When I Talk

  • 22Feb 08
I just wanted to know if anybody else, like me, really loved (or at least really appreciated) the PSOne game, The Legend of Dragoon. It was an RPG made by Sony when they were first starting and i thought they did an amazing job. There were indeed some tweaks that needed to be fixed, but that could have done easily with a sequel. And when i become a game designer (at least i hope to be) my first goal is to make a remake or a sequel. I think the game was underappreciated, do you?

Is it just me or, other than Oblivion, rpg's have gone to crap lately, or at least the last couple of months. i've been keepin' up to date with all the new releases for rpg's and it seems that all the reviews i look at are 7.5 or lower. i keep putting my hopes on a game to be the next final fantasy or oblivion, but none so far. i now rest my hopes on lost odyssey, for 360. as well as fallout 3, so i'm prayin' these two games will save the genre. = ]

Final Fantasy XII is coming on Halloween and I can't wait for it to come out.  If you know me then you know I am an RPG fan and especially love Final Fantasy.  I've got this game pre-ordered and I suggest you do too.

I've been watching E3 all week on G4 and I am blown away! This is my first time being able to watch E3 and I just cant stop smiling.

The games that have stood out for me this year are; Final Fantasy XIII, Gears of War, God of War 2, Halo 3, Warhawk, Dawn of Mana and some others that i'm sure I forgot.

Only one day left but I really hope they saved some of the best for last. E3 baby, you just gotta love it!

I have no idea why I come back every so often to this site, I also have no idea why I write a "blog" every so often.  I usually go to magicthegathering.com to try and see if I can find a sweet card for my decks or something like that.  Other than that I have no reason to even use the internet.  Besides, I know i'm just talking to myself right now and that no one will read this post, but i dont care.  Later.

I probably won't be on here for a long time, again because in truth I actually don't have the Internet. The only time I can get on is if I'm at my sister's house, which is now. It might be another 2 weeks(again) until I come back so don't get upset if I don't respond or you don't read this entry. Bye, for now.

    ***POSSIBLE SPOILERS!***

I finally finished reading the 6th installment of the Harry Potter series and I ended up being excited and sad at the same time. It's cool that the final showdown with Voldemort is finally going to commence in the 7th year, but how in hell is Harry going to stop Voldemort all on his own? I think Ron and Hermione might tag along but I'm doubting it. Voldemort will have easily found out about Dumbledore's death by now so it's only a matter of time before the whole world is thrown into chaos. Too bad Harry and Ginny can't stay together, or at least not until he has killed Lord Voldemort. Let the final showdown begin!

P.S J.K. better not take another two years to do the next one, but I still hope she makes it long and interesting, so it may end up taking her another 2 and a half years, damn! At least I've got the fourth movie to look forward to.

I finally made it to level 5. One more level and I will finally get to post a review of a game that I have been waiting to fully review since I started Gamespot, Final Fantasy X. I now that I could put my reviews into my journal but nobody ever reads my journal inputs, or at least no one comments on them.

Gamespot doesn't give this game enough credit. But, I would only give this game a 6.5 because 1. Moving your character around the world sucks. 2. The graphics, during cutscenes, stay the same all the way through. 3. The most annoying thing of all is the stupid music! It just keeps doing the same two songs, one for in battle and one for the boring movement. I literally had to take some aspirin just to get rid of my headache and then I started playing Final Fantasy X, and now, here I am talking most likely to myself and the few people who are going to read this. Overall, if you are thinking about getting Unlimited SaGa jjust make sure that you get it cheap, because it's not half bad(just a little better than that).

I just looked at all of the images currently posted for Advent Children and I am completely blown away! Cloud, Tifa, Aeris, Barret, and Sephiroth all look amazing although Sephiroth looks a little weird without any hair until the fire scene. I cannot wait until the movie comes out in September. I wonder what Red XIII looks like.

I believe that the Final Fantasy series has the best RPG games ever created. I think that Final Fantasy should be a genre in itself. FFVII and FFX are definitely the best in the series, at least in my opinion, but FFIX is also very good. Final Fantasy X is definitely my favorite and probably will be for a long time. FFXII looks awesome as well so, we'll see. FFX's new Sphere Grid system, I think, is the best thing to ever happen to the FF series because this allows you to make any character really buff or a white mage have black mage abilities, white mages that can dish out 9999, etc. The new CTB system is also a great installment, new graphics that can blow anybody away for another 5 years, and an amazing musical composition with the likes I haven't heard since FFVII. I love Final Fantasy X. One more thing, FFVII's storyline is amazingly well done as well.

P.S. Look for FFVII: Advent Children September 13, 2005!
