our military is the strongest in the world... we are fighting a war that we can win. my heart and soul goes out to these people... if you look closely at the socom ps2 game.. you will see rob in the navy seal interview that sony did... yes my friends.. he is a real navy seal. we call him "the real deal."

ok so i have no money. i am not ashamed of that. i bought nation red off steam for $7. and small arms for $10. there are a bunch of hit games on xbox live for $10 each. and i play combat arms on my pc which is a free game. i recommend everyone with a good pc try combat arms. i am going to get some inheritance money i just don't know when.so i will wait... hopefully when i get that money i can buy a new car. my car is an old piece of junk. when i do get this money i will buy alot of new games. at the top of my list are mw2, brutal legend, dragon age, and forza 3.

i have been a gamer since i got my atari 2600 when i was a kid (about 8 years old) and now i am 40 and still gaming. i know a few other guys who are my age and still gaming. it always amazes me when i get a new game like halo 3 odst because the games are always getting better. doom 3 is another favorite of mine. now that i am older and living on my own, i have lots of time for games. i enjoy them now just as much as i ever did. we have come a long way from asteroids for the atari to halo 3. just think about what games are going to be like 20 or 30 years from now. i don't think i will be gaming that long but it is something to think about. i doubt i will even buy an xbox 720. i hope my xbox 360 still works for a long, long time because i have a large collection of games for it which i like very much. my gaming pc has been working good. and i like some pc games like doom 3, red alert 3, mvp baseball 2004, pga tour 2006, and a few others. pc gaming is alive and well. one of my friends reminded me that blizzard is making some great new games, like starcraft 2, diablo 3, and warcraft 4 for the pc. the pc has some really great rts games. i can't play rts games on my 360. i need a mouse and keyboard. and the graphics are better on the pc anyway. that's it for now! see ya later!

this is a fun time of year... i went to a party on friday night and got invited to a party on halloween night. i really don't know what costume to wear. i am not very good at that sort of thing. but i do like to party! so i know a few girls who are going to be partying. i hope i can go. that would be awesome.

ok i have been using computers for a long, long time and i do more that just browse internet sites with my computer. it's pretty simple really, i have documents, pictures, video and music. and games. there are a few really useful computer programs i thought i would list them for you. most of these are free. you can download them almost anywhere. download.com for example... ok here we go.
AVG Free edition - this is a very good and free anti-virus program with online updates. just as good as norton or mcafee if you ask me.
SpyBot Search and destroy - this program scans for adware on your computer. i also recommend deleting your temporary internet files at least onse a week. if you have a big problem, re-install windows.
3dmark06 - a very good benchmarking program.
Adobe Reader - a must have, especially for pdf files.
DivX Player and Converter - useful for DixX movies. comes with a codec for windows media player.
Google Earth - a fun little mapping program that shows a 3d view of the earth.
OpenOffice - a free set of programs designed to work like Microsoft Office.
ImgBurn - this utility will write image files to a disc.
Picasa - very useful for organizing your pictures
snagit - screen capture software.
gimp - a free version of photoshop
xfire - great for instant messaging with your gamer buddies
fraps - shows you fps, and records movies
dosbox - useful for running old dos programs
i don't use nero or easy media creator anymore. don't really need them with windows vista.

the bad news is my grandpa has died but it is really a blessing because he has been ill for quite some time. i went to visit him in the nursing home many times and i hated it. why? because i love my grandpa and didn't want to see him suffer like he was. he had a stroke and was paralyzed on his left side. this man was a war hero and if it weren't for him and people like him we would have lost world war 2. the germans had us outmatched. they had more planes, more guns and more firepower than we did.so thanks to my grandpa and his pilot flying b-17s on bombing runs over germany we won the war. he said to me that the germans fighter planes would fly right at them head on to try and shoot the nose off the plane.so you should be thankful to our brave soldiers that protected our homeland. if you are not, then shame on you.
my grandpa just recently passed away and is now in the promised land. he is with god and i know god loves him. i know i do. so i am getting inheritance which brings me to this... i got money to buy games!!! yay! thank you grandma and grandpa!!!

