    FINALLY, Easter Holidays are here!!

Since Good Friday and Easter Monday are both public holidays here, I can finally catch up on some RPGs that I have been neglecting.
Dragon Quest 8 and Valkyrie Profile, HERE I COME!! Of course I'll have to through in some time at church, restaurant hopping fun and maybe even a little beach time into the mix, but what a mix it is!! WOOHOO!!

The high cost of (island) living

So, I was browsing through the newspaper the other morning and I notice a few stores advertising their stock of 20GB and 60GB PS3s. Then I look at the prices which range from $1,100 to $2,000 for the 60GB. Wow. So how much is that in American dollars? Well it's the exact same, because the Bahamian dollar is equal to the American dollar. So as you can see, that's really expensive. Normally what I do with consoles and games is to buy it online at Amazon.com or make a trip to the U.S. to purchase what I need gamewise. I still have to pay an import fee/duty but it's still a heck of a lot cheaper than purchasing that type of stuff here in The Bahamas. I guess I can't really complain because we don't pay any taxes and there is no income tax, so I guess it's a bit of a trade off. I just thought I'd let you all know that island life ain't always easy, but I still love it!

So tell me, what type of music do you like?

    Hey there,

Welcome to my mezzanine and thank you for coming. It's sort of a place to chill, relax and speak your mind in between floors. I got the name from one of my favourite Massive Attack albums. If you haven't listened to it, you may want to check it out sometime

Anyway, if you you're stopping in, let me know what type of music you're into before you leave and maybe even a few of your favourite artists. They say you can tell a lot about a person by the type of music they listen to. I truly believe that. Here's a few of my favourites:

    Genres:

    Trip-Hop
    Drum 'n' Bass/Jungle
    Ragga/Reggae
    90's Grunge
    Old Hip-Hop
    Brazillian Bossa Nova

    Artists:

    Radiohead
    Esthero
    Massive Attack
    Sneaker Pimps
    Tricky
    Hooverphonic
    The Roots
    Camp Lo
    The Pharcyde
    Bjork
    Portishead
    Goldie
    High Contrast
    Air
    Bebel Gilberto
    Mos Def
    PJ Harvey
