  My Gaming World History

  Since there's nothing i can do and Buft challenge anyone who read his Game Journey blog to make the same blog about it, i accept the challenge

  My gaming world start with the Nintendo Entertainment System. My father bought it when i was around 5. I didn't understand video game at that time so i only watch my brother play Mario Bros. on it (and he's very good on it). I'm start to play a little when i reach elementary school. Mario Bros, 1942, Road Rage, Pac-Man. I'm suck on everything

  

  My Gaming World stay in hiatus for a long time until My father decided to bought me and my brother the Sony Playstation when i'm about 12. It's really the true start of my gaming world. From the uninteresting 2D NES to advance 3d gaming Sony Playstation, i realized that video game is awesome! Racing genre is my first favorite genre. Toca 2, Ridge Racer 4, Need For Speed: High Stakes, Rollcage, Gran Turismo 2, and Crash Team Racing are my favorites on Playstation. But the best game on Playstation for me is Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

  

  Done with the Playstation, my father challenged me to get a good rate on school in order to get me the Sony Playstation 2. I beat him and i got my Sony Playstation 2 when i was around 14. It's awesome!!! This black box is the true entertainment system. I'm continue my interest on racing genre on PS2. Gran turismo 3 A-spec, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, NFS: Underground, NFS: Underground 2, NFS: Most Wanted, and NFS: Carbon are my favorite racing game on PS2. Not just racing genre. I'm expanding my interest to action/adventure genre. Prince of Persia series, Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and Devil May Cry 3 are some examples.

  

  When i'm on college, my friend introduce me to PC gaming. My first FPS is Call of Duty (this is why i'm a CoD fanboy), and thank's to CoD, FPS become the best genre for me. I don't have a good PC (just a standard Toshiba Satelite TabletPC) so i don't buy advance FPS. I play old title like Medal of Honor: Allied Assaut and Command & Conquer: Renegade. I try to play FPS on console. Black is my first FPS on console. It's so hard to aim with right analog but i keep learning. Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, Call of Duty 3, Urban Chaos: Riot Response, Medal of Honor European Assault, Medal of Honor: Vanguard and Killzone are some of my FPS on PS2. Too bad my PS2 broke. It start to be picky. It can't play newer game.

  2007, on my birthday, My parents bought me the Microsoft XBOX 360. Taking me to the next-gen video gaming. I'm thrilled with the outstanding visual and the awesome controller. I'm continue buying FPS, 3rd person shooter, and racing game. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Bioshock 1, Bioshock 2, The Darkness, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 & 2, F.E.A.R., F.E.A.R. 2, Medal of Honor: Airborne, Battlefield: Bad Company, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Halo 3, and halo 3: ODST are some of the greatest FPS for me.

  On this console, for the first time i play Grand theft Auto, the GTA IV, and for the first time too, i play action RPG with Mass Effect 2 and Fallout 3 and, i get to know survivor horror genre with Dead Space. But of course, the greatness of this console is just as great as its failure engineering. RRoD hit it and at last the famous E74 error kill it. No Microsoft service center here in Indonesia so no waranty, no trade-in, nothing. But i still love this console so i bought the 2009 Jasper GPU powered Micosoft XBOX 360 Arcade. It still working quite well until now, and i wish forever

  

  So, that's my gaming history. I missed so many great title i know it. Never play FFVII, Call of Duty 2, 007: Goldeneye, Doom, Castlevania, Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill, or Zelda: the Ocarina of Time but i still have a lot of fun! And i still saving for my plan to get the Sony Playstation 3 next year, wish me luck

  B-Company vs Task Force 141

  It's Battlefield: Bad Company 2. A great game from EA DICE.

  

  My 5th game this year, superb graphics, cool story, simpler control, and more linear campaign. Everything that make Call of Duty the best FPS ever is on this game! Great FPS! Although it's not as funny as the first Bad Company, it still a very great game. Can't wait for the 3rd

  But, this game made me thinking, what Modern Warfare gonna do against Bad Company? Since Infinity Ward no longer making the game, i'm not sure the new studio can make Modern Warfare as good as Infinity Ward. I'm affraid, only hype can save Modern Warfare 3 from Bad Company 3.

  Not just Modern Warfare vs Bad Company, EA and Activision will fighting on historic FPS too with Medal of Honor and Call of Duty 7 (both working title). Although it will never as big as MW vs BC, i'm sure both will fight their best. I have a high hope for both games.

  Bioshock 2 and a wish for a great new year!

  Third blog for this year, and my first Blog in the new Tiger Year! I had a very great celebration with all my family yesterday. The food, the fun, the atmosphere, Chinese New Year is always the greatest day for me. Too bad, Indonesian government didn't extend the holiday

  On last Friday, i'm finally get Bioshock 2 and there's nothing i can say but "awesome!"

  

  i only on my first 4 hrs but i know that 2K Marin did a very good job bringing all the greatness of the first game and add even more enjoyable things to the new game. I like it very much! it's a 9.5/10 for me so far.

  I'm still reading Black Lagoon and i'm currently trying to get the anime.

  Last, i'm currently addicted with Dream Theater's Surrounded and Rie Fu's Tsuki Akari.