unfortunately i don't have enough money to buy the games i want. i wanted forza 3, brutal legend, and modern warfare 2 but it doesn't look like i can buy them. i got $500 from good old grandpa but that is not enough. there is not enough in my budget to buy any games. so i am going to have to tough it out until i get more money. the $500 is going to have to last a while. because i probably won't get any more until christmas. i am trying to sell my laptop which has windows xp and wi-fi and works really good. if i can do that i can buy a new game. life is hard. there is no free lunch. when you get out on your own you will realize that.
my girlfriend is coming over tomorrow and we are making a new video. i bought a spot light at home depot for $10 so the lighting is right. that is going to be alot of fun. she always finds a way to make me happy. always. so i am trying to make it through the fall. it is a little cooler now so i don't need my air conditioning anymore.
so everyone is getting modern warfare 2 except me. what a bummer. i will probably play some more halo 3 odst and wolfenstein. those games are great and i like them alot.
we are planning to make a new video tomorrow. so if you guys and girls want to see that i will post it.

ok i have a special treat for you guys and girls. my girlfriend playing bass guitar. the other guy is a friend of ours. i am holding the camera so you don't see me. we brought our equipment over to my place. 2 guitars, 2 amps, and tons of cable. my girlfriend's name is irma and we have been together for about 3 or 4 months. she is mexican and a very talented singer/guitar player. we are trying to find a drummer for our band. so i think you will like this very much. and tell all your friends about it! we want to sell records! the song is called "island in the sun" by weezer.

ok i know alot of you kids want to know what life is like away from your parents. here is a tip. make all the friends you can and hold on to them. they will help you when you are trouble. alot of you are going to be spending alot of time in a dorm room at college. that's a good thing because you learn alot and you get to meet people. the girl of your dreams might be in the next room. when i was in college i had alot of friends. we were working on a unix multi-user computer system and it was the best time of my life. stay in school! your friends will help you. i dropped out around 1989 and and partied with my friends too much and now i do not have that 4 year degree i wanted. i am not making any money. so don't do what i did and finished your education.
and other things. i got halo 3 odst and it is pretty cool. i have played it about 3 hours now and got a good feel for what the game is like. i think gamespot was right on target with their review. giving it a 9.0. i will rate the game a little later when i am forthur into it.
i am downloading the brutal legend and forza 3 demos right now and i will post again about those games as well.
for dinner, i had a frozen tv dinner. not near as good as mom's cooking. but it's food. enough to keep me going for until tonight and i can go to bed.
i have to do my own laundry and wash the dishes which sucks. the worsth thing is the laundry. it costs $1.25 in quarters for the washer and $.75 fr the dryer and it takes a long, long time.
so when you head out on that road on your own, it's going to be hard. mom and dad have made life easy for you. now you have to take care of yourself. so just remember this. you have to believe in god. otherwise you are going to be depressed. god will guide you throught the tough parts and he will summon you when he is ready.
if you got a girlfriend treat her nicely. a happy girl is the greatest thing ever. girls can be so sweet. and they can do things for you that no one else can. so take care of your girl. girls are smart. don't let them fool you. girls are always thing about the future. they want a house to raies their kids and money for the stuff they want. so keep this in mind.

ok so i got my gba sp a few years ago and i still play it. i have lots of games for it which i will list for you. the gba is cheap and has tons of great games. the nintendo ds and psp are overpriced and the games are too expensive. you could spend $500 on a new ds and games. that's way too much imo. the gba has games that are very good. i never get tired of playing super mario brothers or metroid fusion.
atari had the first color handheld called the lynx. this was a great handheld. much better than the gameboy or sega game gear. there were very few games made for it though. but the games that were out for it were very good. i really don't think there were any other handhelds worth mentioning. i totally like to take my gba sp with me if i am going to have a chance to play it. it has been lots of fun. i don't see any reason to spend tons of money on a new handheld.

