    So there I was...

    [9:00pm] ....driving to the B&N with my friend, Dan. we wre polishing our wands, because we knew we gonna fend of some insane Potter fans. we pulled into the parking lot. It was packed. Dan opened the car door and bellowed "Stupefy!". I said "shut up you git, nobody is around to stupefy!". We concealed our wands deep within the confines of our robes. I pulled out my dad's old invisibility cloak out my pocket and threw it over me and Dan. As we walked toward B&N we saw how the line to get in was uber long, and it was then we were thankful for the cloak. we slipped in between 2 unsuspecting muggles and threw the cloak off before anyone noticed. It was pretty sly. We got our tickets within seconds and took a look around. fans everywhere. We could the electricity in the air..the excitement was a rush. [10:00pm] Dan is picking a fight with a 12 year old who thinks that the 4th book is the best (Dan believes it is the 5th). Dan pretends to walk away from the brat when suddenly he turns around hollers "wingarduim leviosa!" the kid was now floating through the air and everyone was laughing at him. One of the kids friends tried to tackle Dan to disrupt the spell, but I saw his movement and yelled "Impedementa!" the kid stopped in his tracks. After tormenting the kid for a few minutes, we decided to drop him off in the Romance section. The B&N was getting more crowded. oxygen was hard to come by, and we were getting impatient.[11:00pm] I saw Snape and decided to go up and talk to him. I asked why he killed Dumbledore. He simply replied "10 points from Gryffindor for askign questions in which I cannot answer as of yet". Feeling rejected and furious I decided to walk outside and see how long the line had become.[11:30pm]me and Dan get in line...but we were too late. We were basically last in line. At this rate, we weren't gonna get a copy. "I didn't come here and wait for 3 hours to not get a copy!'". then I remembered. The invisibility cloak! We put the cloak on when nobody was looking and slowly edged toward the front of the line. we waited until the precise moment and took it off. We were now 10th in line![11:59pm]Only one minute until midnight![12:00am]IT WAS HERE!!YEARS OF WAITING HAD COME TO END. ME AND DAN WERE ABOUT TO GET OUR COPIES!!

    I was thinking...a handfull of us have all been here and communicating with eachother for over a year now. It's wierd to think about the old days......the days when we all had a home at the Avatar forum, the days when we didn't know what everyone looked like, the days when we didn't know eachothers names, when we didn't have custom icons, when we used to imagine Noelia looked like Bloo and Coollop looked like Roku's Dragon. When we actually made contributions to this site. When blogs about sex wax would go on for about 100 comments until late that night. The days when manipulating pictures of eachother was such a thrill, when Ella would would make those colorful blogs of hers and tell us about her bf, when Slugg was Kramer and Kim was Aang, when Naruto was just some dumb anime. When James and Leslie were here. When RP used to post his TMNT fanfic. The days when Terri wasn't related to evilg. The days when evilg actually got on. The days when our blogs were so LOL, when Katrina wrote her story, when trendy was Lex Luthor. The days when we would go through fads such as: those polls we put in our profile and those online quiz things about eachother. When procratination was spelled "t-v-.-c-o-m", when I had no idea what number MCMLXVI was. When I had no idea moms could use the interweb, when I thought meeting people online was dumb, when I thought getting to know people onine was dumb, when I never intended on blogging, when I was only called Sly by my little brother, and when I thought trendy131 was such a girly name...oh wait, I still do . That's all I got...anyone else?...

    Attack of the SEA MONSTER!

