Grand Web Log: Stubby_01's Stories

15Jun 07
So yea, since my last blog post my driving has become a lot better.. I've been out practising for about 3 or 4 hours every weekend, and I've yet to make a big mistake.. The worst I've done is nearly running a red light lol. I haven't been out driving in more then a week though, cuz my dads been in Melbourne so theres no one really here to coach me.
I had exams a few weeks ago, and I gotta say, I did pretty bad... I failed all but one of my papers, and that totals up to 8 big "Ns" (not achieved)..Only thing I managed to pass was Chemistry, which is my favourite subject. But yea.. overall result = terrible. Gave me a big wake up call.. So I decided to study everyday, not matter what. Pulling my socks up.. Even though those exams didn't matter too much. They're just there for practise.. but if I failed those, I'd suck big time in my End of Year Externals, which will decide my future.
But on a happier note, I'm one of the 7 people in my class who passed our lastest physics paper. Yep.. Physics is HARD.
Ahh.. I also sorta postponed playing RE4. I dunno why, but the game just didnt grow on me that much. I mean I like it a lot, but I always feel like I should be doing other things instead of playing it.. So I'm just gonna wait till the two weeks holidays and make it my objective to clock it then. Thats in two weeks now btw.. I can't wait !

My brother also borrowed the Gundam Seed series of anime from his friend - I just finished watching the season a few days ago. I absolutely loved it ! One of my favourite animes ever.. Anyway, I'm watching Seed Destiny now, and its pretty disapointing for a sequel.. One thing I don;t really like about it are the characters... Even though most of them are back from Seed, the new main characters are pretty lame.
I'd love to take any recomendations for anime to watch after Destiny.. So if you like something and think I should watch it, I probably will. Only ones I have in mind right now are Gundam Wing, Howls Moving Castle and Spirited Away lol.. So I'd appreciate any recomendations !
Finally, on my blog tittle, I was talking about - you guessed it, MGS: PO
Its been a long long long time coming to NZ, and I pre-ordered it a month ago, and Gameplanet finally emailed me yesterday telling me that they got the shipment of stock and I'll be getting my game by Wednesday
I'm definetly not going to quit this game, I promised myself that. MGS 3 is one of my favourite games of all time, and a sequel to that.. its gonna be golden. Woohoo !!
So that's all happening in Ameets gaming world... Not much I know. It's all gonna change after MGS arrives. Anyway, thanks for reading yawl.. I really appreciate it. Sorry if its a bit long..
Cya later and take care !

Finaly, after months of procrastination, I did the theory test yesterday and got my learners licence!
This means I can get on the road and start to learn how to drive legally
which is probably gonna be the hard part. But I can't wait
I'm supposed to use this for atleast 6 months until I can get my Restricted, which just mean I can drive on my own (and not with people who don't have their full licences) between 10 pm and 5 am. Then year later, after I do a defensive drivers course, I can get my Full license. Then its all sweet

Anyway, I've really gotten into RE4. Luvin' it so far .. I haven't made much progress yet though. Its quite hard though
so I started playing it on Easy lol. What everybody thinking about the new comment rating feature? I think its annyoing lol... It'll work if we didnt have the type of people that just throw the thumbs down just to try and be funny .
Anyway thats me for now, cya yawl later! and thanks for reading

Hey people.
Sooo... it didn't take me too long to finish Ace Combat X .. Its a good thing and bad. Good thing is that I get to play other games now. Bad thing is that it was short, and I wish it was longer simply because it was so much fun... I didn't expect to get as much fun out of it as I did. I'm definitely going to pick up the PS2 games now.
Teh Ratings:

I loved its presentation as well. It had a nice story, more then what you would expect from a game like that. And music in it was awesome as well... A must own for PSP owners

In other news, I read on Gameplanet.co.nz that the new Killzone Downloadable package will be available in the 21st of May, a Monday two weeks from now... I hope that it actually will, and I can't wait
I'm not sure if I have a big enough memory card though, I sold my 2gig and I'm living on a 32 mb. Its not really a big deal for me, because as much as I love my music I don't really need to take it everywhere with me.. and I only use my PSP for games. I might need to buy a 1G now lol. Woohoo Killzone online... Can't wait

Anyway, I think that I'm gonna stray away from my PSP for a little while and go back to the PS2. I haven't used my PS2 in a long, long time... So I decided to get on with completing Resident Evil 4. My bro has had this game for a while and I think its time I clock it and see for myself what the big fuss is about. I've never clocked a RE game before, although I've played a bit of the first game on the PS1 and bits of RE4.

