Yay, it's Halloween! Time to go get lots of candy! Well, not too much.

I was having a little trouble deciding on my costume for Halloween. I was originally going to be a pirate, because I could easily make a costume since I had already dressed up in it for Welcome Back. Then, my mom found these gray and blue pleated skirts for $2 each, thinking that they loked nice. When I saw them, I immediately thought of Full Metal Panic and Bleach. I wasn't sure if I should actually cosplay at all, but I had a dress shirt with a pocket, and I thought that being a pirate again would be boring.

I decided to dress up like a student in the school that the Bleach characters are from. It really does look like the girls' uniform, except I couldn't find pain white knee highs that fit, so I have ones with cherries on them. Also, the red bow is actually a hairband tied in a bow safety pined onto my shirt. It was fun, though only the anime club and my friends who like anime knew what it was.

Its raining here and there, but I think that trick-or-treating will still go on fine.

Oh yeah, I'm happy that I've finally went up a rank; I've been at level 8 for something like a year or so.

Well, I've been busy with lots of school stuff lately. We get a whole lot of English homework.. sometimes our teacher underestimates the time it takes us to do stuff as well as she wants us to, I'd say. Still, the class is interesting, especially this crazy debate we had over whether or not Shylock from The Merchant of Venice was guilty of pre-meditated murder. I got Shylock is not guilty, and our group consequently had every single guy in our class (AS English classes don't always have a ton of boys, anyway), and they were all pretty crazy in some way or another. The other team had some of the theatre zealots who love public speaking. So our team was pessimistic, but then some decided to really fight for it.

It was hilarious how it started out like a lawyer show and then ended up like a somewhat organized "Yo Momma" contest, over who could find the strongest points and quotes. There was actually shouting, and the lead presenters were right in front of each other, saying their proof. It got so tense that our teacher let us go outside in the middle and plan the rest of the "battle." There was 10 people standing up in our group, backing up the main speakers. In the end, our group defied the odds and won because Shylock never said he wanted to kill Antonio explicitly, and he lent Antonio money kindly.

I guess people who weren't involved might have thought we were total dorks, but it sure livened up the class.

This is the week of homecoming at my school. We've had some pretty good spirit days, except for toga day, of course, that's tough and awkward to dress up for. Today was opposite gender day, so I wore a big t-shirt, baggy shorts that were sagged with my PE shorts as boxers, some vans, and an Ash Ketchum hat. Yep, I wore an old pokemon hat to school, and put it on the side like gangsters around here do. I also brought a bulbasaur talking ball just as a joke. People really liked it, or at least thought it was funny. People were very into this spirit day in particular; kids love to make fun of the opposite gender. Some guys even had fishnets and booty shorts on. It was my job in Leadership to document this week, and today was a lot of fun, looking for crazy outfits. Even some people I wouldn't expect to do this did do it, and the guys looked funny in tight shirts with tissues in them. Maybe some people consider it inappropriate, but its just a joke, and people can get reprimanded if they do anything really bad. A guy did go a little far with his thong showing.

Well, you ask, why on a night were I have plenty of homework, am I hanging out here, which is something I rarely do on nights like this? Well, I have to be at school from 7 in the morning to 10 at night and miss school the entire day for homecoming, so my homework is generally not due tommorow. I'll get some done tonight, for I don't want to compound it over the weekend, but I just felt like actually visiting here for once, to check out things and take a break. I have to go to bed early, though. I thing I will at least get my social studies and math homework done today, if not the English journals, too. Other than that, there is only Spanish home wrk; really, I could do that quickly, too.

Oh well, I'm off to check out some forums!

Hmmm, well after having tons of homework/school stuff, and not feeling like going on the Internet too much, I haven't logged onto here in a while. That's not good, but what's worse is that they changed the site around in a fashion I'm not all that fond of. I guess it looks kind of cool, but I thought that the old template or whatever it was went better with the idea of a tv site. This mostly white scheme feels kind of odd to me, but I guess I just have to get used to it.

In fact, I'm sure that we all have to get used to this new way. It definitely seems hard to access right now, for things are in different places, and somethings still need their bugs to be fixed, as I can already tell with my PMing problem. I've already seen a few complaints on other's blogs when I logged on.

