Let's just put it like this. Some things have been happening around GS to users that make me very happy.
That's why nice guys finish last.
Now I can understand every other blog post being about The Dark Knight. Since it was amazing. And if you haven't seen it, what the hell are you waiting for.
But why is every other single blog post about their new Giant Bomb accounts? Is it really all that great? Am I missing something? Are they giving out free Wii's with every sign up?
I'm so confused. ![]()
Hey folks. This is your old pal staindcoldlp, back from the grave with another absolutely amazing movie review. But for starters let's get some small little things out of the way. The theatre I happened to go to, had 4 sold out theatres all playing Batman just for that one night. 4. That's a pretty big feat which probably won't be replicated for a long time. In fact, in all my midnight premier fun fests that I've been to, none of them have come close to the insanity that was "The Dark Knight" with the small exception of "Star Wars Episode 3".
It's really simple. Did "The Dark Knight" live up to any and all expectations? Hell yeah it did. And if you haven't seen it already, what the hells the matter with you? This is only one of the greatest movies you're gonna see in a long time. And if you think "The Mummy 3" is gonna be better than Batman, then you have issues. A lot of issues.
But let's be honest for a couple of seconds. This movie really was amazing. Seeing this really won't let you down at all. Unless you find pleasure in the negative aspects of anything you see or do. Batman was amazing. The Joker was amazing. Harvery Dent was amazing. Amazing amazing amazing.
I mean really. When a movie is this good, I don't really want to go into too much detail. It's basically a get off your butt right now, and go see the movie. Like right now. But leave a comment first. They make me feel so much better about myself.
One more thing actually. Were you actually going to wait to see reviews about Batman before you saw it? Yeah, I didn't think so either.
Actually I lied there is one more thing. I found about this guy a long time ago and find him quite funny. Let's just say that I enjoy his Batman review a lot more than any other review out there. Don't worry, there's no spoilers. (WARNING: The video contains some vulgar language and some crude language. If you offend easily, please don't watch).
The final score for Batman is 100/10. It deserves it. Trust me.
The best 13 seconds of my life ever.
I laughed til I cried. I'm serious. Watch it at least twice.
For all of you who did not hear the absolutely bomb shell announcement made today at the Microsoft Press Conference, Final Fantasy XIII is no longer a PS3 exclusive and will now be released on the 360 as well.
Now the one reason I had to buy a PS3 is gone. It's weird in the fact that I am blown away by this news as it's amazing if not plain old shocking news to hear, but I'm also saddened.
See, I love my PS2 and my PS1 and I love Sony. I don't consider myself a Fanboy at all. I just love games in general. But after the success and my happiness caused by the PS1 and 2, it's making me wonder what the hell is wrong with Sony in the fact that I'm not in love with the PS3. Or just the general fact that there is nothing that makes want to go out and buy a PS3. I feel weird about the whole situation.
Enough about that. Almost sounds like a System Wars post. *shudders*
I think I've given up on them. Only about 4 people seem to read them anyway. I did see Hellboy 2 this week, I just don't feel like doing reviews any more. I don't know. It just seems like a waste of my time on here.
If you want to read a review though, check out this one. He does a good job.
Later.
