?).
START HERE IF YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY DAYS.
Anyway, I'm sure we're all suffering from school or work. Or both (I wouldn't mind both, I would at least have some FREAKIN' MONEY. I mean, what's the point of releasing Birth By Sleep on the PSP?! WHAT?! I doubt anyone who has followed the KH series so far would want to spend money on buying the PSP to play a game that could easily HAVE BEEN ON THE PS2. But do they stop there? NO. One of the three announced games is for the DS and the other for the mobile. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! DO YOU THINK THE AVERAGE JOE IS SO FILTHY STINKING RICH THAT THEY JUST HAVE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO BUY ALL THAT?! DO YOU?! AND ADD TO THAT THAT THE VERY LAST FINAL KINGDOM HEARTS WILL PROBABLY BE FOR THE PS3, SO THAT'S ANOTHER 600 DOLLARS GONE--DO YOU THINK ANY ONE FAN WILL HAVE A BATHTUB FULL OF MONEY THAT THEY WILL JUST BUY ALL THAT?! WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?!)
Anyway, I had two chances for a job. The first I said no to and the second my mom wouldn't let me have. Gosh . . . If I had just taken the job in the first place I would probably already have all those platforms and I wouldn't be here complaining about it! I don't even know if I have a rare type of blood so I can sell some of it--which would leave me feeling bad anyway, because it's like selling the cure to a dying person.
START HERE IF YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY DAYS OR ABOUT VIDEO GAMES.
So, that's about it. Gonna get to watching Family Guy in like 15 minutes and start on that English assignment. I bid ye farewell and honestly hope your school and/or workdays are going easier.

That's right, at midnight. I haven't bought my supplies yet . . . gonna do that tomorrow . . . And I'm also gonna go watch Mr. Bean's holiday with my parents. I saw the first twenty-something minutes on the internet and there were a couple of funny parts. But just a couple that actually made me laugh. It might get funnier by the end, beats me. Anyway, that's about all I have planned for tomorrow, and then school. I hope some of my better aquintances are in some of my classes, I don't like having to get friendly with people in the classroom all over again . . . It sucks because coincidentally (of course) everyone is almost always already in a "group" and it's just awkward trying to make friends with them. But it doesn't really matter, as long as I get all my assignments done and there are no group things . . . I'm fine. I almost always have a choice anyway.
I really want to get back in the library to see if they have some books I want to read (my mom banned Harry Potter from the house, so I don't know if she'd be willing to take me to the public library anymore). I also hope I have the same English, History, Science and Jewlery teachers. (Four out of seven.) MyHistory teacher really gets into the lessons and explains things fairly well (I just wish I could pay more attention, and I will if I have him again). My science teacher is kind of a goof sometimes but he makes his cla s s es really fun and sometimes does these really cool experiments, and also we get to watch some Mythbusters every now and then (which is always fun). My English teacher actually makes her classes passable (unlike my english teacher previous) and mostly what we do is take notes and such. My Jewlery teacher is really nice and we have some cool projects every now and then (though I could barely get through enameling and Found Objects).
Anyway, that's my blog post for any unknown number of months. Isn't it just so exiting? So what about lal of you? Who's back in school and who's just going back?

7Dec 06My signature was deleted again because it was wider than 550 something pixels. I can't even remember the last time I messed with my signature, so why is it deleted NOW? I wouldn't put it past the moderators that they go around counting pixels on every single signature just looking for something to delete, but it would tick me off a lot more if some person with nothing to do was going around doing it. How many of you have gotten your signature deleted, and just how much were you actualy violating? The least the could do is send you a warning BEFORE it's deleted so you have time to copy/paste whatever it is you have there so you can at least try and make it smaller the next time, if ever, you want to put it back in.

Like the tittle, the credit goes to JimmyXCindy. I got the idea of making a list of all the Taang videos out there when Kim started posting some on the Avatar forum. Plus i'd really like the quick reference. (Since PM's are now deleted from what i know) I'll keep constantly updating the list the more videos i find. I'm such a fanboy.
Thanks to JimmyXCindy again!

21Jun 06Well, i'd say it was somewhat better than the first one. Although its prologue wasn't as good. The whole time you were playing, the story kept you guessing on what would happen next and what wouldn't. And the story was awesome, the gameplay was incredible, and the ending was incredible too. but i'm one of those 'romance story' type of guy, and i am very disappointed that Sora and Kairi didn't kiss! *Sigh* Well, at least i can look forward to a kingdom hearts III and maybe there's still a chance that will happen. Although, there are rumors that Sora won't be a playable character in Kingdom hearts III, and in turn, it could mean there'll be a whole new set of main characters! That makes me so sad. Does anyone share the same feelings? Also, there was a four year interval between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, so that means there won't be a new Kingdom hearts game until 2010! I'm angry and sad at the same time. but mostly sad.

8Jun 06So, after a good long while of hearing from a lot of people how great this game is and all, and even getting a sequel, i decided to get Kingdom Hearts one to see what all the fuzz was about. And honestly, i'm rather disappointed... i've yet to see what's so extremely great about the game. Don't get me wrong, the game in its own category is good, just not as good as everyone seems to think it is... anyhow, if any of you out there have played the first, and/or second Kingdom Hearts, please leave a comment on how well, in your opinion, either of the games were.
