I thought I would make an entry to let you all know that my beautiful son arrived on September 23rd at 9:26am. He is absolutely the love of our lives and we are blissfully happy to have him home. (in time to watch Supernatural on Thursday too!)
Anways, here are a few pics of our little guy.

I miss my show damn it! I looked forward to Thursday nights and now I'm left with nothing!
I am quite curious as to how things are going to work out next year. I have read some interesting interviews with Kripke and it sounds like he is going to put Sam and Dean through the wringer emotionally even worse than in previous seasons. I don't want to give anything away to anyone who doesn't want to know, but I am a little worried about the boys! I'm sure Kripke will not disappoint, he hasn't yet, so I'm not going to worry about it too much. But I miss my show!!
In other news, just in time for the new season and keeping me from the convention in November is my little boy! Aidan is due October 8th and we are super excited about it.

Well, I hope you all had a great Christmas. Mine was not too shabby, but the little one was sick, so we didn't get the festivities started until 9:30 in the morning. You know your kid is sick when they sleep in on Christmas morning. Boxing day was spent at the clinic where we found out she had a massive ear and throat infection and then we got projectile vomited on Exorcist style trying to get the nasty medicine in her that night. So we've just been hanging out at home hoping she'll get better quick. She is in much better spirits today so we just might venture on down to the skating rink.
As for me, I have been playing lots of Guitar Hero and watching a lot of basketball. My Raptors beat San Antonio last night, so I am super stoked about that. CB4 rocks! Hopefully they pull out the win tonight against Houston. GO Raps GO!!!
No big plans for New Year's, it's always just a family drunkfest, and there's no place I'd rather be because I always have a great time with my family. A few years ago we rented a karaoke machine for the night and I was in pain the next day from laughing so hard. Anyways, hope you all have fun on New Year's!
Later!

12Dec 07I think tomorrow looks like a great episode. I'm enjoying this season so far. I love Ruby, but I'm not a big fan of Bela yet.

2Oct 07Well guys, excited as I was, I am now the opposite. We found out yesterday in our ultrasound that our baby had no heartbeat. I was so excited because I was 12 weeks and 12 weeks is when the doctor gave us the ok to tell our daughter. We never got to unfortunately. I am understandably devastated, we tried for this baby for well over a year only to have this happen. I go in for surgery today to have everything taken out and then hopefully in a few months when the pain has dulled a bit, we can try again. Anyways, I thought I would let you all know, as you guys were all so excited for me when I told you the news.

I can't believe that in two more weeks we get our show back! I am so stoked about this season, I think it's going to rule. I've seen a couple of previews and interviews with J2, so I'm really excited to see how everything is going to play out. I've decided to stay as spoiler free this season as possible, i found I enjoyed the suspense a lot more when I had no clue what was coming. I have a general idea of what the first couple of eps are about, but beyond that I'm clueless and loving it. I also can't wait for it to start so we can get some fresh threads going. I haven't done much posting in the last month or two, but I've lurked a fair bit.
One of my fave things about this show is coming on here and seeing all the different interpretations of the characters and episodes.I've recently started watching a new show that originates from Canada (yay Canada!) called Blood Ties that I think most viewers of Supernatural would enjoy. It's about an ex-cop turned private detective and she teams up with a vampire to solve her cases. It's nowhere near the calibre of writing that Supernatural has, but it has potential and the chemistry between the two characters is great. Oh, and the actor that plays the vampire is seriously hot, definitely worth checking out. Anyways, the show is carried on Space, CityTV and Lifetime if any of you are interested. I think Space is only on episode three, so you woudln't be too far behind. I myself missed the pilot, so I'm trying to find it online. The series is based on novels, so i want to get my hands on that too.
Well, less than thirteen days! I can't wait! Hope y'all are doing good!
Ok, so I had to come back and post some pics of the lovely Kyle Schmid who plays Henry Fitzroy, the vampire on Blood Ties. It just had to be done

15Aug 07Ok, so, I know I haven't been around all that much, but that's cause I've been spending a lot of time on other sites! Before you get all defensive, I still love you guys, but guess what! I finally did it! We've been trying and trying and trying for well over a year and it finally happened! WE'RE HAVING BABY #2!!!! I am in a state of shock these days, trying to figure out what to do, who to tell, etc. It's been a really rough go and we actually had an appointment with a fertility doctor next month, but we did it without! Yippee! So, next April I will be a mom of two! I just want to scream it from the rooftops and tell everybody, but there are inherent risks and I don't want to tell everyone just to have to turn around and say something happened, but I did tell my family. Haven't told my daughter yet, she'd broadcast it to everyone, she wants a little Jared very badly.
Ok, so, that's my news!- Posted Aug 15, 2007 2:00 pm PT

