    Sony and Nintendo's E3

So E3 has come and gone and I can't tell you how excited I was all week. I love E3 week because we get so much info about all those games we've been hearing about plus some new surprises like Assasin's Creed, that game looks incredible in my view. There where good news and bad news for all of us gamers.

You might be thinking to yourself, what bad news is he talking about? (All 2 of you.) Well for instance the Sony PS3 price is too much for the average gamer. And if you get the $499 you miss some features that you might wanted. Talking to some friends of mine they are very dissapointed at the price. To tell you the truth I expected this price for a long time.

One thing I have been pondering : If the PS3 hardware costs that much, what about it's games? Recent news are writing that blue ray movies might go about 40 bucks for ONE movie. If blue ray dvds are going to cost that much, what about the blu ray games?

Now onto the good news if you are a Nintendo fan. The wii had 27 playable games, their conference was great. I watched it live and loved every minute of it. Funny story: A friend of mine came to watch it here with me and he forgot to turn off his car lights because he was very excited to see the conference live, so when he went to start his car the battery had died. heh.

The games looked great, the videos looked amazing and the Solid Snake surprise in the new smash bros game was great. Still there are some questions to be answer. When is the lauch? How much for the Wii? How many games @ launch?

In my view the clear winner for this year's E3 was the big N. I mean if the competition is praising you, how good is your future going to be?

This got to start ....from the start.

So I was reading this: NPD november sales down in the news section and decided to write something about it in the forum link section, but then Gamespot tells me that I can't use it cause I 'm not high enough..u know..since I'm a newb.Well I decided to voice my opinion about this right here in my own personal blog since I can't post yet there since ...I'm a total newb.

Game companies are taking it hard right now as sales are going down, big games are no where to be found in this jolly season, players complain about where are my games!! While others say psss it's time for the handhelds to shine, but who cares! I do, and game companies should too.

You see there's a trend that's coming out and every year I see it more and more. Game companies rush stuff to us with BIG NAMES year after year and quite frankly this year unlike last year we said something in common (you know all those gamers who care. All 3 of you). We had enough!!

Don't believe me? See that news. We had it with improve graphics and sound but no gameplay, we had it with games going out at 60 dollars to not deliver to your standars. 60 is a lot of money for ppl to spend on crappy games! And 400 dollars to spend on a system that what right now what's delivering is great graphics and sounds is a lot to spend right now( but that's another blog to talk about.)

Plus great games like the ones we saw in 2004 (all 4 of you.) take a lot of time to develop. If you rush it you break it. So this comes at no surprise to me that this year is kind of slow in what console sales mean.(pss play the handhelds games of this year..theyre good.)

Also add to the fact than some gamers (like me) are waiting for good games to drop its prices since as I stated before: sometimes 60 or 50 dollars are too much for us poor gamers that are cheap. And also since Gamestop is making a lot of $$ with the used games that game companies are not receiving not a single $ of it. MP2:echoes at 15 bucks ? Sign me up since I never played it before! I'm planning on buy both POP games since the total cost of both is like 30 bucks...and wait for TT to drop its price.

Nobody can play all those games that comeout each year, since work, studying and other things doesn't let us do it.But in a so-so xmas season you can always look back at the great games that you wanted to play but couldn't and play them now since you have some time off...plus they're cheaper too. So it's a win-win situation for you, for game companies it's not.

    Peace out.
    sora
