Hey gamespot! How's it going? I've really missed the people here, and it feels great to be back, well, you know, for at least the time being. I promised one last blog for the release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots, and here it is. I haven't played it yet, but it's right here. My gamespot groupies come first! lol. The wait of four long years are over, as I grasp the game case in my hand. It's really a feeling I can't describe. Hideo Kojima's masterpiece is finally upon us, and my Playstation 3's price tag has finally been justified. I'd just like to say thank you to Hideo Kojima for such a fine piece of art, and for being the greatest developer in the industry, he's truly a legend. Every single Playstation I have purchased had to do with an MGS game. PS1, MGS, PS2, MGS 2, and eventually 3, and here we are, the Playstation 3 with MGS4. This final salute goes out to Solid Snake, my personal favorite video game character whom I've occompanied through many hours of gameplay since the year 1998. As his saga comes to an end, I can safely say, Solid Snake goes down in history as one of the best, and in my opinion, THE most BADASS characters in video game history! Finally, here's the final good bye, and farewell. If you wanna keep in contact, you know where to find me, emails up there, and PSN and gamertag. Now, I'm off to play some MGS4 =) as for Solid Snake....

    He's kept you waiting huh?

I find it utterly absurd how they fired him over a stupid review. I really do not know all the details, but if it is infact because of a simple review, that's just disgusting. As in a previous blog, I told you, I only trust a couple of reviewers. Them being Jeff and, Alex, however, now it's just Alex. I'll come to the site to check up on things, but this whole gamespot community stuff is over for me, sorry. You let a quality reviewer go gamespot. That's like the WWE telling HHH to leave. The funny thing is, didn't that game suck anyways? Why would they even make such an abysmal game. If you ask me, Jeff should've left because they gave him that nasty game to play. I liked Jeff because he always told a game for what it's worth. Weather it being Bioshock, or Zelda. He never over sold a game, just because everyone else did. Hey, sure, maybe Tony Hawk, but, that was for it's time. (that game was indeed fantastic). Just because Kane and Lynch is a bad game, that's not Jeffs fault. Oh well, this isn't Jeff at lost, but indeed Gamespot. Thanks Jeff for everything you've done, but this tainted website is no more for me in an interactive way. Man... and I was about to start posting videos of me and my bro at the arcade playing DDR/In the Groove. Oh well. But I did have fun here, a lot of fun actually. Everyone here was great to me, and they're all great. I never thought my profile would get so many views. I thought it would have stayed in the double digit numbers. Thanks guys. If you wanna Keep in touch, my PSN is Zift, and my gamertag is Shazalia (don't know when i'll get a new live subscription though). Or, add me on MSN, Edge_head86@ hotmail.com, farewell.

However, you can expect ONE last short blog when Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out. I need to say that the best game in the world is finally here. When MGS4 comes out, expect one, last, short blog, see ya.

I find it uterrly absurd whenever reviewers, mainly gamespot, gives something a score, but people get mad about it. Like, Zelda for example got an 8.8, yet people got mad. Yes, because I forgot, an 8.8 ACTUALLY means 0, and it's terrible. Now, Mass effect, an 8.5. Yet, complaints still arise? Excuse me as I take some time to wrap my head around this, since when was an 8 or above a bad score? Seriously, explain please. You also have to keep in mind; this is the OPINION, key word, OPINION, of the reviewer. That person's opinion is inevitably different than someone else's. I could say a game should get a 5, but someone can say it should get a 10. Okay, to each his own, this is MY opinion, and that is YOURES. So, this is strictly opinion. Why must people get so immature over a simple score? At the end of the game, DO YOU LIKE THE GAME? Or are you just getting it simply because it got a 9. I fell in that trap. Call of duty 4, a 9? Nope, an 8 for me, again, OPINION. Furthermore, I think someone got mad because Galaxy didn't get a 10. Oh, you're right, a 9.5 is terrible, let's all sue Gamespot. I think people should just grow up, and accept the fact that this is an opinion, and at the end of the day, it shouldn't affect your purchase. Hey, people out there actually liked Big Rigs, isn't that funny?

I myself am Arab, and with all the Arabic references in the game, it makes it that much better for me. Altair, the main character is an Arabic word, which means, "the flying one", or the "flyer". When I realized that, I went crazy, and got even more happy. His full name is Altair Ibn- La ahad. Ibn means son, and la-ahad means no one. So in full terms, he's Altair- the flyer, Ibn la-ahad, which is son of the no one. So in English terms, he's the flyer, the son of no one. Lol, hope you liked the lesson. These little aspects of the game make me appreciate it so much greater. It makes my culture feel appreciated. I hope I can find some Arabic words scattered across the vast world of Assassin's Creed, which are sure to make me jump up in joy. Thank you Jade Raymond, on top of your good looks, you've taken into account my culture, which is a biggie for me in gaming. Oh well, off to play some more, and btw, HIGHLY recommended game.

