25Aug 09Hey guys whats up? This is SSJ with his decade-ly blog

As a few may know, my dog died a couple of weeks ago at the ripe age of 15. At the time, I thought 'oh, that sucks', but after a couple of weeks the pain has grown as I realise that my life is empty now. I had my dog since I was 2 which is as far as I remember, so now that my dog has died everything seems down now. Anybody have any experiences like this they'd like to share? It would make me feel better

UFC 100 is in 6 days, and I am so pumped! Heres hoping Lesnar, GSP and Bisping win.. Although I don't think any of them are certain.
And with UFC 105 supposedly coming to the UK later this year with a propesed title match between the winner between Bisping/Hendo vs The Spider, it should be awesome!

6May 09Hey it is SSJ. I havn't blogged since Christmas because I never had a topic to talk about. I found the time to do this, so might as well make the most of it

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Seeing that fellow TV.com member Lightning_KF get a PS3 made me start to use mine again. If anyone here has a PS3, add my PSN: Jordan5196. Some good games are coming out in the coming months, in particular for me:
UFC Undisputed 2009
- Really looking forward to this game. From the demo, this game seems like it will be really good. Create - a - fighter, Career Mode, Online etc. This should be one hell of a game
Prototype
- Anyone who has seen the trailer, knows we are in for something special. This game looks as if it will be Grand Theft Auto meets Devil May Cry.

As any of my friend from Facebook may know, I am in an examination period for about a month. This is one of the most stressful months of my life, and am preparing a lot. Just recently, yesterday to be precise, I had a German oral exam which went very well.

25Dec 08Finally, Christmas is here. It seems last Christmas was ages ago. I hope everyone has/had a good day. It seems I have already had problems with fricking guitar hero. I read about the sensitive drum kits before hand and was deeply hoping I wouldn't get it, unfortunatly I did..
Oh well, Merry Christmas

4Dec 08Hey its SSJ. Havn't blogged in a while, havn't had anything to blog about
.
Resistance 2 review
Yeah, I should probably review Smackdown vs Raw 09 first, but I have been playing this the most.
I got this on the UK release date last friday. I tell you what, this is alot better then FOM.
Alas, there are few things the same. The return of the Chimera
And of course, the return of Nathan Hale
Big difference in storyline now. Resistance FOM was in England, Resistance 2 is in the States. I don't really have enough time to explain the whole story, will do soon if you want
Sound - 9/10
The sound is awesome but could do with some tweaking. The sound of explosions in the distance on Campaign sound so life like, and with the completely new voice overs for the Chimera. The sound of Rusty bullets penetrating the skull of the Chimera sound pretty awesome as well.
Gameplay 9/10
Good gameplay, but still the same as last year. I would have given 7/10, but with the whole new set of guns such as the Splicer and the Bullseye Mark III, its made it much more interesting. A new thing (sort of) for Resistance 2.. Bosses! Thats right. Here is just a taster of a boss

Online - 10/10
Online has been vastly improved, and is so addictive. 60 player deathmatch, 8 person online Co-op, what more do you want?
Overall, I will give this game 9/10. If your a fan of FPS and have a PS3, go buy!
Monday Night Raw
It seems that Raw has been getting more interesting as of lately. It has definatly improved since the 2007, quite a bad year for WWE. What are your thoughts on Raw now, do you think it has improved/degraded? Any other thoughts?

Yes, tommorrow, it could possibly be the end of the world, when a proton beam is fired tommorrow.
bbc news wrote:A vast physics experiment - the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) - reaches a key milestone this weekend ahead of an official start-up on 10 September.
On 9 August, protons will be piped through LHC magnets for the first time.
Engineers had previously brought a beam of protons - tiny, sub-atomic particles - to the "doorstep" of the LHC.
The most powerful physics experiment ever built, the LHC will re-create the conditions present in the Universe just after the Big Bang.
There are over 5,000 magnets arranged end-to-end in a ring that runs for 27km through a giant tunnel under the French Swiss border.
Once the LHC is fully operational, two proton beams will be fired down pipes running through these magnets. These beams will then be steered in opposite directions around the main ring at close to the speed of light.
At allotted points along the tunnel, the beams will cross paths, smashing into one another with cataclysmic force. Scientists hope to see new particles in the debris of these collisions, revealing fundamental new insights into the nature of the cosmos and how it came into being.
Precision timing
For the two-day "synchronisation test", engineers will thread a low intensity beam through the injection system and one of the LHC's eight sectors.
These two sectors have now reached a sufficient level of readiness to handle the energetic stream of particles, and this opened up the opportunity to run the test.
The purpose of the test is to help ensure that the LHC is working in step with its "injector", known as the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) accelerator.
Before a beam can be fired into the main ring, the proton beams have to be boosted to high energies in a chain of particle accelerators, or injectors.
The SPS is the last link in this chain; it is from here that protons are fed directly into the LHC ring via two "injection lines" - one for each beam.
"The aim is to get the timings right between the two machines and in order to do that we will take some beam into sector 2-3," said Roberto Saban, the LHC's head of hardware commissioning.
Cern, the organisation that operates the collider, said it will attempt to circulate two proton beams all the way around the ring on 10 September. This is considered the giant lab's official "switch-on".
Beam collision
"It's been a long haul, and we're all eager to get the LHC research programme underway," said Lyn Evans, the project leader.
This full beam injection will take place at an energy of about 450 gigaelectronvolts (GeV). Over subsequent weeks, engineers will gradually boost the energy and fine tune the machine.
Roberto Saban said that in order to obtain high magnetic fields with a modest power consumption, the LHC's magnets are required to be "superconducting".
This is the property, exhibited by some materials at very low temperatures, to channel electrical current with zero resistance and very little power loss.
This requires cooling the magnets to a temperature of 1.9 Kelvin (-271C; -456F). Six out of eight sectors are currently at their operating temperatures; cooling of the remaining two should be completed in the next few weeks.
A lot to read, but its worth it. And heres the picture of the proton beam

I don't beleive its going to end. I read furthur from other sources that if this goes wrong, a black hole could be made. OOO!
What do you think about this? Good idea or a Bad idea?

