11 months down the line, 1,500 hours later I've managed to quit WoW. Goodbye!
Yes, thats correct. Since January I have clocked over 1,500 hours online. Not calculating but I used to play since I got home to about 1 or 2 in the morning. So I've managed to quit and found myself much better off but reminds me of what it must be like for people giving up smoking, which I find incredibly scary. I did it yesterday after getting home, logged on, sent mail saying my un-announced goodbyes to everyone and sending all my money to my closest mate. Mind, I did manage to obtain some reasonably well leveled people (63 Draenei Pally, 53 Draenei Priest and 48 Blood Elf mage) which admittedly is a bit too much for me. I've met some extremely nice people there and was a shame to see them pass, however I do know it was for the better good.
Wow effectively put a hold on my console gaming, with my only game since January being Halo 3. Shocked the hell out of me thinking about it since I know I used to get a new one every 2-3 months. Sad but true. I've decided to finally get on with my life. Get some exam grades, take up sport and get out and see the world. So I'll say my final goodbyes to everyone on Gamespot. I know contact has been tiny for the last few months (11 to be exact) but thats it. Better things in life to enjoy, not just a bunch of polygons on a screen. I wish everyone here all the best. This will be the last time I logout, and will probably never log in again. Goodbye
Saugh.
