I think I'll make one now.
First, Scribblenauts. I got it a few days ago and have been playing it since. It's very fun, the amount of objects you can create is amazing, and Cthulu. My favorite puzzle is the one where you contain a corpse and bury it, even if it is really easy. The game has its flaws however, as shown in the below quote because I don't want to retype it and just copypasting it would be boring.
shadowsurvivor1 wrote:I got Scribblenauts a few days ago, I honestly thought it was overrated.
Sure, it's really fun with the amount of objects you can use, and some of the puzzles are pretty fun to solve (only SOME). But I'm going to say what just about everyone else has said, and that is that the game doesn't MAKE you be creative. Most levels can be solved with the exact same two objects every time. It kinda loses the fun.
Aside from that, there's also the ridiculous controls. You tap. Tap tap tap tap tap tap tap. Tap. Tap for movement. Tap for placing objects. Tap for making objects. Tap for shooting. Tap for grabbing. Tap for everything. Naturally, you'd expect a few movement problems from this. What would wouldn't expect is the game confusing "place water on fire" with "run Maxwell into a tripwire/pool of lava/Cthulu". I found myself making a wall on some levels just to stop my daft hero from killing himself.
Second, I like these songs. They don't really have much to do with each other but they're really good

Finally, cross country. I went up to Memphis a few weeks ago and ran in some big meet. It was fun, I ran the best 5K I've ever run, and I threw up. How fun. I really wasn't expecting to run it in 22:05
Oh yes, have a pretty picture

'Ello.
Just some stuff.
School started yesterday. Since it exceeded my extremely low expectations, I'd say freshman year will actually be pretty good.
I have an xfire, add me as bush42.
I'm running a 5K called "Run for the Son" tomorrow. At 8 am.
A great friend of mine (at least in my opinion) had to move away. Darn.
I can apparently get a new game, and I'd like a Burnout game, but I can't decide between Revenge and Paradise.Later.

WAZZZZZAAAAAHHHHHHHHH.
Big news, Internet! After months of talking about it with no real plans of getting it, I bought Fallout 3.
It is AWESOME. But then again, so was Oblivion. And Fallout 3's basically Oblivion with guns.
Sorry if I can't provide a better description. Just google it or something, lazy bums.
So. Lots of celeb deaths. Farrah Fawcett, MJ, Ed McMahan, and Billy Mays. I was really shocked at Mays's death, and made it a point to yell at everyone in his honor.
So I was looking at my long-forgotten profile and realized that I'm almost level 32. 99% as of this blog.
I got the feeling that I wound up with 7000something posts and a lot of pointless blogs without actually doing anything.Basketball Team Camp is this week. I HATE it. 5 22 minute games? For 5 days? Really now. They're also really spaced out and we can't leave in between, so I was stuck in my school's gym from 9 in the morning to 7 in the afternoon.
To make up for my complete lack of anything funny in the past few months, have a picture

Hey
I remember you guys
Here's some stuff that happened after that last blog way back in ye olden times.
School ended. I somehow managed to bring up an 88 in honors English to finish with all A's. Woo?
Just Cause fail'd on my computer and ended up giving me another reason to hate Vista.
I got inFamous. It's probably my favorite game on the PS3 right now, even better than MGS4. In my opinion of course. The only real problems I had were the pop-in graphics, Cole sometimes falling through the floor, and how Cole's animations were amazing and everyone else looked like idiots running around. Also, the story was pretty good RIGHT UP UNTIL THE END.
Anyways, the game's loads of fun, which kinda wears off after the game tells you to beat it again. I can't really bring myself to play as the Evil side. It just doesn't seem as good after I finished it.
In other news, I was going to go to the movies with a few of my friends, but they blew me off to eat Mexican.
The White Stripes are an awesome band.
Bah

ONE MORE DAY LEFT OF SCHOOL.
Yeah.
I got Just Cause, haven't played it yet though. Looks freakin' amazing. Now, I was going to get Fallout 3. Instead, I was like NO. INFAMOUS LOOKS BETTER. I'M PREORDERING THAT. The preorder will come later, but inFamous looks awssim as well.
I also started reading a manga called Gimmick! It's about a pair of SFX people who do ridiculous stuff like saving a theme park from a bomber and helping a girl meet her old boyfriend and such. You wouldn't think it'd be very good but it's actually pretty decent.
Lawd, what happened to my sense of humor?

First Star Wars game is GO.
So, I first played this game waaaaay back in like '02. One of my friends was like DUDE GET THIS GAME IT'S STILL AWESOME and I was like OKAY and there was a great shortage of punctuation marks and I ended up having it.
It's pretty fun. I am absolutely awful at force fighting though. ALSO, THE COW SUIT IS THE BEST SKIN EVER.
Bad blog is bad.
I'm planning on getting either Burnout Paradise or Fallout 3 soon, hopefully both, probably Fallout. Also, I got Audiosurf and played a few songs on it. It was a little buggy at first. So buggy, in fact, that I couldn't even finish the track before the song ended due to lag. But I used my amazing power of having no clue what I'm doing to make it run extremely smoothly. And it is WIN.

