After over a year away from TV.com, I'm back (and surprised to see that my editorship wasn't removed)! I wonder if any of you actually remember me? I see a lot of old faces are still around.

I've had a good year and changed a hell of a lot. I haven't been watching TV as much, just my favourites. Over the last week, I've watched the three first series of Desperate Housewives (which is still my favourite show) and it made me think of this website so, here I am!

I don't really have much to say so I'll wrap it up now - It's good to be back!

This will be the final part of my high hope blogs. It seems everything I have been hoping for recently has blown up in my face so this time, I want things go my way and we get ourselves some snow! As you may have heard, England is about to start its worst snow storm for a decade in just a few short hours. I love snow. It's one of the most magical things that the planet has. I love the feel you get when holding it (not the cold one)! But seriously, it's great and because we rarely get it here it makes it even more fantastic!

Tonight, Bang! finnally airs here in the UK which I'm sure everyone is anxious about. It's quite scary though because my parents seem more excited than me!

In other news, I am now Level 14 and I have a spiffy new emblem for posting 500 messages on the boards. Also, I've decided to write some reviews as I haven't done very many and I love writing. I don't know which show for yet but I'll probably start next week as we break up from school on friday!

Finally, because of some upcoming exams, I've started going to extra English lessons as my teacher thinks, with enough effort, I will exceed my target and be in a higher set next year! The downside to this is that starting Febuary 20th I won't be on here as much 'til mid-April.

I'm really looking forward to this year TV wise. We are getting some fantastic, brand new shows here in Britain from across the pond. I am most excited about Dexter! I've been reading about it a lot and have seen some clips of it on various websites around the internet and it's really making me anxious. I just hope one of the channels over here buys the first season and broadcasts it. Another show which is getting me all hyped up is Heroes. I'm sure I don't need to explain what it's all about as I've seen it's very popular in America.

I'm very impressed with Lilies this week. It's a shame that you guys can't watch it over there because it's really good drama. I missed Skins which I'm not very happy about. From what I've read, it was much better than the Pilot so I've got high hopes for the rest of the season. Desperate Housewives was really intriguing this week. I think Laurie Metcalf is quite a talented actress. She plays the part of Carolyn Bigsby (Alma's friend) who thinks that Bree's new husband Orson is a murderer. Best of all, she goes all serial killer next week in Bang!

In other news, Bird Flu is being felt here in England as it broke out in Suffolk in the South-east. It can be fatal if it is passed on to humans but experts said the outbreak was being contained and posed little danger to people. It has already killed over 2,000 birds this week and now another 159,000 others must be slaughtered to prevent an outbreak! A three-kilometre protection zone and a 10km surveillance zone will be set up around Holton, which is approximately 27km south-west of Lowestoft (Suffolk). Just hope it doesn't come and get me here in Blackpool!

What a week this has been! I've had the flu; become the editor of two show guides (Skins and Lilies); gained a full row of emblems; finished tonnes of schoolwork which feels great to have completed, and finally, I've gone up two levels! I've finished my submission guidelines which I will now (just like Kris) feature in every blog so submitters don't have to spend ages looking for them when I have more blog posts.

February Sweeps is approaching fast which means bye-bye to some of our favourite/most hated shows! I think that Dirt may be one of this years cancellations. I'm not saying the show's bad as I haven't even watched it and also, Adam (Maxpower03) has said that it is a good show and he's usually right! But it has had some pretty bad reviews from the media and press even though it hasn't even started here in England (as far as I know).

Skins premiered on Thursday which I was very pleased about. I've reviewed it and I wasn't disappointed; it's not as good as I would've hoped but I still enjoyed it. Desperate Housewives is getting good; thanks to everyone who restored my faith in the show! We only have to wait one more week for Bang and then the wicked with is dead!

Finally, I've developed a liking for Ugly Betty. It started here a few weeks ago and I've only seen one episode but I'm going to try and catch some repeats on E4 so hopefully I can get the jist what's going on!

I'm the daddy! I'm a big bad editor and, to my surprise, I'm the editor of two shows!

My first editorship came in the form of Skins a new popular British teen drama about the lives of a group of youths in the English city of Bristol. The second is Lilies. A new drama from the BBC which follows the lives of three beautiful sisters who are struggling to come of age in post-World War One Britain.

This will just be quick blog and I'll do a full one tomorrow because I'm having a hectic day today. Just got back from Ice Skating and now I'm going out with friends. My blog tomorrow will be my Submission Guidelines.

Edit: I'll do my guidelines another day as I am very ill. I got a bad cold and headache and been throwing up! See you all soon as I won't be on much tonight.

The last few days here in the UK have been absolutely astonishing! We've had 100mph winds (which is completely out of character). We've had several tiles fall of our roof,  our fence panels are about three gardens away and part our tree (which was rather big) has completely disappeared! At least 14 people have been killed too; one of which was not to far from where I live were the roof of a petrol/gas station was ripped off and it flattened an innocent bystander! I live by the coast and the entire seafront was shut to the public due to huge waves dragging things into the sea. Town centre was also shut because of entire roofs being ripped off and tiles hitting several people early on Thursday morning. Worst storm we've had in 17 years!