And before I go, here's a pic of a crazy glitch I came across in VCS (sorry about the pic quality, all I had was a phone camera):
Yep, thats a car stuck under a brigde
Thanks for reading, and cya!

Hi there, everyone... Its been a long time since I've made a real blog post (apart from my shameless bebo advertising). I've been holding out until I finished Vice City Stories...
And that was a great game. It really brought back memories of how I used to play San An for like 6 hours straight lol.. ahh good times..
It took me a long time to finish it, mainly because I've been busy with all my year 12 school work plus family stuff and so on.
Anyway it was well worth the money, and I'd highly recommend it to any PSP owner, especially GTA fans. My ratings:

Its been a long time since I've played any other game, so I decided to go and clock Ace Combat. I've got a lot of games to complete...
Ace Combat is awesome, first few missions have showed me how fun it is and how great the story is. I think I'm going to pick the PS2 versions since this is the first one I've played... this games makes me want to join the Navy

I don't think I'm going to buy any games soon, I've got heaps to play already and theres no point in having them collect dust... But MGS PO is a must when it comes out
I've seen a few movies at the Cinemas lately, but one that I loved the most was 300. You probably heard enough about it by now though lol. I've seen it twice, once at IMAX. And thats a big screen. That was lovely ^_^
I had planned to watch Spiderman 3 when it premired, but I don't think thats going to be happening... but I'm gonna find time one day to go to the new Hoyts cinemas that opened, their "Cinemaxx" screen is supposed to be the biggest in the world... Cool aye? Its hard to believe something like thats in NZ...
Anyway, thanks for reading and take care. Cya

I can't really think of good blog tittles these days.
Anyway, hey ya'll, its been about a week since I wrote a blog, so I was just decided to post one today after I finished Tokobot .
Yea Tokobot was great. Its a really unique platformer, and it has you going to through some pretty tough levels with a bunch of robot thingy's helping you in creative ways. It was pretty hard for me in some spots, but in the end it was pretty satisfying. And yea the end did come quick. I definitely recommend it if you can find it for a cheap price (like I did) and if you're into your PSP.
Ratings:
I'm also having a great time with OutRun. Its pretty fun but I think the PS2 version maybe better because of better looking graphics and tighter controls. Sometimes its hard too keep control of your car on that small screen. I'll be rating it soon....
I started playing Vice City Stories too. Its really awesome, reminds of the times I used to come home from school, throw my bag and play San Andreas for 7+ hours straight, hehe. I haven't gotten much progress, but so far there's nothing really bad about it. Its just the radio has songs I don't really like. Maybe only one or two songs. But overall has that same GTA feeling for me...
Oh and btw, anybody else excited about the GTAIV trailer? I know I am
MGS Portable Ops and Ratchet and Clank Size Matters have also been delayed again
. I'm sorta happy though, gives me time to play catch up and save up money.
It was last week sometime that I got around to watch Wild Hogs at the Cinemas... Its not as bad as some people say, IMO. Its pretty funny, but def not a must watch. If you looking for something funny to watch and you can't find anything else, Wild Hogs should definitely do the trick. But you should be able to find something funnier like... Hot Fuzz!! That movie was awesome. Nicely done action scenes at hilarious at the same time. I'd definitely recommended that all you watch it with your mates, its one of the best movies out there right now

I also hired out Borat on DVD. Its as funny as you probably heard before... I don't know why it took me so long to watch it
Lastly, I made a new signature for myself:
Its been a long time since I've done anything with Photoshop. Tell me what you reckon. I think that I'll be changing some other images on my profile soon too....
So yea that's it for now I guess...Cya l8er, and thanks for reading