Yeah, they were out of the PS3 versions so I decided to get it for the 360. There's been sudden talk of the 360 version being the preffered one, although I didn't care which one I got, because it's the same thing, and it's Assassin's Creed!, I couldn't wait. Haven't played it yet, gotta get to some Science done first, then I'll play. Feel free to leave your impressions on the game if you have, i'll ttyl.

Eddie Guerrero is one of those things I just can't let go of. On this day, on November 13th around 11 Am, Eddie Guerrero was found dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The cause was of a heart attack. This broke my heart as soon has I heard the news. Eddie left behind a legacy like no one else. Eddie made you laugh, and cry. He always stole the show. Weather it being him lieng, cheating, or stealing. When Eddie Guerrero won his first WWE title at No way Out 2004, it gave me goose bumps. I thought to myself, this is a man who lost his wife, his children and his job to drugs, and alcohol, and now being 4 years sober, he's on top of the world. Eddie's an inspiration to me. He makes me go the distance. If it's a test, or running the gym exam, I give that 110% because of Eddie. He's my Idol and inspiration. It's been two years since Eddie's death, and it still feels like yesterday. Eddie Guerrero was a great wrestler, and above all a great father. He was loved by everyone around him. As only a fan, I feel quite an impact; I can only imagine how his family feels. Eddie Guerrero is a legendary Icon. While some forgot, or will forget, I simply can't, Because Eddie lives inside me. Above everything else, I would like to say thank you. Thank you Eddie for everything you've done. Thank you for entertaining me, and thank you for being my inspiration. On this day I say R.I.P Eddie Guerrero. You've done so much, and there's so much to remember you by. Every time I watch Smackdown I always think how Smackdown is, and never will be the same without you. God speed Eddie.

Other than enjoying the new Angels and Airwaves album (highly reccommended again), this week has been nothing but homework. However, in the up coming weeks, it should be a little better, and I can play some games. But, there are so many coming out, or already out that I want, so out of these games which one do you think I should get?

    Halo 3

    Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

    Assassin's creed

Smackdown vs raw 2008 ( although I'm a little bored of the series)

    Mass Effect

    Call od Duty 4.

Those are it. Remember only one game, lol. I'll eventually pick up some of the other in months, or maybe next year, or possibly rent. But out of these choices, which do you think is the best choice? Thanks.

The new Angels and Airwaves album hit stores today (I-empire). I don't usually buy albums, I just download them. But considering I loved their last album, I thought I'll just buy this one. I picked it up today, and it's simply fantastic. this can very well be my first 5/5 for an album. All the songs are fantastic, and very catchy, and have meaning. I mean, I love this album so much, I can't explain it in words. No matter what music genre you like, LISTEN TO THIS. It's very, very, VERY good, and I highly reccommend it. The album looks exactly like my blog header, but here's a link on the album. I would tell you which songs I reccommend, but there's no point, since I reccommend every single song on the album, and that's rare. Angels and Airwave's I-empire is as pure as gold can be.

The blog topic came to mind while thinking of, how much will SVR 08 get? It got a 7.5 from IGN, so I thought, if Gamespot were to give it a, "not so stellar" review, I'm better off getting Assassin's Creed or Halo 3. (I'm sure Navarro will rate it, feel free to give me some suggestions on which of the three to get.) Anyways, back to the topic, who's your favorite reviewer? For me, it's only been three people I ever trusted, Kasavin, Navarro, and Gerstmann. Too bad Kasavin's gone, I really liked him, and he made many factors for me purchasing a game. Now, the only reviews I bother reading are from Alex Navarro or, Jeff Gerstmann. Navarro makes me laugh quite a bit, he cracks me up (usually in video reviews), All the while giving a great review. Gerstmann makes me laugh at times, but the reason I read his reviews are because they're rich in detail, and often make that Yes or No decision. No offense to any Gamespot reviewers, But I can only take advice from Jeff and Alex. Maybe Ryan Davis on circumstance, but it's usually Jeff or Alex. (Again, it's a shame Greg Kasavin's not here). So who's your favorite reviewer(s)?

Hm.. seems interesting, but more or less useless to me, since PS3's my blue ray player. But aside from that, aren't gaming machines eseentially aimed at gaming? Why so many models, and now this? Oh well, just my two cents.

It's Rambo, need I say more. After Rocky Balboa, Stallone still has it, and I really look forward for this movie. The movie is just called Rambo, period. I can't wait.

The game looked pretty good, and I was thinking of getting it for 360, however, I think I'll just rent it for PS3.

I thought hard about which one to get, but I ended up getting Bioshock. Considering I won't be on live for a while, I wanted a single player game to keep me busy, and I heard it's fairly lengthy. I'll pick up Halo later on, or someday. But the atmosphere in Bioshock, and the over all polish of the game just appealed to me greatly. Rapture, and the Big Daddy's were eventually the final factor. I haven't played much, I've been a little busy, but my brother played a bit. So, anyone that has Bioshock, did I make a good choice, do you think I'll have a grea time with it? Anyways, I'll Talk to you guys later.