This is the second installment of 'At the games with SSJ'. My new blog dedicated to reviewing games

I got Soul Calibur IV yesterday, so I will be making a review of it based on what I have witnessed so far.

This game is pretty good, but not great
+ The graphics are amazing beyond beleive
+ Gameplay is fun
+ Wide Variety of Characters- Not as original as Soul Calibur IV
- Quite Short
- Hard to use the 'critical impact'Me being a huge Soul Calibur fan, I was not disapointed. I recomend this to those who are a fan of the series and button mashers/hack and slashes.
Anybody got psn? If so I am interested to know what your psn is.

Many of you may not of saw it, but I posted an encounter I experienced of the first kind in Enervators blog. I will give you a depth story of what happened
it was around June 2006, and I was with my family in the backyard having a BBQ. It seemed like an ordinary night, just eating burgers, talking by the fire. My mother then noticed something out of the ordinary. A bright red light speeding through the sky, going in all different directions, then stopped almost directly above the house.
We was beginning to think 'What is that?' As we gaped into the sky. It didnt stop there. It seemed a second, almost identical to the colour stopped next to it and they began to move around. If that wasnt enough, a THIRD one came and they started to line up. At this point, we was thinking "Oh S*it" as we witnessed all these red lights that moved faster then a jet. Another one came, from the same direction the others came and they lined up. My dad took a photo of this on his digital camera. This is the resulting image:

After this was taken, a FIFTH one came, Identical to the others came. I at this time was starting to think we was being invaded
. This is where it gets scarier. These five red lights then start to move around in like a circle formation over each other, then they disapeared. I couldnt get to sleep for weeks.Talking about this, recently in British newspapers, there has been many reportings of UFOs everywhere in England, with photos to prove it. Either Britains going to get invaded or we are the top tourist attraction to Mars

What do you think about UFO's? Have you ever encountered anything strange like this?

- So. I just received ANOTHER TOS violation for 'Clear insulting of others'. Thats the 3rd one I had this week. I wonder who that could be from...

- I just watched Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story and remembered all those good 'What grinds my gears' Peter said. What Grinds your gears?

1. Immigrants. Sure as hell that might sound bad, but they're ruining the economy. I really dont mind ones that came here who had a good job, like a doctor. But not the ones who just come, and take a job from KFC or McDonalds that a student could have. They also spread disease. See Tubersclorosis
2. People who talk really loud on the train. Why do you talk so loud?!?!?! Its not like the person on the other end of the phone can't hear you as it is. Seriously, does the whole entire carriage need to hear your entire conversation about Shopping?!
3. Football (Soccer) Hooligans. This one time, I went to see Chelsea play Tottenham, and Chelsea won. Unfortunatly, Tottenham did'nt know when to quit. There was a huge riot outside Stamford Bridge and I heard 5 people died. Seriously, is the loss of a Football match really worth taking the lives of 5 people?
4. Lewis Hamilton. Thats right, Englands top F1 Racer. You may be thinking, what the? He hasnt done anything bad. No he hasnt. Its just what he done is what annoyed me. In last years Grand Prix, I beleive Hamilton came Second. Please note, this was his first year racing in the F1. After it, he goes on to actually WRITE an Autobiography. What The Hell? He is only 23 and he wrote an Autobiography? Ok... Also, he was born where I am currently living.
- I have preordered Soul Calibur IV and Star Wars: Force Unleashed at my local Gamestation. Heres hoping its better then Soul Calibur 3, as I found it horrible. Could anybody tell me if it is good? Thanks.

Thats right, remember back to May? Me going? Me leaving hints?
Well im back!
But I was posting after that anyway, hmm. It means im back, and more active then ever!

Some notes on me to say
- New York
I will be going on a 1 month study course next year, in february to be precise, but I have never been New York, or America, in my life. So could anybody give me and good places to go, see, visit etc.? (Its Manhattan, btw.)
- Battlefield: Bad Company
Decided to get this, as I had extra cash, and read so many positive reviews about it. So far playing it, I have found that Story mode is ok, but not great. The online on it, however, sticks out like a sore thumb, as it is fantastic!
- Independence Day
Although I am not American, I would like to wish every American a happy Independence Day, and for kicking us out your country! (Last bits a joke

Act 5 - Outer Haven *****You also find out many of the answers you never got from MGS2, which is awesome.
Online is also very good, IMO better then COD4 online

Todays blog will be a serious one. Its the Economic crisis happening in the world. I took Economics for school and I have been interested Learning this. Some things about it
- Inflation around the world
im not sure about the world, but there is Inflation currently happening in England. Some effects of it are Petrol Prices going up (up to £1.20 a litre here!) and Wages being decreased
- Food shortages around the world
Although this has been a big problem in Africa, it is starting to Spread. One thing that is happening is Wheat prices rising, as most wheat is being cut down for Ethanol around the world. Effects of this are the price rises of Beer and Bread (just two things) going up.
just two things I can currently think of, but what do YOU think of this whole Situation?
Thank you