I'm really excited because I'm currently the highest contributor to Skins which I am desperate to become the editor of! I watched a sneak preview of the show the other day. It looks very promising and has a great actor in the form of Nicholas Hoult. To see the exclusive preview (must be a UK resident) click here. You can only view the clip after 10pm (GMT). I think I'll try becoming an editor of a person too as I've been told that it's much easier.

Finally, I'm still completely obsessed with Desperate Housewives! Unfortunately for us in the UK, we are only just up to 'Nice Ain't She' (Episode 5). I've been told by quite a few American viewers that it gets worse as the season goes on so I might aswell enjoy it whilst I still can. Finally, I was watching the weather last night and it said that tonight, a cold snap will begin which means sub-zero temperatures most of the time and... snow, snow, SNOW! Hopefully we will get some more time of school! I finally recieved my 24 icon after nearly a week! Thanks for reading this weeks blog!

Wow, it's been one whole year now since i joined here at Tv.com. I've made new friends, I've been spoiled rotten and my passion for Tv has grown substantially! I'm loving every minute of my time here. We have a great, supportive (sometimes sarcastic) community and it adds to why Tv.com is such a great place to be!

My views on many shows have changed, I saw how Charmed's quality plummeted after season 4 but I suppose it ended on a high note. I discovered how much I now like dramas such as Desperate Housewives yet I still enjoy things like Prison Break and Without a Trace. I take pride in the fact that I enjoy all sorts of television shows so I always tend to fit in when I'm round at my friends house! Also, I've decided that I am going to try and get really far in my level as last year I didn't move up that much! Anyway, just like to thank everyone here at Tv.com for making this year so great!

So I've been here almost a year and it's gone very fast. I've loved every minute of it and thanks for being great online friends everyone!  Tv.com is fantastic but now I've decided it's time to move up. One of my favourite shows at the moment is Shameless and the makers of Shameless have made a new show called 'Skins'. I'm gonna submit like crazy and hopefully become the editor! Fingers crossed.

Yarr! I finally reached level 10.. It's taken me a year! So, I thought in honour of this fabulous occassion, I'd list my ten favourite shows. Here they are:

    10.

    Little Britain

At one point, this was the highest rated Tv show in England mainly because of its original humour. It won over 5 awards and had an audience of over 10 million (which is good for an English show).

    9.

    Sex and the City

This show was an instant hit wherever it was broadcast. It was something different. No-one had ever dared to make a show like this but you have to admit, it was fantastic.

    8.

    Footballers Wives

I'm not ussually into shows like this as most of the cast were slutty and violent. Footballers Wives was different though; it had great storylines and something had me glued to my television screen everytime it was on. They must of been doing something right.

    7.

    Family Guy

Rude, crude and hilarious. Who thought that the sick, vulgar side of humour could rear its ugly head and pull in so many viewers?! Well I don't know but it did! I love every character in show and I can really relate to Stewie!

    6.

    The Simpsons

I love this show with all my heart but I think it's about time it was axed. It's starting to become really annoying but the first 10 seasons are amazing. I love settling down with a Dominoes Pizza and watching a classic episode of The Simpsons!

    5.

    Charmed

This was my favourite show for about six years. Now I am realising how sucky it went after Season 4; still, the first 4 were amazing. It was something new for me and I loved the idea of Supernatural powers.

    4.

    Without A Trace

We follow the MPU (missing persons unit) department of the FBI as they search for people with unexplained dissapearences. With its gripping storylines and fast-paced action, this show really makes your monday night bright!

    3.

    Ideal

Jonny Vegas stars in this fantastic comedy about a drug dealer named Moz. I was worried as their were rumours over the summer that the show had been cancelled but luckily, it will return later this month. Completes my thursdays.

    2.

    Shameless

If you've never seen this show, search for it, try to get hold of one of the season boxsets. A new series starts tommorow night in the UK on channel 4 at 10pm. It's absolutly hilarious and has been my favourite show now for nearly a year along with..

    1.

    Desperate Housewives

Season One was fantastic, I loved everything about it, its mysterys, the acting, the quality of the camera work, the drama and most of all, the dark comedy. Season Two was quite tedious and I think the show really went downhill. Now, in its third season, Desperate Housewives it better than ever and my most favourite Tv show to date!

Hope you enjoyed reading my top 10 favourite shows. Comments are welcome.

I just saw this episode of Desperate Housewives on the internet and it was truly fantastic. I couldn't belive how dark the episode was and for about 30 minutes after it, I was left with my chin on the floor.

I can't decide if I'm happy that Nora was killed. I can't wait untill the next episode but for me that will be about another six weeks as I'm from the UK. I can't wait!

I decided to make a new banner last night and have just got around to uploading it. It's similar to my last one but I put more effort into this one. Thoughts welcome.

Wow! I was completely blown away by the first two episodes (we had a double wammy here in England). I'm really enjoying the new mystery and I'm wondering whether Orson really is the one who killed his wife. Could they really make Bree love another killer? We shall see.

I'm going to take a little break from Tv.com, probably till November. I will be on just not as frequently.

Also I have made a new banner featuring Eva Longoria probably best known for her role as Gabrielle in Desperate Housewives, I know its simple and not my best work but thoughts and comments are still welcome.