SO, like the excited little geek that I am, I have looked forward to seeing Transformers for months now and I finally got to see it this weekend. I went in without many expectations, I knew it could go either way, and I absolutely was blown away. The visual effects left me breathless and the story was solid in my opinion. After the opening sequence I looked at my husband and said "this f-ing rules!" It fulfilled every childhood expectation that I had. My brother and I used to wear out the original movie we'd watch it so much. I can't express how awesome this movie was. Call me a geek if you must, but if you were ever a fan of Transformers, you have to check this movie out, it was one of the best action movies I've ever seen. I wanted to turn around and watch it again as soon as it was over, and I'm not one who is easily impressed at the movies.
Back to the topic at hand, Supernatural that is........... I have been seeing guest stars from this show everywhere I look. I saw Mary on Transformers, the Crossroads Demon in a Special K commercial, and Emmanuelle Vaugier from Heart in Andromeda. And of course I must announce it to anyone within earshot that they are from Supernatural, like anybody else would care
Oh well, you know you are obsessed when.............. I'm really looking forward to next season from the spoilers I've read, so October can't come fast enough for me!!- Posted Jul 9, 2007 9:09 pm PT

Well, I won't bore you with the details, but needless to say, I thought summer was looking up, but someone seems to be determined to throw a wrench in my plans to relax. Instead I'm constantly anxious and upset about the things that are happening in my life. Things that are really out of my control. I know I shouldn't worry so much and generally I'm not a worrier, but stuff has just started to snowball and get bigger and bigger. Ok, enough said, feel a little better just putting it out there.
I am super happy that Supernatural will be coming back for a third season, but deeply concerned that it will be altered, or in another form other than what I've come to love so much.
The show rules and what I love so much about it is the extremely well developed characters of Sam and Dean and their relationship. Let's face it; beyond the ghosts and the demons, Sam and Dean and their relationship, family, is at the core of this show. It's why I tune in every week, to see them together. I am not sure the show will have the same impact or will affect me the same way if Sam and Dean are separated on a regular basis and they have thrown in eye candy purely to gain viewership.
I have complete faith in Eric Kripke, Sera Gamble, and any other writers who have contributed to what Supernatural is now, and that they will make the best of this situation. I love seeing Sam and Dean onscreen together and the more time they spend apart with other characters, the more afraid I become that they will be taking away from that relationship by adding others. If this was the writers ideas, I'm sure I'm worried for nothing, it's just the "series regulars" that bothers me. I understand that Jensen and Jared have a massive workload and that this may be a way to alleviate that. Believe me, I don't want J2 to burn out or fall ill or get hurt or anything of the sort. But in my eyes, J2 have worked their asses off to make these characters come to life and make the show what it is now. They are the only two who deserve to be "series regulars'. It's their series, they've made it. To give two new and untested actresses that status almost seems to me a tad disrespectful to the amount of work that Jensen and Jared have put in thus far.
That being said, regardless of the predictions and my worries, and even if this season turns out to be total crap, I'm in this for the long haul. I'd watch and support the show no matter what because I support the actors and writers who may not be the ones in control at this point. So I'll write my letter expressing my concerns, and then park my @ss lovingly in front of the TV every Thursday night next season and for any following seasons, cause at this point, I'm too addicted to quit anyway.
Later,
Hotz

I still don't have my internet (they're saying Monday), but I just had to let everybody know how much I absolutely loved 2.21!!!!
The eppy rocked!!! I loved everything about it, especially how every possibility that I thought up for this episode wasn't even close!! That Kripke is so damn good!!! I'll post more about this later.
This is just gonna be a short one, but I thought I'd also let everybody know about a new site that I came across through my mom in law. It's www.teamwinchester.com It's pretty cool and has a lot of avatars and wallpaper and banners, like the one below. You can also join and help promote our wonderful show! Check it out!!

