  Run&Gun?

  Seriously, after some many technology advances, with squad tatics, friendly AI control, artillery support etc...I still really dont get it why people prefer the classical run and gun style. Simple way makes it fun? Get a weapon, shoot, your teamates respawn, end of the game. I mean it's so stupid to play this way. I always like squad tatics, you can flank you enemies, you can have 100 possibilities. One of the most annoying thing is that run and gun games tend to be so simple that noobs can enjoy. And as far as I know the noob population is a lot more than professionals and ordrinary gamers. Such games like COD is hard to believe it could get such a high score with no tatics, no differences, full of recycling old stuff and straight foward and same ways. I really can't understand why people like things always the same. I get bored doing the same thing after 100 times, that's why i like squads, you can tell them to attack, flank or what ever. What ever turns up in the end, maybe losing a man and you have to change stragies, that makes things fun.
