  First Impressions: Hitman Absolution

  My first Hitman game was the second one for the PS2.  The first time I played it, I was struck by how many different ways the game could be played.  Each assassination had a myriad of ways to get to your target.  In this next gen sequel, the look and feel of the game holds true to what I remember.  The variety of choices is really refreshing.  There are so many games that are linear in execution, punishing you if you deviate.  It is nice to play a game however you like.
  
  This might have been a good choice for the next game.  I'm hoping to make some decent progress tomorrow, thank goodness for federal holidays.  I am still blown away by Square Enix and if anyone has any recs for any of their other franchises, do let me know!

  2013 Gaming Update 15

  Another week, another game down, though, to be fair, gum graft surgery kept me out of work and somewhat out of my mind.  I'm sure that had nothing to do with the technical issues I had with the game.  I stopped taking pain meds days ago, so what is the games excuse for that?  Exactly.

  I've already started Hitman.  Since Last of Us comes out in a few weeks, I thought, Hitman might be a quick play-through, especially with another two days off from work.  So far, I'm enjoying the beauty of another Square Enix game.  Man, can they do stunning visuals or what?  First Deus Ex, then Tomb Raider and now this, I might have to convert to playing more of their games, just because.