Well, I guess that this will eventually become easier to access, but it does have a weird set up that I'm not sure if I like yet.

On other topics, school has been alright, but this week I was a little dizzy half the time, so boring classes and tests seemed worse. I think it being the weekend now may have helped ease this, for the moment.

Well, I've been in school for two weeks as a sophomore who can actually spell sophomore. For Leadership, we were already busy with our Welcome Back Dance/Rally in the first week of school, and publicly showing that our school has a Leadership class. Yep, our teacher made us wear our jersey for the entire 1st week of school. 5 days straight. Fricking weird, if I do say so myself. We got to be pirates with swords on stage during the rally. Instead of having a sword, I had an axe, because they ran out of swords. I did get to try jumping off stage in practice, onto a mat, just for fun. It kind of hurt, though. Some guys did it during the actual rally, and one got hurt pretty bad, but he's okay now. We had to be pirates at the dance, too. An alright theme, at least. Other kids seemed to like it.

Other than those distractions, the first two weeks of school have been alright. I've been getting used to how different the people in my classes are now. I was so used to have certain people in certain classes and not having people in others that it is quite weird now. Some guy I had 6/7 classes with last year I now have 4. Some other guy I had 5/6 classes with last year, I now have 2. Then these other two guys I barely had any classes last year, I now have all of them with them. Wow. P.E. is weird without my old P.E. buddy, and my other friends, but its not so bad, for I have other pretty good friends there. Physics has a good amount of "loud" people in it, so we'll have to see how that turns out.

It's hard to get to history class on time. It's so far away from the locker that I have to power walk up there. If you come in even one second late to that class, you get detention. Then I have to power walk to my next class, English, because I take the long way around to walk with my friend.

There's a lot of homework to come, I know it, and I'm still out of "thinking" condition. Guess I still need to get better sleep.

Overall, it's been actually alright to see my friends again, for people have had the summer to relax, and there isn't the end of the semester drama that there always seems to be. Even as a freshman last year, I noticed people get really, eh, pissed off, antsy, accusing, angry, etc. People seemed to cool down a bit. Well, I guess we are sophomores after all. I intend upon doing more things this year at school, so it doesn't get boring, or at least too boring. College is getting closer, I really did get bored last year. I need to make some changes, especially so I don't get walked all over.

Wow, I just blah, blah, blahed on there for a while. I suppose I should tell you something interesting. Hmmm, well my Spanish class is pretty funny part of the time, so something may come up in the future. It would be interesting to go to Spain with these people, if our teacher and parents permit it. Probably would make the Spanish say, "Crazy Americans, do they need to make that much noise?"

Next time, maybe I'll come up with something that isn't a rant.

Well, just felt like ranting about my favorite manga. No real order.

~Fruits Basket~Lots of girls, even girls who normally aren't into manga, read this one, but it's for a good reason. From the summary, you'd probably be kinda apprehenhesive, but after a volume or two, you can tell it's going to be good, if not great. The characters are my favorite part about the sereis, for so many become so developed, and the plot makes more sense. Character development is awesome; at first Tohru didn't seem that great, but then things started to make more sense as the series continued. The drawing becomes quite awesome towards the end, and I am very interested in the last 3 volumes I have yet to read. Some things are too conincidental too often, but it usually isn't that big of a deal except in volume 20 for me (that's not really a spoiler, you know). I'm afaid to look up anything about it on the internet, because people may spoil it, even if I have an idea of how it may end, I don't know it for sure, or any of the details.

~Love Com~A light and goofy series that is whole lot of fun, but has some good messages that are shown pretty well. I like how its hard for the main couple to get together because of how much their personalities match. It's really funny, with crazy humor and lively characters. It uses typical cliches, but then takes them in another direction that manages to be different and go with the series well. It's nothing super deep, but it's fun. The drawing style fits it well.

