  End of Semester

  Haauggh! Thank goodness, it's vacation (for 2 weeks I guess) again, I won't be cramming in artworks and such. So just to celebrate that, I drew something out of boredom. This;

The characters you see here are mostly from my faved TV shows, some are from music videos, games and movies. I only did this in less than 1 day, and most of the characters were done by me for the first time. I've already done Lily & Mitsuki (Kappa Mikey), Normad (Galaxy Angel), Betty (Ugly Betty), Lorraine (MadTV), Sam & Clover (both from Totally Spies), Lt. Zofia & Yuri (C&C:Red Alert 2) and Bella & Mortimer Goth (The Sims) back then. The characters shown here, drawn for the first time; Let's start with singers or people in music videos, Michael Jackson (you can see him doing the moonwalk) Kelly; upper right corner... the gay with glasses, Kelly's Grandma; in the Cunningham Muffins stand, and Lenka; 3rd row, the girl with a flower in hand.   My god that's a lot! I've done this one back in Friday, today is Monday and there are currently slight improvements with this doodle (I've added Penelope Taynt from the Amanda Show, Chii from Chobits and some adjustments to the characters). There will be a scanned version of this next time. And please, leave a comment... I didn't make blogs just to be ignored. I don't mean to be pushy, I just don't like wasting a long blog!

  I'm baaaaaaack! And blogging... again!

  Great! I'm back and in the mood (sort of) to blog... And now that I'm in a new realm called "college". I can say, college life is just hard as high school! I a lot to talk about, but for now I'll just show some of them...

  Are you wondering why I put the word "again"

  This is just recent, a few minutes ago.

  You know why? It's because I'm about to finish this blog, I made 4 topics, and then the power went out for a second! AAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Darn it! Now I have to do this, again! Although shorter than the one I made a while ago. Aaggh! I'm so annoyed!

  One heck of a commute!

  This was just yesterday. My "Materials" class was dismissed by 4:30pm, but I went home 4:45pm since I'm waiting for someone to go out first, then I'll go out of the room as well (is that weird for you?). Then I wait for a transport to ride on (yes, I commute. I don't own a car, can't drive one either, yet)... Guess what, all of the busses, jeepneys, taxis, and other public transport are freaking full! So then, I wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, then I lost my temper! I feel like I'm going to scream and throw something! I've been standing up, waiting from one stop to another for 2 hours, still... NONE can occupy a person! I've went near and far from our campus just to find a taxi. You heard me right, TAXI, one ride can cost you more than 200 pesos (ahem, Philippine currency. a U.S. dollar will cost you at least 48 Philippine Pesos, 'kay?). Then, at 9pm, I finally got crammed into a bus (it's fine for me, at least the fares are way cheaper than a taxi ride)! I got home by 10:30pm! Then I have to wake up at 4am just to prepare for school (I have to take a 1 hour ride just to get there) which starts at 7am!

  Anyway, I found out a while ago that I'm not the only one that took hours just to wait for stupid public transport! One of my friends got home by 11pm! I was relieved by that anyway.

  Is the reason "school"?

  I see most of you aren't making blogs for 2 months or touching their accounts. I know, school's back, time to cram our minds with homework and a bunch of activities, and listen to our teachers/professors. Yawn... I'm not trying to say school is pathetic, or lame, it can be fun in some cases.

  If school's not the reason you don't update, then what is it?

  Heathcliff... Grrrrr...

  I only have to say one thing about that stupid show... Never mind I might get reported for saying colorful language. Whatever it is, this thing ruins my night after I watch Kappa Mikey! I have a good laugh after watching Kappa Mikey, then this show comes after K.M! Great! My day is ruined! I can't believe Nickelodeon still airs that farthead Heathcliff! It's the worst show I've ever seen, it's hard believe that this vintage cartoon had low ratings ('cause it's made by DiC, they always make dumb shows!), I was expecting an 8 or higher, but I'm happy that it's at 7... Ha! I not always in the mood to review this show, someday I will.

  Aussie Lovin'

  I used to love Russia, 'cause the Soviets rock at Command and Conquer: Red Alert! Well, I'm not really loving Russia as much as I did last 2 years, but I still like that country. Now I have 2 countries to be interested with, Russia (of course) and Australia. I'm still into speaking in Russian though, rather than talking in an exaggerated version of British accent. I first started to take interest with the land down under after I found out some of the things that I love are Australian! My fave car is a Monaro, a car built by Holden, an Aussie car manufacturer. I'm starting to like Lenka (you know, the singer who sang "The Show")! Not just for her songs, she's kinda cute too... (Am I blushing?!) I actually thought she's a European singer (by her looks), just to find out, she's half-European half-Australian! Then, Rocko came back! No, he's not my pet dog, he's my favorite cartoon character back when I was at 4th grade throughout 6th grade. It's beacause Rocko's Modern Life airs at Nickelodeon again! Well, that means he's my fave cartoon character, again! Yes, that's the wallaby in my TV.com avatar, and obviously he's Aussie. Just like Lenka, I think he's cute (pardon?).

  That all I can give for now! Man, this thing took an hour to type!

  The Incredibly Cheesy (Literally) Adventures of Chez; A dumb review

  If you're southeast-asian, you're familiar with this in Nickelodeon Asia, if you're Malaysian, you definitely know this since this show was made in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, airing in some channel I don't know.

  ger5632, I bet you know this, you're Malaysian right?

  Anyway, here it goes...

  What do you get if you have a famous snack and and numerous ads about it... A T.V. show! A really dumb one, in this case, The Incredibly Cheesy Adventures of Chez! This show is an "almost equivalent" of "Jollitown" in the Philippines; the characters are based on the mascots of the well known fastfood restaurant, Jollibee. Though, it's not an animated series, it's just as stupid and lame as the Incredibly-- arghh! What a mouthful (of Cheezels?)! Just call it T.I.C.A.C!

  First of all doesn't anyone from the production know what the word "Cheesy" is? Sure it means resembling cheese... for them! For me, it really gives my review a point, for Americans and some slang speaking people, it means "tasteless or bland and showy" and the perfect meaning for this show "Of poor quality or shoddy". Don't blame me, I'm looking it up at the dictionary (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language to be specific) which is on my lap while I'm typing this review.

  Now for the show! The plots are so pathetic, voice acting is just plain horrid and d-bag! The Malaysian accent isn't present much (except for some of the King's guards, I can hear it) but I do admire the one who voiced the British accented, huge, blue and green creature which is one of Chez's friends, I like it, not very asian!

  And the animation... let me count the flaws;

  1. Look! Their lips are flapping! What is this, Monster Allergy?!

  2. The next time you make a close-up, it better be at the right distance at the right person, they close-up really at a very close distance, it's like you can already kiss the character in the T.V.! Did I mention most of the close-ups come from terribly designed villains, like... ewww!

  3. It's "flash animated"? Majority of the most terrible cartoons were made in Macromedia Flash! One of them is Lola and Virginia! Kappa Mikey is one of the best in Flash Animation!

  4. The characters are plain ugly, except Boo, she's fine.

  5. The spaceship designs are also suckage, hit one of them with a missile, and watch them spin and crash... unscratched!

  The sountrack? who sang the theme song? It's not Asian-ish! It sounds really American! Not catchy for me!

  So, now this review ends, with a show rating of 2 out-of 10! It's better to eat Cheezels than to watch this piece of cheese! This really cuts the cheese! It's really cheesy! Enough with the cheesy puns already! So, who wants Cheezels? I don't, I haven't tasted it yet! Let's just hope it won't be as cheesy as Chez! Heheh... Enough!
