Me @ The Dog Island - Introduction
As you can see in my 'Now Playing' list, I have purchased The Dog Island for the Wii.
*waits for possible jokes and mockery to cease*
Now hold on, it's not what you think. This 'kiddy' game has earned decent reviews and has been enjoyed by many players, wether they want to admit it or not. I have lacked something in gaming; perhaps an epic adventure, perhaps a really addictive game that is not Brawl or Guitar Hero. The Dog Island seems like the right game for me; I love dogs, I actually like sad stories, and I need to play something different, something not-hardcore and non-casual; something 'slow', if you will.
I've been very busy, but I finally got the game in the mail today and played for about an hour. So far so good; the story has kicked in; basically you're a dog with a sick brother or sister that needs help from a doctor that lives far away, in The Dog Island. I'm on my way there; I picked a Siberian Husky, because they look a lot like my favorite animal, the wolf. The game's controls are intuitive, and the soundtrack is quite good; the graphics are crude, but that's fine, as long as the dogs are all cute-looking
My only gripe so far is the camera; it's a bit clunky most of the time, at least so far.Every now and then I'll continue to blog about The Dog Island, just to spread the word on a game that many might overlook; it could turn out to be quite enjoyable

My first earthquake experience
Did you hear (or feel)? There was a 5.4 earthquake in Southern California this morning, about half an hour from my home.
It was the first time I experienced an earthquake; we didn't have those back in Chihuahua, Mexico
It wasn't that bad; I was expecting more 'chaos', although I'm sure bigger earthquakes are horrible. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wasn't as 'shaken' as the rest of my family
Anyone else felt it? Lots of quakes where you live?

A gift becomes...a gift :)
I'm really happy right now

Over three years ago, I stumbled upon a website that had music from a great DS rhythm game; Daigasso! Band Brothers / Jam with the Band. The music was great; it was the original Japanese songs from the covers in the game! I loved them. But that dreadful day when my computer died, I lost them

I had forgotten something, though; I had burned some of the songs to a CD for a small gift to a friend. Well, today he put the CD while we were driving, and I couldn't believe it; finally, those songs, again in my possession! Sweet! It's funny how a gift of mine sort of became a gift from my friend to me
Even though I only got about half of the songs from the game, it's still awesome, since I had given up all hope on getting them again. If any fellow Daigasso! fan is interested in getting these songs, or if you have the rest of them, feel free to PM me for more info.

Phoenix Wright - Turnabout Pizza
A preview of a Phoenix Wright video I'm making for animation class. It'll take a while, but it looks decent enough; it should be finished in one week's time.

Goodbye GameCube
I sold my GameCube in anticipation to the Wii. The night before I shipped it, I took this video. I'll miss the little purple guy.
