Federer was holding the Swiss Flag!!

In the interview, they asked asked to choose between meeting his gf and holding the flag and he chose Mirka! His explanation was that he was with her for 8 years but held the flag for only 20 mintues. So both mean a lot, but Mirka is more special!! Agreed!

OFF COURT - ROGER, BORG AND MCENROE HEADLINE SHOWDOWN IN MALAYSIA
Our star Roger and tennis legends Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe will headline the "Showdown of Champions Kuala Lumpur 2008", an extravaganza of challenge matches at the 12,000 seat Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on November 18.

A fourth player, either newly crowned Wimbledon Champion Rafael Nadal or American ace James Blake will complete the cast at the star studded entertainment extravaganza.

The format of the event is especially interesting as it will culminate in a doubles showdown involving all four players. The format of the event will see one set between Borg and McEnroe followed by one set between Federer and the fourth player. The final doubles set will pit Federer and Borg against McEnroe and the other star.

It is anticipated that fans from all around the region will make their way to Malaysia to catch these "Greats" in action. This comes in the wake of the highly successful matches here last year. This year however will be the first time such an array of tennis superstars, both past and present, will be taking part in such an event in this region.

There will be an element of charity in this year's event where fans may bid on-line for a host of signed player items and experiences such as the on-court coin toss with the players for each of the three matches. The players have their own charities and foundations which they will contribute to through the event. The four charity organisations that the players will contribute to, through the event, are the Roger Federer Foundation and a charity of choice of Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe's Foundation and either the Rafael Nadal Foundation or James Blake's Cancer Charity at Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, USA.

Federer's reign at No. 1 under imminent threat

Roger Federer's hopes of retaining the ATP World No. 1 ranking in coming weeks took a major hit Wednesday night when he suffered a shock first-up loss to new Indianapolis champion Gilles Simon at the Rogers Cup.

Federer twice held a service break in the final set agaist Simon but paid the price for more than 20 unforced forehand errors en route to a 2-6, 7-5, 6-4 defeat.

Should World No. 2 Rafael Nadal win the Rogers Cup this week, the Spaniard would have the chance next week at the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati to dethrone Federer, who has held top spot in the South African Airways Rankings for 234 consecutive weeks (since February 2004).

Nadal is 770 points behind Federer this week but could cut that lead to a mere 275 points should he win the Rogers Cup, which he did in Montreal in 2005. While Nadal could take No. 1 in Cincinnati if he reached the final and Federer again bowed out early, any change at the top is unlikely to happen before August 18 - two weeks after Cincinnati - due to a calendar shift this season to accommodate the Olympics.

Last year, ATP Masters Series events in Canada and Cincinnati were played two weeks later in the season than they are being played this year. Because points earned by players count towards their rankings for 52 weeks, the 850 points Federer earned last year by reaching the Canada final and winning the Cincinnati title will continue to count towards his ranking during the same Masters Series tournaments this year.

Come August 18, those 850 points will no longer count towards Federer's ranking. In contrast, Nadal will drop 230 points (225 points for reaching the Rogers Cup semifinals in 2007 and five points for losing his first match in Cincinnati in 2007.)

Federer and Nadal have been No. 1 and 2 in the South African Airways ATP Rankings every week since July 25, 2005 when Nadal became No. 2. Federer has ranked a record 234 consecutive weeks at No. 1 (since Feb. 2, 2004) and Nadal for 157 straight weeks at No. 2.

Okay. Honestly I have a confession. I'm losing interest in Lost. Totally!. I don't know why. Maybe cause I don't understand it anymore or that Jack and Kate don't end up together. The way they fought I don't think they'd like to see each other's face for another decade!! I'd still watch it cause I've seen most of it..I might as well see the "grand ending" or whatever. Also I'm grieving cause Federer lost. *SIGH* I can't believe he did. I'm so going to watch the Rogers Masters and hope he beats the defending champion Nole...Novak Djokovic. I love him as well. He is adorable.

I only recently found out that Jack finds out Claire is his step sister. What can I say? I've been waiting forever for that to happen. I wonder what Jack will do next!!