16Mar 07Hey there everyone, long time no see
So yea it took me longer then I thought it would, but I finally beat Killzone's single player mode on Normal. I haven't gotten 100% yet, and I might be putting a half hour of my days into that. It was really one of the best experiences I've had on the PSP, and frustrating in times too. Loved the graphics, sounds and gameplay bits, but I just wished it had more levels with vehicles in them. And I guess in the end its difficulty prolonged the experience. And it made it beating the game feel all the more satisfying. My rating:
I can't wait for new Multiplayer Patch!
I hope it has online Co-op as well though. I heard its going to be released early next month. Lets hope so...
I keep on forgetting to get on those Side Quests on FFXII these days... I haven't touched my PS2 controller in a long time... Can't seem to find really to play all my games... I'm not so sure I'm gonna be doing them now...
Anyway, on to the new purchases:
Gameplanet.co.nz was having a stock clearance sale, so I decided to scoop up on these games with the little money I had while I had the chance. I haven't even opened them yet, but right now I've planned to play OutRun and Tokobot for my clocking purposes. Vice City gets added to my "get to later list", which also has
Mega Man Powered Up
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
Everybodys Golf
and Ace Combat on it.
I was happy to hear that Tokobot didn't last too long from Gamespot, its gonna make going through the games a lot easier.
I think I'm building up quite a good collection for my PSP... its gonna look golden soon...
Yep, I think I've developed a PSP fetish... I think about it more then anything else these days....
Add these games to the ones that I haven't gotten yet, that haven't been released yet, the PS2 games that I still have to play, and my future temporary Xbox (which my friend fixed
)
and I've got a lot of things to do while I wait for a PS3 price drop, hehe.
So thanks for reading, and cya later

4Mar 07Hey there friends
Just posting a short gaming blog for now
Umm in the PS2 side of things, I don't have Bully anymore
My friend took it back for some reason. But I'm only a little dissapointed... After playing an hour or so it grew a lot on me... Its was pretty fun... And I'll get to play it once he's done with it and so its algud.
Right now I'm focusing on the side stuff on FFXII and Lumines. I'm also going to start anew on Killzone: Liberation. I went through a lot on that game but I decided to start again because I stayed away from it so long that I pretty much lost any skill I got from it. Gotta start working through all those PSP games that haven't been touched in ages. So I guess that's it. Cya fellas

2Mar 07Hey yawl...... I haven't been around these days... had some things to deal with...
Anyway, so you know how I got the Xbox... yea it didn't work. I called up my friend, and he told me to let it cool off for about 5 hours. 3 days later, it still didn't work. So I got my PS2 back
I'm a little dissapointed... I don't get to place those great games you mentioned now....
But, I'll try getting one by some other means some other time, I might even buy one (and sell it once I'm done with it). But for now its just my PS2 and PSP....
On a better note, I got Bully off a friend of mine and my bro bought MK Amargeddon. And I'm getting addicted to Lumines
that game is awesome. I'm gonna start playing Bully soon too.
So that's it for now.... I'll be checking out your blogs now.... Cya- Posted Mar 2, 2007 1:38 am PT

25Feb 07OK, first things first. Miami Vice was very nice, but it didn't last too long. I finished it sooner then I expected. And it was pretty easy. Like I said before, its like RE4 - controls and camera perspective are similar. So that paid off, and I think its one of the most under appriciated games out there. I think you should read the full GS review if you're intersted, its really on point.
Anyway, like tittle says, I got an Xbox. And hell no I didn't buy one... I traded my PS2 with my friends Xbox. Not too keeps though, just so he can play FFXII and stuff and I can play Fable and stuff. Not a bad idea aye?
So I don't have Fable yet (me and my friend are gonna pay 50/50 each to buy it) but the best thing he's giving me right now is Halo 2. I've clocked Halo on PC before, but I didn't really like it that much. Anyway, I've planned to hire out Chronicles of Riddick and Conker to experience them. Only problem is that most good non-multiplatform Xbox games I know off are shooters. So if any of you nice people think that theres a game on that system that I have to play, then please tell me so.
Getting this system means that I'm gonna have to focus primarily on it, since I need to beat games fast cuz I have to return it. So that means more time away from my PSP
I so wanted to get back into Killzone. But with school and all, I don't really have time these days to spend with games. Right now I've got a **** load of accounting and chemistry homework to deal with -_-'
So, thanks for reading. And remember, Xbox games that I have to play. Later

