I leveled my Gnome Warlock to 80 a few weeks ago. Now working on my Druid at level 42. Good times, good times

I have to say if you play WOW, going Warlock is by far the most fun way to level. By level 80 I sliced though NPC's like butter.... Butter I tells ya!

If you love Pink Floyd, you need to keep an eye open for this band: The MachineI know I bogged about this a few years ago when I saw them, but it needs repeating

They were in Raleigh, NC last night and a few friends and I went to see them. Absolutely amazing show! It was about a 3 hour show with intermission, and they covered songs from their first album right up to the last one. I would have to say they are all very talented, but that keyboard player was just downright amazing. On top of re-creating a true Pink Floyd experience they did some really talented improv off some of the more popular tunes.

All in all a must see for the Pink Floyd enthusiast! Check out the website they have some concert clips that really don't do them justice, but you'll get the idea

Just finished the latest Batman Arkham Asylum game for the 360... All I have to say is if you are a Batman fan play this game. If you enjoy third person action games.... play this game. If you like kicking serious bad guy butt, get this game. excellent storyline, fantastic graphics, fantastic voice work. 10 out of 10. Get it now!

Weekend is almost here

Really crappy weather down south. Hot Hazy and Muggy everyday, to top it off some really nasty storms flying through.

Going to see Harry Potter this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it.

I keep forgetting to post one of these... Gnome is now Lvl 67, and man playing a Warlock on WoW is a lot of fun! I'll always love my Hunter, but when played correctly, Warlock just tear through things. I'll post some action footage at some point. Since Fraps is the demo version they only allow 30 seconds, hence the reason I haven't yet.

Soo that makes my third Character to climb the higher levels. My Hunter hit 80 last fall, my Death Knight hit 80 a month or two ago... Good times, good times...

I've know about Hulu since it 1st came out but never really used it for anything. The friends that I live with and I decided to kill all cable TV with the exception of Internet to save money. So I started to use Hulu for my TV watching needs. Those of you that are not familiar with the site, it's 100% streaming video of TV shows that are approved by the owners to show.

Ahhh the good old days

E3 has come and gone, and unlike other years, this year I failed to see just about anything

Work was really busy last week, and I was barely able to watch the Microsoft press conference. By the time I got home each night I had a ton of things to do around the house, and just never had time to sit down and enjoy the fun of E3.

Last year my job allowed a lot of "down time" and it's just the opposite now. Even though I'm in front of the computer all day, there is almost zero downtime. Makes for a quick work day, but I'm afraid I wasn't all that helpful last week.

Anyways I know the staff of GameSpot pulled out all the stopsas they do each year, and I'm sure it was a great week for everyone. Now I'll have to go back through and watch some of the event feeds when I get a chance.

Not much to really say these days... just happy it's Friday, and that it's actually a Friday. Meaning I have the next two days off

Lots of hub bub about these Webby Awards, and god forbid you may get an emblem for doing so. Seriously vote if you want and think of it as a bonus, not a bribe... Hell I still use my free pairing knife I got when I bought that Ginsu knife so many years ago

The fires in South Carolina may effect the weather here in Raleigh soon as haze, I heard that on the news on the way into work today. Hopefully they get that under control soon as I doubt there is going to be a whole lot of rain down the road.

Money has kept me from doing much gaming other than my one passive passion: World of Warcraft. My Hunter hit the level cap of 80 ages ago, and I have a Death Knight sitting at Level 78. Death Knight play has been fun, despite all the hate for the class

The weather is going to be Southern nice this weekend, mid 80's and sunny, unless the winds from the fires do something, we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully it stays nice since a bunch of us plan to have a campfire Saturday night.. Tunes, friends and your favorite beverage makes for some good times

So I'm at work... My desk is by the window which is nice, but for the last week, there's been this crazy bird that sits on the window sill and bangs at the window. He'll fly in running up and down the length of the sill and tap at the window. Eventually he flies off, but comes back in a few hours to do it again

I know it's a reflection thing that attracts them, but why just here? The whole building has windows and everyone I've talked to says he doesn't do it by them.

