  games ratings.

  i just went through my whole list of games and rated a bunch of them. most of them are old games. mostly 360 and pc games. some that stand out for me are world of warcraft, red alert 2, crysis, ut3, etc... these games are alot of fun and i gave them high ratings. one game i didn't like was tennis masters series. this game is aweful and not worth buying. another bad game is nascar simracing. other than that, i like most of my games. i am sort of a games collector. i like getting the really good games and holding on to them so i can go back and play them again.

  wireless networking..

  i was on the phone with linksys today trying to get my old crappy notebook computer to work. the problem was, it wasn't connecting to the internet. i recently enabled wireless security on my router. so that may have caused it. but the guy at linksys was very helpful. we tried re-installing the drivers and that worked. i am back online with my notebook computer!!

  i bought it around 2001. it is kinda slow but other than that works fine. i also have a wireless adapter for my 360 which works great. i did that because i didn't want cables running all over the place.

  so everything is working great now. got my stuff working again. my wife used to like playing around on the laptop. and i like using it from the kitchen or wherever i want. battery power works good. hopefully won't have anymore problems.

  gears of war 2, re5, fallout 3, etc..

  just finished watching the microsoft press conference... i know.. i am a little late.. had to do stuff today like wash my car and do my laundry. anyway.. the games part of the show was interesting. all this talk about how the 360 is going to be the one and only thing you need in your life disturbs me. i got a 360 and i got it for games! i don't care about downloading movies and tv shows!! they showed some new titles coming to xbla like geometry wars 2 and galaga (new version) they did show some pretty good footage of geow 2 and re5 and fallout 3. fallout 3 is a game that is hard to understand. it is from bethesda, the makers of oblivion, so i'm thinking, this will kick ass.

  but the free roaming idea seems a little odd. i can understand free roaming in a mmorpg. and apparently you can switch between fps and tps while you are playing. i don't know about that. seems like you might get lost or something while playing this game. geow 2 and re5 look awesome... geow 2 will be out in november, re5 march 2009. and my totally fav 2 games starcraft 2 and star wars tfu weren't featured in the video. and i still haven't got ninja gaiden 2!! how am i going to get all the games i want? i know this guy named alex who sells stuff really cheap. no i'm kidding... i will probably pick out 2 or 3 games and buy them. who knows which ones they will be since there are so many great games out there.

  my wishlist has about 50 games in it. i think i will try to focus on what's coming out first. like star wars tfu in september. and then maybe gears of war 2. that is probably what i will do and then just see what else is coming in the near future and decide if i want those. and for christmas i should be getting 2 games. one from my grandpa and one from dad. so if i spend $120 on those 2 games, that will probably wipe me out. yeah kids.. that's alot of money and i don't have very much.

  the whole new dashboard thing seems like a bad idea. i like the dashboard the way it is! it's easy to download demos and stuff and it's easy to join mp games and chat with your friends! why change it!!!