19Feb 07Hey yawl. How you been doing? Been a while since I blogged. Well, I'm back with another little one.
So I clocked FFXII, in around 80 hours
I initially planned to paly more then 100 hours, but... I didn't.... I might go back to play the side stuff some other time though. My characters are only around level 45 lol. But I managed to beat the main boss.
Anyway, I gotta say that was a really cool game. I mean it. You probably heard/read this heaps of times, so I'll say it again
Tottaly worth the import.... And I clocked it before it came in the country
hehe
So now I'll pop one of my unique never seen before rating board thingy's:
Superb with a capital S
Definetly in my top 15.
Oh and, thanks to tbui54.... Your tips really helped, and I'm gonna pass on the knowlegde to my friends who are soon to be FFXII'ers.
I also wrote a little review for it at this place.... seeing some negative stuff so I hoped to change some poeple's minds. Scroll down, its from 'subb', if you wanna read.
Anyhoo, school started a week ago, so that means less time to have fun. Year 12 isn't bad, its more relaxing and feels more comfortable to be in. Yea...
Its also been a loong time since I played anyother games, so I'm jump on the PSP games I've got remaining. My friend gave
Miami Vice so I'm gonna get straight into that. I played it a bit and my first impressions are: Its like a RE4 ripoff. Its fun, but the gameplay is almost exactly like RE4. Hold R to aim, and X to shoot.
Anyways thats it for now... so cya, and thanks for reading

26Jan 07Hey there
I just got back last night from Melbourne... And it was.... okay I guess
Most of it was fine, hanging around with family and cousins around my age. The worst thing about the trip was all the little 5 yr cousins I had to stay with. They were unbelievably annoying. I mean it... I was scared to take out my PSP cuz I knew they would eat it. Ughhhhh....
Another crap thing was that my mom didn't organise anything properly.. So its like everyday we were going to a different uncle of mines house randomly. Thats the thing about my Indian family, its freakin' huge. I've got relatives everywhere. So I didn't really go sight seeing or even into the city.
On the plus side though, I met some fun new people, cousins my age I never knew I had. 7+ of them
I met them a few days before I left, so I wished just then I could've stayed for a while longer and hang out with them more. They said they could've taken me to the city if I did
And thankfully, an Aunt of mine took us shopping a few times. I sorta think clothing stores suck there, but I found some stuff that suited my taste. So I bought some nice clothes too
I also got Everybody's Golf, Lumines and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X for my PSP
Old games I know, but I always wanted to have them and I found them to be cheaper then what they would cost in NZ. My aunt paid for them as a birthday gift
I also bought Boyz N The Hood on UMD. I'm not a big UMD fan or anything, but its one of my favourite movies and I thought it would be cool to watch on the go. I'm also planning to buy Advent Children and King Kong on UMD soon.... but thats all.
On a side note, I've decided to hold back on playing all those PSP games. Right now, I'm gonna work on FF 12 and maybe some occasional Tekken DR. I don't think I'll be able to enjoy them as much if I play them all at same time
Anyway, to sum it up, the trip sucked at first but got really good near the end. And I'd say it was well worth it. Melbourne is pretty similar to Auckland so I liked it alot. I think things will be better when I go another time, because now I know where to go and what to do. Maybe I'll go when those kids grow up...
So I'd rate that trip - 7/10 - Good. I'l like to go again sometime, and maybe for a longer time
Anyway I'll be catching up on your blogs right about now, so see ya'll, and thanks for reading

19Jan 07Hey there.. Just posting to say that I'm going to be away for a while.. because I'm going to Melbourne!
Like I said I would a loong time ago in one of my blogs... Anyway, its my first time going there, so I hope I have fun. I'm only going for a week or so though...
I'll catch up on your blogs etc when I come back
Oh and, next Wednesday (Jan 24th) is my birthday! So wish me happy birthday

14Jan 07Hey ya'll, been a while since I've blogged. How have you been? I've been good lol... Anyway, I'm back with a few things to talk about... Mainly:

Finally! I found a deal on trademe that I couldn't resist, so I thought I'd skip Bully for now. I've played about 30 hours into it and so far I am very very pleased. Though I think it's pretty hard, especially for a non-frequent RPG gamer like me. Yea I need to spend time a lot of time leveling up... If you any of you RPG experts (*cough*tbui54*cough*) can give me some advice or hints please do so...
What's very cool is that I paid $90 for it when its gonna retail for $130 here in NZ which I paid for using the money I got for Christmas