~Ouran High School Host Club~It's crazy and has a weird summary (don't all of the 3 mentioned so far?), but it has some heart to it, behind the over the top humor making fun of the rich, hot guys that each fit into a different stereotype. It's funny how each of them hosts girls who have a certain fetish. The humor is so much fun to read, even if the authors style is unclear most of the time, and she has a bad time with the timing; she made the same year repeat itself starting in volume 9 so that Hunny and Mori wouldn't graduate and change things yet. That made me pissed; usually manga is better than American cartoons in such matters, but it's not horrible, because this is Hatori's first series over 2 volumes as far as I know. The characters actually do get developed pretty okay so far, except for maybe Hunny and Mori; those two too often seem useless, don't they, as if they both just fill a stereotype, but they do help with the wacky activities of a bunch of rich kids and a cross dressing commoner. Kinda funny its a reverse harem, but at least only half of the guys like Haruhi like that. I've been actually reading some fanfics, something I pretty much never do, because Viz isn't releasing the 11th volume until Nov, and the last one was releasedin Feb. Some are actually pretty good, but others are all about fan girl fantasies that are truely out of character (there was one really fantasising one about Haruhi dating Tamaki, but cheating on him with Kyoya, which was definatetely OOC IMO).I liked this one about the future, with the whole club being broken up, then meeting 10 or so years later in some coincidences, and serches. They made sense as more reserved, but still fairly correct in character. I think it was called "Never Saw You Coming" on fanfiction.net.

Dang that was a long rant on Host Club: I'm currently really into that one, for some reason. I guess I always get really into a few forms of media over the summer, but I think I will still really like this series during the school year. With all three of the ones I mentioned above, I have to wait for new volumes. Love Com comes out every two months, Fruits Basket every four, and for Ouran it varies, seems like every nine months, or at least six.

Dang, I used a whole lot of semicolons there! Guess it was truely a rant.

Those are just my top three. I guess it's kinda like

    1.Fruits Basket

    2. Ouran High School Host Club

    3. Love Com

I like some others, but those are the only ones that I really can't wait to read; the others I can wait more patiently for. I like Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, DN Angel, Rurouni Kenshin, and others that I can't think of right now. The problem I have with Rurouni Kenshin is that I still remember it pretty well from when I watched the anime, so it's kinda towards the bottom of my list because I still remember it fairly well. I kinda like how Slam Dunk is going so far, so I may read some more chapterrin the first volume. The drawings are awesome for having been drawn in 1990.

I guess I like shonen anime more than shojo, but I get more into shojo manga than shonen. I look at a line up of shojo manga, and there is more I want to check out than in shonen. Still, some I just totally am not into that people say are good, like stuff by Yuu Watasee; I just can't get into them.

Okay, enough random ranting for now. I got my school schedule recently. It's not too bad; I got AS Modern World History first thing in the moning, and physics last, geez. Oh well, I could have PE at either one of those times, and it would be a lot worse. English is 2nd and PE 3rd, good places, I'd say, especially with blockperiods, but I think that means that I would have my 2 strictly AS classes, English and History, on the same day of finals. Again, a pretty good schedule; I'm happy about PE, for its a good time, and the teacher isn't the one who makes you constantly run.

Okay, enough ranting for now. Probably more than enough especially with all of the semi colons .

Well, I had to go on this retreat thing for my Leadership class so that we could bond. We had tot go to this old camp and hang out in this one room pretty much all day, sitting on the floor a lot of the time! The dorms had these old beds that look like they were still there from when the place was constructed, probably about 40 years ago. The girls were joking that the beds were from Alcatraz. I said that they were probably rejected from Alcatraz .

It was kind of fun to joke around with everybody who we were stuck with for more than 24 hours, even though trying to sleep was horrible. Everybody kept talking until two in the morning, and even after that I couldn't go to sleep. It was around six when I did get comfortable, and I had to wake up at seven! Apparently the guys got 30 minutes of sleep.

The icebreakers were pretty funny, we had to do all kinds of crazy things, like carry people, dance crazy, and play games. We also did stuff that actually pertained to the class.

Overall, I think that the new head council we have this year will be better than last year's. They've got stuff due for us before the school year even begins to make things more welcoming for the students, as well as a dance and a rally in the first week of school! They seem more organized now.

Of course, I did not forget to mention, this week is the LAST week of summer vacation. Crud, back to school work I guess . Oh well, I'd got bored if I didn't have school for much longer, I guess.

Maybe next time I'll talk about something that would actually be something interesting for my friends here to read.

