Ah, my last day of swimming is tomorrow. I'm not as sad as I thought I would be. Maybe I'll be more emotional at the banquet, when the realization sets in--I'm really leaving. In the present, it doesn't really seem like a reality. With that said, tomorrow's the big competition, in which I don't know how I'll do, but I am hoping for the best. Additionally, no school tomorrow, so that's a nice break. I wish I could think of something witty to put in here, but my brain in a pile of mashed potatoes right now, so I'll end this entry

A new year, new semester, and new classes. I've been unusually busy, haven't had a lot of time or motivation to watch tv, and find myself catching a lot of my favorite shows online. School's been going well, I finished my finals before break, did nothing over break, and just relaxed and listened to music. What could be better? Among that, I'm still trying to decide on a college to attend. I've got the list narrowed down to about seven or eight. I'm finding myself to be hungry and bored right now. Ah, what would the world be without spontaneity?

...I just realized that title is from a HSM song, right? XD Anyway, I took the ACT for the last time today. Don't know how I did, but I feel more confident than the last time about how well I did. I'll find out in a few weeks. Been super busy with college applications, school, and life, but I still manage to get my weekly dose of House and the occasional Code Geass episode when I have time. I would have liked to see Pushing Daisies this season, but I just don't have the time or motivation to set my VCR. Bad, huh? Swim season is starting soon, I'm excited. It's my stress reliever ^_^

I got to thinking: I can't keep procrastinating any longer. I need to start looking at colleges and figuring out what scholarships to apply for. Hmm. I'll do it tomorrow. Maybe.

I've started watching Psych, it's a funny show. Shawn has some of the most hilarious nicknames for Gus.

Not much going on, just work and relaxation! Hooray, laziness!

I've been feeling a bit gloomy lately. My ACT score went a point down the second time I took it, and while waiting for the upcoming AP score, I though I'd be lucky even to get a 3. I really hadn't studied as much as I should have for the physics exam, in fact, we went over the material so seemingly quickly that I don't remember half of it. What a shame. Perhaps I remember more than I think I do. Anyway, I scored a lot better than I thought I would (though I'm not posting my score on here! ). I've started my new job and am enjoying it. Coincidentally, this week is employee appreciation week, so all my purchases get a 50% discount instead of the usual 30%. Wow, I started at the right time. I guess I'd better stock up on stuff that I'll need to buy for the next year. That's what one of my co-workers did

Oh, and I'm loving watching Avatar every night. Each episode gets better and better!

This weekend, to pass time, I decided to rewatch the DVD cast commentary of Holes. It was really funny, IMO. Some of the random stuff they did, like rap out of nowhere, or comment on the other people, just made me chuckle. I can't believe it's been 5-6 years since that movie was made. Wow! All those kids are grown up now. Ah, Holes was such a great movie.

I met some new people last week at a summer program at Miami College. It was a lot of fun.

I also got a new job. Hooray!

That's all I have to say.

In these long summer months, I am without endless piles of school work and long days of lectures. This is a nice break, but I haven't had much to fill the time. I've been spending more time with family, which is nice, but I would like to get a job this summer that I can keep after school starts so I can afford to pay for gas. Oy. I'm trying to take up piano again; I guess we'll see how that goes. Diligence!

I wish Amber hadn't died on House, but I can understand why she did. She was a guest star, and I figured they would have taken her off the show sooner or later. Still, why did they have to kill her off. Why couldn't they have just relocated her or something? I guess it makes the show more dramatic. It was interesting seeing House feel guilty for once. All the other times he's caused Wilson harm, he's never shown any remorse (even if he may have felt it), and this time, we see him cry. Poor House. At least he more-than-redeems himself by risking his life to save Amber. The white bus scene was cool. It was nice we got to see Amber interact with House one last time. The acting was wonderful, especially RSL (Wilson). Hugh was great, too.

Although the fourth season of House wasn't my favorite, and the strike definitely slowed it down, I'm still excited for the fifth season. I wonder how 13 will react to her diagnosis of Huntingtons? Hopefully the plots will give more room for character development of the new ducklings. It has a little in "Wilson's Heart." Maybe we'll get to see more of the old team in the next season. Maybe they'll get to do something. I'm disappointed that there was hardly any clinic scenes this season. Among the "games" saga and the Wamber drama, we saw very few clinic patients. Hope they bring them back!

