The Perfect Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

The inevitable has been announced. According to a recent GameSpot article, Activision has announced that COD4's true sequal will hit the shelves Fall '09, and will be entitled "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2". I nearly jumped in my seat, seeing at how "WaW" was stupid (I hate you, Treyarch!). Anyway, here are some features that would make CODMW2 awesome.

    1. IMPROVED ATTATCHMENTS: It would be able to put multiple attatchments on a gun (like SOCOM) and have variants of each attatchment.

    2. Create-a-class available in Campaign and Split-Screen

    3. Split-screen online play

    4. Cooperative play (Online and Split-Screen)

If this game is as good as COD4 and with these features, I will sell my soul for this game.

You, Mr. Quantum of Solace, are no Casino Royale.

Being a Bond fan, and liking Daniel Craig's take on him in Casino Royale, I had high hopes for Quantum of Solace. I was wrong. It was a flimsy throw-together of high-tetesterone violence a pretty weak plot. I was excited to see Bond take down some top-secret organization because they killed his girlfriend and they were stealing... water. And still they messed it up by having Craig have absulotely no personality whatsoever, and no core shock value. By all means, go and see this movie if you enjoy seeing people get killed and nothing else.

    I Demand An Eragon Remake!

I want it and I want it now! That so called "movie" was a f----- nursery tale compared to the book? PG? If they had made it like the book, it should have been at least PG-13. I know that movies are never as good if they are made after a book, but at least the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and the "Harry Potter" series got the general tone of the book right, and the main plot stayed the same! There were so many things wrong with the movie, I have made a list.

-Saphira doesn't suddenly become "adult" in 15 seconds and be able to speak to Eragon through the mind. The movie tried to keep 100 minutes or under, so they had to cut out Saphira growing and becoming more connected to Eragon.

-The Dwarves are as tall or taller than the humans. Big problem there.

-The Varden's city is merely a caved village in the movie. It's a giant mountain-shaped city in the movie.

-They skipped Eragon blessing Elda, which would be needed to be included if they were going to make a movie of "Eldest".

-The fight between Eragon and Durza was fought in a dinner hall in the book, with Saphira swooping in at the end to save Eragon. In the movie it is a clumsy battle in the air with Eragon on Saphira and Durza on some flying demon thing.

-The ending. The book ends with Eragon waiting to leave with Arya in a few weeks to her city. Eragon has a dream in which some spirit appears to him and tells him that he awaits there. The movie has a different ending with Eragon wishing Arya off as she travels, alone. This ending destroys any chance of making a movie of Eldest.

In the end, I think that Eragon should have been directed by Peter Jackson. The only good thing about this movie was the adorable baby Saphira!

Brisingr, the third book in the series, is released later this month!
