Man, it's Christmas time already! This year just flew. I'll be heading out on Wednesday to the winter wonderland that is my grandma's house. xD

Pretty much everyone's giving me money, so I'm gonna be going on a shopping spree when I get home. Probably at the new Gamestop we just got, that I am really excited about having! Expect full details. And also expect me to be blogging more often.

Since the last couple times I blogged, things have been up and down. I've been looking for a job for a while and haven't found anything yet. I think I might have a problem when Walmart and Mcdonalds won't call me back. xD;

I remember telling you all about my illness. Well, I've been better for a little while now. But it was enough to scare me into some minor diet changes. I still haven't really touched pizza again yet. I'm too scared.

My laptop's still not fixed, but I'm supposed to be getting a new screen as my present from my dad. Which I would be really glad to get because while this problem isn't major, it's ANNOYING.

But, um... yeah. That's about all for now. I'll be back in a few days with my list of swag. Hope you guys have a great Christmas and get lotsa good stuff.

My laptop fell off my bed. I tried to catch it. I missed. The screen's broken inside. I'm pissed.

It's still usable for the moment. I've tried to call the computer store twice and couldn't get through. I can fix it myself, I just need the damn part. I'm not waiting a week for them to do something that I can do in 20 minutes.

...have I been for two months? Honestly I don't even know.

I haven't felt like doing anything for a long while, and it sounds really stupid because going on websites doesn't require hardly any effort. But I just haven't had any energy.

Last month I got sick and was diagnosed with GERD, or acid reflux. Ever since then I've just been a wreck. I'm worried constantly about EVERYTHING you could possibly think of. Diseases, natural disasters, FIRES, you name it, I've worried over it.

I just wanted to make a post to let you guys know that I haven't "beamed up" just yet. I'm still kicking, if you could call it that.

I of course refer to my gamerscore. Assassin's Creed put it over.

The game is amazing. I got it a few days ago and so far I love it. It's been too hot to play it too much though.

The only thing that annoys me is those frigging beggar women in the cities that get in your way and ask you for money. I'm like NO GTFO and push them out of the way, only to have them come back a second later. I accidentally killed one once when I was trying to assassinate a guard, and LOL'D hardcore b/c that made one less to bother me.

So finally, after all the years of putting up with that crap desktop of mine, my dad got me a laptop. He said he was getting me a computer for graduation, I dunno if I ever mentioned that.

Today it got delivered. It's weird, since it was listed as still being in production. But it's cool that it's early, I love it.

It's a Dell, Inspiron 1545, if you were wondering. I already have it all set up with my programs and stuff, with the exception of PS and Sony Vegas. I'll have to get those on here later.

Just thought I'd share my good news.

I'm not even gonna say it this time. If I were you, I'd be done with my crap too.

I don't know where the last month went. I really don't. And I missed my 3 year GS-versary.

My baby's back, and his red eye is gone.

Doesn't he look fabulous without those nasty red lights? xD

All joking aside, it DOES run a lot quieter now. I was amazed. The only thing that kinda bugs me is the noise the tray makes when it closes. Then again, that always bugged me. It's just a bit different of a noise now. It still makes me wince though. When it opens it sounds a lot smoother and quieter than it used to, so that's a plus.

I'm hoping that the fix will stick, and he won't have to go right back out, 'cause I missed him. His scar was the way I could tell it was him, before I looked at the number on the back. One time I dropped him on a hard wood floor. The bottom of the box he was in broke. There's a small gray-ish scratch just above the top air vents. ^^;

But of course the first thing I did (after I re-downloaded all my stuff) is pop in Oblivion. Out of all the games, I missed it the most. Even though I've had it for such a long time.

I think having to send him out was part of the cause of this recent bout of depression I've had. The other part being that I'm intimidated by my impending job search. I haven't felt like doing anything. I've kind of just laid around all day, every day since I shipped him. It was pretty bad. ^^;

The only thing that's kept me sane is watching anime. Which I've realized is kind of a stress reliever for me, and I'll have to remember that when things get tough later on. I just finished an awesome series called Kurosh!tsuji (that ! is an i in the real name... -_-') yesterday. I reccommend it to anyone that likes anime.

