    Elebits: The Silent Killer

OK, I know this is a long post, but I think it is very important that you read it. Something very major has happend.

    Today
was one of the scariest days of my life. Who: My Dad, Clayton, Sam,
Ashkon, Ravi, myself and Matt most importantly. Where: My house, living
room, in front of Wii. When: 12:30-ish. What: This is were it gets
scary. At about 12:30, Matt, Ravi and I were in the living room playing
Elebits on the Wii, Ashkon, Ravi and Clayton are in my room just about to play Rainbow Six Vegas
on the 360, and my dad is in the office doing something for my mom who
is in LA. Suddenly, Matt yells "OW!" and promptly falls to the ground.
Now, I have seen people hit things and fall as they were playing the
Wii, and I just thought that was what happend. Then I see that Matt
isnt getting up. I say, "Hey Matt. You ok?", still nothing. I then
realize something is wrong. I go down to get a better look at Matt and
then I see Matt is on the ground convulsing. I scream "Help! Call
911!". Now everyone else has run into the room. My dad is trying to
figure out what to do, and everyone else is trying to find out whats
wrong. As we are trying to find out what to do, I see someone on the
other side of the door. I run to open it because any help is needed.
And, either by chance or miracle, its Matt's dad. He's confused by how
we are all running around. I yell at him, "Help! Something is wrong
with Matt!". He runs up to Matt, but becomes frozen as he kneels next
to his convulsing son (But who can blame him, I was nearly frozen too).
Now Im running around trying to find a phone to call 911, when I see my
brothers cell phone on the chair. Yes, I do know that call 911 on a
cell phone is not a good idea, but I didnt know where a phone was and I
didnt want to waste precious time running around the house looking for
a phone. So I pick it up, call 911, then I have to go through the
needlessly long process of getting to the actual Pleasanton 911. While
we are waiting for the ambulance to arrive, we put Matt on his side and
try to get him to open his mouth to make sure he can breath. It doesnt
work because Matt's mouth is shut tight. My dad then starts to deeply
massage his back to try and relax him and get his lungs moving. It
seemed to work though because Matt quickly opend his eyes but still
couldnt talk. It takes about 5 minutes after I call for the police and
firefighters to get to the scene, and another 3 minutes for the
ambulance to come, but by that time Matt is already conscious and
trying to find out what happend. They sit him up and, after he can talk
again, ask him questions (Whats your name? Where are you?, etc.). So
they take Matt off in a stretcher, and everyone's parents come and take
    them home.

Now, you might be wondering why Im posting this now
if it happend at 12 o' clock. The reason is that I wanted to find out
what the doctors say happend and also to see if Matt would be alright.
Luckily, about 1 hour ago, I got a call from Matt's dad saying that
Matt will be ok and that he will even be leaving the hospital today. He
came by about 30 minutes ago and I even got to talk to him and he
seemed to be back to his normal self. They said that the doctors took
some tests, but everything came back negative. Im just glad that he is
fine and that he is even well enought to go back to school on Tuesday.
I believe that a combination of bad sleep (he sat on my computer chair
with his elbow on the desk and his hand under his chin) and bad eating
(Cheetos, Doritios, cookies, and a lack of breakfast couldnt have
helped) made his body seize after the large amount of flashes in Elebits.
But this experience has taught me, and I hope everyone else who was
there and maybe even some of you that read this, that: A) I will never
do an all-nighter again, B) I will only play for 2 hours, after which I
will play a boardgame with my friends or do something else, and C) I
need to buy some board games. Later.....
