Yes that is what it feels like for me anyways. Today was my last day at my finance internship and tomorrow I am heading out for vacation. (Ocean City, Maryland, wooo!). I have been pretty bad at reading and posting on all your blogs recently. I hope I'll get few a good amount today and before I leave tomorrow so my apologies.

In another news I bought my first DS game. It is Puzzlequest and I know a few of you have it/have played it. So far I really like it although sometimes it can be rather frustrating for someone like myself.

Hope everyone else's summer super awesome fantastic

Saw the Dark Knight last night at midnight. It fufilled all of my hopes and dreams. Heath Ledger was awesome, the guy who played harvey dent was great too. Maggie Gylenhaal was ugh. So much worse than katie holmes in my opinion. Wish she came back for this one. I won't go into any details really since I know a good majority of everyone wants to see it/plans to see it. But wow, great movie.

Also yesterday i bought my first regular xbox game: fable. Plan to play it before I buy fable 2. Fable 2 looked pretty good at e3 and i've had my eye on it. Also picked up a charger for my ds since my friend didn't give me one of those.

Softball game tonight, and work kicked by arse this week, mentally and physically. Its a real cool internship for the summer, but man I can't imagine working like I am for the next 30/40/50 years like this.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

ps i wasn't as bummed as a lot of people about e3, but who knows!

That is what I will be like in an hour or two I'm sure, after I've downed my first free slurpee from 7/11 the convenience store since today is july 11th or 7/11!

Also more importantly and pertaining more to the site, today is my four year anniversary here! WOOO. Sadly I'm like level 15 on gspot and 3 or 4 on tv.com. :-/.

Monday I start my first real job in corporate america, wearing a suit and tie and all that jazz. I'll be working for Merrill Lynch. More like being a slave really though. I know longer have to work in IT anymore thank god. Don't really care for that stuff. Also totally screwed up with a girl a couple weeks ago, another wahoo.

In gaming news, E3 is exciting me and it isn't even here yet. Spore, SOCOM, Little Big Planet and so many more awesome titles are coming out soon. Just in time for me to ignore college yet again. Speaking of which my grades from last semester kicked butt. But anyways, I'm really excited for a lot of titles and it could result in a very large video game binge which is pretty uncommon for me. On top of all of this my friend gave me his old DS which is basically brand new since he never used it which is pretty sick. I haven't bought any games for it yet, but he gave me one he didn't play anymore.

Hmm what else. This past Tuesday I saw Hellboy II at an advanced screening. I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, but I thought this sequel was pretty good. I even remember telling myself that it was better than I thought it would be during the actual movie. There was a dragging part of it though. This upcoming tuesday or wednesday I should be seeing the new batman and I cannot wait. It is going to be freaking awesome, plus its 2 hours and thirty six minutes. I can't imagine that much awesomeness.

    Have a great weekend!!

Ugh, and there may be nothing worse than school during the summer. Such a huge damper on everything. I really don't have too much to complain about because its just one class and it doesn't entail too much, but I am a person of procrastination. And as many of us know, procrastination and pretty much anything don't go to well together. (Especially papers in my case).

Anyways, I'll be posting another blog relatively soon compared to my last ones and it will be a bit beefier and perhaps better. Thanks for tuning in and have an excellent few days

But sadly they go by too fast. Picked up GTA IV and im about 30% through it already which i guess is almost half of story mode. The game is real fun and looks great too. I was really happy to find that Lazlo one of the radio station hosts was back, although I have to say I'm not as entertained with him as much as I was before. Plus he has a much more dirty mouth now. I've also been playing a little bit more of The show and am enjoying that as well. My create a player made it too the majors in his third season and now in my fifth season I'm a leading canidadate for MVP and some other awards. Here is a screen shot from what the newspaper said during the world series my rookie year. I made the paper :-D

This was my first multi-homerun game so it was pretty special. Unfortunately we lost game 7.