Also, my birthday was on May 16th. I had gone to Malaysia for a holiday. It coincided with my birthday. I didnt go into KL, instead we went to this island called Langkawi. It was amazing!! For my birthday, we went parasailing, jetskiing, canoeing, in a banana boat and many other water sports. We (my family and I) had one hell of a time. Phew!! I was so tired, so happy!!! Then we stayed there for a couple more days and then flew back home. I know this entry is pretty late but I've been busy!!

There wasn't much to see from the street, but when a group of extras made a run for craft services they were impossible to miss. Party hats, loud shirts, a couple of cheesy plastic lei. it certainly looked as if Hurley has something to celebrate. Word is it was a surprise party for Hurley's birthday, and in attendance were Sayid and Nadia, and Kate and Aaron.

I was just wondering, how would I want them to find out they are step-siblings??

1. Everybody is on the beach and Jack and Claire are talking to each other and Christian walks out of the forest and both, in unison go "Dad?? What the hell are you doing here?"

Then look at each other and say "Dad? What do you mean Dad?".

2. Jack sees Christian and follows him to Jacob's cabin and he sees Claire there. He wants to know what's going on. (He needs to know everything..).

3. Sawyer sees Claire with her dad and remembers Christian. He tells Jack. (?)

I dont know. i was pretty bored so I thought of this.

You can add some if you want. With all the drama, tears, emotion, whatever you want.

So, I really din't know what happened. Here is what i picked up from a couple of helpful, sweet people:

* In the barrack, the phone rings and someones gives a code to John Locke. He asks Ben what it means and he says it means "trouble" and that they "are coming".He gives them instructions and hands Sawyer a gun.

* The freighter people start attacking the barracks (Ben).

* Sawyer rushes to warn (rescue??) Hurley, Claire and Aaron. Hurley and Aaron are safe while Claire is still inside a house. Sawyer nears that house when its blown up. But he finds Claire, she is just unconscious.

* They brutelessly kill people.

* They use Alex as a hostage and ask Ben to surrender. When he refuses to, pretending he doesn't care about her, they kill her.

* On the beach, Jack tells Kate he isn't feeling too well, something with his stomach. He assures her that they are going to get off the island.

* Somebody, whose throat is slit ( a doctor??) washes up on the beach. Bernard calls out their names (where the hell is Rose??) . Anyway, he is from the boat.

* Jack asks Faraday angrily if they were going to be rescued and he says NO. Then Jack looks very sick and falls down (?).

* Sawyer and Claire (with some others...I don't know who all) start tekking back to the beach. Hurley stays to help Ben and Locke find Jacob (to tell them what to do next).

This is what I've gathered. I know, the information is very vague and probably incorrect. I was hoping you guys could add more points and correct mine. Thanks you guys who gave me a brief summary of what all happend. I appreciate it!

So wednesday night was 1 hell of a night for LOST fans. I mean to say that it was such a well-written and amazing episode. I'm just upset that the crew's well guarded secret was leaked out ( flash-forward). I can imagine their misery over that. Other than that :

* jacket kiss

* jack tells kate he loves her

* naomi is killed by locke with a knife in her back ( but who is naomi since penny didnt know head or tail of her )

* jack gets the better of ben ( YAY jack )

* WALT helps locke out of his pit in which he was left to die by ben

* michael is nowhere to be seen

*alex and rousseou are re-united

* jack is able to contact penny ( already mentioned i guess)

* charlie dies

* FLASH-FORWARD:

~jack and kate are seen in a flash forward where jack attends a funeral, after reading the newspaper learning the person's death

~ he is so moved by the person's death that he was about to jump of a bridge and comit suicide when a car accident occurs nearby and instead he goes there to help out

~ he sees his ex-wife pregnant

~ jack takes drugs and is drunk

~ he gets caught by the current doctor to which he replies " if im more drunk than my father upstairs,  fire me "

~ he desperately tries to call someone up

~ turns out to be KATE OF ALL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~ he asks her why she didnt attend the funeral to which she replies " why would i go"

 ~ she says " i have to go back before he realizes im missing " ... something similar anyway

~ he say's we have to go back and she drives away

~ it ends with him yelling " WE HAVE TO GO BACK!"
