    PSN Buddies - Wanted!

As Sony continues to revolutionize online gaming, I begin to wonder about my gamplay experience. The lineup: Resistance: Fall of Man, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion,Rainbow Six: Vegas, LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Solid Online, NCAA Football '08, and most importantly - PlayStation Home. Games such as these are drawing near. And what comes to mind? Gaming buddies.

My PSNP is ooJmong and I'm available to all who are looking for an incredible gaming experience. I only have two games so far, but I'll be reigning the online realm soon, so cya there!

    Ninja Jacen Chronicles

So I finally got my hands on my own PS3. And I gotta say - it's incredible. Fortunately, this ISN'T one of those rare moments when I say "Hmmm...it doesn't feel as great as I thought." Amazing...powerful...majestic. These are the words that describe my Playstation.

As promised, I'm starting my PS3 quest with Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The graphics and overall specs of the game are beyond anything I've ever seen before. For the past two days, I've been hacking and slashing, beating bad guys here and there and learning new combos along the way. I met Muramasa and finally got the famed Izuna Drop and spammed that move for a few minutes thereafter. Some say this game is a waste of time, some say it's too damn easy. Who cares? Most games nowadays are either about leveling up or being the best at it. NSG is both. Since I've never played the previous two NS games (Original and Black), I must admit that I'm having trouble with that storage room challenge in the Airship level. At least I got the Dragon's Fang and Tiger's Claw...FINALLY. In any case, I wonder how long it'll take me to beat the game three to five times like all my friends have. Not to mention, add the hot Rachel to my playable character collection and see her in action. Heard she's slow...but whatever. Mission Mode, here I come!

On a side note, I'm downloading the latest MGS4 trailer from the Playstation Store. Imagine THAT in HD. yesssss

    Regards,
    Jacen

PS3 at the palm of my hands...soon

Playstation 3. The next generation of ultimate gaming. As I head into college next year, my destiny lies within UC Irvine. Questions about what I need to take arise: backpack, furniture, hair gel, clothes - you know, the usual MUST-HAVES. But there is one thing that must be added to the collection. This black phenomenon that performs better than your average PC isn't a normal gaming system. It's not the "game system that only kids play". According to my parents, I shouldn't involve myself with video games anymore, since you know...I'm entering the real world. But the PS3 IS in the real world. Although I usually respect all of my parents' decisions regarding most matters, this is my choice to make. Hell, I'm even taking $500 from my own wallet (technically, it's my parents money). Nevertheless, I have my sights set on the PS3, and perhaps I'll take advantage of that special offer that Circuit City has applied.

This summer, I won't become a lowlife while playing this system. I vow to take control of myself and not fall into the temptation of slashing away at enemies on Ninja Gaiden Sigma for six hours nonstop, but rather play only three hours nonstop. All in all, five things will be on my mind during my freshman year at UCI: Family, Church, Money, Future, and the PS3.

    Regards,
    Jacen
