UPDATE: MY REVIEW IS NOW UP After reading a bunch of mixed opinions on Need For Speed Shift I decided to try out the new NFS for myself. After all, I'm a fan of the series and enjoy a good high-speed race. I've tended to steer clear of the recent NFS titles mainly because I believe they have strayed too far from what makes NFS great. Sure they had some interesting features, but where they always fell flat on their ass was the quality of the driving experience.