so i am having fun with perfect dark zero which i have not finished yet. i am on mission 7 and i think there are about 10 missions in the game. it's a great game. if you haven't got it you can pick it up for about $10 used. it is a must have game for anyone with a xbox 360. also, playing bioshock and mass effect. and some old ps2 games. i have final fantasy x which i think is the best ff game ever. so i am waiting until monday (i will probably get it tuesday so i don't have to wait in line) and i think halo 3 odst is going to be great. and then i will get MW2 (i think it will have the best multi-player.)
i am probably going to pass on forza 3. i already have pgr 4 which is lots of fun. i don't really need forza 3. i play alot of racing games. i have alot of them for my ps2. gran tourismo 3 and 4, burnout take down, world rally championship, pro race driver, and midnight club 3. oh and i got formula 1 which is awesome.
i started gaming with my atari 2600 that i got when i was a kid. i played games like space invaders, asteroids, combat, frogger, kaboom and lot's more. and they were fun. i recently got this cool little gadget for my tv. it is a original atari joystick with built-in games! that is really cool. i play those when i am tired of 3d shooter games and racing games. i have alot of time to do stuff like that!
another demo i tried recently was darkest of days. gamespot game this game a low score. i don't see how they could not like this game. the demo was a blast! it's a great game! so another game to add to my wish list and if i ever get the jackpot at thunder valley i will buy it. there are ALOT of games i want. i will probably only get 2 games this year. that's $120 and about as much as i can spend on games. so that's it for now! hope you enjoyed this blog!

ok the total just went up tonight. i finally finished halo 3. i was disappointed by the ending. not really a very good one. but the cut scene was nice. i have also finished cod 4 and gears 2. i am trying to finish half life 2. i have tried cheat codes. but they don't work. i am on entanglement and it's really hard. i am also trying to finish star wars tfu. i am on the last mission and it's hard as hell. also trying to finish cod 2. more games i am working on are perfect dark zero, bioshock and mass effect. i have alot of sports games and racing games too. which i am pretty good at. i have madden 06, nba live 07, nhl 06, pga tour 06, mvp baseball 04, and others. so i am very happy with my games. and i am getting halo 3 odst. i just need to get that. can't wait to play it.

ok i just watched the demo video just posted on gamespot of forza 3 and it is AWESOME. i want it and i will get it. i like racing games. i have been a fan of racing games since i played pole position in the arcade. later on.. i got a nice gaming pc around 1997 and it had a 3d card in it and i bought need for speed hot pursuit. this game was great. you could pick the cars you want to drive and the track you want to drive on. they had all the great cars from porsche to the exotics.. all of them. so that was a great game. i have pgr4 and burnout paradise. and i want to get forza 3.
halo 3 odst is another game i want. and modern warfare 2 as well. i have been into shooter games for a long time and i think these will be great games. there are a bunch of other games i am interested in. section 8, borderlands, darkest of days just to name a few. i have alot of things on my mind right now so i am running out of things to say!
i know need for speed shift is going to be great. but i can't buy too many games. i figure i can buy 2 games for now. i also want nhl 10 and ncaa football 10. i am a huge football fan. i like college and nfl. go steelers!!!!
i also like baseball. i am a big giants fan and they have a shot at making the playoffs if they can beat colorado. i have alot of baseball video games. everything from about 2004 to now. and alot of old school atari/nintendo video games. my first was star league baseball for the atari 8 bit.it was great. my friend tom and i had alot of fun with that. barry bonds is my hero. he was left out of alot of games for some reason. but he is in mlb 2004 by 989 sports if you like him. i got mvp baseball 2004 for the pc. i was looking for mvp baseball 2005 but couldn't find it. there were no other games made. i got mlb 08 the show for my ps2 which is the best baseball game i have. the 360 baseball game is just not very good.