Woah! This episode of House was actually up to par with the awesome-ness of the show! Very pivitol, I must say, but I can't help but feel they've done this storyline before. House getting physicially injured and weak and having memory problems and hallucinations sounds a lot like No Reason, the finale for the second season. Oh well, at least they focused on an actual medical mystery instead of a Wamber subplot this week. (Though I guess they couldn't really do this since Amber was the hidden identity) I'm still waiting for those moments where the new team interacts within itself, but I guess that will be coming next season. The way this storyline is going, it seems it will focus much on House, Wilson, and Amber, who, I hope, stays on the show. Though she's cutthroat, she's interesting! Much more so than Thirteen and Taub, who have been somewhat bland so far. Kutner's funny; I wish he had more lines.

Yay for Chase having a relevant role in this episode! He actually had a bigger role than Foreman . . .

They did a nice job of not making the "dying person's" identity obvious until the very end. The necklace thing made it a giveaway, and it was slightly drawn out, but that's ok. Speaking of which, my Physics teacher has the exact same necklace. That's funny.

I can't wait until next week's episode and I hope it will be even better than this one. I'm really excited, but somewhat sad. It's the end of the season! Waah.

Well, House is finally back on! While I enjoyed watching the show once again, I must say I wish there had been some more interaction between the new team rather than House and Amber. We really don't know much about the new team and it would be nice to learn more about them so we can actually base our opinions of them on something in the show. However, we haven't seen too much of them (or the POTW for that matter). Maybe next week's episode will be a bit better.

School is almost out. I don't know whether I'm looking forward to it or not. I won't have homework, but I'll need to get a job to pay for gas I'll need next year (and this year). Our school's levy didn't pass, and I think they are going to eliminate bussing for high school students. Which means I'll have to drive every day. What a drag.

    Have a great day!

Finally, the weather is beginning to warm up and with that comes the rain. Too bad the rain doesn't come in those summer months, when we need it the most. I'd almost say I want school to be out, but then I'll have to find a job. What to do. . .

Finally made a new banner, I'm happy with it. I wish I could have saved it in a different format so the quality would be better, but it's not too bad. My spring break begins tomorrow. It won't be for too long (Friday through Tuesday) but I guess it's better than last year. Actually, it may be the same. I don't remember. Have a nice day.

I'm happy the writers' strike finally resolved. Bad news is that there's no new House until Apr. 28, and it moves to Monday night! Argh! Tuesday has always been House night! For now, I'll have to survive by watching my DVDs, and possibly a few reality shows. I've actually gotten into The Biggest Loser this season.

Wind is caused by the uneven heating of the Earth. Or so I've been told by a science book, if my facts are correct. The Earth must have been extremely uneven in its heating today, for it was blowing so hard that my car was shaking as I was driving it. Yes, this is a useless topic, but I don't know what else to write and it's not like anyone reads this anyway. I felt like putting in a blog entry. And a smiley face. Have a great day, or bonne journee, as the French would say.

Well, the new episode of House was definitely interesting. I wasn't expecting House to actually care about the patient for once, and I was surprised that there wasn't much showing of the new ducklings. Or any showing of Chase. Lots of great House/Wilson moments, especially where Wilson runs away from House. Wilson dating Amber kind of took me by surprise. I can't wait until tonight's episode. Should be interesting.

In these cold winter months, all the days seem to run together. This semester, my classes are completely different and much easier. For some crazy reason, I decided to take a keyboarding class even though I already know how to type. Actually, I wanted to take accounting, which would have been much more useful, but I guess all my scheduling wants can't be fulfilled. I'm excited that House is finally coming on again! It will be interesting to see how this new team reacts to a real case now that the 'Survivor' arc is finally over. Hmm. I'm hungry. I should eat some fruit.

Wow, I wasn't expecting Cole to get fired on House tonight. Well, maybe I was. I'm excited for next week's episode, we finally get to see who's going to be on the new team! I'm not really sure who I want to be on this team, but I definitely hope Kutner is on it. He's a very interesting character, dedicated to his job to the extreme! Woo.

    Au revoir!

The House premiere was exciting, but I'm missing the ducklings already. They better come back soon or the show will be a bit less boring.

French project went well. I'm surprised.

This evening I'm going to a birthday party for my friend.

    Au revoir!

House is starting again tomorrow! Oh the joy. Sadly I won't be able to watch it because I'm busy that night. Better fire up the VCR.

I have a French presentation due in two days. I'm rather nervous. I feel I won't have enough information or the information I have will have some inaccuracies. Either way, I'll just have to keep working on it.

I hope I don't have too much homework this week. School's rather tiring.