I also bought a few PSP games, games which needed to be on my slow growing PSP collection;

and
I'm loving all of those games, especially Tekken: DR. I thought twice before getting Ace Combat X, because I haven't played a Ace Combat game before, and haven't played a air combat game since After Burner on Sega (at least I think it was a Sega console). But I'm very pleased with it so far, in fact I'm thinking about getting into the PS2 series. Anyway, I'll be rating and talking more about these games once I finish them.
Ugh, so much for one game at a time -_-'
Oh yea I also bought some more stuff with my money, including a lot of clothes and gear and some classic albums;

I'm listening to the Fugees right now... All albums = extreme pleasure
I also got Eminem's The Re-Up album from my uncle... and, well lets just say I'm not the 50 Cent or G-Unit fan.. But I like the last song which Eminem did himself...
Anyway, that's it for today, so I'll be saying goodbye for now....
See you all later

Hello there fellow Gamespotters. How have you all been doing? I've been great since I made my last blog. My exams finished a long time ago, and I'm relieved. Results will be with me sometime next month, so untill then I'm not going to think about anything that has to do with school hehe. Well, this is just another one of my long blogs, but I'll try to make it as short as possible and try not to take too much of your time.
GAMESPOT
Nothing much happening here... I'm half way through level 22, and I've got 231 profile views at the moment. But I've finally made myself a new sig:
Tell me what you think... I know I need to brush up on my Photoshop skills... Anyway, onto more important stuff
GAMES
PSP
I've was really busy with Socom, Syphon Filter and Tales of Eternia. Those are great games, with Syphon Filter being my favourite game on the PSP. If I wrote a review, it'll probably look something like this:
and Socom:
I had a lot of fun with Tales of Eternia. The best thing about it is the gameplay... Sound from the game is just average in my opinion... And the isometric 2D look really good on the PSP screen, but the 3D aspects and the FMVs don't. And thats sorta obvious since the game is a PS1 port. But overall, I think this game is worth playing for even the slightest RPG fan, because its just plain fun. If I were to rate it on different aspects:

The next PSP game I'm considering getting is Tekken: Dark Resurrection. I'm not a big fan of the Tekken series, and I'm not really good at it either, but I love Tekken 5, and to have a better version on the go would be awesome.
And also, I bought a WiFi adapter for my PSP. I've been really dissapointed with it because, Socom and Syphon Filter don't let me play USA servers. Whats so bad about NZ/AUS and EU servers? Well, I've gone online in Socom and Syphon Filter about 5 times now, and there seems to be nobody else playing those games in both NZ and AUS
And EU servers only have about 2 or 3 people playing in one match at a time... I just hope MGS PO will be different...
Speaking of MGS PO, its release date got pushed back till March next year. The only game I was really looking forward to these holidays... Oh well, I guess theres nothing much I can do but wait.
PS2
Out of all the PS2 games I wanted to get, I decided to start playing Shadow of the Colossus again. I forgot how cool this game was, lol.... And after this game, I'm gonna play Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure. This is probably the only game I've had on my PS2 that I didn't manage to beat, for whatever reason. Seeing it be nominated by Gamespot so many times makes me wanna finish it. They should do for now, since I'm just saving money for Bully, Final Fantasy 12 and Tekken. The thing with FF12 is that I know its a long game, and so I wanna take my sweet time with it and enjoy very second of it... I dont wanna beat it just to beat it.... So I wanna make sure that there aren't any other games on my mind.
I also gave buying a Wii a second thought... And I don't think I wanna buy one anymore. Its just not as good as I thought it would be at the moment... I'll probably will buy one sometime next year, but for now, I'll stick to my PS2 and PSP games.
OUTRO
Ok, I know its a long blog, but its becuse I dont blog often. Next time, its gonna be short and you'll see it more often. I wanna thank you for taking your time to read it and I'll make sure I read yours.
And if I don't blog again soon: Happy Holidays!!
Until Next Time- Posted Dec 16, 2006 9:08 pm PT

Hi there fellow Gamespotters, long time no see. Its been a long time since I last made a blog, and a lot has happened, as explained below
GAMESPOT
Well I finally managed to get past level 20, and that did take a while. Longer than I thought it would, since I've cut the time I spend on Gamespot each day in half. I rarely post on the forums these days, which explains why my post count has been stuck on the 2000s for a while now. But its allgud. I've also got two new emblems, the Mortal Kombat one and the After Hours one.

