Fav RPG's Thus Far
I wonder if anyone will still remember me O__o
I just felt like blogging cause i can't stop playing Persona 4.......... Im fundamentally hooked to it T___T.So i just wanted to record my fav RPG's Thus far ^__^
(BTW these are not listed in any real order....... except for the 1st one O__o)1) Final Fantasy VII
Suprise suprise ^__^. The RPG that got me into the genre that i still love to play.
Love love love the ORIGINAL STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive said enough about this game to those who know me.....LOVE THE MUSIC !!!!!!!!!!2) Final Fantasy VIII
Character construction has been improved since VII and (despite the majority) I actually really like the VIII battle system (minus how long it takes to max out a junction by drawing). Characters were likable and Squal as a character really grows over the course of the game. (but the final boss is PFFT .... {thumbs down} ) Plus this was the latest of SquareSOFT's games taht i played. I never want to here the Balamb Garden Theme song again.......
3) KOTOR

As an avid starwars fan, this game was a breakthrough. FINALLY a starwars game worthy of time and effort. This being a new age American RPG, you control the outcome of the game. (Good or Evil, take your pick) But the best part about this game was the relationship building aspect of the game and how that coincided with the story.PLus there were lightsabres and HK-47 is hilarious.Music score went so well with the game and the series.4) Baten Kaitos Origins

The UNDERappreciated RPG that just knocked my socks off. It was difficult, voice acting could have been bits better, but man is the battlesystem a blast once you get the hang of it. Using a singular deck to control 3 people making superiorly long combo chains and just seeing destruction reaped on the tv screen. amazing..... The story is good too, but it doesn't deviate too much from your average jrpg story......... (though a certain plot device sure can make the experience that much more lasting) If you DONT know this game GO FIND OUT !!!!!!!!!!. Music score is pretty good.......
5) Golden Sun Series
Wow, It felt like a modern Final Fantasy game in the palm of my hand. The summons looked really cool and the puzzles were alot of fun.The use of djinn for magic, and the overall feel og the game just felt right. And the second part of the game simply sealed the deal. love the characters and the music is just outstanding for a gameboy game.
6) Kingdom hearts Series

Talk about the best combination an asian american gamer can have. You combine the best of American Children cartoons with the Amazing Final Fantasy Series. Superior voice actin, and a really flashy easy to understand battle system. The story pulls you in and you can relive many of the fantastic world of Disney. Both games are simply amazing (with the only drawbacks being Pace in the first game, and Ease in the second) The intro songs are soo good (and their orchestrated couterparts)......................... Stupid Lance Bass
7)SMT Persona 4im depressed that i did not join this series sooner. (due to my previous lack of a PS system...... so its not my fault O__o) But this quite possibly might be a top favorite of mine (once i finish) gripping story that i can't put down the controller for, excelent balance of socializing and fighting {i actually enjoy the socializing part more} Interesting take on taking advantage of weaknesses, and just an overall beautiful presentation. plus this has to be the funniest rpg i have ever played...... Here Here to Persona 4 !!!!!!! (Music Soundtrack is Amazing if you like JPOP!!!!)
Honorable Mention:
Tales of Symphonia - A great game that was originally on the list but i took it off cause (although it was an amazing game.... it just didn't have that amazing awe stuck feeling that the other rpg's gave me)
Final Fantasy X - Fun and i liked it.... but it just didn't stand out to me for some reason. might because i had no connection to tidus and Yuna...though the ending was sad.
Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core - Screwed up the VII plot line.... but it brought back some nice memories.Kotor II - Great game.....would have made it on the list if the game had an ending..... Maybe the reconstruction project will recover this great game.
Guild Wars - Lotsa fun with friends and its FREE online play.Beautiful art design and enviornment construction...... but the story needs improvement.
Pokemon - Ya ya ya............ (much much entertainment in my younger youthy days) Im still waiting for a free movement non turnbased ****pokemon game..... (somethign like smash bros Brawl) maybe an MMO ???? iono im waiting for somethign revolutionaryHavent played yet so DONT COMPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!
FFIV, FFVI, FFIV - Yeah so i havent played them yet........... ill get around to that later O__o -

4 days into my week long iaido training with sensei and its been soo helpful
to be honest i can't really describe to those who don't know the martial art cause........ i just dont know how... but its great cause we are learning new techniques and improving upon old ones....and practicing the mental and spiritual aspects of the martial art.
on the down side i found out that my school has cut funding on my financial aid so i get no more grants for college....which means its just me and my mom paing now T___T and i need to save up for me new sowrd too...