Ok, this is going to be a total rant, but I'm pissed, so here goes. I hate commercial companies who control everything so that it doesn't matter how they treat their customers. I decided to shut off my home phone because my husband and I each have cell phones, and three days later, the phone/internet company shuts off our internet. We had no notice, nothing, just shut off, just like that. Phoned, got the run around, now they're telling us we have to pay the month in advance, then wait a few days for it to clear, then call and have our internet service set back up again. What the hell!!!!! They could have contacted us and let us know to do this before they shut our internet off, we certainly would have jumped through their hoops since my husband and I both use the internet on a daily basis. It makes me so mad
So they're saying wednesday at the earliest, and that's a full week without service. I could scream, thank goodness they have dealt with my husband and not me because they would have learned a whole new vocabulary if it had been me.On another note, I really enjoyed What is and What Should Never Be. I spent the first fifteen minutes saying, man he's so beautiful until my husband pointed out that Dean was cleanshaven in this episode and that's what was different. I also enjoyed the innocence in Sam. I thought it was a great story overall, but won't get too spoilery

Anyways, miss you guys tons, will be on a few times this weekend as I'm staying at mom in laws, so talk to you guys all later!

Well, I don't know about anybody else, but I really enjoyed this episode. I liked it from start to finish. Having gone back and watched it again, you really notice some of the subtle hints they threw into the episode to let you know where they were headed. I had a good idea that they were getting caught on purpose. I've never seen them wear gloves during a job before, ever, and the fact that they would not notice a motion detector was unfathomable to me. And also, like Paley said, Dean wasn't wearing any of his jewelry, so you knew something was up. Later on as well, the exchange between Deacon and Dean sort of let you know what Deacon's role was. Very subtle and misinterpreted on the first viewing by me, but I definitely noticed it the second time. Finally, there were some classic Dean lines in there that I loved: "Don't worry Sammy, I won't trade you for smokes." and "I think I'm adorable" Was there ever a truer statement uttered about Dean Winchester? He is absolutely adorable, no matter what he does to try and hide it. Just my opinions tho

In other news, I finally hit my 1000th post, YAY! Thanks to everybody who showed me the ropes and made me feel welcome, I've had a great time so far! It's nice to have someone to share your obsession with!
Well, I'll leave you all with a few pics! Cheers!

I'm not quite sure why, but I wasn't as in to Hollywood Babylon as I have been past episodes. I really enjoyed the plot, loved the dialogue, the inside jokes and references to the show and all that. I really didn't like the guest actress from this episode, I thought she looked a bit weird (eyes that looked like they were too far apart and looking in opposite directions) and I didn't like her voice, a little to deep, especially when horror film stars generally have a bloodcurling scream that can shatter glass. But other than that, I can't find anything much wrong with the episode, so I don't know why I wasn't wowed by it. Maybe it's because it's not related to the final few episodes that will deal with Sam's fate, and I'm so anxious and crazy with anticipation for those episodes. Maybe it's that the last episode we saw was so deep and emotional and angsty and then it's like a 180 after the hiatus and it's so light. Who knows, maybe I'll be wowed by it later in subsequent viewings.
Other than that, life isn't too bad these days. I can't believe that there are only two and a half months left of school, then the kids are on summer break and I start getting ready for next year! I also can't believe my little one will be four next month! Seems like she just started walking and talking not too long ago! My goodness they grow fast! Enjoy little children while you can, you can never get those years back!
Oh well, that's all for now, as usual, some eye candy for everybody!
Enjoy!

Well, must say this has been the week from Hell for me. Way too much family drama. Having to parent your parents is no fun at all, especially when they act like rebellious teenagers. Long long story, but needless to say, spent many a sleepless night and a lot of time crying this week.
Have no desire to spend Easter with them unfortunately, just want to hide out here, then go see the inlaws. I swear, you folks here have kept me sane and have made me laugh a lot this week, so thanks a million, you know who you are.
Well, talked to the inlaws last night and guess what they were watching when I called? You guessed it, SUPERNATURAL!!!!! I take this as a sign that they are truly converted! Woot, woot! I have to bring them season 2 that I downloaded so they can get caught up before the new eppy on April 19th. Watched Hunted again tonight, loved it again! Can't wait for the Brits to catch up so we can chat about it! Am getting super anxious about the finale. I've read a few spoilers, and really don't want to know any more until I see it, but I swear, if that evil Kripke makes me endure a cliffhanger where one of the boys dies and I have to wait four months to find out what happened, I'm gonna hunt the bugger down myself, he can't do this to us!!!! PS, if you know something that I don't please don't tell me about it, I really don't want to know. Feel free to speculate away though!!

Well, that's all for now, hope the Easter bunny brings you all lots of candy (eye candy by way of GT posts that is!!!