GAMES
PS2
On to the more important stuff. Its been a long since I've bought any new PS2 games, but just recently I've bought myself Street Fighter Alpha Anthology and Urban Choas: Riot Response. I actually thought I was gonna regret buying Urban Chaos, but it just so happens that I liked it alot. Alot. I cant understand why it got such a low score. Its single player is awesome, and I hear multiplayer is even better. I didnt get a chance to play multiplayer though. But if youre into first-person shooters, and have a PS2, then riot response is definitely worth checking out. I'd give it a

Alpha Anthology has been fun too. I dont play it as much anymore, but I get a chance to do so once in a while. I'd give that a
PSP
A lot more has happened on my field of PSP gaming. I've borrowed Tales of Eternia and Daxter from two different friends, and bought Socom (1) and Syphon Filter. I know, Socom 2 has just been released, but it doesnt even have a release date in NZ. So I dont regret buying it at all, since it was only $55 NZ (around $25 US, I think). Second hand and included a headset. I love that game, its everything I wanted it to be. Single player has been fun, but I am getting a Wifi Max thingy for my PSP so I can go online in a few weeks time. Why not now? I'll explain a bit later.
As for Syphon Filter, I havent got it yet. I just bought it on the internet, brand new, and a bit cheaper than the Socom I bought. Itll be with me in a few days.
Daxter was awesome. I beat it a while ago, and loved everybit of it. Maybe my favourite game on the PSP so far. Its just an awesome game, and well worth playing if you have a PSP. Luckily my friend had it, and I didnt have to buy it
I'd give it a
Same goes for Tales of Eternia. Borrowed from a friend haha. Ive only played into 6 hours of the game, and so far its really been fun. Definetly a must for PSP owners and RPG fans. I might write a review for it, since GS editors haven't done so already. I thought GS UK wouldve...
So thats the games I've played and am playing. I'm still looking forward to getting Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Bully and FFXII for the PS2. Metal Gear Solid PO for the PSP when it comes out, which maybe around the 31st of December. Sucks, but I can wait, since I dont wanna have to play too many games a time.
I might get my mom to buy me a Wii for christmas. She wanted me to send me to Australia for the holidays, but I told her I wanted a Wii, and so did my brother. She did say yes, but you never know when these women change their minds. I want to get Marvel on the Wii, so thats one reason I'm holding back on getting it for the PS2, since its like the worst one. And of course I want to get Zelda, since its gonna be like, the Wii game to own.
As for FFXII, I guess I have to import it. I'll do that later in the holidays. Heck, if Im lucky, one of my hardcore FF mates might get it first, so I can just borrow it of them. I'll recomend importing it to them asap.... hehe
Oh yea, another reason I dont want to get FFXII and others is because of...
EXAMS
Thats right. Again. But this time, its the real deal. I fail these, I pretty much fail in life. And I dont want to fail in life, that would just suck. They start in a weeks time, so I have to get stuying. That means little or no playing time for me. Its funny, a few weeks ago I didnt even feel like picking up a controller, but now all I can think about is games.
The good news is, after a week of exams, I get an extra 2 weeks of holidays. Add that to the already long 8 weeks, and I get... 10 weeks of hardcore gaming. Oh yea. I cant frickin wait. Its gonna be a lot more awesome if I get that Wii.
So after exams = Bully, FFXII (hopefully), Marvel UA (maybe)
Tales of Eternia, Socom (+online
), MGS PS (+online
) Syphon Filter (+online
)
Wii + Zelda, Marvel UA and a FPS (hopefully)
So anyway wish me luck, I'll need it.
OUTRO
Thats enough for now, Ill be back with another blog probably after the exams, and hopefully it wont be so long. And it might include my Socom and Filter online names.
So Cya, and hopefully I didnt forget to comment on your blogs. Happy gaming.