    Day of the Sea Monster: So there we were...on a raft...in the middle of the ocean...with nothing but our bodies and 2 crappy oars. We were trying to get to what appeared to be a sandbar deep out in the ocean. I personally don't like going out very deep...you know...there's "things" out there. things that I can't see because the water is dark. Oh yeah, and there is sharks out there too. But I wasn't actually expecting to see a shark. Anyway...Me and Andrew were paddling and paddling and the waves were getting rather large. we almost flipped once, but somehow we didn't. we started making fun of how Ryan had an obvious crush on Jacklyn and how he had NO chance. And then without warning- WE SAW IT! I just kind of did a double take because I was so shocked. Me and Andrew looked at each other and I started freaking out. Andrew was like "cool!". We had no idea what it was. I thought it was a dead fat lady (because that's exactly what it looked like). Andrew said that there was no way it was dead fat lady. THEN IT POPPED UP AGAIN! I didn't see it the second time tough. Andrew saw it, but he still couldn't tell what it was. here's the best descriton we could come up with: 1.Big like a walrus//2.Hairy like a mammoth//3.Ugly like Trendy. Seriously, I've never seen anything like it at all. I want to know what the freakin thing was soo bad. When we tried to tell everyone else, no one believed us and just said it was a log or something. but it wasn't. it's alive...and it's out there. BEWARE

    Day of the Red Flag: the first day we were there it was a freakin red flag day.WOOT! Big Waves + undertoe = fun. So yeah...this blog is not gonna be anywhere near as long as the last. Anyway...It was amazing getting thrashed by the waves for about 2 hours straight. I only lost my swimsuit once...and that's because my swimsuit isn't really a swimsuit...it's a pair of gym shorts duh. I'm gonna go to sleep now.

    A Blog of EPIC proportions

    I can already assure you guys and myself that this blog wil be my longest EVER (so if you're not interested...leave now, or forever hold your peace. And forever hold your need to potty). So without further delay, I present to you: Story Time

    characters: me(sly),andrew, ryan, will, jamie, jacklyn, mckenzie, alexa, and 2 moms

    Night of the Hotel: We split the trip down to the beach in 2 halves, so we posted up in a hotel located somewhere in the lameness that is Hattiesburg Mississippi. the 4 dudes had their own room, and the 4 girls had theirs. Anyway, That night around 2 in morning (we were waking up at 7) I decided it would be fun to beat on the night stand. So I did. I made a cool beat on the night stand. ryan and will decided to take it a step further and make a cool beat on the wall. So they did. And our neighboors decided to beat back. So me and andrew decided to beat back. Nothing happened...so will and ryan decided to beat really hard on the wall. A few minutes later, our phone rings! aHHHH. but we don't answer. We all knew who was calling anyway...the dreaded front desk. Most people would stop banging on the wall at that point, but not us. We kept beating. in about 3 minute intervals. It was hilarious. Our phone rang again! And again we didn't answer again! we were all hiding under the covers as if the phone could see us. SO I decided to stop banging on the wall. I figuered it was 3 strikes and you're out-literally. I was not about to get kicked out of a hotel at 3 in morning. BUT...ryan and will didn't freaking care. They started beating again! me and andrew were crying to our mommies basically. ryan finally punched the wall. It was the funniest/scarriest thing of my hotel life. At this point I was thinking of escape routes. There were none. We were surprised when the phone didn't ring. But we were more surprised when someone started knocking on our door! After laughing, we all played dead except for ryan who went to look through the peep hole. It was hotel staff. he told us that the room next to us was sending complaints about us knocking on their wall (no, really!?). No one spoke and the dude went away. I counted my blessings. It's around 3:30 now, and Andrew decides that 3 warnings isn't enough. He freakin beats on the wall again! it was like a 30 second beat. And will finished it off with a giant wham! We were dead...I knew it. Somehow I got stuck with the duty of answering the phone if it rang...which it did. I told everyone to shut up (naturally everyone started laughing). I sounded as serious as I possibly could as I picked up the phone and uttered the words "Good Morning" I don't know what possesed me to do so, but I did. And I was laughing hysterically on the inside. The front desk basically said: "One more time and we are kicking you out". I told the guys and they didn't believe me. They thought I was just making it up, because I was too chicken too knock on the wall (which I was). Somehow I managed to convine will and ryan to stop beating and we all went to sleep at 5 in the morning. When we woke up, we found our "Do Not Distrub" sign had been slid under our door and had a note on it. The note said :You Are Going To Get In So Much Trouble" LOL. longlive room 414!