Yeah, I got it. Your friendly neighborhood shadowsurvivor is out fighting giant beasts.
So I've wanted this game since I first heard about it, even more so after playing a demo. However, my lack of a ps2 made a huge dent in my plans. So after getting a ps3 I was like HELL YEAH MGS4 and completely ignored SotC.
Now, I bought a magazine during my little trip to California. This magazine listed the best DS, 360, Wii, etc. games of all time. SotC came up number 2 for ps2, right behind God of War 2. Seeing this, I realized: I WANT THIS GAME.
Upon returning home, I took a trip to my local Gamestop and bought it. The cashier gave me the news that PS3s weren't backwards compatible. I dd not know this. Apparently Sony held a meeting sometime in November to stop making them like that, because people were buying the cheaper PS2 games over PS3 stuff. I managed to procure one in October. Woo!
The game is awesome. The environment is MASSIVE, and the best part is, no load times! The controls are okay, don't really like the horse controls. I have run my BATTLE HORSE into a tree, a brick wall, and almost off a cliff. Aside from my iffy riding skills, I love it. I'm already done with the 4th colossus. My battle with the 3rd was rather interesting. I had climbed all the way up to the head and was busy poking holes in it with my needle of a sword, when I looked at my stamina. It was next to nothing. The tall fellow was busily having a seizure trying to get me off. I let go of him and fell ALLLL THE WAAAAAY TO THE GROUND. Amazingly, I survived and beat it, then passed out and awakened in the Shrine of Worship. Hurr.
But yeah, I love it.
That's about all.

Another year, another V Day.
Feliz dia de San Valentin, everybody.
I haven't made a blog since that last one I made, so I decided to make a new one.
Nothing really eventful has happened. Call of Duty 5 should be getting here in a few days.On to Valentine's Day.
A thing at my school involves buying 'Love Pops' (heart shaped suckers ORIGINAL NAME AMIRITE?) for other people and coming up with whimsical names so they have to USE THEIR OL' NOGGIN to find out who it is. For example, one guy in my grade bought like 10 and sent them under the name Polar Bear. Funny stuff eh? Well, since everyone at school just loves me so much, mainly for my amazing charisma and wit, I got 1 sucker. From Forrest Gump. But hey, free candy is free candy amirite? I just hope it's not from that Polar Bear guy. That'd be creepy.Oh, Disciple Now at church. We got to listen to the epic win that is Thalon and had a hilarious speaker named Bert Bean. Et cetera. WAIT I FORGOT TO MENTION. Now, just for the laughs, I spout off random Latin phrases! What fun.
My Spanish teacher gave the cIass a sheet of Spanish pick up lines. I would've asked her if she was implying that we were desperate but she had already given us this long speech about excuses, which in itself was an excuse because she had forgotten to give someone a sheet necessary for our REALLY BIG GRADE. Hypocrisy at its best PLUS the added little bonus of it being Spiritual Emphasis Week. Afterwards, she made us draw V-Day cards. She told me my impeccably detailed heart / Awesome face mutation looked like a pumpkin.
This blog is eerily long and personal. Must be sleep deprivation.

Howdy
So I was watching the Grammys last night. I turned it on because my friend who has heard like one Radiohead song texted me and was all OMG RADIOHEAD!!11!1! So I flipped over to ABC or whatnot and watched Thom Yorke dance all over the place. Too bored to do anything else, I continued watching. Justin Timberlake's song was surprisingly good, since I'm not really a fan and stuff. I also thought Lil Wayne's song was... mildy good, and I absolutely HATE rap muzak. I also thought the Encore part right before the Album of the Year was pretty good. Sure, the only person I recognized was Rick Wright, but I still liked it. When Robert Plant and Allison sauerkraut were playing, they were halfway through the song before I realized that Robert Plant is from Led Zeppelin. I think. I'll google it later, I don't know. The actual Album of the Year award finally came. I was dead set on it being Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. BAM. It's that Robert Plant album. WOOOOOOOOAHHHHHHHHH. It might have been good, but Viva la Vida was a very good album. And that guy from Green Day... His hair.... HIS HAIR.....
Oh, and Track started. Distance FTW.
Oh, and I'm being forced to participate in the District Science Fair. Woopee.
Oh, and I'm getting Call o' Duty World at War soon.

