Kirby 5-Star website
Well, due to a few circumstances, the union I led, the Kirby 5-Star Union, has grown out of Gamespot and into a full-fledged website! The main site was created by toadster101, and the forums by Destiny_Guy. Anyone who's an old member, or if you want to join in as a new Kirby fan, click here!
I know, there's nothing much on the main site and the designs are still the default one, but rest assured we're working on them the best we can.

Animal Crossing typo
You know, finding small errors like this can be fun. Not that I'm a rabid grammar freak or anything, but it makes me lol sometimes

pikaby's 2008 Top 10- Part 2
Continued from Part 1. I've been procrastinating this again
Anyway, on with the rest of this long overdue list.5. Okami
I've heard many, many raves about Okami on the PS2, and just got it 2 months ago on my Wii. And it's very good. Beautiful game with trippy art direction, excellent use of Wii Remote controls for the brushstrokes, and a story to rival that of the Zelda series(of course, most of it is based off true Japanese legends). It'll last a good 30 hours, even more if you decide to do the sidequests, so that means it's a meaty game with plenty of depth, all the way from start to finish.
4. Kirby Super Star Ultra
Yeah, this is kinda obvious coming from a Kirby fan. I've never played the original, so I was pleasantly surprised by how much variety there was, from simple races with Dedede to an epic mini adventure collecting treasure in a mazelike cave, nothing gets old here. A good amount of difficulty from the Arenas make this quite a tough game to beat too. And it's cute lil' Kirby! Who can ever resist him?
3. Mario Kart Wii
In the 3rd place spot, it's Mario Kart Wii! One of the games that had the most fun factor of the year, it's even better when you take it online and race up to 11 other opponents. A real-life friends or sibling can even join in the online race as a guest, so no one's left out of the party. Tournaments are still organized regularly by Nintendo, though the records board is practically empty now.
2. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Most hyped Nintendo game of 2008. A tad too hyped, I'm afraid. Still, it turned out to be quite outstanding, from the seemingly endless number of music tracks, a robust character and stage lineup, and a much better Adventure Mode in the form of the Subspace Emissary. Even if it's a bit too similar to SSBM on the Gamecube, thousands of hours of fun can still be had with local multiplayer(online sucks, sucks, sucks!). This is the series' strongest point, and continuing the addictive formula is, IMO, the right move. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
And now, the top spot...
1. Taiko no Tatsujin Wii
I don't know where to begin raving. This is a perfect rhythm game with one of the craziest list of songs I have ever seen(70 in total, 28 being unlockable). It has something for everyone; novices can play on easier difficulties, while longtime fans(like me) will appreciate the sheer number of devilishly hard songs put into this package. 3 control methods, either you use the plastic drum packaged together with the game, or use the buttons on the Wiimote/ Cla$$ic controller. It may sound meaningless to anyone who isn't a fan of the series, but get an import Wii together with Taiko no Tatsujin and I swear, it'll be the best $300 you'll spend in a long time.
Bubbling under, some honorable mentions of 2008!
Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: 7-tsu no Shima no Daibouken
Animal Crossing: City Folk
Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2
Opoona
Wario Land: Shake It!
de Blob
Pokemon Ranger 2: Shadows of AlmiaAnd that's all!
