    Half-assed Multiplayer

I've recently started enjoying online CONSOLE multiplayer more than I used to. Xbox games that are now being made with a mutliplayer mode in mind right from the begining are turning out quite good. I don't like games that add online multiplayer as a halfassed way to get "xbox live" on their back cover. Some games (Condemned 2) should never have added and didn't need to add online mutliplayer. RSV2 is a perfect example of how to do it right. The first was OK with the co-op but they had to butcher the story mode to make it work. The second one fixed it and look how well its doing. Sure, mutliplayer can be incorporated into any game format, but some times it just shouldn't be. Spend the dev. time on perfecting a single player mode instead of wasting that time on half-assed multiplayer. In fact, I think a lot of good games are getting a lot of bad reviews because of their poorly planned multiplayer.

Age of Conan Xbox360 Subscription Rates

Does anyone fully understand how this game will be handled as far as on and offline play? Will someone be able to play up to level 20 offline(no subscription fee) and then have to start subscribing after that to progress within the game? It may be a lot for people to swallow: internet fee, Xbox live fee and then a subscription fee! I'd be willing to simply pay extra for the game and get (x)months of subscription time and not have to worry about it after that. Has anyone heard of any solutions for Console users in this matter. I don't believe there have been any successful subscription games for consoles for this reason. Also, will PC and Xboxers be within the same world? I'm looking forward to playing this game, all costs aside. I just hope there will be other people than myself roaming around Hyboria.