Well, for now I'm working at a tutoring center as a person who

    1. Gets books for kids

    2. Takes calls

    3. Operates the prize room

    A.K.A. a teachers' aide

It's not a bad job, minimum wage, but here that's about $8/hour. Sometimes I don't really know what to do when I'm done getting all of the books for the day. I always have to keep my ears ready for the phone though; I missed it the entire time the first day, though I don't think that there was a whole lot. Some of the books are kind of confusing to find at first, but I never have to get books for the mainly-math teacher, for he's right next to them. I was behind because I couldn't find the writing books at all, but then I got help, so it's all good.

I don't know if I can really keep it during the school year, though. It is nice to be making a few extra dollars, and it proves to colleges that I'm not being completely useless during my summer, even if I just got it fairly recently. Plus, the little kids are cute, so its kind of fun to see them get all excited over the prize room and other things.

Another random rant. Maybe I'll write about my favorite manga next post.

Hmmm, I just felt like randomly going on about my reviews here at tv.com.

Really, they aren't how reviews are really supposed to be. You're not supposed to go into great detail spoiling the entire plot, nor have a partial plot summary, but I do it anyway. I just always want to go on about everything, so I don't stick to normal review writing processes.

I also am too soft when I rate the episode or show. Really, I should have put something like 6.0 for Pokemon, but I gave it a 7.3, or something like that.

Maybe I'll try to be more like a reviewer in the next review I do, but the last two were the last episodes of two of my favorite shows.

I guess I should go back to studying. I have a night class final today, but I decided to take a break and come here.

Well, I wrote a blog post, but the Vista program seems to randomly exit the internet at times (gotta figure out what I'm doing with it to make it do that). Just wanted to say that Avatar had an epic ending that was worthy of the show. A few lose ends, and some people didn't consider it dark enough, but I thought it was just right, and the characters were definately in character. A good lesson in there too, those maybe a lttle convinient.

I did a full review of it, along with the finale of Danny Phantom that I've been meaning to do for almost a year now. Both were fairly long, but the Danny Phantom one was longer because there were a lot of distinct things that bothered me about it (it wasn't too bad, though).

Guess I should change a few things on my profile, for they're outdated, and start talking on the forums again, for I've got a few more shows I like. Can't believe the blog before this one was about New Year's!

Hi everybody, happy new year!!! Its 2008, now, and I hope that it will turn out great, and that I can stick to my resolutions. I want to be more friendly and kind to people, and try harder to stay in contact with my friends when I'm not in school, for I don't talk to many of them during breaks like these. I want to become better friends with the people around me, and also become a bit more outgoing.

This seems like quite a few things to work on, but they fall in the simmilar catergory of friendship and other relationship improvement. Feeling lonely too often really sucks, so I want to become more friendly so I don't have to feel that so often. I'm fine if I just improve a little within these areas; I'm not expecting to immediately obtain betterrelationships, but I know if I just work on it,things can improve.

Also, as another resolution, I plan to join a school team, if I make it. There are a few spring sports that sound good, although I'm not sure if they are gonna be able to do one of them, but I know this, so I want to do swimming. I was having a lot of fun swimming for P.E. near the beginning of the school year, and I ant to do that again, if I can make the team. I'm not sure if I'm fast enough.

I hope that I can keep these resolutions, and I will try to work on them. I already started a little, I just hope I can keep it up.

Also, as a part of this, I should come here and talk to people more often, too. I should log in and go on the forums more often, but school ork takes up a lot of time, and I don't always have something to talk about. I miss how the Danny Phantom forums were back when I first came on here; there used to be a lot to talk about. Unfortunatly, the episodes got dran out, and ere dropping in certain qualities, so fans stopped showing up, for there wasn't much to talk about. Now, there is very little at all since it ended. I should try the Avatar forums more often; I usually only read the posts there.

Wow, this turned out longer than I expected, and I don't need to go babbling on much more. I hope you all a great new year, and luck on your resolutions and the future! Talk to you later!

Ah, school requires a lot of work, and when I have free time, I don't always feel like going on the computer, so that's why I haven't been on her in a while. There's a lot I should go look at after this tiem. I still like this website, but I used to like to go on the DP forums a lot when it was more active and interesting, but that was quite a long time ago now. Avatar's still on and going strong, and there are a bunch of other forums to go on, and a lot of people to talk to, so I should try to get on here on the weekends.