In other news I plan on seeing Prince Caspian tomorrow. I've been hearing some good things about it and I though that the Lion the witch and the wardrobe was pretty good. Also tomorrow marks the first official day that I will be a substitute high school teacher. I'm not interested in being a teacher, I just have some downtime before my other job starts and they make decent money, plus I think it may be fun.

Also, the office season finale was awesome, ughhh i really can't wait til next year to watch new episodes again. I can say the same for a quite a few shows though, I'm a t.v. fiend :-/

    Catch you guys later

Finally. I just finished my last exam earlier today and should be the conclusion of my junior year, wooo! I think most of my marks should be pretty good other than a stupid english class, intro to studies in narrative :-/. Anyways, I should be back on the site more and able to make comments again and what not. I'll be taking the rest of the week left to get settled back home and just destress, plus hopeully get gta iv and get some playtime in.

    See you all around

  • 15Apr 08

I haven't been around for the past week or so, just some here and there comments on a few blogs. School is coming to a close and so are term papers, projects and finals so I'm pretty crammed with things to do. Once that all clears by early May I should be back around, so don't go deleting me from your friends list!

    Hope everyone is doing well

April fools has come and gone. I was totally fooled by ign for the legend of zelda movie towards the end of the night. The website they had put together for it was very well done, plus the video looked pretty good for a low budget indie take on it. It got me thinking that maybe nintendo should tackle a movie for the series. I know they did Pokemon a few years ago and that went relatively well based on their budgets, can't think of any other nintendo films though. Maybe Super Mario was? Can't really remember.

Anyways, a few days ago I finished my second season for my character on his "Road to the show". I was able to increase my stats in almost every aspect of the game. The most significant jump was that I brought my season average up to .350.

Further in baseball news the season started this week, yay! I'm a huge mets fan so, go mets!

The weekend is here for me, and I should be having a few buddies visit for a day or two. It should be fun. Have a good weekend everyone

So I got tagged a few days back so here will be the five facts about me that I probably haven't divulged here before. I don't hate them just trying to be clever in attempting a play on words.

1.) For almost my entire freshman and sophomore year in college world of warcraft (WoW) ran my life. Also in my sophomore and junior year in high school I was addicted to socom and its first sequel.

2.) I was an admin for MLG for a few years

3.) I have had this account for almost four years, but hardly used it because I liked the gameFAQs portion more. I'm starting to stray away from that side though and use gamespot more. My account is a level 36 on GameFAQs and has almost 2300 karma.

4.) I'm a junior at Bryant University, located in Rhode Island. I'm currently majoring in Finance with a double minor to support it. I'm pretty smart when I'm not preoccupied with my video game obsessions. I had an 82 average during WoW, and since I have improved it to a 93.

5.) Hmm scrounging for something to say. I'm very conscientious of how others perceive me.

I think most people have been tagged by now so I'll just leave it alone.

Also in other news I saw the movie 21 yesterday. I thought it was pretty good and should have a review on it for movietome in a few.

The Halo 3 maps that were released a few months ago are finally free. I haven't played them yet, but I'm sure I will soon. I recently began playing Halo again so this fits in well. One of my roomates just purchased a live account so we have been playing some together.

It is almost the weekend and I have some movies to watch and some games to play. Along with some studying to do . Have a good weekend!

Happy Easter weekend everyone and if you aren't catholic, goooo march madness. The tourney has been pretty good this year in my opinion and my brackett is already decently screwed up unforunately. I'm home for the weekend so I won't really be gaming other than some brawl maybe.

I also ranked up today to level 12 wahooo. Have a good weekend!

  • 18Mar 08

Spring break was officially over with my first day of classes of the week today. How fast time flies when you don't have to do work. I played a little bit of brawl with my brother and was real impressed with it. Also played a lot of mlb 08 the show. Im addicted to the "road to the show" part where you create your own character and try to work him up to the big leagues, then retire, and hopefully get inducted into the hall of fame. I signed with the mets to a AA contract, hit .310 with twelve dingers and about fifty rbi's. Not too shabby, I'm playing the position of first base. I had originally signed with the mets but they traded me away to the Oakland Athletics halfway through the season. However, I had only signed a one year contract so I was able to resign with the mets the following season, which is the season I'm currently on. I was promoted to the AAA bench which is great, but also a bummer cause I don't play that much being on the bench most of the time, but someone just got hurt so that could be a good thing.