Well, it's back to work tomorrow unfortunately...... Only a few months to go until summer tho! Well, I pretty much accomplished what I wanted to over the week. I bought my guitar hero and played until I hit a roadblock. The hard level is really quite hard. If anyone has tips for me I'd greatly appreciate them
I also managed to get my three people hooked on SN! I took my season one dvds home with me and got the mom in law hooked, the father in law hooked and the sis in law hooked
Yay! I just have to work on my mom now........ She's hard to pin down long enough to watch. I hope they get all the bugs ironed out of this site pretty soon as well, its getting pretty irritating to have to post three times before it works. Makes me wanna scream! Oh well, I'll leave you all with something to ponder.
Pretty darn cute when he's got a gun huh?

23Mar 07Well, the countdown has been on for me for days now and truth be told, my mind has been on spring break for a week now
. So I am so happy to be able to have the time to relax!!! I have several missions to complete over my short holiday. I am going to visit friends and family back home and my goal is to get at least four of them hooked on Supernatural while I am there. I am going armed with my Season One DVD and I am going to try and get my hands on a few season two episodes from itunes I think. I'm sure it won't be that difficult to do, as soon as they see a few eppys I'm sure they will be as hooked as the rest of us!!
My second goal is to buy and play as much Guitar Hero as I can. I am so not a video gamer, but a few weeks back I played with my brother and sister in law and fell in love with the game. We are going to have a Guitar Hero/Supernatural weekend. Should be fun!!
Watched Heart again tonight, and cried again. I'm such a sap, lol. I'm sure I'm going to be a mess by season end. Have a good weekend everybody!!!- Posted Mar 23, 2007 8:31 pm PT

22Mar 07Ok, I was blown away by this episode! I sort of knew what to expect, but I spent the whole episode in anticipation of what was coming, and I don't mean the sex scene, although even that was very well done. I think that Sam and Madison had a great connection, both had some of the same angst issues in common and when they connected it was urgent and almost animal. Very well done IMO. But the killer for me was the last few scenes. When Dean takes the gun out of Madison's hands and offers to kill her so that Sam doesn't have to, I was done for. And the scene between the two of them at the end, where Sam says he's gotta be the one to kill Madison and his tears, and Dean's reaction, those two had my crying like a baby, and I'm not one to shed tears over a television show. The pain in Dean's eyes at the end was just unbearable. Jensen and his face and the way he emotes without saying a word is so absolutely amazing. I really think that Jensen and Jared have outdone themselves. This episode was so well acted it's scary. I think the Sam/Madison relationship parallels the Sam/Dean relationship very well. Dean sees Sam doing something that he may have to face later on, and Sam can do it, but will Dean be able to if it comes down to it? Man, I am going to have an ulcer by finale time!!! I can't wait to watch this episode again. I'll hold off doing my review until then. Let me know what you though of this episode! I think it's my new favorite.

18Mar 07Awww, the weekend is over and it's back to work for me!!!! One more week to Spring Break though! I thought it was way cool that Keith Decandido was actually on this site and answering our questions. I will definitely be buying a few of his books right away. Just wanted to say thanks to all on this site for making me feel welcome. I have never blogged or posted on sites before this one and you have all made me feel right at home here, so thanks! It's nice to have a place to come to and discuss our common obsession. I live in a teeny tiny town in Manitoba, Canada, so I don't get many opportunities to chat to people with common interests, but if I have my way, I will convert everyone in this one horse town to Supernatural, muuaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

17Mar 07Yay, the site is finally working again. I went back and watched IMTOD this morning while I was waiting for this site to sort itself out. I noticed so many more neat things about Supernatural. That is one thing I love about this show. I can watch the episodes over and over again and I still feel like I'm learning something new every time. I went back to watch it again because there were a lot of comparisons being drawn to Roadkill this week. Having watched it again, I completely agree that the reasons for Dean's being detached were probably that it was too much of a reminder for him of what he went through, almost becoming a spirit permanently himself.
In other news, I am soooo happy that we get a new episode next week before having to endure another break. I was under the impression that Heart was after the next hiatus, but was happily suprised to find out that it's on next week!!! It looks like a great episode, full of everything that a fan could ask for: the banter, the great monster (werewolf), some lovin for our boy Sam, and of course the angst when they find out she is not just a pretty girl. I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait!!!- Posted Mar 17, 2007 8:49 pm PT

16Mar 07Just a bit of a b***chy rant I'm gonna go on cause I'm beyond frustrated. I'm trying to do my nightly visit to the site, and over the course of the last few nights, this site has had more and more problems loading for me. It goes all white, then won't load at all. Earlier today the whole site didn't exist for about two hours and now when I try to click on the next page of a thread it only stays at the first. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! It's soooooooo annoying. This site needs a serious can of RAID opened up on it. I love this site and I wanna get in there!!! Fix it please???!!!!
