  six weeks off

  i have six weeks off of school. i'm not going back until january 2oth. it''s so awesome but i have to make the most off it. so i'm going to make a list of stuff i have to do.

  1. put all my serpent seed notes onto my computer, organize them, and start the story already.

  2. finish pokemon platinum. i only need to catch corsola (swarms) and evolve pupitar. the i can't cath anymore in the game than that. i have darkrai and deoxys in diamond. i have never caught a celebii but i plan on getting soul silver when it comes out.

  3. finish pokemon leafgreen. i really only playing so i can get a squirtle, omanyte, and slowking for pokemon platinum. also emerald since i will trade them there to use the clone trick.

  4. finish pokemon colloseum. i'm doing mt battle to get ho-oh. i'm on trainer 60 and have over 50 continues.

  5. complete castlevania judgment.

  6. watch a bunch of movies i haven't gotten around too.

  7. finish reading 1984. i'm almost to page 200 (about 300 pages) and no one spoiler it for me.

  i think i have some other things but this is pretty much it. i'm waiting for my loan check to come. i got a letter saying it was distributed on the 8th. i'm hoping it's in check form and not online cause that would suck.it should be over $1500.00. or possibly over $500 in case it's already payed for my next semester.

  i want to get a new console.

  sometime around christmas i'm going to get a ds lite. around march i'd like to get another system, but i'm trying to figure out which one. it's either going to be a dsi, ps3, psps, or 360. here's what i'm thinking about each:

  dsi: it lets you download stuff to it like the new shantae game. othe rthan that it's just another ds which i have a regualr and going to get a ds lite. i'll wait for a price cut or see how the next ds version or succosor looks.

  psp: the only game i really want are tales of vs. i really like the tale of series and love when a series makes a fighting game. i heard about a final fantasy fighting game i might be interested in. but i think tales of vs has only been released in japan.

  ps3: i would like a ps3 to take the place of my ps2 but i don't know if that's possible. i want one that can play ps2 gamesbut i think i would need to receive updates to do so and i don't have a good internet connection for it. i still use dial up and if i make a wireless connection, i need my wii and ds to be able to connect too. i do have a few ethernet cables i got from school but i'd have to connect about 2 or 3 of them together to reach the computer. so wireless may be my only option but i need to find out how to make one. i want ti to be able to work well with my ps2 controllers, memory cards, and games. the ps3 games i'm interested in are devil may cry 4, ninja gaiden sigma, ninja gaiden sigma 2, and soul calbiur 4. so there is some interest in this being a stand alone console seperate from ps2.

  360: i was interestd in getting a xbox, the original, since it's about $50. but now i'm wondering if i should get a 360. the same games i want on ps3 are on 360 as well as tales of veperia. however, ninja giden only has rachel playable on ps3. the box art for soul calibur 3 is better on ps3. one upside could be if 360 played games from xbox.however there are those red rings of death and other stuff that kills the system.

  i have until around march to make my choice. currently no one is leading. tell me what you think.