Did he find out I like chicken or something

So my Kasperskey Virus protect is ending soon, and I love the program, love the protection, but the cost is hella expensive. So unless I come across a deal of the century soon, kasp is out of the running for now.

I've done some new research and it's come down to Bitdefender and ESET NOD32. Both have received really good reviews, and are on par with Kaspersky. I finished trying Bitdefender and it was disappointing. While playing games it constantlytried to reduce the game to the taskbar... When I tried to uninstall it was horrid, I had to do a system restore to get it out.

Uninstall and try something else...

Now I installed NOD32 and it's finishingup it's initial scan. SO now I'm off to try some gaming and see what it does.

It's so annoying that we have to go through this junk because of the malicious intent of losers out there...

Oh and don;t come in here and post "AVG" free. It's great for casual browsing but if you have to deal with malicious coding everyday it's as beneficial as.. well... I have analogies, but they are on the rude side

Anyways I was curious what you had to say... McAffee has been a flop for me in the past. Norton has supposedly revamped thier engine but I'm hesitant. What say you?

I never make a fuss about the levels here at GameSpot... but I have to for this one.

I've been level 63 for I have to say at least a year. Maybe that's blown out of what is called reality, but I honestly think it has been a year.

Now I'm 64... Easter Egg... oh great So now I'm an egg for bazillion years

Mailer, Soul, good luck with level 63... hell I sat at 100% for two days. Worse than waiting for food at Waffle House.

Those of you that fuss about levels... don't. If you do, level 63 will have you pulling your hair out, unless it changed or does change. Thats all... m'kay thanks bye

I apologize for the sudden disappearance back in December, it was wrong of me, but things went really wrong, and really bad and it was something that took a lot out of me. I'm not going into detail, if you are a friend feel free to PM me and I'll explain, but needless to say the pain of what happened was a major hardship.

Wounds heal over time, and resolve and purpose become important again. I'm back for the long haul. Get used to the Stone Cold avatar cuz it's back in town

I logged into World of Warcraft this morning and immediately was told I won the achievement of logging into Warcraft on the 4 year anniversary... Okay.. kinda cool I guess. I then noticed that I had mail... I went to look and it seems that anyone that logs in today (Sunday) gets a free pet "companion" in the looks of a baby snow-bear. That's kinda cool!

I have tons of alts, and many I have barely used... I thought it rather funny that a undead rouge by the name of rotgutruby would have a baby snow-bear

The things Blizzard will do, it always amazes me

Installation was a breeze. 1 dvd and one or two minor fixes and I was up and running! I started up the game and immediately looked at creating the new hero class Death Knight.

I was a bit confused at first because I misunderstood how one was created. I thought you had to have a character of at least level 55 and you could turn them into a Death Knight... personally that would have been kinda cool. Instead it's just having any character of 55 on that server will allow you to create a new Death Knight with a starting level of 55.

So now that I got that figured out (dur!) I launched the game. Right out the gate they hit you with all kinds of cool content.. you get to place runes on your weapons that add stats to it and also makes them glow as if they were enchanted; a profession I never tried due to it costing so much gold, so this is a neat thing.

I probably played for 3 or 4 hours which is a really long time for me, and all I have to say is this is fantastic fun! There are a lot of people complaining that it's too easy at first, that they practically give you a mount, and halfway decent gear from the start, but I think that was done on purpose.

So far all I've done are the startup quests which are like a training area. I finished up one of the last ones this morning before work, so I'm eager to get home and play some more. For the record, I haven't even set foot on the new areas yet

I don't have screenshots, but I may upload a movie or two over the weekend. This is going to be good fun, I can tell already!

Can't wait to get home and get started on this! I know I should work on my Level 70 Hunter for a few things.. but I know I'll end up re-rolling my level 60 Paladin and spend the night playing as a Death Knight