Anyways, I feel like I'm still a video game failure for not finishing Assassins Creed yet. I only have one more of the nine to kill. Figure it wouldn't be that hard to pop the game back in, but it is. Also I signed up for one of the NCAA march madness brackets on here. Here it is Brackett

    Have a good one everyone!

PS3 gave me quite a scare today and yesterday. I brought it home from school because I figured I would play it a bit since i just purchased The Show 08 yesterday. Anyways I hooked it up and the thing wasn't working! Nothing was showing on my tv at all. The machine turned on, the light was green, it was making some noise, but nothing, no sound or video. Well it turned out that I had to set my PS3 Settings back to 480i (YRW) or no sound or picture would show up because I had the settings up for 1080i at school. I did not know that the ps3 did that kind of thing. Should have read the manual. Anywho that is my story. Enjoy this very rainy weekend, and happy brawling for all you brawlers.

Spring Break is finally here! This week was absolute chaos with papers and tests, why I haven't been around this week really. Not going anywhere for break unforunately . But it will be a great time to sleep and relax. Going to pick up "The Show" today or tomorrow and I should finish Assassins Creed hopefully over the next couple days.

Hope everyone's week is going well!

So President Clinton came and went yesterday. It was really cool, I was able to get in the front row. (lots of waiting) I had never seen a president give a speech before in person before, it most certainly was memorable. He is a great public speaker, unlike the current president. Also without trying to get into politics, he brought up a lot of good points. I managed to get some pictures with him, and shook his hand. Real nice guy.

His secret security was intense too. Constantly scanning the crowd for threats and what not. I had take a lot of pictures of the event. I'd try to show them here, but apparently I'm awful at putting them in this blog.

Have a few papers to write for the event which sucks but it shouldn't be too difficult. I'm almost done with Assassins Creed. I think I'll write my first review on it once I do. Also going to see Vantage Point in an hour or two. I may write a review on that too. Finally, I purchased Guitar Hero 3 for xbox 360 yesterday. I got sucked in further .

    Have a great weekend!

O_O, so the university announced today that former president of the U.S. of A and potentially the first, "first man" is coming on Thursday. He is speaking on behalf of his wife whom is running for president, and currently in second for the democratic party nomination, but that may change depending on how Ohio and Texas go. (they say she has the edge) Well anyways I am quite pumped to get the chance to hear the man talk, he was a great president bar the sex scandal. I'm not too sure how his wife would be if she won but eh. My university is kinda small, (3000 full time undergrad) so I think it is pretty awesome that he is stopping by. Definetly the most famous spokesman we've had come to date. Jack Welch, former CEO of GE is I guess the next.

+ Secret service in action ahahaha awesome.

This weekend sucked, I worked on my paper all weekend, and played virtually no video games. Assassins Creed does not want to be finished rawr.

Wahoo, I think I hit level 10 yesterday or the day before, just been studying for an exam I had today in Operations Management so I haven't been on too much lately. I believe the test went pretty well. Once I finished it, it marked the start of my weekend. Have quite a bit of work to do, but I plan to beat Assasins Creed if not come pretty close!

Also have the dorm room to myself for a couple nights, saweet.

Yesterday afternoon I decided to play some more Super Mario Galaxy and a couple hours later, done! A short game overall in my opinion (yea I could go get all 120 stars, but no thanks) and I still want to rank super mario 64 ahead of it. Don't get me wrong it still is great and the wii mote is fantastic with it, idk i just did not like it as much as I thought I would. Now I really mean it when I say Assassins creed is my next game, not buying another until this one is all done, or march 4th/5th is here (baseball!)

Also in other news I contributed my first television show review on Tv.com. I did it on Digimon -_-, I used to like the show a lot when I was younger. I may continue to do more reviews in the future, we'll see if time is on my side.

    Until next time!