I should write some reviews, haven't done any in while. I know I at least need to do "Phantom Planet." Maybe later, I want to do some extra credit for English, which, ironically, involves a review of this play I got to see.

    See you later!

Wow, I con't believe that DP has ended.... with so many things unfinished. I liked PP, but I didn't think that it was dramatic enough, and some parts wern't played right, like the first part was way too slow. It had some realy cool moments, Vlad getting just desserts, even form Jack, losing at his own game, Danny learning how important his powers are to him and the world by losing them (I woul'de liked it better if it was by accident), and Danny and Sam fianlly getting together. Still, a number of thing were weird to me. Well, its the end and that's basically what we got,and I enjoyed it and thought it was rather good. Still, itdidn't quite have the charm of TUE, whichis my favorite movie/ep of DP of all time. I wish that PP had more of hte tense drama TUE and RS had, but it still had good moments that made it better.

It's sad to see it gone after liking it a lot since the ep"Control Freaks" aired on June 17, 2005, but the ending isn't to bad, but my hopes were a bit higher.

It's weird that the thing that reallybrought me into the online community hasended, and with little occasion. Nick just threw the last season into 2 weeks at bad timeslots, barely advertising the bigmovie. Come on, if you want ratings, people should be able to know when the eps air! Still, I will stay on the online com here because there's still more stuff to talk about, even if I barely come here because of school.

School started the Tuesday before last for me, and I take all the advanced classes I can take, and my slowness and procratination makes homework worse. My new school is okay so far, but there's so many students, and PE is so far from my next class and up a flight of stairs and a slope. High school is an intereesting new experience with lots of extra curricular ativities. I joined Anime club; a number of my friends are there, and it sound like fun. We're going to get drawing lessons, and fund raise so we can go to a convention (yeah, a dorky thing, but still, it's fun to do crazy things with your friends), but we'll see if we can fund raise enough (hah!).

Oh well, see you guys later!

Yep, I just finished reading the last of the phenomenal book series, Harry Potter, and I like how it ended. I don't want to give a single thing away other than a little bit of me feelings toward it, but some things might be slightly spoiled.

    Slight Spoilers

It had a bit of a different feeling to it from the other books, but it was still Harry Potter. I liked the setting of the climax (we all knew it had to end there), and I was pretty much glued to the book during it. Some thing in the climax was a little weird (in fact a whole chapter), but I think I get the idea. I really like learning more about two of some of the important and mysterious characters; I liked knowing their true intentions; I felt kinda sad for one, making me like him/her more, even though I still don't like him/her too much, but they're okay in my book. The ending was rather good; it's tough to end good and long running things well, but J.K. Rowling said that she had the end in mind long before this book was written, and it worked. I'm sad about the good guys who died, but its okay.

    End Slight Spoilers

It's kinda sad that there isn't going to be anymore Harry Potter books to look forward to, but this is the book that we've been waiting for for a while, so I'm content. I'm glad that I finally know what happened to the boy that lived, and I'm glad that this book only took two years to make from the last one. I have to admit though, it's weird having thingssummedup after all of the speculation.

I wouldn't mind talking a bit with anyone who wants to talk about th book. Just make sure you finished the book; I don't want to accedentally screw it up for you.

Happy Independnece Day everyone! The United States is 231 years old now! Definately an interesting 231 years of history at times. It's almost time for fireworks about now, so I'll have to log off soon, but I just wanted to spread the feeling. A bunch of other Americans on this site have already posted the same message, though. Well, today is a day for celebration, so I'm off of my current TA-ing job, so I actually got to sleep in, making my less irritable and more able to have fun. Hope you guys have a good day today, as well!

I just went to Cable Tv Talk and it said that there would be a week of new episodes of it from Jul 9-13 at 4:00PM! This is great news, considering on the day of that 1st episode, it will have been 9 months since the last episode! Man, after all of this time, it's finally here! I generally trust this website, so I'll go with this. I really hope its not wrong; its just been so long since new episodes and false dates that I'm not sure anymore. The worst thing is that I kinda trust CableTv Talk more than I do for the creator of the show's, at least on the dates of the episodes lately. Wow, I'm just so happy, I'm glad that I waited; its better to see it on the TV; it's legal and much cooler and special.

