  Memories of 2009

  Well, 2009 is over but I still have somegreat memories.

  Made my First Full Walkthrough
  ------------------------------------
  The first GameFAQ I made was for Sonic Chronicles, based on the Chao in the game. It was already finished and completed so I didn't work on anything at the moment. After getting Sonic Unleashed and heading out to the store, I realized the PrimaGuide only covers the Wii and PS2. Though, I'll never knowwhy they only covered those versions, I decided to write a full guide for the Xbox 360/PS3 versions. Right now, the guide covers everything except some ofthe DLC levels.

  Gamespot got the Webbys Award
  --------------------------------------
  Funny thing about Gamespot Emblems. They don't do much but theylook cool and are fun to collect. This year I got my third emblem from voting Gamespot in the 2009 Webby Awards. I believe there was also a point addition if you had the campaign in your signature.

  Pokemon SS/HG Being Revealed
  --------------------------------------
  Pokemon Fans rejoiced in May once we got the announcement. Unfortunately, it got a little out of hand and people got modded and suspended on GameFAQs.... Then again, it did lead to the creation of 2 unions and some fan websites.
  Now I just have to wait till March...

  Getting Involved in Unions
  -------------------------------------
  Admittly this year was my first time getting involved in Gamespot Unions. After looking at the Unions Tab and reading about them, I created my own union. Then I joined a fewand helped with what I could.One of the things about Unions though is there is alot of unions based on the same thing. Although this creates inactivity sometimes, it does connect the users in the unions.

  Joined a FanWebsite/Forum

  After the news of Pokemon SS/HG being released a group of GameFAQusers came together and made a website "Soul Silver Society". I joined afterward and became one of the mods there. It's a fun site. We've added some stuff, had discussions, set up gyms and a Battle Frontier, and set up a guild. There one issue where a site called "Ho-oh's Realm" got mad at some of our rules and the negative comments some members said about Ho-oh. I helped prevent a war with that site and we became friends. Although, that all and well, we've got to do some cleaning on the site to get rid of some of the spam. We might even find a better place so we have more capabilities.

  E3 2009
  -------------------------------------
  E3 is a great gameevent every year. I'm still surprised there's going to be a Mario Galaxy 2.

  The "All Time Greatest Game Hero" Contest
  ---------------------------------------------------
  It was fun while it lasted. I made sigs, avatars, and banners for several characters that people wanted to win. I still have them in one of my album. I still remember some of the funny and ridiousis comments and logic of some of the users on that board.

  Using my Photoshop Skills
  -------------------------------
  This year was actually the first time using PS to make stuff online. I'm still working on how to do animated stuff.

  Made more Informative Reviews
  -------------------------------------
  Now when I make reviews I give people a summary of what the games like and what to expect. Then I give my pros and cons of the game. Although I am a fan of the games I play, I give my score for a game, not what someone else has given it.

  Well, this, the games I'm played this year, and the friends I made are also things I remember. I wonder how this year will go?

  Home for the Holidays

  I have some good news,slightly bad news, and a question for Pokemon fans.

  The Good News:

  Finals are over and I'm now on break. Now I can relax and get some stuff done.

  Pokemon SS/HG's US Release Date is finally revealed and we should hear news of the Pikachu Colored Pichu event.

  The Bad News:

  Awhile ago I got Photoshop from a CD my dad borrowed from a friend. Recently, it decided to stop working which SUCKS. Also, since school is out for me I won't be going back, so the Photoshop at school is off limits. Until I can get PS working again or until I go back, there will be some delays on Avatar/Banner requests.

  The Question:

  Refresh my memory, can Japanese versions of SS/HG trade with US versions of Diamond/Pearl/Platinum?