    Night of the Spoons: Every night we were there we decided to play spoons. Why? because spoons is fun. Spoons is fast. Spoons rules. If you don't what spoons is (because I'm pretty sure it has other names), then just think of it as the musical chairs of crad games. Anyway. jacklyn and andrew were amazing at it. will and mckenzie were terribile at it. me, jamie, alexa, and ryan were just good at it. The moral of this story is...Sly only won 1 game of spoons out of about 50. andrew won about 35 games (dirty cheater). Jacklyn won about 10, and everyone else was like me. except poor mckenize never won once.

    Rock ON!

    Those of you who paid close attention to my last blog, (which is most people who are going to pay attention to this blog) know that I went to Edgefest '07last night (technically 2 nights ago). IT...ROCKED!

    TOP 5 most DISTURBING things I saw

    5. A very drunk and possibly drugged up girl flying aorund like a plane and then biting this random guy on the back. To which the guy replied "Why the **** did you bite my back!?"...

    4. A guy with a terribly bloddy face, cursing madly and trying trying to break free,being held down by 2 other guys. Someone was about to die...

    3. CROW MAN!! I swear...this guy could have been in a comic book. He was in all black. Black vest, Black fore-arm bands, Black pants (that were very poofy near the bottom, Black hat (a top hat!), Black hair, Black lipstick, and then a face painted like a member from KISS. It was cool looking. yet disturbing...

    2. The Uber Corn Dog...two Hot dogs stacked on to one stick, dippedin batter, and deep fried to heart stopping perfection. I got Nachos...

    1. 2 guys lift up this one very large girl onto their shoulders...and this very large girl did the one thing that most girls do at crazy rockfests...daddy wouldn't have been proud...that's all I'm saying. I'll also say thatI saw nothing that would have possiblyblinded me...

    NYC was pretty awesome

    Wow...so much happened. Maybe one day I'll feel like typing out the details, but today is not that day. Maybe one day I'll feel like uploading some pics, but again, today is not that day. So now that th busiest 3 weeks of my life so far are over, I can finally.......

     

    ....RELAX and start to enjoy SUMMER! AHHH! I swear, I've had something to do everyday since school got out May 12th. I swear. Okay yes, about 10 of those days I was on vacation, but still...

    Anyway, I can finally get back to being regular around here gotta go.

    at the end of the world...

    ...there is a 3rd installment of a certain movie people like to call "Pirates". I'm going to see this movie thursday at midnight. Anyone who wants to come with me is welcome. The only rules are:

    #1- you have to dress like a pirate and say "ARRRG" at the end of every sentence/ and at random times. arrg

    #2- you cannot laugh when someone says "BOOTY". arrg

    #3- you have to make fun of trendy. arrg

    #4- If you're going to drink rum, you have to be 21.arrg

    #5- If you are hesitant to comply with rule #3, then you can break rule #4 in order to abide by rule #3. arrg

    #6- rules are more like guidelines ANYWAY. LOL! I mean- ARRG!

    In other news...I'm 18, I'm not sunburned from the beach, I bought a giant kids floatation device in the form of a gator at the beach and named it "RAMROD THE DESTROYER!!!1", I bought a new drawing book, I graduate in 3 days, I got my new spiffy drivers liscence (goodbye 16 year old restrictions!), I want this lightsaber that I saw down in Florida, me and my friend bought some cheap plastic samurai swords and had an epic battle on the bay...and that's all I got. Glad to be back.

    GRRR...

    SO.....I don't know if anybody else was listening to the radio at 8:00pm est. and got to here 6 songs from the new LP cd . I was...It was amazing. All of the band was on the air talking about Minutes to Midnight and revealing new songs. it was awesome. The sound is definitely different, but It's a welcome change. Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing afterall. The songs they played were:
