Wii? I'll tell you

So they changed the name from Revolution, while that was a really cool name and all in the end that doesn't really matter much at all. Any name can catch on if the system is awsome, and from the looks of things the Wii will do just fine with its amazing capabilities. I'm looking forward to something innovative, the X Box 360 just isn't doing it for me, it just isn't that much better than my X Box or Gamecube. The graphics may be sharper but its the same games remade for the 3rd time and the controls work the same way they did back in the eighties. Sure we have a few new perks like rumble and anolog sticks but if you remember who first came out with thoose it was good ol' Nintendo. So think twice about the truely powerful system, its not in the graphics its in the power to change the way we play our games to a new and better way.

X-Box 360 eh?

So I hear there's this new system they call the 360 and I've been told its the new thing, but is it really so great? I"ve played a few of the launch titles, all of which have been geared towards showing off the capabilities of the triple core processor in the 360. If it wasn't for this dreaded overheating problem it would be a good system. I'm a fan of keeping the heat low on my systems, and that would be one of the worst things about this system in my eyes. I ran into the same problem with my broken Gamecube except for the fact that it was not overheating out of the box, it started overheating years after. I agree with some of the articles I've read recently wich stated that Microsoft is just using this as a beta test becuase they rushed the release of their new system. So if I do eventually buy a 360 it will be one or two versions later. Another crappy thing is how you can't play protected music that you pay for on it, but who pays for music these days? With so many peer to peer programs out there and the ever increasingly popular torrents. Well in a day or two I'm going to buy an original X-Box off my friend who wants to get a 360.  It seems rather silly but I always liked the X-Box and I plan to mod it and use it as a media center, its more usful as a computer and I like computers.
