11Jan 09I'm still enjoying Okami after 20 hours. When I thought it would end it just got more awesome. This could be my favourite Wii-game, depending on the length.

Okami for wii is awesome - it seems to be long and lasting too

I'm closing in on the 100th post. It's gonna be my last though.

I got the orange box about two weeks ago. I'm surprised at how superior TF2 is to the other games in the box. I'm currently getting some mods for Portal, I hope they will sprinkle some life into the game after my 3 completions.
Anyone than hasn't completed Crysis on Delta difficulty should try it out. Much more fun! Boxing dead chickens is also a lot of fun (in Crysis, of course).

Time for December and it's derivatives once again. I think I got control over all the gifts 'n' stuff so it's gonna be kewl for me. And there won't be any school for 3 weeks which is totally awesome.
And now a special games report: I completed dead space, I'd probably give that game an 8.5 at most, it's a great addition to the horror genre. I gave up on AC because the end was so s***y and (for me) way too hard. The game was pretty repetitive but it had a stable plot-start for the trilogy: 7.5
I'm still playing F3. I made an evil female character that now completes missions the bad way - still loads fun! I'm also a bit into Fallout 2.

I cleaned up some games on the HD. finished Bioshock again and erased it, got tired of Far Cry 2 (dull driving) and threw that away too. Mass Effect will be saved for another time (I choose a boring class anyway).
However I got my hands on Fallout 3. Awesome game! But it crashes a lot - randomly. I'm lucky if I get to play more than an hour in one sitting. Bethesda have to patch this game up because it's very enjoyable and better than Oblivion?
I recently saw the newest Futurama movie "Bender's Game" It was pretty much what I expected: a great and funny movie! Don't miss that one!

I got Warhead working yesterday, but I'm going to complete bioshock again before playing it more. I completed Metroid Prime 3 today. Fantastic game! I hope the wiimakes of MP1 and MP2 will be worth getting.
I'm really tempted to do a sequence break in MP1. Never tried it out, but it will be hard because I have to do it the Player's Choice way. Just added a couple of reviews. I'll probably only give the wii games proper reviews from now on.

I had some really frustrating problems there in the end with a certain TAC gun. otherwise this is possibly the best shooter experience since Half-life. Going to get my hands on Warhead.
And I'm almost done with Metroid. Got all powerups.

And when I'm done I'll post 4 reviews if anyone's interested
Also what's the deal with the new DSi?

There's just something about Metroid that keeps me coming back for more. Especially Metroid Prime. I've completed MP 4 times and MPEchoes 3 times. Today I finally got MPCorruption.
I highly prefer playing the game on a 36" widescreen than on a 32" non-widescreen, and since that one is occupied by the parents the gaming will be quite exotic. I hope to play it soon enough though. I have high expectations.
This requires some delicious cake!

So I'm pretty much done with resident evil for now. I unlocked everything except the handcannon and I may try pro-mode sometime in the future.
I am now playing the offline RPG which sucks up your life - Oblivion. I've racked up like 20 hours already. Great game.
Chill!

Unfourtunately I won't be able to end my first week with nice, long sleeping. Instead I'm going on a LAN party. Bad timing? Yeah. But It'll be fun that's one thing for sure... and nerdy as well.

Today the school started, exciting, but boring. Near school I finally found a store in Sweden which sells Dr. Pepper, neat! So I better start some kind of diet lol.

So this summer I finally got my epic computer. It looks epic and runs smooth. There's an NVIDIA 8800 GT within so that means that a lot of modern PC gaming has been going on. I've also been watching a bunch of movies. I will here present my thoughts about the stuff.
Movies:
- The Breakfast Club - Wow, greatest movie in a long time, truly an 80's cla$ sic.
- Cast Away - An alright movie with lots of excitement.
- Pumping Iron -An interesting documentary that takes you into the daily life of body-builders.
- The Thing -A really nice Thriller/Horror with some epic special effects (walking head etc...)
- Edward Scissorhands - A clas-sic that I thought was great. Tim Burton delivers.
I've also been watching some South Park (season eight) and a bit of 'Curb'.
Games:- Call of Duty 4 - Wow, a mind blowing single-player that was too short though. Something I will play online in the future and bored out nights.
- Bioshock - Fantastic story but it was a bit short and the combat system is a bit flawed.
- GRID - A hard-core racing game that I tried out with my old racing wheel. Pretty hard if you're used to Need for Speed mechanics, but nonetheless a great racing simulator.
- Flatout: Ultimate Carnage -It's like the second Flatout but with better graphics and some minor add-ons. And it's very fresh-ported from the 360.
- Half-Life 2 - a fine game which was kind of a disappointment. The gfx was nice but the story was kind of meh. Half-Life 1 remains a cla$$ic.
First impressions:- F.E.A.R. - A shooter that doesen't seem so scary so far. Not much new stuff in it but I'm gonna paly it.

And I've completed the main story on easy, and well it was pretty easy, appearently they even picked some stuff out of the game so I'm now playing it on normal. After that there are still some extras left
. Spectacular game.- But how do I play with the GC controller?

23Jul 08Giant Bomb seems like a promising site with a good system, information and interface (Jeff is in da house!) so I created an account there (just like everyone else). My username there is "Smithy". I'm going away to Denmark on Monday. When I get back I will hopefully get my hands on the new PC. That means more fun and games.

Things are going well, I finally got that new PC ordered, I'll have it in a couple of weeks. I will go to Denmark next Monday and stay there a week.
So what am I doing? Well various stuff, a lot of brawling. Through Casual Collective I've got lots of friend matches which is good. But I still need friend codes. Anyone here wanna share some? (A blog may not be the best place to ask)