Still, I have my doubts, and am kinda mad that these eps aren't primetime, but it's alright; at least they're being shown. Unfortunately, it seems that they may not be showing one ep because of this naked sceane I've been hearing about in "Eye for an Eye." Sounds extremely funny, and I doubt that it shows much, but that may be enough to have Nick ban it; I don't really know. We'll just have to see if this ep is shown.

I'm glad to have this great news, especially since I think its probably right. An emphasis on probably.

YEAH, SCHOOL'S OUT, AND I'M NOW KIND OF A FRESHMAN!

Okay, had to get that out . Beware, a very long rant is directly below. It might be too long to read just as a friends blog, considering how boringly I write. I just felt like describing the last few days of school. That's part of what a blog is for, right?

I got out of school last Thursday, and have been enjoying summer since. Thuresday was my 8th grade graduation, so it was a big deal. On the Tuesday, Wednesday and morning before it we practiced a lot. Ordering around nearly 300 kids into an orderly ceremony takes much more work that it did for 64 6th graders! We all kept messing up gettting into the auditorium in the proper order and time, so we had to keep practicing that. Just imagine more of the fun when they had to call out the 270-280 names to make sure they were said right, all while sitting in the blaring light they were trying to get ready. Even so, it turned out that the ceremony went well and ordely, considering they made us get into line 30 minutes early. It was long, but it was good. I liked the Star-Spangled Banner Jimi Hendrix style played by this kid I know on his guitar. Still, sitting during the name calling was hard in the white polyester robes. Afterwards, I got a bunch of pictures with my friends, and went to the dance.

The dance was pretty good. I liked some of the good rap and hip-hop songs, but I didn't like it when they played a couple twice (one song was nearly consecutive). All of the peple except for the rockers who came, the people who don't mind rock, and the people who just like to dance left to go outside during the Def Leopard song. I was kinda pissed at how extremely rude they were being. Ther were only 25 or so people inside during the song!!! It was a good song, too. Rockers stay during the rap songs they don't like, they at least don't all leave at once. I may sound like Stephanie from Full House, but "How rude!" Anyway, I like the mosh pits we had when they had a certain song on. One kid got lifted up and carried around! The mosh pits when the glow sticks were thrown to us were way too much, though. Absolutley crazy! The end was sad, for a lot of people were crying during "I Believe I Can Fly" and "Graduation." I said bye to everyone, especially the ones who were going to another school (there are enough of those friends going to another school to make you sad). After the crying started going on too long, I just left. Too many people crying around be is weird, because I don't cry in front of other people often.

Anyway, summer has been pretty good; I've been goofing of, playing video games, swimming and such. I should probably email some of my freinds soon. Maybe I'll have more time to come on here. We'll have to see.

A couple of days ago marked the 1 year mark since I've joined the site. I've been too lazy to make a blog for the past few months; didn't even make one for my 14th birthday on Jan. 8th . Eighth grade homework can take quite a while at times, though. A little too long. That's why it's hard to come on here sometimes (in fact, I should be be doing it right now).

So yeah, I thought I'd make a blog to tell you what's going on.

Yeah, I just felt like I should say that. Wow, it's hard to believe it's already 2007! 2006 went really fast!

Of course, you should've heard my little brother trying to be the countdown clock before 12. He started one minute before, but I kept interupting him, but we both counted down when 10 seconds were left. When the clock struck 12, Abid went of screaming. Then we got to look outside at the fireworks from far away, so it was cool.

As for my New Years' resolution, I guess I shopuld be more friendly and communicate to people better, and to get in shape. We'll have to see if I can keep these things.

Oh well, Happy New Year (again )!

I just went this morning to check out the weather in this place we're going to, and it said the title of the new book. You can play a game over at www.jkrowling.com to find out the title, but I don't have too much time, so I scrolled down a little and it said Scolastic said that the name was.............

    Drumroll please....

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!

Sounds cool, that's for sure! I wonder what Hallows are? Have tehy already been introduced in the previous books and I forgot. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait until it comes out.

I wasn't really in the mood on Thanksgiving to write this, but now I am! It's also helpful that during the time that I was researching my project, "Rebel with a Cause," that I found a funny picture related to Thanksgiving.