i like this game alot. it's got everything. the missions are fun and exciting. the gunfights are intense. it is one of the better games out now. i have a german grandmother and she taught me some german. wie gehts! it means what's up in german. i took german in high school and went to germany when i was a kid. germany won the world cup in 1974 and i have a t-shirt that we got somehow. i don't really remember how we got it. so i like fps games alot. i have been playing halo 3 and trying to finish it with my friend emperor zeruel. i am having lots of fun with the arcade game shadow complex as well. this is a great game. i recommend it.
i am about 25% through wolfenstein and i am on the last level on halo 3 fighting the final boss. i will finish it today or tomorrow. and i got lots of games i want to work on. for example, perfect dark zero (more than half way done) mass effect, and bioshock just to name a few. so those will keep me busy for a while. i am not getting halo 3 odst. because i don't have the $60. but i will get it someday. and modern warfare 2 as well.
another game i want is forza 3. i think it comes out in october. i have pgr4 and burnout paradise and those are really good. i have a ton of racing games for my ps2. i tried the dirt 2 demo and it is awesome. i would really like to get it. i am trying to limit the games i buy. i already have about 30 games for my 360. some pc games too. so i have so many games. i really don't need any more for a while.
i am into mobile gaming too. i haven't got anything new but i have a gba sp and a pocket pc. if you don't know about this let me tell you. you can do all kinds of things with a pocket pc. there are basically 2 kinds. microsoft windows mobile and palm os. the palm ones suck imo. also there is the iphone which is really cool but you got to pay a monthly bill for that. anyway, i got a dell axim x5 pocket pc for about $200. hp has a good one too. it's cool because i can run games like doom and duke 3d on it. it has 2 memory cards. a total of 1.5 gb memory. and hundreds of games. they only cost about $5 each and they are pretty good. plus i got my calendar, notes, music, video and pictures on it.so it's really cool and useful.

i totally want it. i would probably just get the game and use my fender stratocaster guitar although i would love one of those beatles guitars. it's going to be a while though. i just had to buy new tires for my car and have no money left. so anyway.. i will get some money for christmas from my grandparents. i would like to get halo 3 odst, modern warfare 2, forza 3, and the new rock band for christmas. that would make me happy.
so i got rock band 2 and the guitar. which is very nice. my favorite band is metallica and i got 4 metallica songs. battery comes with the game and i downloaded ... and justice for all, blackened, and ride the lightening. some really great songs. i can play some songs on medium like eye of the tiger. but i have trouble with some of the harder ones. my friend can play them all on expert. he is amazing. we went to guitar center about a week ago and were playing some of the guitars there. it was fun.

ok so i got wolfenstein. it is alot like call of duty. but it has more stuff too. cod had vehicles which was cool. wolfenstein has all kinds of cool stuff. you meet eric engle and he is like your buddy that shows you around. the german underground is alive and well. you must defeat the nazis. you get a weapon pretty early in the game. and start shooting. i like a game like that. cut scenes are your usual fare. the first thing you have to do is find the nazi weapons in the train. then eric blows it up. it's pretty cool. there's blue slime everywhere. i'm not sure exactly what that was. you can shoot at barrels and make them blow up like in half life 2. then something weird happened. there was an explosion and some floating bodies. yes i said floating bodies. some kind of weird weapon that the nazis had. then i found the medalian in the dig site. you get the veil power which is useful because it shows you things you need to do in the game. overall an excellent game. i give it a 9.0.
i also got shadow complex. it costs $15 from xbox live market place. this game is really cool. the best way i can describe it is a side scrolling platformer kinda like contra. but it is more than that. you must save clare from some evil doers. the thing that drives me nuts is everytime you find her, she is taken away someplace else. but this game has all the good stuff. running, jumping, climbing. and it has weapons, a pistol, a machine gun, grenades. a very good game that i am happy to have.

i was just reading about this. it's very interesting. i want a ps3 and now is a good time to get one. the new "slim" model will be availabe september 1st and comes with a 120gb hard drive. 50% bigger than the current model. i think sony is taking over the video game market! like they did with the ps2! i don't think the xbox can compete anymore. linki want to get these games for it... heavenly sword, uncharted, infamous, killzone 2 and resistance 1 and 2. and new games coming out like uncharted 2 and god of war 3.
reasons to buy a new ps3.
new slim model
blu-ray player
only costs $299
more new games coming out.
microsoft seems to be losing the fight.
disadvantage - does not play ps1 and ps2 games