So, Mirror's Edge is absolutely AMAZING. I love it. I beat it quite a while ago, replayed story mode again, then again on hard, then again for the Test of Faith trophy. It's that addicting. While the plot is kinda....Meh, the game makes up for it with the gameplay. I also like the theme song 'Still Alive', not to be confused with the Portal song. I like both actually. Buuut whatever.
I downloaded the patch with the extra achievements and stuff. After this, I immediately went into the Playstation Store and downloaded Synesthasia. It is an AWESOME map. No cops, no buildings, no iffy puzzles, just a bunch of colored squares floating in blue with some bass for music. It's also fairly hard. I managed a 1 star after about 20 tries
. Realizing how absolutely awful I was at this map, I went to the All-Time Best Times list and downloaded the ghost for the Rank 100 time, which was around 52:66 (3 star time is 53:00). After about 30 minutes, I FINALLY got through the level along with the ghost and no mistakes. However, when I checked my time, it said I had beat the ghost by 2 seconds. WOAH. WOAH. WOAH. Was not expecting that. Now, because I am brain dead and cannot think of anything better to say, I'm out.

So.
Hey.
What's up?
Didn't think so.
Formalities aside, I'm PLLAAAANNING on getting Call o' Duty 4 in a week or so. If you are for some reason unable to look at my PSN ID waaay down there on my profile it's Bush42 (ORIGINAL AMIRITE?).
In other news, I joined a Star Faux union. Just look at my union list to find it.
Finally, I have a soccer game Thursday. Uninteresting, rite? WEELLLLLL, it's going to be in 17 degree weather.
Yes, 17. One Seven. Blah
See ya

So. It's the day after Boxing Day which is the day after X-Mas. Just thought I'd drop by to mention how great it was. I woke up at 5 after going to sleep at 1 (Shaun of the Dead was on), opened my 3 presents, then hopped in the car to drive up to my Grandparents' house. There I got some more cool loot and a bunch of candy, then watched my family fail miserably at playing poker. NOW I'm finally home and making this blog. A list of my swag:
A new bag to carry all my soccer and basketball junk.
That 80 gig PS3 that comes with Metal Gear Solid 4.
A wireless PS3/PC controller.
Candy.
2 books, something about dragons that I forgot the title of and a rather bloody book called The Warrior Heir.
Kirby Super Star Ultra. I unlocked The True Arena yesterday. The farthest I've got on it is Wham Bam Jewel. HARD. Also, suplex is epic win and fighter got nerfed too much.
A camera. Now I can take pictures! Hooray!
A SD card for my camera.
A carrying case for my camera.
An ornament.
The titanium edition Rubik's Revolution.
40 bux, which, combined with a 5 dollar bill I'm going to find later and a 15 dolluh Gamestop gift card, will allow me to buy Mirror's Edge.
Modest Mouse's The Moon and Antarctica, which I think is pretty awesome. That's about it. Hope you all had a merry Xmas filled with lots o' loot.

So hey guys, it's December 13. Which is my birthday, hooray! I thought I was getting older, but according to my cake, I'm 1.

I'm seeing a movie later with a few friends, and last night a few of my OTHER friends were acting crazy and wouldn't stop calling me for some reason.
Anyway...

So hey, I'm back from Gatlinburg.
Not that you knew I was there.
Because I didn't tell you.
You are not worthy of such valuable information.
SO I got some books. Lord Loss, some ghost story book and TIM: Defender of the Earth. It's like CAPTAIN PLAAAAANET except with a giant T-Rex instead of a blue guy trying to stop pollution.
I'm also planning on acquiring PSWii status later, since my birthday is in like 14 days.
That's it.

Hi there.
Just an update on random stuff.
Soccer-
Varsity lost our 2nd game (against Lamar) 7-0 and JV lost 2-0.
Varsity lost the 3rd game (against Washington, the best team in the state) 3-1 and JV lost 1-0. This is because we only played for about 20 minutes and the game was called almost the moment the other team scored.Oblivion-
I can't play Oblivion because of soccer and everything else. Blah.Books-
I finished Inkdeath. The ending was a lot better than some of the other books I've read lately, and was a great way to end the Trilogy. I also got Eagle Strike, book 5 in the Alex Rider series.Music-
Modest Mouse is still awesome. Cloud Cult is my band of the week. That's about it.Life-
I'm going to Gatlinburg, Tennessee from today (I think) to next Caturday/Saturday. What fun.~~$$--Sayanara!--$$~~

Hey.
So we had our first soccer game today. We lost 2-3 with a ref that apparently needed some contacts. It was ridiculous. One guy slammed one of our players in the shin and the ref was like "Oh, was he fouled? Sorry, wasn't looking". It was just stupid. I played for about a minute

On the bright side, I became the Grey Fox of the thieves guild on Oblivion.
The next day I killed someone as part of a mission and got kicked out.
BLEHMy comp is still lagging from ALL OF BIOSHOCK'S AWARDS THERE'S JUST SO MANY
