  Does anybody read these things?

  Hello its me again with more ramblings about gaming. First off I own a Vita, but when I look at the coming soon list I would have to say I'm not impressed. All these Japanese anime and rpg's just isn't what the western world want. Can we get a Witcher or skyrim like rpg on the system or even a fallout would be awesome. I want to play nice graphical games on this expensive piece of hardware I have purchased. To my next point I would like to make today. Support cd projekt(i hope i spelled that right) its the guys who made the witcher 2 on the pc and now on xbox. Just researching this game when I heard about it I am amazed and blown away. Its makes me want to go and drop some money on a nice gaming pc(i never played pc games in my adult life)which in turn will make me buy other games that look awesome(arma II)which in another turn help the industry. I have purchased the game on the xbox and I love it. So if you read this go pick it up and let me know how much you love the game.

  My first Blog

  My name is Josh and I love video games and I shouldn't be afraid to say that. Games let me slip off into an alternate reality and live out things I know aren't possible for me to enjoy in this one. I'm 32 years old and no I don't live in my mothers basement. I'm a middle class American who works 44 hours a week and I have a family (wife and child). I have never really played PC games all that much but I'm starting to get curious about them. Right now I play console games and I'm partial to the Xbox to be honest. I grew up a Nintendo fan but they only cater to the young and people who love platformers. Then I bought a 3DO and loved it, I really hate they went under. So then I moved on the playstation 1 which I also loved until I bought the Sega Dreamcast (the only system I've ever pre ordered and waited in line for). Once they folded up I purchased PS2 which I was a huge fanboy until my girlfriend(which is now my lovely wife) bought me a Xbox. Once I tried Xbox Live I was hooked and I didn't even like to play multiplayer. Just the fact of being online 24/7 and I could see what my friends were doing was awesome. I've now been on Xbox Live 9 years and I still have a few of the same friends on my list to this day. Yes I bought a PS3 but only for blu ray movies (ok and uncharted, metal gear 4, and infamous). My Xbox 360 is the center of my living room. I love it and all the new features it offers and the games and most importantly Xbox live. So don't be afraid to say you like gaming, its the 30 somethings that are the majority of gamers that are spending the money and keeping this business alive.