But anyways, yeah. I haven't disappeared or anything, I've just been moping around. I think I'm done with that now though. (And yes, I DID just refer to my 360 as him this whole time. )

Here's the final timeline of everything. I think they did a good job of getting it all done quickly.

May 30 - Discovered the RED RING when I tried to turn on my Xbox. Support was doing updates that day, so I had to wait.
May 31 - After a few tries online and a phone call to Support, I submitted a repair request. The box may have been sent the next day, as it was a Sunday.
June 8 - Shipped out the 360.
June 11 - Repair center recieved the console.
June 13 - Got an email saying that the console was shipped back.
June 18 - Recieved the console from UPS and got back to gaming.

I've pretty much finished it. I had a couple of problems, but they didn't take long to fix. Namely that I got my ass kicked by Angeal & Sephiroth, each one time.

I'm on the part where I have to collect the 'Goddess' materia. I can't remember how many there are, but I have 6.

Zack's awesomeness has inspired me to cosplay him. Pre and post scar. The only thing I'll have a problem with is the shoulder armor and leather suspender thingies. The other parts can be gotten fairly easily. xD

And while I'm writing, I just checked on my 360's repair status, and it's at the "Repair in Progress" part. Idk how long that will take, but according to the shipping records it only took 3 days to get there. Which is way faster than I thought.

A PSP.

I went to the mall yesterday and bought it. A 3000 model. It's used, but there are no problems with it. After I cleaned it, it looked good as new.

So far my game collection for it is only two, but they're good ones at least. Crisis Core and Ratchet & Clank. I love 'em.

I got a memory stick not knowing that there was already one in it. But that's a good thing though, now I have extra space for music and stuff. xD

This will be the obligatory e3 emblem complaint blog, really. After I say that I've gone up in level again, that is.

I'm kind of irritated because I watched EVERYTHING and I only have Day 2's emblem. Which, might I add, I watched the least of because my power went out. Same goes for Day 1. I didn't get to watch that much because we had a storm that knocked out the power.

BUT I know I watched at least two hours of each of those before that happened. I watched all the conferences from start to finish, so I don't understand that bit so well either.

Long story short, I am a bit peeved. And this has inspired me to watch the coverage somewhere else last year. The quality of the videos were terrible, they lagged and froze, and now this.

So next year I'll be watching it on gametrailers if I don't have G4. (Which I'm still pissed about losing... damn cheap cable company bastards. )

I'll be sending out my 360, the box is here. I was visiting relatives and I told my dad to wait and let me pack it. I just wanted to be sure it's done right.

Keep in mind that these are my personal opinions, having watched all of the conferences now. You can feel free to disagree with me, as long as you do it intelligently and not like a fanboy.

General Impressions

Full of most WIN - Microsoft & Sony (They were both really great. Microsoft set the bar high going first, and Sony matched them pretty well. Except the motion controller. It's epic fail, IMO.)

Full of most FAIL - Ubisoft (I almost went to sleep like 4 times. The guy talked about Avatar for a half hour at least!)

Most disappointing - Nintendo (I expected more from them, even IF I dislike the direction they're going. The only good thing was KH, IMO. It got better at the end, I suppose.)

OMG Moments

Microsoft OMG moment - Milo/Project Natal (Milo's creepy but cool at the same time!)

Nintendo OMG moment - Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (a trailer with English voices!! ...yes, I'm a fangirl and I know it.)

Sony OMG moment - Final Fantasy XIV (I seriously said 'WTF, 14?' and then lol'd because they were so proud of it being exclusive, but it's going to be online, and probably crap like 11. xD)

Ubisoft OMG moment - Assassin's Creed 2 (after a two hour snooze-fest, this was awesome.)

EA OMG moment - Star Wars: The Old Republic (fk'in awesome trailer.)

Well, after about three tries and a weird phone call, my repair request has been submitted and I'll get the cardboard coffin in about four days.

I redid my repair request a bunch of times and it always said it was unable to complete it. I didn't know what that meant, so I tried looking around for someone with a similar problem. This time Google didn't come through for me. But on the bottom of the page was the support phone number, which it instructed me to call since my online request wasn't going through.

I was apprehensive about calling, because I knew I was gonna get someone that I couldn't understand what the hell they were saying. But the woman I got spoke fairly good english. I only had to ask her to repeat herself like three times. Which isn't bad, as I've read horror stories about calling support.