Hey, how are y'all? Im doing fine. lol.
So anyway, its been a really long time since I posted my last blog, and since my 10gig limit is nearly up, I thought I should post a little something...
LIFE AS IT IS
Well, school holidays have started again. Hurray for another two weeks. I know, its not a lot... but its better than nothing. I plan to watch Clerks 2 sometime soon, but other than that its just studying, gaming, hanging around with mates, going out and gaming
GAMES AND STUFF
PS2
Good news... I finnaly beat Kingdom Hearts 2
Frickin awesome game... Im glad I bought an imported version, screw waiting till the end of September for it. But if I did have to wait, it probably wouldve been worth it.
Ive started playing Viewtiful Joe, but just for now. It should keep me entertained till I buy or hire some new games. Im really looking forward to getting Okami... since it got a score of 9.0 and all.
PSP
I finally got this delivered to me:

x 10. It only cost $10 NZD (about 3.50 GBD and 6.68 USD). Its easy to put on and take off, and its not permanent or anything. Its gonna be perfect for when I finnaly get Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX. Hehe. Yep, its on my wish list. But right now, I still gotta finish playing Key of Heaven...
MUSIC
I bought myself this:

NAS - VIDEO ANTHOLOGY VOL. 1
Videos on the DVD:
01. It Aint Hard To Tell
02. One Love
03. Halftime
04. Nas Is Like
05. The World Is Yours
06. If I Ruled The World
07. Hate Me Now
08. Street Dreams
09. Nastradamus
10. You Owe Me
11. Got Ur Self A...
12. One Mic
13. Made You Look
14. I Can
Granted, not all of those vids are classics, but the first 6 songs alone make the DVD worth owning.
OUTRO
Well, I guess thats it for now... Not much huh...
Thanks for reading! Cya!

Finally, I’m back to 3.5mbs per second. If you don’t know
what I'm talking about, read some of my other blog posts. Anyway, I read some
of your comments and decided that I need to clear up some confusion with how my
internet works. Skip the next two paragraphs if you just don’t care
First of all, it’s like this on every ISP in this country, unfortunately. So I can’t
really do anything about it. Therefore, changing my ISP won’t really change
anything. Except my ISP, of course.
So I get a downstream limit of 10 gigs each month, and after that I go from
3.5mbs to 65ks per second. It’s hard not to pass the limit, since I have to
share it with my brother, who watches more YouTube videos then TV. The only way
to get past this is to dish out a lot more cash, a LOT more. And I’m 15, don’t
have a job and hardly get money for games as it is. And it’s hard to convince
my parents to pay extra, since the speed is going to be the same and they
hardly use the internet.
So that’s that. I know it’s sad, but I’m getting used to it.
Anyway, its time to talk about games and gamespot. Note: all links open a new window, so don’t be afraid to click em)
Well moving across level 20 hasn’t been going so well, because of you know
what. But I don’t really care too much about that. And I've gone past 2000
post, so just congratulate me on that.
Well my gaming activity has improved vastly since I've been away. I've gone to
playing Kingdom
Hearts 2 once a week from not playing it all. Its not that I don’t like it,
sometimes I just forget or am just too busy. But I promised myself I'm gonna
play it a lot more soon.
I've been playing Marvel vs
Capcom 2 a lot though, about 2-3 times a week for around 2 hours (well
maybe not alot). It maybe one of my favourite games of all time. Favourite
characters: Jin, Spiderman and Cyclops/Akuma/Sakura. I'll just post a picture
of it for fun:
Looks like someone’s gonna feel a bit of pain around the facial area. Haha...
yea I know, lame.
Lastly, I just got Key
of Heaven (chances are its called Kingdom of Paradise
in your planet) from a friend. It’s pretty cool so far... story isn’t too bad,
graphics are pretty good and gameplay is ok too. I'm not really in love with it
yet, but then again I've only played about 2 hours of it. I'm gonna get more
into it after I finish Kingdom Hearts 2. So here are some more random pictures:
I wonder what he’s looking at

I don’t know what he’s doing, it just looks cool
Lastly, in other news, I've got exams next week. So yea I gotta cut back on the
gaming even more now. But after that, I'm gonna be pretty much free and a week
later I'm gonna have the next 2 weeks of holidays. Hurray.
Well, its time for me to post on some of your blogs, watch some video reviews,
check out the news section and forum around, all while listening to my Nas tracks. So if you are still
awake, I'd like to thank you for reading my blog. If you just read someone else’s
comment and posted the same thing but just changed the words, thanks anyway. I
love you