So now that that's done, I've gotta figure out what to pack this thing up with. I don't really have anything... I'm thinking newspaper and stuff would probably work. Whatever I end up doing, I'll probably go overboard with. The thing's a piece of crap right now but it's still my baby and it's been good to me other than this. xD

I'm pretty much positive that it won't be this one that I get back, which makes me kinda sad. I've had it a while and I don't really want to send it out, but if I don't it won't get fixed. It probably won't get fixed anyway and they'll just give me a different one. But I'm not really sure.

I do have somewhat of a question though... I'm confused. If they DON'T send me back this console, will I have to transfer my content licenses? I don't understand how that works.

Of all the things to be worrying about on Graduation day. But all I really have to do there is walk across the stage and not fall. Shouldn't be too hard, but then again, it is ME.

Well, so much for my theory. I'm so pissed off right now I can't even see straight.

My 360 has taken a massive dump. In the middle of the night, no less. I thought at first that ALL the lights were red, like once before (which I knew how to fix), but no. Only 3. And we all know what that means, don't we.

So I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm afraid to send it out, for fear they'll send me back another broken one and I'll have to do it again. Plus the fact that I'd have to wait so long to get it back. I know the one I'd get probably wouldn't be MINE, but still.

But then, I don't really have the money to get a new console right now. I'm thinking about going back up to the market and seeing how much that one is that the guy had. We went and bought a new A/V cable there because I thought that was the problem. It wasn't.

So now I'm gonna sit here and sulk until I figure out what to do. Help would be good. I'd like to hear about people's experience with sending their consoles in, since that's my most likely option.

Poor thing... it'll probably be getting a cardboard coffin soon. While I'm on the subject of that, does anyone know if it'll cost me to get it fixed? I know they issued a 3 year warranty for everyone, but I think mine might be too old for it now... and if it'll cost me I can't send it.

I went shopping again. Today I got a Light plushie and Mirror's Edge. The plushie makes me lol because of how disproportioned his head is. It's kind of oval shaped. I would suppose he's supposed to be a chibi. And I've never seen that outfit before, but that's okay.

And yes, I'm sure it's Light. He has a little Death Note in his hand. And an apple.

I have two more days of school. Finals. After that I'm completely free and should be posting. As of right now I still haven't really looked for a job. So that means you guys will see me more often than not.

Sometimes I really wish I didn't tear through games so quickly. I'm about 3/4 done with Naruto, and I think I'm pretty far along in Fable too. Not sure how much of TWEWY I have left.

I'm on the 2nd or 3rd day with Joshua. He makes me lol with all the innuendos. Yaoi fangirl's dream right there. xD

I wanted to get more, but I was limited to $100 and they didn't have most of the games I wanted today. So when I get my money from my other relatives I'll go back and see what else I can get.

But I'm pretty happy with what I have. I played TWEWY all the way home, and I think I'm getting ready to pop in Fable. I have to get on XBL anyway to put in the code from this 3 month card I also got today.

I just wanted to update you all on what I'm up to.

There's exactly 14 days left until my birthday. Or two weeks for you who suck at math.

And I believe there's also 14 school days left for me. Then I'll be pushed out into the 'cruel world'. I'll FAIL at being self-sufficient, I just know it. At least at first. xD

Most of you know of my plan to save money and move to the west coast. I'll have to start looking for a job soon so I can keep my schedule for that. ^^;

To those of you that have been worried about me, waiting on me to do stuff, or have just been plain pissed off at me or sick of my excuses, I apologize.

I have been having a lot of personal problems lately, which I didn't want to drag any of you into. So I chose to stay away for fear that I would do something I would regret.

I may speak of these of these things in detail at a later date, but for right now I don't think I will. I'm thinking at the moment that my stay will be a lot more permanent than the last two times I 'came back'.

Again, I'm sorry. And I hope that none of you are TOO mad at me.

I tried to download a demo off XBL and it told me that I don't have permission.

It's an M rated game. I AM 17 YEARS OLD, AND ABOUT TO TURN 18, AND I CAN'T DOWNLOAD AN M RATED DEMO?!

It's never done this to me before... I downloaded every single damn thing for Oblivion and it never said a thing! I'm not sure if those were rated, but if they were, that's not right...

It was probably done by that update that it downloaded when I connected...
